Great service, great facilities, great location next to Juhu beach and local eateries.

Right next to Juhu Chowpatty beach ( which is overwhelmingly crowded and dirty) but good dining options in and around the hotel.

The rooms are very old, the staff some are nice the breakfast restaurant is too small and need a makeover

Wifi wasn’t good

The staff did their best. The property is old n it shows. We had good service. The pool was closed. We had to go around through a locked gate to access the beach which was public beach n we had to deal with beggars n sellers n garbage n dirt. There should be more effort made to clean up the area since the Ramada is the first hotel (or last) before the chopati. We were reluctant to go out to the beach after a couple tries.

The property needs updating - bathroom have doors that not close, shower doors do not close and mold

I asked to speak to the sales team so i can sign a corporate contract and get a good deal. The person who spoke to me - Mr Salil. He was very rude and felt he was doing me a favor. I decided not to go ahead. What a pity.

Lovely location and excellent hotel and staff

Great location - sunset from the window of even a partial sea facing window is amazing!

Very nearly worth a 5star rating. The room was clean, the service was very good. But the whole thing just felt a little tired. But it hit the spot for me. It was lovely to have excellent service and to drink a nice cold beer at the end of a busy day. Don't have high expectations of the beach - it did not feel safe for me.

The Ramada Plaza is a nice hotel right next to Juhu beach. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is nice and varied. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Juhu this is a good option

The area around the prosperity is unclean, full of beggars living all around the beach. Very dirty and unsafe if you want to walk outside or on the beach. The Hotel hallways on the floors are tired and theyrooms smell stuffy. Hotel could use renovations for the price we pay for the rooms. However, staff was really great!!

The location is good, the staff is courteous. The rooms are good, but need renovation. It did not feel like a 5 star establishment. Breakfast buffet staff was good, but it was too crowded. It seems there were too many people in a room. I literally saw 5 people in a room with extra beds, but it makes the breakfast area too crowded. I did get value for money. The staff is excellent and courteous.

A return to paradise by the sea

As per usual I was very impressed by my recent stay at my favourite hotel. Ramada has some of the best hospitality of any hotel of the size, location and rates on the Juhu area. The staff, from the reception team to the hygiene and upkeep crew are friendly, polite and helpful. Of course, the food and drinks department managers, are always happy to help you to ensure that your needs are satisfied. A drink by the swimming pool is a joy I still remember with nostalgia. Highly recommended for everyone, regardless of the occasions, celebrate them here at Ramada by the sea.

Don’t bother!

I would not recommend this place. It’s advertised as 5 stars hotel but it barely qualifies for 3. There is s smell of mould around the hotel, it’s outdated severely, the A/C on the corridor doesn’t work.

Excellent stay at Ramada Plaza, Juhu. Noisy neighbours next door but besides would definitely recommend.

Reception staf is not polite and this place what you see in pics it not even close to that. Guest can not even can visit you in the room.

Very nice end to our trip around India, the only negative was it was definitely not quiet until after midnight outside the hotel. Other than that fantastic

Juhu Beach Location

Typical old school American style large hotel. Super staff and very comfortable, although some updating needed. Pool furniture somewhat tatty. Food good and service very attentive. Helpful travel desk. May have been a 5 star back in the day, but not now!

A clean hotel and staff were very accommodating

Good location on the beach. Very courteous and friendly service by the staff at dining, housekeeping and baggage services Only complaint is that we got charged more than the rate quoted on our booking, as hotel took a commission on dollar rate so we ended up paying interest. They should have warned us about this before they effected payment on my card as I would have paid by INR instead of CAD. Other than that no complaints.

Lovely hotel but..

Overall the hotel is lovely and in a great location, very close to Juhu Beach. Service and cleanliness was generally very good. Couple of down sides - hotel charged us for tea as our flight was very early even though it included breakfast! The breakfast area is narrow in places causing accidents. That said it was a good stay.

Amazing experience

Amazing experience. Beach and street food stalls within stone throws distance. Great breakfast options. Great gym, jacuzzi and steam room. If come to Mumbai again I would stay here again. Whilst not modern design, functional requirements all good.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Poolside area needed more wait staff and cleanup should have been done without prompting. The hotel driver, Mr. Santosh Mishra was excellant and very proactive when taking us to the airport for check in. Didn’t just drop us off but made sure we entered safely. Would recommend this hotel as a layover hotel. Remember you are in Mumbai on a local beach.

Easy and fast checkin, good breakfast, convenient location.

Hotel is right next to Juhu Beach with all the hustle and bustle. Friendly staff from the door to the cleaners and all in between. Would definately come again.

This visit was for my son’s wedding shopping. The stay at Ramada was beyond imagination. The staffs were very courteous helpful and friendly. The management is approachable and alway checking to make sure the stay is an enjoyable one. The housekeepers are very friendly and helpful, cleanliness is to the par and we as guests are being looked after really well. A hotel I will recommend to everyone.

