Well placed for transport links. Room was small and toilet difficult to use as too close to the wall.
The property was hard to get to on foot because the sidewalks are so broken and the cars park ON the sidewalk. The restaurants near by are crazy expensive. The hotel staff were all nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING and made my entire visit so much better! The two major issue i had was the wifi router did not reach my room so when I entered. I would lose signal. My room was also in the back corner of what looked like a maintenance halway and thats what the cleaning staff used it for too. I always had trouvle getting to my room because there was always someone leaving a laundry bin or vacuum or both there. As a disabled person with walking aids, i need all the space I can to get through a halway. Oh and they ask you to leave your key at the desk whenyou leave for the day. Weird, but ok. Just doesnt feel very secure and you can't really avoid it because they key ring is basically a 1lb barbell.
This was a good budget option for Rome.
Great place to stay during your city break.
I had a great experince staying here. It is very quiet and close to the metro. The staff is very professional and helpful, the room was cleaned every day with towels changed every day. I had a wonderful holiday and the hotel was a great part of it.
Good location, staff, breakfast
Good location, bed comfortable , small room but I was on my own so good enough. Good breakfast, nice staff. Only problem the shower was not so hot as i expected in the morning. In the evening the shower was good. Fridge was not working but I did not use it. Hairdryer in the bathroom. Near train station e metro. Also walking distance for the main attractions was good. Storage room available
Nice older hotel with a good staff. Close enough to the Roma Termini train station to walk with roller luggage. Good deal and safe stay.
Nice hotel in a great area near the main train station (Termini). Staff is very pleasant, helpful and speaks English well. The rooms are older and small but very very clean.
Great location! Clean and the staff was very helpful! Close to many restaurants, train station and shopping!
Me encantó! Viaje sola.
Overall a decent stay in a convenient location for us. However the room smelled at times of sewage, none of the pop ups in the bathroom were functioning properly and the AC didnt work well.
Good affordable safe hotel. Pleasant staff allowed us an early check in
This place is “4” star hotel. However deserve prob max 2, fist of all we booked standard room but they gave us looks like economy . Room is really small prob 8*8ft Only good thing is they have AC that is working. tv not working , they don’t have iron in hotel, They don’t have drinking water in hotel ( only at breakfast). During our stay there was many kids in hotel and they been so loud , specially at 7am ( when breakfast starts) - slamming doors , screaming , adults with them loud as well.
Ok spot, expected more for 4 star
Not sure how this hotel is classified as 4 stars, more like 2. Old with cracked tiles, broken furniture that looked like it stepped out of the 1970s, a barely working fridge, no in room coffee making. Location close to the station but lots of homeless people sleeping in doorways including right next door.
I booked this hotel and arriving day stuff told me they move me to other sister location near by ( it was a 7 min walk with a luggage ) no assistance or explanation was offered. When I arrived to other location they gave a me room on 5 floor and temperature in room was 27 Chelcia, a/c was not working on whole hotel .fortunately they move me to second floor when was a little bit cooler in May outside was 80 degrees. Have to sleep with opened windows and it’s was so noisy, crowded street was noisy till 2:30 Morning 4 AM street cleaning noice and trash pick up at 5 am make a lot of noise as well Stuff was so nice breakfast ok
Beautiful property with great staff and service! We walked everywhere and it was perfect.
Was bit disappointed, air conducting didn’t work, plug in tub didn’t work properly and no shower curtain so had to clean up water after we bathed.
Good value and nice place to stay
Clean and comfortable Hotel. Room was clean and quite big. No blankets on the bed - just a sheet. Quite a cold room. No decent shower, no shower curtain, water floods the bathroom. Not sure if it's 4 star, probably 2.5. Breakfast was ok, staff were a bit rude.
Never stay here
It was awful, shower fell apart twice. Keys were so heavy that no one knew how to close the doors and slammed them all night( tv did not work and staff were awful
It was a nice stay overall. The staff were friendly and professional. Shout out to Grace, one of the front desk staff who made our stay comfortable.
Nice accommodations, good room, good amenities.
For a quick 2 day trip to rome this was the perfect place for me! The room was small but for a solo traveler just needing a secure place to sleep this was great! On one occasion I arrived at around 5am after a night out of clubbing and I appreciated that the concierge checked to verify I was a guest of the hotel for security mesures! I would say I did feel a little uneasy about leaving my luggage in a closet accesible to all guests before my checkout and would have preferred the staff to handle that and make the room more secure to avoid other guests stealing things! Luckily that did not happen and everything went well !
