Great place

Was charged 200 for a smoking fee but i dont even smoke.. Asked to speak with manager still no response?

Paying for parking is not fair. 1st time I pay for parking in a hotel.

Texas State Basketball Championship

It was a quick stay for the Texas basketball state championship, in and out parking provided at an extra cost. But everything was in walking distance.

Needs some TLC

Positive- Location was good, Negative - Not Clean/ rundown condition of rooms and hallways. Especially disappointing was how the dressers were inside and out. Had to wipe them down before using.

Room was clean and sufficient. Noise goes through walls fairly easily. Parking was a little confusing with the up and down function for the 2nd level garage parking not working.

Dirty room

The carpet was dirty , seemed as if no vacuuming was done as there was a full press on looking nail on the floor by the bed. The bed had small crumbs or dirt on the covers as well.

Dolores was such an amazing help and making it very accommodating

Family getaway

The room was fine for our stay. The beds are petty hard and the pillows are thin. I recommend having your own pillows. Staff was very friendly and room was clean

I don’t like having to pay for parking when you are paying to stay at a hotel. It should be rolled into the price of the room.

Good hotel, but not great neighborhood

Easy check in, great housekeepers and staff. Good value. Have to pay for parking, lots of people sleeping on the streets next to the hotel. Signs all aound saying not responsible for bŕeak-ins

This hotel was extremely convenient because I was visiting the Vibes Event Center. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the riverwalk and you can immediately get on the highway. My only issue is that the room was made up but there was trash under the beds, some stains on the blankets and humidity damage in the bathroom. Even through it’s located next to an underpass, there was no noise coming into the room.

Bed was relatively comfortable, room was clean. Pillows were 50/50. The shower faucet leaked non stop. Staff was friendly at check in.

Building is not well maintained. It is dirty. The housekeeping left open their facilities rooms so guests had to walk by them all the time. Outlets were so old and used that anything you plugged in would fall out immediately. It’s in serious need of overall updating.

Let me start off by saying that the front desk staff were great. We checked in and went right to our room in the 1st floor. Right away i noticed that the rooms overall appearance was not great. You could tell that its not been kept up with. Even the inside of the dresser drawers were not good. I didnt feel comfortable enough to unpack my clothes. I went to use the bathroom and seen the toilet seat was coming off the toilet. I right away went to the front desk. He said mantinance had already left fornthe day, so he fave me another room. We rhen get pur stuff and go to the room on the Second floor close to the elevator. Once again the room was in bad shape and i didnt unpack my things. I stayed in the room any how because i didnt have time to look for another hotel. We didnt get much sleep at all the all the banging and lound noises coming from the hall / elevator area and outside. The bedding had visible stains on them so we slept under just the sheet and small blankets we happen to bring. We were unable to use the shower because once you turned it on hundred of ants were coming out if the faucet. This is the 4th time i have stayed at this location and it has gotten so bad and not maintained very well at all. I will not stay here again.

Ashes were left like the room didnt get cleaned or wiped down. The sheets were stained.

Nice stay at Red Roof.

Hotel was clean, but did not have breakfast as advertised. They staff was quite friendly, however, and though the area wasn't the best, my room was quiet and peaceful.

Very convenient to conference center

Check in was super easy. Desk staff allowed us to park well before checkin time as we were in town for a conference at the convention center. Room was comfortable, but definitely tired looking. All in all, it was a good place for an overnight stay. I wouldn’t book here for a San Antonio vacation though. While close to the convention center, it’s too far a walk for most downtown amusements.

Decent place to stay. Lots of homeless around. AV/Heater was old and didn’t work very good. It was priced good for the neighborhood

Roach in our room, front desk lady was rude, room smelled horrid and the air didn’t work.

Great place to stay

Great king size bed , great location. The room needed a more attention to cleaning, bed covers had stains, body hair as did the towels. Floor was dirty so was the bathroom. Other than that it was a pleasant place to sleep.

Shower water never got hot. The queen bed was more like a full size. The rest was pretty much what I expected. An average comfy room

The Bed Was Uncomfortable And Noisy, Bathroom Was Dirty Disgusting And The Shower Head Didn’t Even Work And The Other Shower Handheld Shower Head Was Leaking All Around The Edges, Refrigerator Was Not Working Properly And Smelled Bad, Bathroom Towels Were Dirty.

I was upset that I found out that I was sleeping on a queen bed with double sheets told house keeping but it wasn’t fixed. Went downstairs showed the clerk and was given queen sheets to make the bed with. Another tidbit couldn’t you at least tidy the room every 4 days instead of the 7 days of our 14 day stay!

This is the second time we stay here it’s close to everything and it is quiet.

Okay to stay for one night

Dirty this time around..

Our recent stay wasn’t the best. This is usually our go-to spot for quick trips to San Antonio because of the convenience of being close to the riverwalk and very affordable prices. However, this time wasn’t great. We chose a premium room, it did come with the complimentary snacks, but the room was dirty! There was trash under the beds, old bags left in the drawers, the shower wasn’t the cleanest, and there was expired MILK left in the fridge. Which brings me to my next point, the fridge did not work. Really disappointed in our stay this time around..

