Professional reception and check in. I contacted the management for some requests and they were positive and responsive. I appreciated highly their kindness. I had higher expectations given my VIP access/reservation. The hotel is an amazing one, but needs some further renovation including the elevators. I like it overall.

Worst than Zero Stars - DO NOT BOOK

The worst hotel I have stayed in and i’ve stayed in over a thousand hotels in my life. There is nothing 5 star about this hotel. At best, this is a 2 or 3 star hotel. It’s old, damaged, dirty, and staff couldn’t care less. No clean towels and sheets - hotel repeatedly told me every single day of my stay that there were no clean towels they could provide. Bed sheets stink because they don’t have enough sheets to change them. Housekeeping is a joke. The room is not even vacuumed or swept so lots of sand on the floor from the beach. Forget calling down to reception. I’m not even sure why there are phones in the room. No one ever picks up the phone at reception, not even the emergency line. You physically have to go downstairs if you have any questions, and good luck with getting answers. They refused to give us the room category we had booked. They also refuse to turn on air conditioning in the hotel. The halls, elevators, restaurants are ridiculously hot. It was over 40 degrees and no air conditioning. The air conditioning in the room is only set to one temperature. None of the thermostats in the room work so you’re melt in the room too from the heat. This hotel resembles a hostel, but without hostel prices. Do yourself a favour - read all the reviews and go elsewhere for even less money each night. Horrible hotel. Horrible staff. Horrible everything.

It is not to standard

Boring and tasteless

We stayed in the suites an the room was very nice. The only thin that was not so great is that the shower could be cleaner. I only give this hotell 4 stars and that is not because of the shower. It is because the food is very boring and tasteless.

Categorically the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Please do not be sold by the images of the reception area, this is an extremely dated hotel with rooms that look like they are from the 60s! Hygiene is poor, the hallways stink of mould & damp, the rooms are definitely not soundproof, the water from the shower and taps smelt of chlorine, It takes ages to get through to reception and even longer to get things - we had to call 3 times to get an iron, our fridge was broken, our tv didn’t work, the door locks were missing, the balcony door couldn’t be locked, WiFi is awful, a member of staff from reception attempted to walk into our room because they didn’t know our room was taken - the list goes on! I can only assume the positive reviews on here are fake as this is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. For a brand as superior as Radisson Blu, you would expect a certain level of service that this so called hotel failed to deliver. For those that would like a more detailed breakdown of our experience, please see below: After checking in and being taken to our room at approx 1:00pm we noticed that our ‘king size’ bed was just two single beds put together, the balcony door did not lock, the TV didn’t work, the WiFi was awful, there was no tea/coffe making facilities, there were no towels, the water from the shower and taps smelt of chlorine and the room was most definitely not sound proof (you can hear almost everything from surrounding rooms and the hallway). Okay nothing special

Overall it was okay experience. But quality/cost ratio it was not worth it. Nothing special, we had a room on 1st floor garden view. The elevator went out of service the 2nd day and they did not fix it, with a baby stroller it was hard to go in and out. The food was delicious but expensive. The pool is small. The service was good overall. But with the same price you can have better experience in other hotels.

No activate at hotel

Check in was functual and not welcoming. No towel card supplied until asked for. My room was very "red" and dated decor. The balcony door could not lock. The maintenance fixed it, but the cleaner broke it again rhe next day!! Buffet breakfast was very average. Pastries stale. Dinner was limited in choices. Very loud music played around the swimming pool from a speaker that was clearly broken and sounded bad! No where outside the property to easily walk to, so taxis are always needed. I thought Raddison was better than this hotel!?

Très décue de l’expérience. Le radisson blu Hammamet n’est plus ce qu’il était. A l’arrivée, la receptionniste Ons a voulu me faire payer la réservation alors que j’avais déja payé en ligne ce que je lui ai expliqué à plusieurs reprises, elle a insisté plusieurs minutes jusqu’a qu’une de ses collegues n’interviennent. Cette même réceptionniste s’occuper d’ailleurs de plusieurs clients à la fois, son service laissé donc à désirer. Elle m’a donné une chambre avec deux lits simples, alors que j’avais expressément demandé un lit double. J’ai dû insister pour avoir ce que j’avais demandé. Ensuite, nous sommes montés dans la chambre vers 16 heures. Il n’y avait pas de serviette. Nous en avons demandé. En revenant de la piscine et la plage à 19h toujours pas de serviette j’ai dû descendre à la réception pour en demander. Au petit déjeuner, le choix est très réduit, Le personnel de l’hôtel vous demande à plusieurs reprises, si vous êtes bien résident, et vous demande de montrer votre carte pour le prouver. Bref, j’y suis retourné, cinq ans après mon premier séjour, et ce sera la dernière fois, je déconseille cet hôtel.