Cleaning staff woke us up every morning shouting and being extremely loud in the hall around 7-8 A.M. Room was extremely small, and the bed was quite uncomfortable.
French fries on the floor, hair and dirt. TV in room is laptop size, more decorative due to not working. Location great, still plenty other hotels in area. Staffs looked depressed or sad, couldn’t smile or be polite. Much worn out hotel that needs refurbishment.
Nice Hotel Close
Overall my stay was nice. The hotel is in a good location not that far from Central Station. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. The hotel itself is pretty clean and for the most part quiet, although I did hear cleaning staff at 7AM a few mornings. Also, I heard a school group late at night. I thought the breakfast was nice. I arrived early but they did not allow me to check in early, which was a pain. If their cleaning crew starts at 7AM and check out is at 11 AM I don't know why I wasn't allowed to check in early. Overall I would recommend.
Nice at all
The lift was always “out of service” which is too hard for a handicap like me . There was an A/C but it blows HOT air than cold. “Never again “ on this place. The room smells terrible!!!
The hotel was convenient for us and the staff was very helpful.
In a quiet street, 8 min from the train station and bus tours. Nearly many restaurants. Unfortunately, the mirror in between the twin beds was useless; a full mirror behind the door would have been a lot more practical and useful. The "closets" above each night table were high to reach the hangers, their bottom right at head level (I hurt my hands twice every time I lift my arms to pull the covers.
Never again
This hotel should be closed. Nothing works, everything is broken, espresso from a machine in Rome? Ridiculous.
convenient location to the train station. Reserved and paid for a superior room with queen bed and got an economy sized room with two twin beds, very small not what I paid for.
One person stay. Except the room size which is small, everything else seems quite good.
This Hotel should not be 4 stars. Worth max 2 star
Do not expect to much! - Very poor loby - Small room, especialy shower room, - No coffee/te in the room or loby. Only avaiable during breakfast. - No laundry service, or Iron device in the room - Mini bar was broken. - There is no place to put shower/shampoo during shower. - Bad breakfast Spent very bad days att this Hotel. Hotel missing basic services should not worth 4 stars To be fair, here is some positive things - Reception staf, and it is open 24/7 - To many restaurant surround hotel. - 10 min to the train and metro station. In general you will pay for position not Hotel.
A 2 star hotel claiming to be a 4 star one. Worst breakfast ever, smallest room ever, dirtiest bed and worst customer service (except from the Reception). It’s just an example of a terrible 4 star expensive hotel. No resturant, no gym or any type of facilities. No lobby. No nothing. Just rooms poor breakfast room. No egg or any hot foods in the breakfast menu. Just cucumber, tomato, sweets, coffee machine, cornflakes, bread, honey and some other basic stuff. BE AWARE YOU ARE PAYING FOR A 2 STAR HOTEL.
The staff at the hotel were very helpful, and did their best with what was available. The rooms were very small and the bathroom was too. The shower cubicle was difficult to wash within because of the size. Breakfast was fairly good and inclusive of the price of stay. It’s location isn’t too far from the main attractions and walking distance of the rail and bus station which made it a good choice. The nearby restaurants were eas
Good place to crash for the night
The AC didn’t work and the bed was too big for the room. Otherwise Great stay. WiFi good, quiet, great location.
They didn't have our room when we arrived and they sent us walking with all our bags to another hotel 10 minutes away. No explanation was given to us.
This is a 1 or 2 star hotel , not 4 as advertised. Our room was ridiculously small, the sheets smelled and were torn, the shower was gross and too small to shower in. The walls were very dirty and damaged. The fridge did not work. It was a nightmare. Think hard and long before you before your book this place, you have been warned. It is much worse than comparably priced hotels and air bnbs despite its claims and pictures. Very disappointed.
The staff is very rude! they don' t even say good morning! or Good night! You walk by the front desk and they totally ignore you, you go to the breakfast room and they don't say good morning! They look like a group of robots ! And definitely the Reali Hotel Lux, is not a 4 STARS Hotel !!!!! Maximum a 2 stars. Good location and in calm and quiet street next to the Termini station, this is only the good side of this Hotel. Staff need a training, to treat better they guests ! Remember : we are the ones that pays your salaries!
The only thing that I like was the location. But terrible service, incredible the fact that they only have 4 hours of AC. Terrible property’s condition, not cleaning properly. I do not recommend this hotel.
older hotel, still beautiful. Close walking distance to the terminal and shopping.
El personal del check in podría ser mas amable, unicamente
We only stayed one night, but everyone was friendly, the property was clean and had a perfect location, close to the train terminal.
