I like the area

Convention weekend.

The room was spacious and comfortable. There was one problem with the parking, as the lot was full when it should not have been, leaving us with no where to park. The staff handled the situation satisfactorily.

Good parking. Everything else crap.

Location and parking were great. Rest of stay was terrible. Had an allergic reaction to something coming out of the filtration system that wouldnt shut off and had hives from something in one of the two beds. had to drug myself to get thru the night. Staff didnt even ask how our stay was when we checked out.

Very quite!!!

Stay was nice. Staff is on top of it knowing there was a Blue Jackets game in the afternoon so they allowed check in beginning at noon! Awesome

Everything was absolutely awesome..!!! The only BUT ..,!!! When you booked... They offered a free!! Breakfast.. but .. actually there's NO BREAKFAST AT ALL..!! like cero!!!

Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance and decently located parking.

Distance to NW Arena is excellent Near good restaurants, worth the parking across the street.

Okay Place

The hotel was okay. Very good location. Close to many places in downtown Columbus. Hotel is a little dated but solid if you are just looking for a simple place to stay. Morning coffee was a plus.

Check in was confusing. nothing was said to me unless I asked what was going on, example being charged right away for incidentals and where to park Microwave did not work. Still incredibly convenient for attending something at nationwide Arena. The room was spotless.

Clean and quiet

The hotel room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking for downtown Columbus was great, as it was right across the street from the hotel and affordable. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you have an event at Nationwide Arena.

There was a problem with our room related to the bathroom light and we discovered it around midnight. The staff got us moved into a new room on the same floor quickly and with no issue. Parking is $15/day and across the street from the hotel

Stayed for one night, everything was good. Took a bubble bath an the water was boiling hot so that was cool

The check in process took an hour. The daytime staff were not helpful of friendly. The night time staff were helpful. The parking provided was unsafe. Twelve cars had their windshields smashed and the hotel did. It help in any way.

I am a Business Owner I book rooms for my employee's all over the United States we have booked here before with no issues many times. Apparently, it has new owners and staff they are very unorganized checked my employee's out before they were suppose to while they were at work then finally got that fixed. but the day of check in did not find my reservation even though I called day prior to check on everything said it was fine did a cc auth weeks prior they could not find. also, the girl at the front desk talks over you doesn't listen and seems to be on speed or something very unprofessional I will never book here again. I am currently trying to get Folios for the rooms Can not get them

Room was very nice and large. Very clean. Went to a concert at Nationwide Arena and it was a short 2 block walk.

Handicap accessible

I stayed here for a concert that was across the street. I was supposed to have a handicap accessible room for I have really bad trouble with my knees. The shower was supposed to be a roll in but it wasn’t. I had trouble stepping in. I know the hotel was absolutely packed but I was just thrown on the 7th floor. Everything else was perfect.

The hotel was dated but very clean and the staff was welcoming, the only issue for me was the uncomfortable bed. I realize every bed and back won't be a perfect fit but this went beyond that. Half of the mattress was so worn that when laying in the middle, my body was actually on an incline. I tried making the best of it but there was no way of making it work. It took a few hours each morning before I was able to work out the kinks enough to enjoy our sightseeing. While away on vacation, you want to wake up feeling refreshed and a restful sleep is the biggest part of it. Sadly, that's not what this hotel provided.

Comfortable beds. Near the Columbus Ohio Convention Center. Everything is walkable. Nice staff.

Rooms were not even ready for 4pm check in

Took a really long time to get someone to come to the front desk. Guest services only had one person working and she was somewhere else in the building at the time. The parking across the street was fine but if you cross in the middle instead of walking the opposite way to the corner to cross there is no side walk and you are in a turn median waiting for cross traffic. If you had children with you plus bags it would be super inconvenient. The ceiling lights did not work in our room so we had to fumble around to find a light. All in all our check in experience was not great but the bed was comfy, room was quiet and the shower was good.

Very convenient location especially if attending events at Nationwide Arena. The room itself was just average and lacked what I consider minimum essentials such as soaps and wash cloths. Parking is off site as well.

We didnt have any issues with cleanliness, but we had multiple issues with the front desk, there was 3 of us staying in the room, and i arrived with one, and the other arrived soon after and I spoke to the front desk about this and they said they would give her a key card after seeing her ID and that it wouldn’t be an issue, the person never put it in the system and didn’t tell anyone when she left so I then had to come back and show my ID to check in my friend, after this the gentleman working the front desk named Baul said he needed to make us all new key cards since we were adding one; we had this done and I took one and so did my friend, the third one staying with us was out at dinner, and Baul said he would hold her key card for her and we left her name and we were told there would be no issues, when my friend returned at night I was asleep and so was my other friend, she went to the front desk and said she needed her key card and that they had her info, the same gentleman that we made sure had the key card told her he didn’t know what she was talking about and wouldn’t give her the card, luckily I heard my phone vibrating and woke up,and let her in the room, we were super angry and this point because this is now the second issue we had with him, the next morning my friend went and spoke with the front desk and said we needed her card, they said they had no idea what we were talking about and made ANOTHER set of key cards for us, unable to type anything else due tospace

Room wasn’t super clean but it was affordable. Couldn’t get towels due to the hotel being sold out and guests hoarding them. For note: you could see spilt stuff on the walls and tables, it just needed a good wipe down furniture wise.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous time but not in the last year or two. No longer has a breakfast, just coffee. Noone who works there is a native English speaker. It has changed.

Perfect place for a night after an event at the arena!

Room is fairly clean but check in process was extremely slow and not given directions. Vending machines not filled even to half capacity. Only 4 extremely flat pillows but otherwise fine. It was close to venue and room was clean.