I would expect better service from five star hotel

high chair problem

The baby high chair was not comfortable and safe. We didn't use it at all during my 8 days stay. I wish there was a model with a tray and a usable belt. He trapped his leg as he tried to get up. A more ergonomic new generation high chair should be preferred. Other than that, everyone was very good.

Food was bad, no coffee or water heater in the room, tv channels are very limited, wifi very week. Overall hotel was nice

This hotel is very big. A little outdated but clean and has amazing views. You have to take a cab if you want to eat outside the hotel but overall a nice place to stay. I have stayed twice now and will use again as for the price paid its very good.

Poor not even 1 star

Reception area is nice though otherwise it was mostly a letdown. Spotty internet and weak signal many plsces, including in my room. Unbelievable for a 5 star hotel. No hot water at all one morning in the shower. Another basic feature that most budget hotels can deliver but for some reason not the 5 star Radison. Beach area nicer on the other more cheap resorts nearby. Buffet resturant is good but you're paying for it.

Highly recommended

Very comfortable room. Excellent view to the sea and hotel. Staff were very friendly, helpful and considerate. I especially like the bathroom it was equipped with muslim douche. The tv was dated, though. And government regulations did not permit air conditioning till 30th May. So the room was barely cool at night.

Family Friendly and Relaxing

Great place to stay with family, with super friendly staff! The pool and the views are amazing. Will be going back again!!

The Guest Relations Manager, Sofia embodies a genuine customer service skills and competencies. She speaks English very well which was to our advantage as we either speak French or Arabic. We would have given the hotel a 5-star rating but we had some problems with our room, that prevented us from sleeping. However, Sofia quickly actioned and upgraded us to a better room, with an apology note and some sweets. Sofia also extended her services by connecting us to a guide and helping us with a lot of things, and tirelessly answering all our questions. We never ran out of them. We will definitely go back.

Great hotel right on the beach

Wonderful hotel right on the beach with lovely views of the sea. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room was beautiful and clean. The beach was so nice!

Not a 5 star standard

nice beach. Very basic service and room. Not the most helpful staff. Just very basic with decent updated bathrooms. I wouldve rated higher if this wasnt rated as a 5 star hotel, which it definitely is not.

Excellent stay

Amazing stay. Very friendly staff. Check in was with Mr. Nassim. Very friendly and accommodating. Ms Sofia was very helpful and caring. Food is great. We got to enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea as the weather ended up to be great.

Fabulous view and Friendly staff!

This is my fourth stay at the Radisson Blu in Hammamet and each time my experience has been wonderful. It’s a child friendly hotel, with a beautiful view, large indoor and outdoor pools, and easy access to their private beach. The staff are always friendly and pleasant and constantly available to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a break, and especially for families.

Beautiful resort - good value in the off season

Beautiful place and a fairly good value I think. Breakfast was great except the coffee was terrible. Service was excellent. Very comfortable and quiet rooms and beautiful location. Not much to pick at. Elevator was VERY small for the size of the resort and would never come down to the pool level. Other than that, I'm sure we'll come again.

Nice location right on the beach. Hotel is very clean and staff are friendly. We had half board. The food was a good mix of western and Tunisian and generally of good quality. Would stay again.

Fantastic Experience!

Fantastic Experience! We spent the prior week exploring Tunisia via day trips from Tunis. Our four nights at the Raddison Blu were to simply relax, enjoy the beach, and recharge. The Raddison certainly allowed us to meet that objective. It is a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and helpful, especially Sophia at guest relations. The buffet breakfast was delicious and very generous. The hotel restaurants serve dinner too but the hotel is within walking distance of some good restaurants and the Medina is a short taxi ride away. The outdoor bar on the 2nd floor is a wonderful place to enjoy the evening under the stars. Plenty of Sun loungers at the pool and on the beach. Staff even sweep the beach to ensure that it is clear of any debris that washed ashore over night. We stayed in one of the suite, and our daughter in a traditional room. Both very comfortable. (The suite was nearly the size of some apartments back home.). Our suite, however, was set-up to accommodate four with extra beds in the living room rather than having a dining table and larger sofa. (Next time we’ll make a specific request.) The Raddison Blu is definitely on our “let’s come back here again soon” list.