Showers are not warm enough and keep switching off and only have a rain head so hair keeps getting wet. Access to the beach is a plus and location is convenient from the airport. Staff are friendly and very helpful and it feels safe. Mosquitos in the room and some bad odor intermittently Hotel feels a little worn and needs updating

Poor service

We had a 3 night stay at this hotel. The experience was not so good. Staff were not helpful from reception to housekeeping. No direct number to call reception or housekeeping. Everytime we had to call an operator to transfer the call. And sometimes the operator would not answer. Once I even had to call the outside number of the hotel asking them to transfer to housekeeping. And at the time of check out they tried to charge us for this call as a STD call! One thing that annoyed the most was the hotel policy to allow 3 devices per toom to be connected to wifi. Our booking was for three people and we had three smartphones. The moment we tried to connect one laptop, it didn't work. So we had to call reception evertyime to reset the devices and choose the most important three. We mentioned this to the hotel staff but they only referred to the hotel policy.

Great stay and overall service! It is in the close proximity to restaurants, beach, shopping etc. thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the hotel!

We have made many visit to the hotel, never disappointed. Our room was cleaned by Devindra who was always helpful, great guy. Breakfast choice was good & all the staff went out of their way to be helpful. We will be coming back in the future visit.

Great location, friendly staff. Can get transport from the hotel or just outside the gates of the hotel. Breakfast lacking abit of variety compared to other hotels in the area. Reatraunt decor seems abit tired, however it is clean. Rooms are cleaned regularly, however again abit tired. Overall great experience for the 4 nights in mumbai.

We booked a deluxe suite, the property is outdated and most definitely not 5 star. However, our views were amazing. Staff are hit and miss . House keeping are good, front desk are ok.. The whole hotel needs a revamp and updating. Location is great for beach, shops and restaurants.

Pathetic hotel. You can smell strong cigarette smoke even in non-smoking rooms. Check-in and check-out process is ver poor. They blocked my credit card 3-4 days before check-in date even though I booked through Expedia and messed up my billing. It took 30-45 minutes while checking out. Stay away from this hotel

I had asked if they could just arrange a cake for my daughter as it was her birthday and we had gone to scatter my husbands ashes so it was already a very sad trip and the staff agreed but nothing materialized I asked again and again and even went to the extent of clarifying that I didn’t want it for free happy to pay but again nothing materialized despite agreeing every time In the end I took her to the mall and arranged one myself Not what I expect from such a reputable hotel

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. Check in/out seamless and organised which is a huge plus for India. Rooms are clean and spacious, showers are clean and modern, staff are very helpful and they leave the cleaners trolleys in the hallway should you need any shower gel, soap just grab one.

Terrible stay

I thought this was a better hotel compared to others I have stayed in. The quality of the decor and rooms was rather poor. Poor drinks service at the pool and the bar. Good wasn’t great either for a Ramada. The smell of wee by the pool. Surely there should be some sort of deterrent to stop people weeing on the hotel walls via the beach by the pool. Not happy at all with my stay.

This was my 4th time i stayed at Ramada in Juhu, Mumbai. Its always been an amazing stay, staff are friendly and polite and the hotel and rooms are very clean. Highly recommended .

2 night stay

Ok hotel but rooms are a bit dated. Wouldn't say it was a 5 star hotel. Staff and service very good.

So this was part 2 of my latest stay in the hotel. Plus points.. got a good room, location wise. Improvement needed.. our shower leaked, just like previous room, in fact worse as there was no seal in the cubicle at all. I did not have one day where i enjoyed use of the shower, as constantly worried it would flood the whole of the toilet area. It was obvious about the leak, and i am sure others must have complained. Lighting in the room was not as adequate and some lights did not work. Why do management not test these things. As our departure was before breakfast, we had been offered a packed breakfast, which we were told would be Juice, sandwiches, muffin and fruit. Unfortunately they forgot the Juice. Again poor. I must have asked and relayed our requirements to 3 different people the night before. So what can i say. Our 3rd stay at the hotel, but we left feeling unappreciated and with no apology or goodwill from management whatsoever. As we were fully pre-paid, they had us and were not willing to give any kind of compensation. So be warned. Hotel is good, but not loyal or welcoming to returning guests. If you pay up front for everything, you have no leverage to bargain with and they want every penny from you for sure. Will i return. Probably not. There are several other hotels in the area, where we have also stayed and felt more welcomed, so they will get our booking next time.

This was our 2nd stay at the hotel and we booked our stay in 2 slots so i want to be as fair as possible to the Hotel, as our experience was mixed and went downhill on the 2nd stay. The good... we were given a room upon arrival which was good, i would say early check in.. thank you. It was a nice room and located where we hoped.. so happy. Okay issues.. the water supply was mixed and my wife rarely had hot water for showering.. perhaps as it was at peak times. The shower cubicle leaked and water seeped out from the slightly ajar door and other areas.. again should this not be spotted and sorted before someone stays there. My wife would say lack of mirrors or mirrors sighted where it was too dark to use. We had pre-paid for breakfast on our stay, and whilst we requested if we could use our credit breakfast on the first day of arrival, as we were going to leave for airport before breakfast began on the last day of our stay, the hotel would not avail to this swap and asked for a payment for what they deemed to be extra breakfast. Okay i will stop there on this review as it was mainly good. Kindly see my other review for our part 2 stay at the same hotel.

Disappointing and overcharged and under serviced,

Not good for the money spent. First the rooms are outdated and lousy bathroom. Breakfast spread disappointing and no where near a five star hotel. They couldn’t provide grilled veg sandwiches. They asked me that it will be extra rather understanding the customer requirements. Overall disappointing

The room looked tired and was not value for money. It was extremely noisy and we had difficulty sleeping. The breakfast area was chaotic and disorganised. It was not relaxing and calming in the morning.
