We booked a queen room with a hot tub but when we got there we were told that it was "under renovation" and so a regular room was provided at a discount. This put a damper on the weekend since we were really looking forward to the hot tub. If you book anything be sure to also call the hotel to confirm the room.
Room had a heavy odour, 1/10 cleanliness. Couldn’t convince myself to sleep the night and left.
Clean room, place was basic but okay for me.
Bed bugs motel.
I woke up in the middle of the night with bed bug bites How disturbing. I google this motel just to find out 5 mnths ago they had a family bitten as well. Hotels.com how can you support a business like this that has no consideration for their guests. Please hold these Establishments Responsible. I will never stay here again !and i will let everyone I know. What happen to me
The front desk area looks like someone is living in it. Dirty dishes and garbage all over. The room was gross. Dried urine on the floor in the bathroom. There was not a clean surface anywhere. I slept in my clothes because of the whole non-hygenic vibe. There was no hot water coming from the tao in the bathroom just from the bath tub. The towels had dirt marks on them. The only reason i didn't leave was because it is right across from the olg stage. My destination.
Room was cold and small. No conveniences.
No complaints other then parking was not free
On checking in I was not given a password for the internet. There was only one plug in the room, no plug in the washroom for my husband's shaver or to plug a nite light in. The room was cold even set at 90. The bathroom was freezing, you'd have to run the water forever to get hot water, and to make the bathroom warm enough to get wet and not shiver. Such a waste of water. I chose not to shower as I knew I wouldn't be able to get warm. The TV was not checked to make sure it was working and there was no instruction to how to operate the cable. I was hoping since it is so close to falls view casino that I could save money by staying here. Maybe in the summer when it's warmer. They need to put a door sweep on the door as there is a real gap letting light and cold air in.
Didnt like internet ..kept kicking out..tv channels ..only 5 and all U.S.. channels..had a small dog and they put us on second floor even though there were only 3 othercars in parking lot..no rooms available on first floor apparently ready..had to carry dog down and up cement steps which became icy..website stated a restaurant and coffee/cafe on premises..they didnt exist... no coffee machine or hairdryer in room..heater shut off and 10 seconds later it came back on..no a great sleep..garbage all over on the first floor parking lot area never in the 50 years of travelling have i been so upset at a place..don't book this place
Our stay was ok. Room was clean, but just not up to date.
I liked the cost. ,but you get what you pay for .Toilet didnt work properly ,entire room was outdated, they rent out parking spots in their parking lots for non gueats which is small and cramped as is.The room was dirty looking ,the office for check in was very messy ,unorganised ,and a lot of clutter ,it beeds to be cleaned up ,all over .Wont be going back .Unsaftisfied with my stay
This hotel is ok if you are looking for somewhere to sleep shower and is inexpensive.
RUN. DO NOT BOOK. I would park my vehicle here but that's about it. My partner and I booked a room here, tried to stay here and couldn't. The room was filthy dirty from top to bottom. Glass surfaces dirty top and bottom, some type of red substance (likely blood) on the wall in the bathroom that I had to clean up, the tap in the sink was so loose it sprayed water all over the bathroom. There was a 1" gap under the door letting cold air in. The heat did not work. The bed linen was old and not the freshest. The hot water took at least 3 minutes to get luke warm. If you like throwing back to the 80's and being the remote control for the TV like you did as a kid, then you would love this room. But wait, there's more! The baseboards haven't been cleaned since 1987, the snap together vinyl floor was water damaged by the window, the couch was like you were surfing the biggest wave and the bed was the most uncomfortable thing you could ever lay your body on. The staff....Oh what a joy they were. The manager was extremely snarky, condescending and downright ignorant. He immediately got defensive and angry when I told him politely the problems we had with our stay. He asked questions like, "Have you ever stayed in a hotel before"? Yes, as a matter fact I have and this isn't one. The manager is so wound up in his delusions, thinking his beds and sheets are the same as the highest end hotels in the industry. This place should be condemned and bulldozed down
Not bad
Jet tub did not work which was disappointing. Room was clean. Lady at reception let us keep our bags there while we waited for our ride past check out.
it was so close to olg stage and casino and tim hortons
The room is clean and neat
Great location
There was no warning of tye charge for parking at the motel so we were charged another 35.00 on top of the 220.00 for the 2 nights the motel was durty the tapa in the bathroomsink woukd flood the bathroom everytime you used ir . No toilet paper in the room we had to ask . When we left for the day we came back and had a hard time finding a parking spot . Its in our opinion they are just money greedy and don't care to support their customers at all. They did NOT clean our romm at all except empty the garbage can and an attempt to make our beds with the same sheets from the night before we will never go back there
Ok
Well. The owners tried to make us comfortable. Which is A Big Plus, in my opinion. The heat didnt work, the sink was plugged. The TV was sub par.(no streaming or bluetooth sharing.) Thetoilet had soil under the seat. All problems were fixed the next day, except the tv.