There was an odor in the room but everything worked and it was clean. Only vending machines with unhealthy choices for snacks. First attempt at a room key did not work and maybe it was occupied?? They got me a different room.

Great for downtown events!

The premises were clean. No shuttle service to and from the airport. No breakfast dining services.

There wasn’t one tea bag in the whole place!, only coffee. Even though the room was clean, the towels were very tired, O/W all good.

If you just need a place to crash when not out all day, then it works. No gym, paid parking $15 a day across the street with no distinct walk way to cross the road back to hotel. Facet was coming off the wall in shower. It was clean and the staff was very friendly

The staff was very helpful. The property is in need of a massive cleaning. We had to move rooms due to a persistent sewage smell. The carpets in both rooms felt sticky and moist causing us to wear shoes at all times. Towel shortage, hair in the shower. I think they just need more support from management, the staff was a pleasure to work with. The facility just needs some help

A pleasant hotel

We would have preferred to have breakfast offered on the premises. The room service option was incredibly expensive, and we will certainly not use that option again. The staff were nice and helpful, and the room clean and quiet.

Parking wasn't easy

Me and my kids stayed to get away for the weekend and they had a good time and loved the scenery outside when we went on walks

Paul at the front desk was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and it’s in a great location. Very walkable to many restaurants and activities. I would stay there again.

The staff at the front desk, JJ, was excellent. He explained where to park, how the pricing worked, and how ot access housekeeping. Our room was much bigger than we were expecting. Thank you!

Not what it used to be. I've been staying here on trips to Columbus for over 20 yrs. Breakfast was always an attractive feature - gone. Service was always prompt and attentive - now you wait for surly and uninformed limited staff. Parking lot was occupied by trailers taking multiple spaces, so at 1am, I had to back all the way out of the lot with no way to turn around, luckily not hitting anything. Management needs to step it up! Limited TV with ton of sports, but no TCM. Each attractive feature is disappearing.

The walls are thin and it was obvious that that the romantic couple next door were enjoying themselves. If at all possible, guests should be spread out to avoid this embarrassment.

We came for fencing competition. It’s a safe area to walk and very close to convention center. The rooms and overall stay is OK. But value for money.

The hotel smells very bad

I booked 2 nights for this hotel, but when I checked in and went to the room. It smells very bad and not clean. My wife has very sensitive smelling. She couldn't stay longer in this hotel. We decided to checked out right the way. The hotel still charged one night for we didn't stay. Overall, the whole building smells very bad. Highly not recommend to stay in this hotel.

Conveniently located in downtown Columbus. Walkable to all downtown sites. Downside is that gym is a couple of blocks away but a wonderfully equipped gym.

We always stay here on our first over night stop when traveling cross country. The location, service, and property are fantastic. Our room was a little less cleanly, and the bedding less comfortable, than is typical. That said, usually a very good stay for the price.

The hotel is older and needs some upkeep. 50/50 chances of getting a decent front counter attendant.

This hotel offered a convenient location, just steps away from the convention center. However, the property seemed due for some renovations. The bathroom: Unfortunately, the shower leaked, requiring us to use towels to manage the water. Climate control: The AC unit struggled to cool the room effectively and had a musty odor. Additionally, the lobby felt quite warm, with a large fan drawing in hot outside air. Sleeping comfort: Thankfully, the beds were comfortable for a good night's rest. Overall, while the location was excellent, some aspects of the hotel could benefit from upgrades for a more comfortable stay.

Super hot in lobby, more so feel bad for the workers. Front desk was very kind!

A very convenient place to stay for conventions

This hotel is very good if you are going to the Columbus Convention Center. Very short walk. The staff were very friendly. Good wifi. Parking is just across the street. I only stayed 1 night but was clean and comfortable. AC unit was a bit loud at times but nothing too bad.

Inexpensive, nice place to stay

We wanted an inexpensive place near the convention center and it was great just a basic room, tons of stuff to see and eat nearby. The staff was great. Highly recommended.

Never cleaned room the entire week, requested they clean it and still did not happen. Hotel is dirty and feels real dirty. Towels were never given and inspite setting them outside door as requested never recieved new ones and had to go fetch in morning or night. Ac in hallways throught was nonexistent in mid June and 93 degrees outside Bed made back hurt and never had back issues any where or any other time Final night on Sunday none of keys worked to get in room (reset them?) Had to go back down and get new keys

There was trash all over the hallway floors and our room had no towels. They put us in the wrong room at first, so they made us move, which is no small feat for a family with a toddler and a baby. Then they kicked us out of the second room to send maintenance folks in for the AC which was working just fine.

There was no air conditioning in the main building and hallways. Theres no handicap accessible parking, had to park across the street with no crosswalk.

Go location

I didn’t like how parking is across like 4 lanes of traffic. When we got there the system was down and they air was, too. Then only 1 elevator worked. The back entrance also didn’t work. They had employees walking to give water and an industrial fan. It was a huge concert so a very long line. It took us almost an hour to get checked it. The room was spacious and the air was fine. I didn’t think it had a smell as some reviews mentioned but the rooms are a bit outdated and need some TLC. This facility was redeeming for Red Roof considering previous Red Roof we stayed in for another concert getaway but not enough for me to not splurge next time around on somewhere a bit more modern/pricey.

They were extremely busy when we went to check in, but they were still very professional and got us checked in as quickly as they could.

I did not like that the property did not provide continental breakfast, and we had to pay for parking, which was across the street. The hotel was clean and quiet. The hotel was within walking distance from the National Arena Stadium and other restaurants and bars.

It was alright, and you didn’t have to pay $15.00 dollar for parking. And should had free breakfast food to eat. Better station on the TV.
