Relaxed and Close to important places in Bogotá

All was great, the people in the reception area and in the restaurant. Our only complaint is related to the key card that almost all the time did not work to open the elevator to take us to the floor we had our room.

The hotel is a bit old and it shows. But othwrwise great location

Great location

The hotel offers a shuttle service from the airport, but I was never able to coordinate. I tried through Expedia, email, instagram and WhatsApp and they never helped. The room has no A/C which was never disclosed. The window in the room has a 1 inch opening, and we were supposed do live with that. We ended up leaving and found another place.

Wonderful

The room and facilities were very clean. Our beds were made up daily, towels changed, drinking glasses replaced. Breakfast was superb with so much choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. However there was no A/C and there was no way to adjust the temperature of the room. However they provided us with a fan on request. Also the street traffic is very intrusive...the noise penetrated the room and the dining room which was open to the outdoors. Diesel fumes were particularly nauseating.

The staff was truly superb and attentive. They welcomed you and acknowledged you at all times. Breakfast was also fresh, hot and they would switch up the variety. The piece that I think could use some improvement is the hotel itself is outdated so it’s in need of a refresh and the bed is a bit hard. Otherwise, I would consider staying here again simply based on the people and hospitality offered!

Customer service could improve

The room furniture is showing its age. Nights were warm, but not able to open windows, and no fan in the room. I thought the daily extra fees for guests past 6pm was excessive since guess did NOT stay past 10pm. The only rationale was that the guest could partake of breakfast. Finally, on one night it was pouring rain and we ran and entered through the patio entrance; an employee was quick to scold us that the patio was closed but since we were already inside to proceed. Thought that was rude considering the circumstances and again I am a paying customer.

It’s not a real Radisson hotel. Poor quality of furnitures, very smelly in the room. Front desk are difficult to communicate.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. It’s my go-to place in Bogota.

Window was broken. So it felt i was sleeping on the syreet. There was no airconditionar. When i told them i want a room with ac. They said they dont have. They lied. Because the next day when i saw an other set of staff i complaint again and they swich me to an room with ac. In my opinion it need to be stated that there is no ac.

I enjoyed this hotel, it achieves its purpose to sleep comfy and have rest, the room service food is outstanding, I never expected to have such a delicious dish especially when it comes from room service

Great location and safe area. If staying in a room on the Main Street in front the traffic noice starts as early as 5:30am on weekdays and 7:00am on the weekends. Bed was very hard and firm so not the most comfortable. Other than these two things it was an excellent place to stay. Oh yes, the restaurant is excellent !!

Hotel staff & security was excellent. The room didn't have airflow and no free water in room I felt was penny pinching. Sauna & steam room were highlights when working. Nearby to tourist district and La Biferia (Steakhouse) & BBC brewery with food trucks in outdoor sitting courtyard. Loved this part of Bogota.

This property is running a scam, once you arrive they try to justify undisclosed additional charges that are not well described on their invoices. For example, they charged me an additional fee which equals to an additional 50% from the room rate for my husband to stay because the reservation was under my name. In the invoice the charged was described as “charge”. This property does not comply with what a Radisson should be nor with what is promoted and sold on Hotels.com.

I ended up leaving two days earlier cause cleanliness wasn't the main priority for them. Smells after running water. Needs to run water up to 5 minutes to get hot water. Restaurant for room services sucks. Like a said, this hotel is not good anymore. Stay away from this hotel and be treated better anywhere else.

This has got to be the worse room they put me in since i am coming here. I was really expecting a upgrade or some VIP treatment and that was not the case. Like the hotel but this is not inviting

The street noise was quite loud. I had asked the hotel to change one of the rooms and they were not very helpful until Brayan in the morning at the reception desk was kind and understanding and he changed one of the rooms. The restaurant on the top floor was closed and it was not disclosed and that was very disappointing because the views were one of the reasons I chose this hotel. These things should be clearly stated.

I have stayed here 2 times already and I love it.