AVOID RAINBOW INN!
AVOID THIS MOTEL!!!!! We were in room 45, if you get that room, RUN!!!!! JUST AVOID THIS ENTIRE PLACE!! YOU WILL REGRET GOING HERE!!! Avoid this place so that you don’t spend your entire time in Niagara Falls hating yourself and regretting your trip. AVOID RAINBOW INN. it’s disgusting, dirty and loud. This is the type of place people go to so they can have sex with prostitues and do hard drugs. Management / owners could not care less to provide customers a decent stay. People were smoking in their rooms and the smell ended up entering our room. You hear people screaming in the parking lots at various different hours of the night EVERY night. No hot water, no heating and they only provide you with one role of toilet paper for your several night stay. There was blood on the bathroom walls. The bed was so god awful. They do not provide a comfortable and relaxing environment. I’m shocked and surprised there are not cockroaches and rats. Please do not go to this establishment because it doesn’t deserve to even exist.
Its all pretty good 👍
Exactly what you pay for
There was fecal and blood stains in both beds in our room. The sink was clogged, there was hair everywhere and the tv had been burnt with a lighter. Would not recommend, not to mention the front desk area looks like a teenagers bedroom.
Exactly what we wanted from a Niagara motel. Affordable, within walking distance of the Falls, with several food/drink options nearby. The heart-shaped jacuzzi in the room was also appreciated.
When I made the reservation online, it looked like a nice place for a reasonable rate. When I arrived, I discovered that it was not only dirty, but that on top of our hotel rate, my friend and I were each getting charged an additional charge for our cars to be there overnight. I went to the office on the morning I left to ask for change for American money to tip the housekeepers, and he shorted me on the conversion rate. The next time I come to that area, I will be choosing a slightly pricier Hotel, that I'm sure will be cheaper in the long run.
The rooms were old, out dated. Most of the tv channels didn't work, it was an antenna. The mattress cover had a blood stain on it. Mentioned it to the housekeeping and they don't do anything about it. The shower head a lot of calcium buildup, it was not very clean. They only left 1 roll of toilet paper. And it smelled really musty. We had to put our own air freshener in the AC.
It was good and convenient, third year in a row for a golf tourney …the other guys stay down the street at the Hilton The Rainbow is just fine, and the Tim Hortons is next door Thanks guys , see ya next year Garry
I liked how close it was to the falls and attractions. I found several stains and bugs.
Felt like I walked into 1973. Spend the money on a nice hotel. Niagara is so beautiful so have a nice room to match the vibe of the place
sucks
good bed but bathroom durty plaster coming of walls shower not spraying full water foset very old not working good.parking sucks paid 113.for a week not even sure if your getting a parking if u go out at night.he rents the parking to people at night so very tight parking..never again.
Adorable classic motel. Love it.
Price was right.
Close to the falls
Decent stay, room was well taken care of and the minor issues were addressed promptly by the staff. Would recommend.
It’s worst place ever I see
Uncleanliness
This Inn was very unkempt and unclean for us to be in, the bed sheets wasn’t clean. The shower pipes were both running when it was time to take shower!
This is a classic case of you get what you pay for. The room was clean enough except for the stains on the comforter and a few small holes in the sheets. The toilet didn’t flush properly. We had to get someone to come get the tv working. There were only 2 electrical outlets and one was a power strip screwed to the wall. There was excess tv cable just piled up in the closet area. The decor and furniture (including the bed) hasn’t been updated since the mid 80s but it has a relatively new floor. There was no phone to call the front desk. There is a $15 fee for guest parking, which is limited. Tv channels were limited. On the plus side check in was super easy and the jacuzzi was quite nice. The rooms are also soundproof which was very nice. We never heard any noise outside. It’s conveniently located close to most major attractions and restaurants, many within short walking distance. They also had a nice looking pool but we didn’t get in this time. If you’re looking for a cheap getaway and don’t plan to spend much time in the room it would suffice. But if you’re looking for somewhere with amenities you might want to look elsewhere
The manager was nice. The hotel was minutes from the falls. I will be booking again next year.
