Good but not great

The apartment size was very good. Unfortunately it is getting a bit tired and there was a few issues I felt uncomfortable with. The main one was the staining of the toilet seats that could not be removed with cleaning. I feel new seats are needed. The bottom of our shoes became dirty even though we didn’t wear them outside which made me wonder about the floor tiles! Apartment is in a very convenient location for shopping, the beach and restaurants. Apartment well equipped except for an egg slice!!!!

The situation was amazing and the apartment was large and spacious. Sadly the apartment is quite dated and the housekeeping was atrocious. The property manager came and saw the problem so hopefully it will be resolved

Great location to 4mile beach and all shops and restaurants on Macrossan St.The apartment was comfortable for an 8 night stay. Laundry in the apartment was good to have for a longer stay. Only downside was no balcony at our apartment which would have made the time more enjoyable.

Easy access to the beach, near shopping area

The reception staff were absolutely incredible. So helpful in organising our transfers. Highly recommend. Close to beach. Close to numerous dining options. It was perfection.

Reflections is a great place to stay with access to all of Port Douglas' amenities

Great location, central so near all bars and restaurants but far enough away to be nice and quiet. Literally 1 minute from the beach. Clean, comfy beds, good shower, efficient air conditioning.

We had a snafu on our first night because, it seems, Expedia failed to alert the property of our reservation. Jen found alternative lodging for us on our first night. The next day, Shannon and Crystal got us into our original booking. We liked it so much that we extended our stay — to make up for the night we lost. Highly recommend the great people at Silkari.

Great place to stay so close to beach and shops Service was excellent my only negative comment is that if you arrive late there is no one to help get luggage upstairs (being a female) it was quite difficult

Great location and very spacious for a family. The back apartment was a bit dark due to the enclosed balcony.

Fantastic location, spacious and well equipped apartment. Carmel, our host, really couldnt do enough to make our stay wonderful - from greeting us on arrival, to arranging airport transfers and excursions. We will definitely return!

Perfect location in Port Douglas

Such a delight to escape for a few days to Port Douglas. This property is ideally located in the heart of the thriving township and almost adjacent to the beach. The host Carmel was a delight to deal with. We will be coming back.

Beautiful 3 bedroom apartment. Very spacious and perfect location between the beach and shops. Pool is partly undercover which is great for kids and gets shade in the afternoon sun so very comfortable in the heat

Great resort, great location and great staff!

Ideally located in town. Generous size rooms and bathrooms. Lounge chairs were too old and uncomfortable to sit on.

Loved Reflections!

We had a great stay at Refelctions, big, comfortable and clean! Apartment had two bedrooms/two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, patio with table and chairs, washing machine/dryer. One minute walk to Four Mile Beach and to all the shops (including grocery stores) and restaurants. Carmel was so helpful before we arrived and Gary and Sue took excellent care of us while we were there. Would definitely stay here again.

Paradise at the Beach

Wonderful position near the beach and restaurants. Fabulous helpful owner who made us feel at home. Spacious accommodation for a couple with lovey gardens and pool.

Great location + 1-in-a-million property manager!

We chose this property primarily because of the location and small number of rooms and we were richly rewarded by the service we got from the property manager. When we first arrived, she came out of her office and greeted me by name and then came out to our minivan which was parked on the street to likewise greet my wife and children. That is a first for me in 30+ years of travel! She then escorted all of us to our apartment and gave us a quick tour of the rooms. We stayed for four days and every time we saw her she would again greet us by name and ask us how things were going. Golden... absolutely golden. My only criticism is that the building itself is showing its age a bit, so I didn't feel like we were living in the lap of luxury. But the service we were given and the location of the property (two buildings from the beach and a few steps from one end of the main street in Port Douglas) more than compensated for this shortfall. The pool and the kitchen in our apartment were also plusses.

The apartment was big and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy and water pressure in the showers very good. The location is perfect, we could throw a stone from the balcony and practically hit 4 mile beach. Macrossan street and the marina are also right on the doorstep so you can walk everywhere. Carmel, the property manager, was fantastic and provided us with everything we needed. You can purchase bits and bobs, hire beach towels to save room in the cases and book all the tours through her. Thanks Carmel for a great stay. highly recommended reflections and port douglas!

Excellent position to beach, Restaurants and walks.

The host was extremely helpful. She was there to receive us when we reached the property and gave all the necessary information about tours transport etc.

Property was in great location, accommodation itself maybe considered a little bit dated but it was very clean and you had plenty of space. Boys loved playing in the pool even though it was smallish. Carmel who greeted us and checked us in was excellent, so helpful and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Sue checked us out at the end of our stay and she was also great, so friendly too.

Good size rooms and everything we needed was there. Carmel was fantastic and couldn't of been more help.

Reflections of Port Douglas

Carmel was more than welcoming and accommodating. She was very helpful booking our transfers and day trips. We were pleasantly surprised with the location right on the main street but down the quiet end. Shops and Dining was just a short stroll up the road. Highly recommend this gem of a place.

Perfect place to stay

Perfect base at Reflections, Carmel is so helpful, was able to book tours for us. Carmel has so much knowledge of the area.Reflections is close to all services and shopping and eateries all around.The apartment was clean and had all the requirements to make our stay amazing.

Close to all the shops and restaurants in Port Douglas

We got there in the middle of a tropical storm. Carmel ran to meet us in the parking with umbrellas. The fact that she went out of her way to offer that gesture was really appreciated. Carmel is a great host and is always there to help and answer questions. The property is perfectly located, close to the beach and walking distance to all stores and restaurants. First class service, highly recommended.

A touch of paradise

Fantastic location, well appointed apartment with a spacious balcony with views of the beach. Our hosts Sue and Greg were lovely, providing us with some good local tips on restaurants and things to do in the area. Thank you for a relaxing escape.

Great accommodation close to everything

Great stay here in August 2018. The appartment was clean and comfortable. You are close to the beach, shops, bars, pubs and restaurants but there is little noise (unless you count the birds and the waves!) Carmel, Sue and Gary were all very welcoming and from the moment we confirmed the booking were on hand to offer advice and answer questions.

The apartment had everything we needed, was clean, and was in an excellent location near the beach. The host was most helpful as well. We'd definitely stay at Reflections again!

Great location with an even greater host

The location is excellent, blocks from beach and all restaurants and the wharf for catching tours. The accomodations were very comfortable with everything you need. The thing that sets this place apart is Carmel. She made our stay so special, to including literally meeting us on the sidewalk when our shuttle pulled up, and also saying goodbye to us when we left. She also booked all of the tours we asked about, and helped us cancel one once we got there and decided to spend more time in town. Do yourself a favor and set aside at least one day to explore Port Douglas, you won't be disappointed.

Great location close to the beach

We had a lovely time in port Douglas made all the better by our stay at :REFLECTIONS of PORT DOUGLAS: Sue and her husband ( resort managers) could not have been more welcoming and would go out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