Room fairly small, bathroom a bit fusty. No English tv channel Location was ok Staff very helpful and friendly Room service, cleanliness was good Just a pity about the cramped space but suited us for 3 nights
The room itself was good and the overall cleanliness and decor was very good. However, the staff, although polite couldn't seem to achieve anything I requsted
Room was clean, bed was comfy but the showers were really small. It was really hot out and the air conditioning was not working. I asked the front desk to fix it and they ignored it and said it was working yet the room was above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Other than that little thing, my stay was pleasant.
Love this place. 8 Minute walk to Roma Termini, Stores and Restaurants
The style was very unique. Only issue I had was the bed seemed a little hard.
4 star Hotel ... Really????
It says that is a 4-star hotel
The property was very centrally located and in a walkable distance to many attractions.
Front desk, was courteous and friendly. Warm welcoming. It would have been helpful, if they had more clear instructions about street parking since we had a car rental.
Comfortable and functional hotel close to Roma Termini station. Attentive and helpful staff, who really try to make you feel welcome and get your bearings and excellent housekeeping team. Adequate rooms although air conditiining unit can be finickity and lock on bathroom was broken. Good continental breakfast with wide range of options. Would not be against staying here again.
A good place to stay.
We wanted a place close to the train station, and it was only a few blocks away. The staff, especially Luigi, were very helpful to give us direction and information about where to go and how to get there. There was no place to put a second suitcase on and the were no hooks to hang anything.
Great staff and good food.It would have been good to have a bar for a drink in the evening before bed,but generally very good.
No air conditioning. Door was left unlocked after room bed change over. Room too small with no amenitires. Too noisy.
Very nice staff but the room was very small. The amenities were nice but there was hardly any hot water.
One doy don’t have hot water in the morning That is not good more if you have to leave in the same day
The Hotel is clean and safe, that is what i want. It was a great trip in rome. thank you.
Room is very small and old. No kettle no small bedside lamp. Breakfast is ok but not any hot meal. I was wondering why this hotel is 4star hotel.
The staff was Great! It is an older hotel, but our first visit to Europe. It was interesting and we enjoyed our stay. We would return.
Good hotel, just a short walk to train station. One minor thing - Using plastic cups for juice at breakfast, would've preferred something environment friendly.
No air conditioning. They decided whether you needed air conditioning.
There is no bar, the safe in the room didnt work, the beds were very small
Details and description when booking made it appear a lot larger and special than the reality...
The staff in particular Luigi always makes visiting the Lux a pleasure. Always helpful to share with you the highlights of Rome.
Great place to lodge while in Rome. due to proximity to Termini Station its location is good. Staff very courteous and helpful, Good Breakfast. Nice Room, Cleanliness of premises is great. When my Family goes to Rome they'll lodge at this Hotel. THANKS Raeli Hotel Lux. My stay was pleasant.
Staff was very friendly and helpful! Most spoke English well. Rooms were small, as expected, but very comfortable and clean. It was definitely a positive experience and the continental breakfast was very good for such a small hotel. My only small complaint is the noise at night. The floors are made of marble (or another rock) and you can hear everything that goes on in the hallway. I would highly recommend for a budget hotel.
Great hotel, great location!! close to the main terminal (7min) and close (4min) to the metro line that brings you straight to the colosseum.
Hotel stay was very pleasant. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Our room on the fifth floor was quiet and spacious. Comfortable bed too. Will stay again. Thank you.
The Hotel is close to railway station but far enough away that it is quiet. The staff are excellent very helpful and friendly. For the price this hotel is great value
Close to the main train station and a walk to the coliseum, Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain.
Although the room was small, it was adequate for the time I spent there. It was very clean and the bed was great. The reception I got on my arrival was very welcoming and I was given lots of helpful advice. I really enjoyed the breakfasts. There was plenty of food so the days got off to a great start. The venue was perfect - round the corner from a station on the metro B line and less than 15 minutes walk from Terminii station. I would be very happy to stay at this hotel again.
Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were excellent and welcoming. Only negative is not been able to provide an iron for my clothes .
Very central location, close to termini, metros, restaurants etc. If there is anything wrong then the staff (who speak excellent English) quickly put it right. Staff are very knowledgable about the area and very friendly.
Basic, clean room which we used as a base to explore Rome. Close to train station. Staff very helpful. Would have been better if rooms had tea/coffee facilities. However, generally a pleasant stay.
It was within walking distance to the Termini station, about seven minutes away. It was typically Italian, with a marble staircase and small elevator. The room was very small, but clean and comfortable bed. The breakfast was good, even though there was no cooked items. Good value for money. Pleasant staff.
