Hotel Review: Disappointing Experience, Not Up to 4-Star Standards I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting a 4-star experience as advertised, but unfortunately, it fell far short of that expectation. The location is indeed great, but the building is very run down, which was evident from the moment I arrived. One of the biggest issues was the lack of air conditioning in the room, which made my stay during a hot summer week almost unbearable. With temperatures reaching 90 degrees, the room was stifling and uncomfortable. The front desk did offer me a fan, but it did little to alleviate the humidity and heat in the room, making it a very unpleasant experience. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities you would expect from a 4-star hotel. There was no coffee, no bathroom amenities, and overall, the room felt outdated and poorly maintained. The towels were old and worn out, further contributing to the impression that this hotel is not being kept up to standard. The most frustrating part of my stay was the issue with the tourist tax. When I booked through Orbitz, I was informed that the tourist tax would be $16, payable at the hotel. However, upon checkout, the hotel charged me 21 euros instead. Despite showing my receipt, the staff refused to rectify the charge, which left a very sour taste in my mouth. Breakfast was just okay, but it certainly didn’t make up for the outdated facilities and the overall poor condition of the hotel. It seemed to cater more to local gues

Gorgeous surroundings, super walkable so long as you can get to the town, helpful staff, GREAT breakfast buffet with stay, clean hotel but quite dated. Would stay at again!

Perfect breakfast

Perfect breakfast, really tasty and a huge selection of different dishes. Very friendly staff, nice spa in the hotel 100 m away. Safe place, nice hotel for cyclists, proper bicycle storage. The building is quite well maintained, although it will need renovation in the near future.

It was confusing to get there because located three corner of three countries Italy 🇮🇹 Austria 🇦🇹 and Slovenia 🇸🇮 when I booked I was thinking I was going to stay in Austria but I and up in Slovenia, anyway it was great mountains and great food and it was nice to be there

Great location in the center of Kranjska Gora, close to pedestrian streets for shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and clean rooms with a balcony. On site breakfast was nice with a lot of options.

Love the hotel view and the room, dislike the fact that you have to walk over 100 meters to go to the pool, and the people at the other hotel was not nice at all.

Nice stay, but no pool!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel, however, we felt a little misled by the hotel description. There is NOT an indoor pool at this hotel, rather at the Ramada Resort just down the street. When staying at this hotel, you gain free access to three different pools, but none of them are located on site. The Ramada Resort was not far, only a three minute walk from this hotel, so it really isn't a big deal. But trying to carry an infant, a three year old, and all of their pool gear down the road in the pouring rain was less than enjoyable. Had we known that this was the case, we would have booked rooms at the Ramada Resort instead.

Dejligt hotel med god service og fin morgenmad adgang til pool på nærliggende hotel men uden ac og så er der varmt på værelset 26 gr om natten mere om dagen

Goede locatie

Middenklasse hotel in het centrum van kranjska gora. Plaatsje zelf gezellig druk in het voorseizoen (zomer). Hotel is prima, niks bijzonders. Ontbijt redelijk ruim qua keuze.

Gutes Hotel in guter Lage

Die Zimmer waren groß und geräumig die Betten waren sehr gut. Die Lage im Zentrum ist gut mit Restaurants und Geschäften. Der Service zuvor kommend und das Frühstück sehr gut.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Wir können dieses Hotel guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Vor fast 20 Jahren gebaut, könnte es von außen zwar eine Auffrischung vertragen, im Innenbereich waren wir jedoch ausgesprochen zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels, ob Flure, Restaurant, Lift oder Zimmer war sehr gut. Ein großes, abwechslungsreiches und schmackhaftes Frühstücksbufett bei toller Aussicht auf die Berge ließ uns gut in den Tag starten. Auch das Servicepersonal setzte sich ausnahmslos aus aufmerksamen, freundlichen Mitarbeitern zusammen. Das Zimmer war groß und auch wesentlich kleinere Bäder hatten wir schon in teureren Hotels. Das Bad war sehr sauber, nirgendwo Schimmel oder defekte Teile. Man traut sich kaum, die beiden negativen Kleinigkeiten zu erwähnen. Zum makellosen Zustand des Bades passte lediglich der alte, verbeulte Abfalleimer nicht. Und im Zimmer waren zu wenig Steckdosen, jedenfalls in der Nähe des Bettes. Aber ein 2 Meter langes Ladekabel für das Mobiltelefon konnte auch diese Kleinigkeit vergessen lassen. Es ist sicher, dass wir dieses Hotel noch einmal buchen, wenn wir in die schönen slowenischen Alpen fahren.

Zimmerausstattung sehr in die Jahre gekommen.. Pool nicht im Hotel, sondern 200 Meter im Nachbarhotel! Frühstück gut, außer der Café! Automatencafe ohne Liebe und Geschmack...

Einfache Unterkunft, keine Klimaanlage, schlechte Ausstattung (schlechte Betten) Personal teils sehr freundlich, teils uninteressiert am Gast

Bra hotell mitt i byn.

Hotellet ligger perfekt mitt i byn, gångavstånd till restauranger och matbutik. Sängen, madrassen, hade gjort sitt och mycket obekväm, rörde sig den andra studsade man själv till. Handdukstorken fungerade inte eftersom den vattenburna värmen var avstängd på sommaren. Man vill kunna torka sina handdukar även på sommaren, alternativt får rummen förses med dubbeluppsättning handdukar. Frukosten var god och allt fanns.

Svake godine sa svojom suprugom najmanje jedanputa posjetim neko mjesto u Sloveniji. U Kranjskoj gori bio sam više puta u različitim hotelima i privatnom smještaju. No, ovo nam je zasigurno bio naš najljepši odmor. Slučajno sam odabrao hotel Ramadu i nisam pogriješio. Veličina sobe, urednost, ljubaznost osoblja, odlična hrana, besplatno korištenje bazena u susjednom hotelu, lokacija samog hotela, neznam šta je bolje. Ono što je mene opuštalo je ležanje na kauču, sjedelje u fotelji sobe, hola ili terase te promatranje svega onoga što vas okružuje. Inače volim prirodu, a Slovenija je zato odlična destinacija.

Ero in viaggio con tre amici abbiamo pensato a Kranjsca Gora come tappa per passare la notte ed ho scelto il Ramada Hotels & Suites in quanto vicino al centro e dotato di piscina e SPA, quindi ho prenotato una camera doppia con terzo letto richiedendo però la possibilità di avere tre letti singoli. L'hotel è in una posizione sicuramente ottima solo che per usufruire della piscina e della SPA bisognava trasferirsi in un'altro hotel a circa 300mt. La camera assegnata aveva un letto matrimoniale ed il letto aggiuntivo era un divano letto privo di confort tanto che per livellare il materasso abbiamo dovuto utilizzare due cuscini. La porta del terrazzino era danneggiagiata e si chiudeva a fatica. Il box doccia era in condizioni precarie e quando si chiudevano le due porte si rischiava ogni volta che cadessero. Nota positiva la colazione, ben fornita con angolo dedicato alle intolleranze da glutine.
