Great place, nice facilities, excellent service.

The condition of this property is poor, the pool area is clean and the inside of the hotel needs repairs, everything is very old. The windows need cleaning. The fuses in our room went out and we were without electricity. In general, it is noticeable that the management does not want to spend an extra cent. The location is good. There is also no roof at the entrance, if it rains you get wet.

El termotanque de la habitación era chico por lo que no salía agua caliente para 4 personas. El baño se mojaba todo porque tenía una cortina de muy mala calidad. No pasaron a realizar la limpieza. El desayuno era malo.

Nice location facing the river. Not convenient for those who want to visit the historical sites near the center of the city.

I have been to the hotel many times. Good value for money. But the maintenance of the facilities is not good and the cleaning of the air conditioning filters in the room is almost always conspicuous by its absence

The manager named Leo was great. Very helpful I didn’t like the service at the bar, breakfast.

Not worth the price unfortunately in our case. Had called a few days prior to asure there was a crib for our baby. It wasn´t ready and had to be found(luckily the team did eventually). Just did not feel it was worth the price. Also, there was a lot of noise the entire night. It was as if there was no windows at some times. Not good with a baby. We stayed the next day in the old town for less money in a nicer hotel. Will not recommend, nor come back.

Great location

Positive experience all around. Very close walk to ATMS, the waterfront, restaurants and shops, etc. Host was very excellent and spoke very good English. Breakfast available as well. Would stay here again. Very short drive from Old Colonia, and honestly could be walked to.

Tuve una muy mala experiencia con el staff del hotel y su total falta de empatía y habilidad de cuidar al cliente. El gimnasio no se puede usar antes de las 8 de la mañana por “política” (aunque la información no consta en ninguna lado en el hotel), así que me denegaron mi solicitud de acceder antes ya que tenía que trabajar y me iba del hotel a las 7:30. Una pena, el gimnasio estaba ahí, los empleados también. Pero órdenes son órdenes. Yo solo quería hacer ejercicio antes de empezar mi día de trabajo, es lamentable que la “política” de la empresa denegue al huéspede un servio tan básico que no les cuesta nada.

Espectacular estadía, excelente ubicación frente al río. Piscina climatizada con vista a la puesta del sol. Próximo a la ciudad antigua y a la plaza de toros. Desayuno con productos caseros de la zona, quesos y dulces. Todo perfecto, recomendable.

Overpriced

Overpriced !!! We mentioned to our taxi driver we don’t understand the ratings and he said probably because lots of friends and family go and leave good rating. We booked a room for 2 people and we got an apartment, with the couch prepared for sleeping like we were 4. Even more so the couch was worn out and the leather starting to peel. Toilet was leaking. Pillows one of the worse pillow ever. The girl from reception was so unfriendly and not helpful at all. I would never go back. I thought it was a really good hotel for the price but you get the same or even better in town for less money.

The hotel is nice, close to downtown. The desk staff give us wrong information about the use of the swimming pool. The staff in charge of maintain the room do not let new shampoo, cream and soap for the second day.

We wanted a few days rest and this is what we got, great place. Close enough to town to walk but near the beach and a great pool to relax by.

Nice modern apartment hotel but noisy road

Clean modern apartment hotel with good facilities, the heated indoor pool was great for our 3 yr old as it rained when we were there. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the road outside so we wished we'd brought earplugs. Cold buffet breakfast was OK and relaxed staff let us swim after checkout and use the gym showers. Cost about $4 in a cab for each trip to the centre which could mount up.

Nice and Quiet

It is a nice hotel for family with pool. We only spent one night. The room was small but OK. Nothing much close by. But nice and quiet with nice hotel staff.

Great pool but had not drink service. Pool closes early and have little shade. The parking lot had no availability.

pleasant stay for the weekend

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly. Hotel didn't have tennis court as the description said and restaurant was nothing fancy but otherwise we have nothing negative to say.

Excellent staff and service

My wife and I truly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Our room was very clean with excellent maid service. There was an adequate fitness center. The outdoor pool was very refreshing and well maintained. Desk service staff gave us good recommendations for restaurants. The one possible drawback of this hotel is that it is about 1-2 mile walk along La Rambla to the old town.

Nice outdoor pool, lukewarm hospitality

This place was OK, albeit a little expensive given the quality of the furniture and the impersonal nature of the welcome. My room had not been cleaned properly (especially the toilet), which is a big turn off for me. Internet keeps logging you off, really annoying. Comfortable bed but the A/C unit blows right on your head. Really good soundproofing in the rooms. Amazing outdoor pool with gorgeous view and decent breakfast (but once again, the service is lukewarm at best). Could be so much nicer if staff got proper training.

Great pool and view of Buenos Airies

W e had a nice stay, the weather was humid and hot then stormy .they had a great staff friendly helpful.

Good value for Colonia.

We stayed here overnight with two children and grandparents before taking the Buquebus (ferry) to Buenos Aires for a long weekend. Spent half a day touring the old town. Parked our car across from the ferry terminal for 150 pesos ($7)/day. BTW, in Uruguay you can change dollars for Argentine pesos legally at the higher "blue dollar" rate offered on the street in BA. Do so and save yourself the trouble of dealing with the black market.

