nice place to stay

The Ramada is a fairly new hotel. It is nice and clean, with all the facilites which one needs for a comfortabe stay , kitchnet, washingmachien/ drier etc. For me it is a little sterile !

Apartment was a very pleasant placecto stay for 2 nights. Did not make any meals in the room.big negative. Tekevision randomly came on at full volume. Y itself. When it came on at 2 57bam I didnt get babk to sleep.

The staff here are friendly, polite and service orientated. The apartment was large and ver clean. There are excellent Dining choices close by and a great shopping centre and restaurants 15 minutes walk away. A great three day beak for us.

Nice room in a handy location. Opposite Alabny bus station.

Good all round place to stay

Excellent value for money, great friendly service from all staff. Great location, clean tidy and everything you need. Love that they've added coffee machine onsite and good vending machine.

Comfortable rooms, location close to a mall and transport hub. Front desk closes at 6pm at weekends. Room a good size and clean with microwave. Great price considering it was New Years Eve.

Have stayed here before on ooening week 6 or 7 years ago so booked again. Unfortuantely the 2 bedroom apartment we had smelt extremely damp and musty (room 316). No opening windows so nothing we coukd do about it.so just put ip with it. High tiuch areas like light switches, fridge etc hadnt been cleaned. Staff were wonderful and after hiurs access on public holiday great. Linen etc was clean as were publix areas. Probably wouldn't stay again unless cleaner and the musty eater smell fixed.

Counter Staff was helpful. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. One downside is the noise from outside - every now and then we would hear the racers go past the hotel. Other than that, the stay was good.

Had an issue with 1st Room as aircon was not working, so after we gave it a chance, I was moved to another room where Aircon worked Good Stay

Nice room but noisy

We had a one bedroom apartment. The room was lovely and spacious, enough room for the two of us. However the extractor fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy & it didnt turn off until about 15 mins after we turned the light off. The drier was also very loud, never known a drier to be so loud. Apart from the noise, it was a good stay and walking distance to Westfield and restaurants.

Comfy bed, great water pressure for the shower

Room facilities were great. Good location and great food options nearby. The only slight downside was the vague chemical cleaning smell in the corridors. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The property was not far from the conference we were going to at City Impact Church. The room was so clean and we had no noise problem with other customers.

Surrounded by delicious restaurants and walking distance to other places. Apartment was clean and tidy and staff were super friendly.

Great location, good price, especially with Parking included. Area has a lot of food options but heavily biased towards Asian food. Room was spacious but no desk, only a relatively small table.

Thought I would cook a nice meal…… think again….. frypan had food still in it from god knows when…… prompt to replace but still….. should never happen

Great customer service. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. Room was very clean and well organized

The shower required attention in our room as it was very mouldy. As a paying guest this is just not acceptable. Everything else was fine.

Overall I like this hotel however on this instance late check in was challenging with the intercom not working and then some communication issues. Probably would have been easier to communicate via text or email lock box code to enable check in.

Very good location for shopping and dining at Westfield Albany. Good public transport and motorway links. The only slight negative for us is that Ramada properties have wall mounted toiletriy bottles in the bathroom and shower. It would n far easier to use a pump action as it is very difficult to squeeze with 2 hands and catch the fluid. My wife has an issue with one hand which means she dannot squeeze the bottles. We now take our own small siaps when we use Ramada which is a hassle to always remember. Please consider a pump action.

The property is well kept and the staff were great. The surrounding area is a bit average but a better food offer was only a couple of blocks away. As a functional place to stay overnight or two this property is fine. No swimming pool, gym or cafe just a comfy room for the night, so if thats all you need this property ticks all the boxes.

Everything was good and clean, just it's better to have more cutlery and kitchenware and also to have hand wash dishes sponge. Hotel needed at least one normal restaurant, all around the hotel was specific restaurant.

Property is very close to motorway but very little noise

I found it safe clean and had everything I needed. The staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was great all and all I recommend this place for a pleasant stay. Five stars.

Very handy to everything

Although the hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant, there are tonnes of really nice eatery or fast food options literally right outside the front door. Only very minor thing was that the TV in our room didn't have Chromecast, but the handbook indicated it did/should, which would have been nice to be able to cast Netflix from a small device to the TV. Very friendly staff - even the cleaners! Enjoyed our stay, would go again.

This was the worst room I’ve had in my 3 or 4 stays here. The tv is faulty with a pink hue, the bedroom light switch was missing a cover and the hairdryer that you gave to press is barely usable for guests with weak hands or forearms. It is not worth the gimmick.

I had a great stay at the Ramada. The staff were very friendly, and my room was super clean. I had everything I needed, and there were plenty of dining options close by.

All excellent, washer and dryer in room too. Enjoyed a meal at Mr Charcoal underneath the hotel . Wouldn’t hesitate to return, highly recommend.

The room was passable for a 1 night stay. However the room felt negleted. The walls were marked. The rubbish bin lid was broken. The shower was dirty and mouldy and the shower hose was missing parts. These are easy fixes but does require some attention to detail. We have stayed here twice and both times have experienced the same standard which is disappointing.

Awesome albany

Front counter staff were awesome. Hotel itself was ok, haven't had a single bed for many years but room was spacious. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss and did not like the amount of smelly air freshener, too much made you wonder what smell they were trying to hide.

We just felt comfortable and we slept well - comfy bed and efficient air conditioning 😊

4th stay and never disappoints

Ramada Albany offers a good standard of accommodation for those visiting or working in the Albany area. The rooms are of a good size, clean, bed was super comfortable, shower was ok. The only downside was the boy racers driving up and down the hotels road until 2 am, on a Saturday night. I’m sure it’s quieter during the week.

Not the usual Ramada standard as housekeeping wasn’t very good, only one towel, no sink or bathroom plug, one dinner plate, and the room needed a good clean, lots of dust. We have always enjoyed our stay at the Ramada but this trip was somewhat disappointing.

We always stay here when we go to Auckland. Very clean and very convenient. Easy to work with the staff. Only problem is they only have 1 luggage cart. This caused us a delay.

Very good overall. Well kept, everything wanted. Clean, nice staff. Only one negative thing was the wifi coverage in our apartment was terrible. Might just have been because we were in the corner, but not sure?

Very good base gor a dhort break. Only a couple of suggrstions. Please have an obvious sign saying that parking is allowed anywhere in the carpark as theee are warning signs aabout improper parking on tge car park. The room.nenu could do with an update as it still shows that Sky movies are available.

Room was clean and tidy and nice and modern. Easy parking and easy access to motorways and the nearby mall.

Did not like the noise from the 'Bus' Parking area by " Boy Racers" .....EG: we were there on the weekend with a relatively empty 'carpark' ..... we understand that this is commonplace activity.

I loved everything especially the washer dryer.

Very close to public transport approx 5min wal. Practically across road. Close to motorway and shpping mall which is also a walkable distance.

Always a good stay

The room itself was excellent, especially the in-room washer & dryer; and the staff tried to be very helpful. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by a very bad internet system that continually dropped out or had such weak signal in our room that we could not do anything on our computer or on or phones via wifi.

Nice enough hotel, quiet, relaxing and good amenities.

Very comfortable room with kitchenette and in-suite laundry facilities. Free parking and inexpensive restaurant options in the same block. Easy to find and close to lovely beaches.