Need to be renovated, air conditioner didn’t work, beds very old and holding on screws 😅
close to everything
It’s not much clean and the property looks very old from inside. No microwave inside the room and very limited space.
Staff was very friendly. room was comfortable.
The room dirty. The toilet seat had stuff on it. The tv didn't work well. The furniture was old and needs updating. The staff was ok. Location was good
Room was very clean and good for the price however the older female was very cranky and not very friendly at all. Maybe a bad day but her demeanour was not very professional or pleasant. Otherwise was a good place to stay for a couple nights
Pool and hot tub lovely. Great for $$$.
Great location, near newer casino. Tim Hortons beside motel. Margaritaville very close. The rooms need more love, more attention to detail. The fabric chairs are dirty, wood on bottom of bed and bed skirt dirty. All in all I have stayed here before and it has gotten a lot better.
No reservar jamas
No cleaning La persona que atiende es demasiado grosera ,,,el baño estaba sucio,,,no había papel higiénico,,,mejor dicho es una porqueria
Great place, I will come back another time for sure when it goes for a trip to Niagara falls!
Uncleaned room, it was noticeable that it had not been cleaned for several days and there were animals in the bathroom. The service was very bad and not recommended at all.
First and foremost the manager/owner of this property needs to update their website and show the current condition of the rooms in this motel. The rooms we were in had NOT been cleaned properly, inside the showers and around the toilet bowls were dirty, plus they had dirty towels mixed with the clean ones. Then this man had the audacity to try and say the kids did it when we only arrived about 10-15mins before we told him about the dirty bathrooms mind you the kids hadn’t even went in the shower yet because the first thing they did so go to the pool before it closed. The ceiling had water damage, bathroom door handle was loose, carpet wasn’t vacuumed. No remote for the tv nor the ac unit.
Location is awesome. Concert at OLG and Tim Hortons close. Reception is messy and very dirty. Rooms are not the cleanest either. Knob for shower doesn’t work so had to use the shower head just to wash my feet. Holes in blankets and bedspread too. Good thing though are the concrete walls so it was great for noise unless it was the neighbouring bathrooms.
No
Durty room, smell cigarettes, dirty sheets I check in and check out in 10 minutes and they didnt check out not friendly dont support this kind of merchants
Cleanliness of rooms can be improved
Great choice
I enjoyed myself on this trip and my stay was hassle free and peaceful
Room was not cleaned from prior guest, sink in bathroom wouldn't open to drain. Was charged more than what I thought I was paying as the staff at check explained nothing to me, just charged my card the extra for parking, and cleaning fee for having my dog, who made less of a mess than what was there for us when we got in. Room was runned down, I knew it had old carpet from pictures, but the toilet paper holder on wall was falling off, mirror just standing on the floor leaning against wall. Will know to never book to stay there ever again in my life.
I really enjoyed my stay here! My second day the attendant knocked on my door to replace my used towels with fresh warm ones. There’s also a great pool and jacuzzi attached on the top-right corner of the pool with some great jets that you can turn on if you’re looking for a massage. It’s also extremely close to the Fallsview entertainment complex and the falls is just down the road as well. Would definitely stay again - thanks guys!
The room was stuffy and not well air conditioned For asthmatic and allergic person it is not recommended
Not the best nor not the worst. For just an overnight place to rest it's worth the value, very cooperative front desk staff 👍
Older establishment but that’s what we liked about it. Owners and staff very friendly . The location was perfect and would definitely return .
This property seems like it has not been cleaned very well, there was chewed up gum with alot of dust on the headboard, a ball of hair on the floor of the bathroom. The chain lock did not reach to be useful and was falling out of the wall. The battery in the smoke detector was falling out. Crumbs in the drawers, and change on the floor. I did love the location of the property but that was about it.
I am writing to express my outrage over the most appalling hotel experience I've ever had, booked through Expedia. The entire place reeked of dog, including the beds, and it was evident the room had not been cleaned. The towels were dirty, the bathroom stank of dog urine and feces, and I found a spider in the bathroom and centipedes on the ceiling and bed. I have photos of the spider and what appears to be dog feces in the bathroom due to the strong odor. Even calling this experience "terrible" would be an understatement; it was literally shocking. This ruined my trip to Niagara, forcing me to find alternative lodging. I am shocked that Expedia would list such a deplorable place.
Room smelled horrible, had to run the a/c to get the stench out. Beds were comfortable. You can hear noise from outside, but not terrible. Outside around property is alright, very close to all attractions, Tim Hortons right beside property. Wouldn’t stay here again, although management are nice people.