Not even 4 stars hotel.

I just can say the beach the only good thing, air conditioning in public areas at the hotel is sucks, if you would like to have lunch for example in cool place you won’t find, because it’s switched off at the restaurant. The pool very dirty I think they haven’t cleaned it for ages. Very bad internet. Towels at the beach it’s been used for ages has to be replaced. Not too much food selection. It’s very limited breakfast and dinner. It’s too long list to say

Nice hotel, my second time

Well the AC does not work because the only turn it on for the month of June and August! a young Front desk clerk will chase you like a thug asking about settle your account charges before leaving and call the door man warning him to stand by until you pay ! It’s crazy ..when I asked him why he behaving that way …he state “ most hotel residents forget to pay “ I can’t make this up

Akta er för poolbaren

Inga kvitton i poolbaren gjorde att jag fick betala dubbelt för våra luncher. Jag betalade kontant varje dag vid poolen men vid utcheckning fanns allt som obetalt! Stressad valde jag att betala allt, igen. Tråkig frukostbuffé och det var längesedan hotellet var fräscht som på bilderna. Sunkigt och inte alls 5⭐️Inte ens nära. Dåligt matutbud, pizza med 3 kilo fet och rinnig ost och hamburgaren var gjord av lammkött. Inte mycket ätbart. Kvälls buffén var däremot helt ok. Personalen trevlig och tillmötesgående förutom vid utcheckningen.

We decided to pay for a premium room with a sea view, but in the room we received the air conditioner did not work and neither did the refrigerator. We called the front desk immediately and they said they would send a technician, who never came. We requested a different room. Our request was denied. Instead they finally sent the technician who concluded that he could not repair the air conditioning. At 10:45 PM we finally got a different room. In the new room the air conditioning was barely working, but it was better than our original room. This is not acceptable for a Raddison Blu.

Very Enjoyable Stay

The hotel is very nice and has magnificent views. The staff was very efficient, and accommodating. My only issue was the bedding. The sheets were avbit “flimsy “ and my kid ng bed was simply two single mattresses pushed together. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Radisson Blu.

Check in was not great and the staff did not explain towel cards system, room had no towels and no soap. For a 5 stars hotel, room was not that clean. Food on the other hand was amazing and staff in the Spa as well as restaurant were very nice.

Open areas were clean and cleaners were very helpful. Spa services were lovely. Improvement: Bed was a little hard and pillows too big. The tiles in the bathroom need bicarb soda scrub over them or regrouting. Room service meals were cold by the time they arrived. Could be improved by putting the plates in a plate warmer. All in all would stay again as the improvements are only little things they could do to ensure its a 5 star stay.

Points positifs : décoration de la chambre, belle vue mer, maître nageur ( short rouge) tres professionnel et accueillant, les espaces sont joliement décorés Technicien sympathique et pro Spa très propre et équipe agréable et professionnelle. Très bon massage. Points négatifs : - Personnel pas qualifié sauf en présence de la direction. On a l'impression que le personnel part en vrille, absence de responsables. - la propreté laisse à desirer - Non respect du code vestimentaire dans la piscine (personnes en chaussures et en short en jean dans la piscine... pas hygienique) - Manager de la restauration (grand maigre avec des lunettes) agressif et désagréable et pas professionnel en refusant des demandes des clients car il est débordé. Selon lui, il n'a pas goûté les plats. Suite à une réclamation, il a dit qu'il y gouterait le lendemain... - Nourriture à fuir - Minibar HS : on nous propose un saut de glacon à 8 dinars. Lamentable.

Except for the one elevator… the property was easy to get around. It was just the eighth size! And the pool and staff so welcoming.

It is clear that the kitchen is short staffed on certain days. On one day it took us more than two hours to get two plates of pasta on the beach. One big issue we have relates to the air conditioning. When we checked in our rooms late at night, it was very stuffy and hot. We turned the AC on but because the room was so warm, it took half of the night for the room to slightly cool off. Hotels usually have the room AC on before a guest check in. Doesn’t make sense Radisson does not do the same. In the hotel lobby and restaurants, the AC is very weak too. Breakfast has good variety of food but service is very hectic.

