Nice place for an overnight stay.

Towels were dirty (stained) and had a funky smell. Bathroom was moldy as seen from the tiles. Faucet was hard to open. Wall contril for the aircon only shows 20 degC as max so coldness cannot be controlled. Room smells of smoke and bathroom when i first entered...had to request a change of towel at Front Desk.

Clean room and beddings, I had comfortable stay in here, the staff are kind and helpful to my needs.

I had a great stay at this hotel with 24/7 security manning the premises and above all, helpful front desk staff who are happy and helpful assisting you with all your needs. The room is generally clean and comfortable. Additionally, the double room I stayed in had a fan which was a great option since I feel sick sleeping with the aircon on. The towels and the sheets may need an upgrade but are still okayish. In terms of value to price ratio, this is an excellent hotel especially for longer stays. If you need a simple and straightforward place to sleep in, this is an excellent hotel since it's close to my mother's place.

I only booked this property because of a super deal that popped up on Expedia. It was so good that next time we stay in the area we'll book here without even looking at other hotels. Overall, it was great. Everything worked as it should in the room. The room was clean and adequate for travelers just staying a night or two. Parking was easy. Being well located in Timog, there were a ton of nearby restaurant choices. Highly recommended for the overnight traveller.

Poor ventilation. The room stayed wet...moisture on the walls and floors. Poor shower design. Unable to access wi-fi in the guest room.

No refrigerador in the room, no desk and no table. The wifi didn’t work.

A no frills hotel. Small but clean and comfortable rooms. AC works great and plenty of hot water. Many dining options within walking distance. Every single staff member was accommodating and over the top friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This is a modest and safe hotel at a good location.

It was a pleasant stay. The hotel is okay, closed to shops, dining and accessible to public transportation with less road congestion. Staff are very accommodating, considerate and friendly. Hotel is clean, all were in a working condition. The only discomfort was, no telephone in the rooms, and rooms were so small. And also the misleading advertisement for a free parking, while in fact, there were limited parking spaces. Services on a first come first served basis. There is a private parking beside the hotel, serving as an overflow parking area with a fee of 100 pesos. Not bad anyways. Otherwise, the all over stay was great. Thank you Red Planet Hotel staff for your service.

Nice Staff and Comfortable Bed

Local area is nice except for clubs that stay open late at night and play loud music to the early morning hours. Be prepared to hear loud music while you’re trying to sleep.

I like the location accessible through public transportation. Nice and clean. Staffs are friendly and service with a smile. The only thing I notice is missing is shower mat. The shower floor is slippery in order to avoid an toward incident.

The internet so bad keep on and off Bed so noisy and don’t feel good.

So much problems during my stay here. AC was dripping water so I had to move room which is okay but the maintance person didn’t smile and have a face that looked like I’m bothering him which made me feel bad. Moved to room 402 which was so noisy at night with keeps and motorcycle noise by the main road. Shower pressure by far is the worst compared to all red planet hotels. The sink and shower pipe is clogged and water find it hard to go away. The soap button is broken and pops out when you push for soap. The room have a foul smell. NEVER again will I stay here EVER again at this location unless there is some sort of big discount. This experience ruined my future continuous stay at this location. Sorry

A friend of mine booked a room for me but it was under her name. Even though I provided full details the front desk would not let me check in to that room. They said they needed authorization from original Booker despite telling them that my friend is overseas at this point. Ended up having to pay for a room all over again as I wanted to sleep after an overnight flight and the front desk wouldn't listen to reasoning etc. And the other booking - since it was a non refundable booking and my friend wasn't in town, that's money they've made without providing the service. Extremely poor customer service and not what you'd expect from a hotel chain. I've booked with Red Planet Hotels before but they are not getting my business in the future.

Restful Stay

We had a restful stay Red Planet Timog . What I like about this hotel is their friendly staff and the 7/11 store beside it. It is very convenient. We just boyght our breakfast & lunch at 7/11. The hotel is located in a very busy street and traffic is terrible at times. Their parking is very small and quite a challenge for maneuvers.

I stayed at Red Planet a few times before and they have maintained their cleanliness, very nice staff, and overall good service. Very good value for the price. Would definitely recommend.