We stayed in the hotel because we read very good comments for their breakfast and honestly that wasn't the case. I never received any offer for upgrade and in my bill had snacks we never take. This was removed after I said we didn't took it. Staff in Front and restaurant were great

Fantastic stay

We stayed here many times,and it is always fantastic. Friendly helpful staff, super breakfast and a very nice upgraded suite. 100% perfect. Hotel is in walking distance of several shopping malls and if not walking, the taxis are in front of the hotel.

Bogota above and beyond

Amazing experience, overwhelmed by the excellent service at front desk and at the restaurant, very impressive!! 10 out of 10 for the waiters at the breakfast!! Location is great and safe, walkable, andino mall is just a few blocks away. The room was clean and confortable, didn’t get to use the gym but looked very well equipped

Very nice hotel and friendly staff

The food at the hotel is a bit expensive- got a small bowl of soup and was $10. Also, my bathroom had female hair under the vanity. I checked in an hour early and the staff member did not charge me this time.

No aircondition

Was an ok stay. I checked in 2 hours early and was told I’m being charged $40 , I obliged since I travel for a whole day and needed rest. But feel this was excessive for 2 hours away from my check in. The meals for lunch and dinner are a bit expensive compared to local food, they also ask if you want to tip but don’t show you how much. The front counter staff are super nice and very helpful.

Beware - No A/C!

This hotel does not have air conditioning, ceiling fans, or any ventilation whatsoever in the rooms. There was record warmth in Bogota and the staff would not let me check out

La propiedad en lo general es muy limpia el personal muy amable en especial el ares del restaurante todos son excelente. Ecepto un problema k se fue la luz en el hotel como por 5 horas lo cual me hiso perder una reserva en un restaurante devido a este inconveniente

I like the location of the property and the breakfast. The staff is usually nice, however, I asked them about my upgrade and VIP treatment and they said they knew nothing of such, which changed my vacation mode.

Stolen Ring From Room

Unfortunately, my recent stay at Radisson Metrotel was marred by a distressing incident of theft. Regrettably, my ring was stolen from my room during my stay. Despite bringing this matter to the attention of the front desk multiple times, I was met with promises of follow-up that never materialized. The lack of accountability and communication from the hotel staff, particularly the front desk, was deeply concerning. Despite assurances that they would contact me regarding the theft, I never received any updates or resolution. The only individuals who had access to my room were the housekeeping staff, raising serious questions about the security measures in place. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and distrustful of Radisson Metrotel. It's disheartening to encounter such negligence and lack of responsibility, especially in an industry where guest safety and satisfaction should be paramount. I would strongly advise potential guests to exercise caution when considering a stay at Radisson Metrotel, as my experience highlights significant shortcomings in both security and customer service.

The ceilings of the buildings are substantially too low and the guestrooms are dark and look outdated. Cold atmosphere. For this reasons, I will not go back.

If you don't like to be in a closed environment , then don't stay here , the rooms are big , but windows wont open , NO AC too hot , no breeze at all PLEASE PUT SOME AC in the ROOMS or have the windows able to OPEN and feel AIR !!!!

Really enjoyed my stay

I enjoyed just about everything the hotel had to offer. Service was excellent. I was checked in efficiently (and early!) and was quickly up to my room. The room had a little kitchenette, sitting area, good sized TV (with lots of channels), a huge king sized bed, and nice bathroom. Hotel is an older building but I enjoyed the contrast between the modern room and the older finishings. Asked the front desk for assistance twice and they were prompt and attentive each time. Breakfast had a lot of choice. All sorts of fruits, pastries, cold cuts, various local dishes, and a good variety of hot dishes as well. I stayed a few days and didn't get bored with the choices. Some people complained about the temperature in the rooms but I found my room to be comfortable. Neighborhood was great -- lots of restaurants, shops, convenience stores, etc. within a 5-10 minute walk. Lots going on, always busy. Felt safe every time I went out. Overall a great property. It would be my first choice if I was going back to Bogota.