The restroom needed cleaning, shower was clogged & It's CRAZY we have to pay for parking in Red Roof Inn garage.

Night front desk agent super friendly

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bed was a bit firm, but still comfortable. Overall this met my needs.

Very dirty, fake eyelashes in the hallway for days. Towels and sheets were not clean. Staff was nice but it was a disappointing stay.

Poor service

The people " one young lady" was the worst. They said they would have a room available early and she took my number. So we went and waited. Went back in went i saw a line of cars pulling up. And she had given our room to someone else. So we had to wait another hour and a half.

The staff for the property was excellent. They were super friendly and made the check in easy. Downside was we didn’t receive any towels until the next morning at 9. Not very excited about that at all. Over all good experience.

Permanent dirt ring in the tub. Old dingy towels that was brought to us after we checked in. Charged for parking but the parking gate was always open. Seen an abandoned vehicle in the garage.

1 star tells it all

They charge you $15 per day for parking. We were given no towels in our room, and then made us come down and get them because they were too busy to bring them to us! Location though is great. Walking distance to the Alamo, Riverwalk, and Alamodome. It is a serviceable and clean hotel with a great location.

It was very busy due to the bowl football game. There is also a club across the street with loud music and close's at 2:00 am.

Comfortable

Very comfortable, beautiful view of the city.

Not sure what the guy at the front desk for the mid or night shift but I stayed from 12/20-12/21. He was great welcoming and help accommodate the people as they came in. He gave each person full attention and the lobby begin to get busy! Great person to have work the front! (sorry I forget his name!)

Great customer service

The facilities inside the room were very good. But outside the room the staff working made too much noise in the morning from very early. The area is not pleasant and the food and drink services in the area are non-existent.

I cant rate it .it would not be fair to the Red Roof Inn plus I was not able to go.my sister passed away a few hours before we were headed to San Antonio. I reserved a pay later pay at property reservation. I didn't get the extra charge to cancel since I would never of had imagined that this would happened. I was charged for the reservation as a No Show . that is the reason I cant rate the Red roof inn plus .It wont be fair to the property

Worth the money

Nasty just nasty

When I say nasty just nasty that sums it up. This hotel needs a total make over. A make over of the building and the staff that cleans this place. The front counter ppl where super friendly. Upon arrival the sheets and the towels were the only things clean in room. There was hair on floor human and animal. They were nice and let use check out a day early. We had had enough and left.

Stinks like dirty dog kennel

Hotel used to be ok. But now when you walk in some hallways like the 3rd floor stinks like a dirty dog kennel.

Worst stay ever!

Our experience was horrible! The sink would not drain, had to unplug the refrigerator because it was so loud we couldn’t sleep, saw a roach, ice machine was broke, and the remote control to the t.v. Only worked half the time. Needless to say, we won’t be back!

Close to convention center

There were no towels besides 2 small hand towels. The front desk lady, Dolores, was very sweet and helped explain parking thoroughly. The sheet was a little stained and the floors were super dusty and it was noisy at around 3am with people running around, but it was harmless fun. Definitely turn the A/C on because it gets warm at night.

Red Roof Inn, Plus - Certainly Not

Red Roof Plus... Not really. I'm giving three stars all around because our room smelled musty (pet odor) kids (teens) were staying two doors down running across the hall to another room and we're pretty rowdy most of the night and the staff didn't do anything to make peace for other guests. I went to take a shower and reached up to move the shower curtain and there was no shower curtain in the bathroom so I had to go to the front desk and get a shower curtain and put it on myself. I would not refer this location to anyone nor would I stay at this location again

No seat for the tub shower ,not handicap without the seat. Luke warm water , no Luke warm water at sink, it was shut off, facet leaked it was clean quiet. Lights didn't work at the bed phone didn't work, couldn't call front desk it's called an adventure

We enjoyed the quietness And easy parking! My faborite in staying here was the lady working the front desk to check me in! She took time to help me ! Thank you very much!

Friendly service clean

The room was clean, service was quick and friendly, and I was able to get everywhere I needed to in the area easily from this location using Lyft/Uber.

This property is conveniently located to the Riverwalk, Alamodome, eateries, entertainment district etc. The staff is very friendly & professional. The room that we stayed in was exceptionally clean & comfortable.Would definitely recommend.

The property itself is somewhat dated. Check in was easy and the front desk clerk was very nice. She upgraded our room, and the room was modern and very comfortable.

Absolutely loved the service. The room was clean. 5th floor and garage parking was a huge plus! Definitely will book here again in the near future.

Excellent service

I will say i have nothing good to say about this hotel. It was dirty, there were dead bugs in the elevator and around the hallways, when I advised the staff, I was told "better dead than alive" ha ha. No conditioner and limited shampoo, when I asked, I was told they had not received any in weeks and that's why guests should or are recommended to bring their own. Just rude all around. I was so disappointed with this stay.

No hot water so took a cold shower 3 days in a row! Very rough area. Reason it’s so cheap.