Fabulous location near train and metro. Really nice staff. Complementary breakfast. Had a great stay.
good service, friendly staff, nice clean Rooms and good location
Everything was nice and basic. Served needs. Suggestion would be for travelers coming from the USA or English speaking places to have so Television stations in English. And an ice machine
Ideal for short break
Ideal hotel for a short break, less than 10 minute walk from main bus/train station at Termini. Inclusive continental breakfast a bonus. Staff very helpful.
Good only to sleep. Wouldn't suggest for more than one night.
Comfortable, close to Tremini
The girl who works the front desk on the weekend is very nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast will start you off right. The workers always keep a watchful eye on everything. There is a Conway very close and Tremini Station is a 10 min walk. The only cons is the room is small to walk around in and the shower is tiny. But all bathrooms in Italy seem to be on the way smaller side. I did enjoy my stay and was comfortable for the most part.
Great location. Lovely breakfast. Very helpful reception staff. However probably the smallest shower cubicle I have ever seen in a hotel.
Very dirty room, floor, bed/box spring and old broken furniture. The pillowcases has holes as well as the pillows. Only good aspect was the breakfast. Large spread and good staff that is very attentive.
Nice hotel close to Termini station
Staff were very helpful and the room was clean. A good selection for breakfast
The hotel was nice. Some rooms were extremely small. One of our rooms smelled like mold and had to be changed because my son suffers from asthma and would had never been able to spend one night in his room.
Could have been improved by having somewhere to sit with others rather than returning to room.
Not 4 star
Not a 4 star hotel it was very tired. Wanted to watch tv before going to sleep that was ok as long as you want main light on as it was all connected! Could hear other guests conversations through the walls. There was no way of closing doors quietly. Not bad location One of lifts didn't feel very safe as when stopped jolted down quite a way. Breakfast was quite limited. Surely a 4 star hotel would have a bar area to have a drink before going up to room
Small Hotel Near Termini Station
A small hotel in a quiet area near Termini. It's pretty safe because there is extra security in this neighborhood for several embassies as well as important government officials living nearby. I traveled alone so I can only comment on my type of room which had a double bed, small fridge, and a pretty useless TV as far as the available programming was concerned. Closet space was limited. The shower was small, probably on par with most smaller hotels in Europe and the bath amenities were few. It was quite warm and sticky during my stay so I used the air conditioning which seemed to lock into only one setting. Early morning was cool enough so I could open the shutters and bring in some fresh air. the hotel has two elevators, both small, but better than just having one. The staff was very helpful. There's a buffet breakfast served each morning, but there were no hot items available. I liked the location near the train depot with lots of surrounding shops and restaurants. For the energetic, historic Rome is walkable. And from this hotel it's virtually a straight line walk to sites like the Trevi and Pantheon as well as the Forum. And not much veering from this straight line to get to any place else worth visiting. Of course, you can always hop a bus or take the nearby Metro. If you do, buy your pass or individual tickets when you arrive. You'll see signs selling these tickets on some of the small convenience and kiosks in the neighborhood.
Quiet and great position for transportation in city centre.
Good ubication but bathroom doesn’t have any hook and very small
Staff here are AMAZING! However the issue of no air conditioning in our room was never addressed. It was so hot and uncomfortable to sleep we had to purchase a fan in order to get any relaxation. Again the staff are the success of this hotel only!
Hotel was clean and staff were very helpful Excellent location for sight seeing Would use the same hotel in the future
Great location and good staff.
It was a nice trip and the hotel was comfortable with a very friendly staff.
Not a Four Star hotel
Hotel was walking distance to Termini, which was great. The hotel should not claim to be a four star hotel. It was at best a two star hotel. It was a basic hotel. I've stayed at other 3-4 star hotels in Italy that were better. The breakfast had a good spread. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel with basic amenities, then this place is for you.
Great hotel
Luigi in particular makes a stay at the Lux great, Laura was also fantastic great customer service and always helpful!
Just what we needed!
This hotel was in a great location next to the main train station and metros, the only downfall I would say about the location is there were not many places to eat and drink in that area so the metro is needed to find a decent area. The staff in the hotel were lovely and very helpful, they recommended places to eat and would even book a table for us if we wanted to. The room was small but had everything we needed for our stay. I would highly recommend!
OK Hotel.
Nice staff. Clean hotel/room. Found too much noise at night. Thin Walls.

The location is very convenient for walking around close to Roma termini and down town. The room are small.