View from room was great. Room itself roomy and fine. Staff less friendly and helpful than they could have been. Restaurant closed and place understaffed.

Service catastrophique,les serveurs et réceptionniste fonctionne avec les pots de vin,la propreté reste vraiment a desiré,de l humidité dans les couloirs et les chambres,la moquette est salle,la climatisation dans les chambres fonctionne a peine... vraiment hôtel nul de chez nul.

The property was nice but not 5 stars. They room cleanliness was not up to par. The bathroom was dirty and the walls had something on them. The view, pool, beach and restaurants were very nice but I was not allowed in the pool with my bathing suit since it was a long one, which I do not think is fair I do not like showing my body. That ruined our day because we were going to spend time at the pool and beach. We ended up leaving

Ils nous ont mis dans une chambre au-dessus de la piscine chauffée. Nous avons crevé de chaud. Pour un hôtel 5 étoile. Je trouve qu’il ne mérite pas les 5 étoile. Petite chambre petit balcon. Vraiment déçu !!!!!!! Heureusement qu’une seul nuit.

Perfect Stay.

Conveniently positioned near the centre of Hammamet. Beautiful, well maintained hotel, and even though at times there were only a handful of guests, the standards remained.

4 star hotel at most does not deserve 5 starts

it does not deserve the price you pay for the service you get. I have been in others hotels in the same area with better services and with cheaper cost. In plus if you are a VIP, do not expect much of a speacial treatment.

Facilities were really nice, amazing views of the water, and helpful staff. Staff helped me in finding my around to organize a day trip to Sousse and Monastir they were very helpful.

Overall good

As our stay was just for one night I can't fully comment on the total package available for this hotel. However, what I did see was the hotel is in good condition, the dinning area was good and the service was reasonably good. One thing though, the sanitary (covid) gel bottles were empty!

I recommend this hotel because it’s nice.

My weekend spent at Radisson Blu, was beyond pleasurable. Loved how everyone from the concierge to the rooms, every staff member was so friendly and always enquired about our comfort and enjoyment of our stay. I have stayed at bigger hotels in Hammermet before, but this hotel is by far the most welcomed I have ever felt. Would definitely be ontop of my choices for future visits to Hammermet. Thank you!

Nice hotel with a great beach and spa

I really enjoyed my stay in the Radison Blu, not just the great services and cleanliness but specially the amazing help from each employee and the star for sure Haikal in the reception. Radison should be proud to have such great employee

I really enjoyed my stay here although there are a few things to mention. First the positives the rooms are gorgeous and staff are friendly the receptionist offered to give me access to the heated seawater pool without having to pay extra and the view is breathtaking from the sea view rooms. The areas to improve on, well I understand that covid makes the job harder but the breakfast was a disappointment to say the least it was not a buffet and the choices were very limited There are also no other amenities open the indoor pool is closed and so are all the restaurants and bars I had to order room service a lot which was a shame because as I mentioned the view is to die for. Oh and the cleaning lady felt it was necessary to skimp on shampoo and body wash too. Over all I would recommend the hotel but be prepared to need to go out and get food and warning there isn’t much around the hotel so you’ll have to drive to eat.

It is such a beautiful and relaxing environment in this hotel. Amazingly nice staff wherever you go. The cleanliness of the room and the whole place is so satisfying. I have tried their breakfast for three days and I can say it is very delicious and varied throughout the whole stay. And what can I say about the beach and the views..Ohhh..one of the best.. I enjoyed every moment and I will definetly come back again..

Be honest I think it is the best hotel that I have been in my life. Everybody were so helpful plus for the lady in the reception and guest service (unfortunately I don't remember they names). The breakfast wasn't so good but the service make u fell like a king.

The staff was very professional. They adhered to the COVID-19 safety plan in place. An employee visited out breakfast table and took a survey about out stay. Very impressed!

Nice hotel, could be better

Overall a very good stay. I expected a bit more from dinner and breakfast. It was very noisy on the 2nd night of my stay due to party in the complex.

The staff were very friendly and tried their best to help ensure the stay was as comfortable as possible.