Good spot for the falls..
We like the location and dining options.
Nice location
Friendly
It was amazing,cooperative,nice behavior
For the same price you can get other property.
😄
Great place
I've stayed here a few times over the years and it's a fine budget hotel for the price. Nothing fancy but a great location and nice owners/staff.
Our favourite place to stay in Niagara. So close to everything we can walk. Room was clean and comfy.
walkable to everything.
Not a bad place to stay. No place to hang a coat. But overall it was nice. Staff was friendly. Less no Cannabis signs would be nice.
Rainbows and sunshine
Great little place to stay. Close to all the action The owner is a very nice man
Truly the most disgusting room i’ve ever seen. Filthy stained bedding, bugs, hair in the dirty tub. Totally mislead by this Expedia ad. Management was useless I didn’t even sleep here for a minute and got charged for my entire week’s stay. Room smelled so strongly of mold there was no way we could sleep in it so we walked over to an actual nice hotel (Wyndham) and had an amazing stay. Sucked having to pay for 2x rooms but saved the trip but not staying in this complete dump. I’ll also never be using Expedia again. Huge Bate’s motel vibes too, avoid at all costs.
I liked that it was within walking distance to the casino, Clifton Hills, and restaurants. I didn't like the fact that they had a top sheet on the mattress, the toilet paper holder was pulled out of the wall, there was used soap stuck to our tub and I'm pretty sure our towels weren't knew. I feel like we were paying for location not room cleanliness. Also, I ended up paying more than what was said on Expedia. I did request late check out but, we never used it and left our room 2 hours before the time I had asked for. A little disappointed.
The place and room looks good. But need to pay 25$ parking fee for overnight. Parking is not free.
Good friendly dog
Got a Room with a Jacuzzi for myself and my fiancee. Hot water did not work properly and we were forced to abandon the jacuzzi. We thought the issue would be resolved in the morning. It was not and we had to take cold showers before leaving. Also the hotel staff front desk man repeatedly entered our room while we were inside. Not respecting privacy at all. Pretty sure this is illegal I do not recommend staying here. I was naked when the man opened the door so was my partner. After all that the man threatened to call the police to charge us with trespassing. checkout time was 11 am and clearly stated on the rules that late checkout would incur an extra charge which i was okay with paying. to go from making us pay an extra $10 per hour to threatening to charge us with trespassing and entering a room where guests are sleeping naked is really not okay. tv sucks and no wifi. also pretty sure there are many fire hazards.
The location is in a good place, but the room smelled very damp and shower was not working. Since we were going to stay one night and leave, we didn't pay much attention to it. Those who want to stay for a long time should think again.
Awesome Little place Will use again when in the area.
Worst place to stay
The property was dirty in and out. The furnitures were moldy and dirty. They refused to clean the room the second day, even though it said daily cleaning in the amenities. They just gave us towels for the second day. No soap or shampoo refill. Not even a kettle. Very unclean and smelly furniture and the bed was like a rock.
Safe, quite, close to the downtown fall area.
Are room wasn’t clean at all I had to clean out are tub and there was mice poop near are bed I will never stay here again waist of money all together
Location to the falls was the only good thing. Very dirty and the room beside us was noisy with a fight until after 3:30am. No staff to do anything about it.
Good stay for affordable price.
Excellent cheapest
Not recommended
room smells cigarettes i used my cologne to spray for the whole room. Over all room need a deep cleaning and a washroom. I have requested a rollaway bed as promised to bring in by 15 minutes but nothing has showed up. Wifi is too slow.
Dated but clean
The room was clean and comfortable. Updates are needed, though (extension cord to plug in the lamp and fireplace; took a long time to get hot water.) No cable TV; indoor digital antenna only. No elevator. But conveniently located and reasonably priced. 10-15 minute walk to the falls. If you are just looking foe a comfortable place to sleep, it was great.
Got a hot tub room. No fridge, no ice on site to be found. The toilet paper roll was used, and also uses by junkies to clean their needles. The staff never bothered removing it. No other other toilet paper available. The shower curtain rod was broken. The toilet paper neglect is the filthiest thing I have ever seen in any hotel room. This place should be taken off Expedia. It is a dump.
This is a very nice place to stay my daughter only wants to go to this motel when we go to the falls she loves the staff there and the service ext
Close to theatre and restaurants. A little noisy bc of location, but good for convenience.
I have a great stay I just had gotten an injury