The front desk was very helpful, particularly Ira. The rest of the staff were responsive as well. The room was clean and well maintained. This place does not have a phone in the room and you have to use the floor phone by the elevator to call the front desk. Most of the communication is done through through it’s mobile app, which is fine if one has a smartphone or tablet. The doors have the round door knobs instead of the lever handles which is an issue for people who have weak wrists. The room also does not have a clock. In spite of the mentioned shortcomings, this is an excellent hotel.

First time staying at this hotel. This is a no frills kind of hotel. You're just provided the basic stuff. You have to go down to the lobby to pick up your guest/s since you have to use your room key to activate the elevator which can be annoying at times. The room was small but clean. Service was good. For some reason I could not not regulate the AC in the room. There was only a high and a low and nothing in between. I had to turn it off when it gets to be too cold and then turn it back again when it starts to get warm. The water from the shower tends to flood the bathroom so I had to use towels to absorb the water and prevent the bathroom from flooding.

Perfect Location

Considering the Red Planet on Timog is a 2 star hotel, the service and staff have a level of care some 4-5 star hotels would struggle to match. Rooms are cleaned daily and is close to most of the nightlife scene of Quezon City.

Hi it was very good except for the car park that it was one of the reason I chooses it. I think you need to provide more parking or maybe stop non residents to park there otherwise we like it and happy to stay there again and again. Thank you all.

Affordable and comfortable

Though they offer only basic accommodations, their room is clean and bed is comfortable and price is affordable. Stayed five days. I wished they have coffee maker or electric pot for water for my morning coffee. But there is 7-11 store next door of the hotel. Also plenty of restaurants in the area. Staffs are helpful and courteous.

A weekend at Red Planet Hotel Timog

Staying at Red Planet Hotel Timog is like staying home. You will be greeted by a very helpful and smiling security at the door and at the front desk you will be greeted by a very accommodating and approachable staff. The rooms are very clean, and internet speed is fast.

Most of The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the intdrnet kept going down.

Not good for a family to stay

The parking guard is not attentive. I've been waiting for 10 to 15min at the driveway to be assisted. I have to call the attention of lobby guard for me to be assisted. Then, the lobby guard called the parking guard. The room is clean. However, there's no phone inside the room and no bottled water available.

Annoying hassle to prove who I am. Nothing but a passport will suffice contrary to absolutely every other hotel I've ever been at, where they would of course accept my driver's license. Other than that, ok hotel with the best shower.

Stayed here for one week. It is an exe cent budget hotel. Great location with plenty of dining choices nearby. easy to get a grab/uber here. The MRT stop is within walking distance.

The hotel was great, as always. The only issue we had was the small number of parking spaces. However, we would like to commend the valet for being trustworthy, as we realized we left our money in our car in plain view, and everything was accounted for when we got our car back. Great hotel + amazing valet = 😄😄😄

Although there is no extra peripheral like pool, gym even dining room, I still enjoy in their kind counter service, clear room. BTW, their place is good for reaching customers in Quezon City. I think I will book their room while visit my customer again.

I was very unhappy with my check-in because they couldn’t find my booking. They made me pay p2,000 just so they can check me in and they wouldn’t even let me do it by credit card.

Thieves Stole Expensive Item In Hotel Room

My wife stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, which were one of the worst nights she had at any hotel. What happened was somebody stole her sunglasses inside her room, which were very expensive costing over P20,000. The only other people who entered the room was maid service personnel, who I suspect stole it. I brought this up with management and they said they have reviewed their CCTV cameras and checked the lockers of maid service and they did not find the sunglasses or identify the thief or thieves who stole it. This situation was a big disappointment because I gave those sunglasses to my wife as a gift. My wife has stayed at numerous hotels over the years all over the country and around the world and never had anything stolen until now. We will make sure to secure our belongings every time we stay at any hotel. But definitely we will stay away from this Red Planet hotel since it is not safe because there are thieves among the maid service personnel. I do not recommend staying at this hotel at all. There are plenty of other hotels out there that are safer where personal items will not be stolen. It's just not worth the risk staying at Red Planet Hotel and I recommend everybody to stay away and find a better hotel.
