Comfortable, clean, quiet spot in Raleigh.

Great stay!

Perfect Spot for Exploring North Newfoundland

We were a family of four and stayed in the Iceberg Room. It was perfect for us. Plenty of room. This is a MUST STAY if looking for a central spot for L'Anse Aux Meadows and want to stay out of main towns, this is your place.

Made a mistake double booking same date for 4 nights. Asked Expedia within 20 minutes of booking to mediate and allow me 1 night penalty. The owner told I had already checked in so no refund. I never did. Expedia because of my platinum status compensated me for three nights in credits Avoid this establishment on the wrong side of the peninsula anyway

Very nice accommodations in a lovely and rustic setting. We will definitely return!

Lovely room and ensuite tastefully decorated. Unfortunately the walls are thin and we had noisy neighbours.

Great place to stay along the Viking Trail. Very clean, friendly staff, and we especially enjoyed a bonfire at the fire pit across from our room while watching the sunset!! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful location!

The room was very clean and nicely designed. A half hour drive to L’Anse aux Meadows national historic site, along a very scenic drive so it was convenient. It was nice to sit in the comfy chairs on the deck and enjoy the sun in the late afternoon and evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice stay! Our room was nicely decorated and very updated. Our room had items for a longer stay, kitchen items, etc. our view was beautiful as just across the street was the ocean inlet. Hearing the water rolling with the gentle waves was very calming.

Close to historic viking.village which was our destination. Was billed as a room that slept four but the second bed was a really uncomfortable sofa bed. There was a charge for the extra guest. For two people it would be a lovely room not worth it for three

A great place to stay, close to beautiful hiking trails and L’Anse Aux Meadows. Very friendly staff who were kind and accommodated our unusual arrival time. Laundry service was also much appreciated!

Beautiful place! We were so comfortable and happy here. They have a fire pit on the water that we used felt so relaxed and made excellent memories with our kids!

Beautiful location across bay from Burnt Cape Reserve. Super clean. Newly refurbished. Chairs and fire pit by the water. Local cafe no longer operating so bring food. Helpful staff!

We stayed in the Iceberg suite which was beautifully decorated and freshly renovated (standup shower). Very friendly staff. Right on the water. Close enough to L’Anse aux Meadows and St. Anthony to get food and gas (the only local restaurant closed recently). The pullout bed was VERY squeaky and I couldn’t figure out the AC unit but overall, we would come back again.

Excellent stay. Clean, modern apartment, which was perfect for our family for 2 adults and 2 kids. There are no laundry facilities on site, but the manager did our laundry load for a very reasonable fee. This was such a great help and awesome service. Would stay here again.

The Raleigh Rooms are lovely. We enjoyed the use of the fire pit, as well. The room was clean and comfortable.

There was no internet very isolate

Loved staying at this locally owned and very well presented property. Our two room unit with kitchen and living room was excellent, clean and newly renovated. It had everything we needed and we used the BBQ on the deck. Great place to stay and they allowed our dog.

Well maintained and very spacious!

Room is immaculate! Very thoughtful attention to detail. These folks clearly understand what makes a stay a happy one and have gone above and beyond to provide it. I don't write a "lot" of reviews, but I'll certainly do so in this case because this place has done everything possible to deserve a glowing review!

It's a bit of a drive to get to the property but we liked that it looked over the water, that it was spotless and nicely outfitted in the kitchen and that we could have a fire right outside. We had a very comfortable stay.

We had a late check in and inadvertently went to the wrong cabin. They were wonderful about it and worked everything out. The rooms were clean and comfy!! The view was incredible.

We were really impressed with this property. We had a two-bedroom unit, and it was very nicely updated. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was well equipped. Check-in was easy and the service is very friendly. We only stayed one night but I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

The property exceeded our expectations. The space was clean, well stocked, in excellent condition and the staff were exceptional to deal with. We will certainly stay at that location again when we are in the area.

It was a very remote location on a wet and windy day so the cosiness and amenities were appreciated! We stayed in the Caribou room which on Expedia indicated " ocean view" but only true if you crooked your head out door or looked diagonally thru a side window. Given some units truly are "ocean view" I would re-categorize this unit as "partial ocean view" at best.

The Raleigh Rooms was wonderful -- the rooms were well appointed and complete with all the finishing touches. I would stay there any time and would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely but remote

Nice unit, lovely but remote location. Be aware there are no restaurants within 20 mins - closest were in St Lunaire.

Very excellent front staff. Lovely bathroom. No restaurants available in the town. Limited restaurants in outlying area. Pull out sofa bed very uncomfortable.

The room was just lovely and very clean with extra touches like handcrafted inukshuks. It was nice and quiet and the hosts were very nice and friendly. It was in a gorgeous location and not far from l’Anse aux Meadows and other towns on the top east tip of NL. It was definitely worth the drive up!

In a quaint quiet area, this place was updated and very clean. Service was friendly and efficient!