Great hotel

The room was a little expensive for one so small but it was clean and well maintained. The pool was beautiful and breakfast was included. The hotel is across the street from a very nice river beach but a little over a mile to the historic section of colonia.

Great hotel for the price

It seems that the hotel opened a couple of months ago, because most of the service are clueless about all the hotel services. Nevertheless they try to be as helpful as possible. Breakfast was good, clean room, very nice pool with a view to the river. They should serve food and drinks by the pool.

Nice hotel, very noisy main road

If you have a room facing the main road you need earplugs to be able to sleep. Otherwise nice hotel. Friendly staff.

Skip it

The first room we were given was in an entirely different building and accessed through a parking garage. I am not sure that anyone had ever stayed in the room. It didn't have a garbage and the bedrooms windows were hung so badly that the window could not be closed. We asked to be moved and were moved into the main hotel building. The next room was similar, but finished. It would appear that all of the lamps had been purchased in Argentina and the plugs wouldn't fit in the wall, so we had to use only the overhead lights, not that big of a deal, but not very pleasant to be reading by fluorescent lights at night. The restaurant had pretty bad quality food and when we asked if there was anywhere else nearby we could go, we were told no. Colonia itself is lovely, but, quite honestly, I think we would have enjoyed our stay more if we had stayed elsewhere. We felt it was pretty poor value for what we paid.

Great, clean, modern hotel on the beach

Clean, comfortable suites with kitchenettes. Great for families and for longer-term stays. Easy access to beach. A bit of a walk to town, about 2 kms. Indoor and outdoor pools are well maintained, as well as other facilities. Breakfast is not included for the suites because they include kitchens, which was a surprise to us. Overall we had a really enjoyable, comfortable stay.

Excellent Location!

I loved the location of this hotel, right across the road from a fabulous local beach! It was relaxing, clean, and safe. Outside of the downtown/old Colonia area and away from the port. I enjoyed being out of the high tourist area and thought the walk into town was fabulous! Taxis are also incredibly cheap. The reception staff went out of their way to ensure that I was taken care of and also spoke excellent english! I would go back :)

Estuvimos cómodos, no usamos alberca. La habitación bien. Solo el baño que se salpicaba mucho al ducharse. El desayuno regular, pediría más variedad, el huevo que ponían todos los días sin sabor, sin sal y muy aguado. Las frutas, Panes y queso con jamón salvaban. Pero si te quedas más de tres días.

O CHECK OUT : Após longa espera na fila , a recepcionista iniciou o meu atendimento sem olhar pra gente e sem dar bom dia rs. Todos os outros atendentes por aqui quando percebem que somos brasileiros falam mais devagar para se fazer compreender. Despreparo completo da atendente. Demoramos 30 min para conseguir sair do hotel ( considerando baixa temporada e pagar o lanche dá véspera). Passou o cartão de débito em Dólar americano sem perguntar a nossa opção, afinal estamos no Uruguai… mais atraso por erro no cartão. Uma pena porque a estrutura física é boa.

Boa localização, beira mar, hotel requer cuidados, manutenção nos elevadores, janelas, banheiros.

POR SO SOL MAGNIFICO !

Adoramos esse hotel , super confortável, uma vantagem unica é a piscina , fica bem de frente para um por do sol magnifico ! Fica a uns 1.000m do centro histórico, da para fazer uma caminhada bem agradavel pela rambla ou pode ir de carro , tem bastante lugar para estacionar no centro historico. Cafe da manha bem legal , bastante opções. Super recomendo .

Desayuno estupendo, preciosa la vista al rio desde la habitacion! El estado del mobiliario no es ideal, bidet con perdida y ducha que se inundaba rapidamente. Pero fuera de eso muy linda. Me hubiera encantado que la piscina no fuera tan poco tiempo y siempre compartida pero pasamos una preciosa noche. El staff muy amable!

Mi experiencia no fue tan buena. Durante mi estadía todo fue bien .pero al rerirarme olvidé mis documentos ,enseguida llame para pedir que me los enviarán, ( obviamente que los costos correrian por mi cienta) y desde el hotel se negaron a enviarmelos. Tuve que contratar un gestor para que me los retirara del mismo. Yo no se si es política de todos los hoteles, pero la verdad que solucionarian mucho al huésped si hicieran la gestión de envío. Más allá que fue un olvidó mio. Así que traten de no olvidar nada

Precioso hotel en la rambla de Colonia. Buen y amplio desayuno, ameno el personal. La única contra es que cobren para estacionar el auto en el garage.

Hotel básico, funcional sem luxos.

Boa localização, atende bem se você quer apenas um local para ficar e fazer turismo nos arredores. Precisa de atenção na manutenção, como por exemplo o revestimento da cabeceira da cama tinha um rasgo.

Fila gigante para o check-in, funcionários descorteses, não atendiam na sequencia da fila, lerdos, exigiam deposito de caução, mesmo com a diária paga.....

Me gusto la zona de la pileta el parque y los juegos de niños... no me gusto que en la habitación habían black aut que no estaban bien colocados o no eran lo suficientemente grandes para oscurecer los ambientes por lo que apenas amaneció entró muchísima luz además la cama matrimonial era demasiado pequeña
