The staff were, as we expected from our previous stay, wonderful. Mercy and Janet at the Reception Desk, Nicholas and Gabriel, and Wilson in Housekeeping. The condition of the property is immaculate! The hotel is definitely of the highest standard.

The staff was wonderful! Mercy and Janet in reception were patient and prompt in answering our questions. Nicholas was amazing in helping us settle into our room. He went the extra mile to work with the reception desk in getting us a more suitable room because the room we were first assigned smelled of fresh paint. Gabriel, the doorman, was just as helpful. Wilson, the housekeeper, did a magnificent job in cleaning our room and making sure we had a good supply of water and coffee! The staff in the Transportation and Tours Desk expertly arranged for a city tour for us. They assigned the most qualified driver, Jaguar. Jaguar did a fantastic job taking us to landmark spots of the city. He did a good job explaining the history and current situation of many of the places he took us to. I recommend him highly for that kind of tour. We got more than our money's worth. We had breakfast and dinner twice in the hotel restaurant. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner is very good--many delicious items. The dining staff, like the other staff in the hotel were courteous and professional. Overall, Radisson Blu, Upper Hill, is among the best hotels I have ever stayed in; and, being a frequent traveler, I have stayed in many! The property is superbly maintained, and the staff is without a doubt, the best!

In 23 years of traveling, I’ve never met a friendlier hotel staff in my entire life. Every person in every capacity was so accommodating, so friendly, and so genuine. The experience is definitely 5 stars and I can’t thank all of you enough for making us feel so welcomed and comfortable.

Perfect Business and Leisure Hotel

Fantastic facility, lovely hotel and staff, everything one needs for business trip

The radisson was pretty comfortable- it looked pretty new and fresh and well kept. The breakfast buffet was actually excellent- surprising selection and quality (would highly recommend getting it included in your room rate as it is much more economical) but extremely limited room service menu (e.g. 2 burgers and 4 entrees), I couldn't seem to get my A/C to work-it was cooling during the day but consistently woke up to a hot room around 3am? If you don't want room service or buffet, only other option is the very expensive/fancy steakhouse or the bar. I had a chicken quesadilla at the bar, it came with no cheese and chicken soaked in soy sauce but Innocent and Peter noticed my concerns and had them remake it properly so kudos to them. Also it took them 20 minutes to check me out (despite having already paid for the room and left a card for incidentals) and then when my uber got delayed they told me they had a taxi outside (for 4x more) so as it was getting late I cancelled my uber and prepaid only to find the taxi was not outside and actually 10 minutes away, which was frustrating particularly since the whole process should have been 3 minutes and not 30 which really matter for those early morning flights.

I liked all the services, room cleaning, hall ways very clean kitchen service brought the food late without complaining it's late and receptionist service were awesome asking whether we need help. As all Radisson Blu is now my place to stay each time I will visit Kenya and recommending it to all the people I know who will visit Kenya. Nothing to complain about Radisson Blu during my stay. It was more than home and thanks to all I interacted with. My God Bless you all and hopefully this corona virus goes in order visitors to come back.

Nice hotel. The bathrooms were super comfortable and it was super easy to relax. I would definitely stay there again.

The issue of charging 60$ for early Check in. The room service/dining was lacking and the smart buttons on the telephone were not functional and part of the card entry system on the door just fell off!

Excellent hotel but you pay for it. We paid almost double than what we did at the Boma. The hotel is very chic. Great food and service. Luxury in one word but was a big much for a transit night. It would have been worth it if we stayed longer.

No Water

Unfortunately one of the most unpleasant stays at any hotel in Nairobi, during my stay there was not hot water (at one stage there was no water) available. The staff were extremely unhelpful and made promises that they new they could not keep, in addition there was no communication from the management team. As a Partner of the Africa Alliance Group (many of our staff and management stay at the hotel) i have instructed our travel agent not to book any member in your hotel again. When checking out I was offered a 20% discount, but due to the fact that we booked via a hotel booking site it could not apply to me. The treatment and communication was extremely unprofessional and reflects very poorly on both Kenya and the Radisson Group.

The hotel itself was absolutely fine and what you would expect for a Radisson. The staff are charming and helpful. The issue was that for three days there was a mix of no hot water and no water as their water pipe had broken, ultimately leading to me and everyone else having to be moved elsewhere. They did without question but it was obviously a bit of a pain.

No water!

There was no water and no communication regarding the status of the water upon check-in by reception. First morning there was a trickle of water, but cold water only! Second morning the guest had to boil a kettle to shave. This is unacceptable for a 5* hotel!! No option given to move to another hotel & we had pre-paid for accommodation - no compensation given - very disappointing!!

Absolutely superb hotel. Room is luxurious and comfortable, food excellent, and the staff are just amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. It was a genuine pleasure to stay at this fantastic hotel.

Great hotel and convenient location for NBO and Wilson airports. Staff were amazing, really helpful with all my endless tourist questions. The front desk helped change some cash which was a big help. Room was big and spotless. We ordered room service as we arrived late, the food came quickly and was really tasty. Would definitely stay again, thank you Radisson Nairobi.

Good 5 star property not very far from airport. I stayed in Radisson Blu hotel Nairobi for 2 nights on a business trip. It took me 15 minutes from the airport on airport taxi. Hotel is new and well maintained. Room are spacious especially washroom with rainfall shower. Check in was very quick and staff was very welcoming and cooperative. Food was very good. Only issue with me was hotel is non smoking and I have to come down for smoking whenever I wanted to. Will highly recommend and stay gain.

Great hotel, excellent service! I have stayed in several places in Nairobi, but the Radisson Blu is a step above the rest. Location is convenient to much of the Westlands, Upper Hill, and the central business area.

Great place. Check in and out was seamless. Staff very polite and nice. Food was good too and the room was amazing. Nice lobby area to chill as well. Great facilities too. Not far from anything if you decide to get a cab or walk around as well. Felt safe and secure as well.

Our running club of 12 adults enjoyed!

This hotel was beautiful, in a great location, and with very good service. We came as a running group for the Nairobi half marathon and had a fantastic time. The staff had no trouble adding a third (rollaway) bed to our 2-single-bed room, the food at the restaurants was good (expensive breakfast, but nice), and they went out of their way to help us fast when our airport transfer (scheduled through our tour company) didn't show- the Radisson staff had us in their own two shuttle cars, with drivers, within 10 minutes. The spa services were good overall; pedicures and facials were slow and a bit underwhelming, but still nice to have after our race.

The room was comfortable and had a bath and shower which is not always available, however it is very expensive.

4 days in Nairobi before heading to Mombasa

Good hotel reasonably close to the westlands area for nightlife and entertainment. Live music/DJ on some nights was a bonus. Will be staying on my way home for an additional 2 days.

Hotel is efficient, drivers available and good, not far from airport and not far from downtown. There are two restaurants and a bar with food, buffets are good. The business center is a little difficult, but staff will print for you. Computers not available. I would stay again. Efficient and clean.

Crowded and Noisy

Stayed 2 nights recently. The hotel is new and modern for kenya but its way too crowded and Noisy. It's difficult to get good rest if your not on a business trip. Room service is quick and efficient but I did choke on cling film in my food. Spa was ok but two separate showers didn't drain properly s9 you end up standing in a pool of water. Please have some bigger tower in the shower, not everybody can wrap themselves in a mini towel. And also more than. 1 face towel. Upside, great location, friendly staff (some), nice bar. My room didn't have a nespresso machine, the housekeeping supervisor kindly brought one to to the room.

Its OK

Impresive hotel from the outside and loby, your room will just be OK.Its clean and comfortable, no convinced the air-conn actually did much. Hotel taxi service is at least 5 times what you'll pay with Uber. Gym is small, and busy so be prepaped to wait for equipment. Pool is outside only. TV channel selction is poor by todays standards, Restaurant choice is fine, but pricey by local standards, although given the area there is very little choice.

Cosmopolitan hotel in Nairobi

Very cosmopolitan, staff were prompt efficient and service was good. Nice decor v good facilities and well presented. Two negative points - the food at the fresco bar was at best mediocre and we had a serious of rather annoying power cuts.

Beautiful hotel, good service, meals average

The hotel was beautiful, from the reception area to the rooms and the bathrooms. The general service of staff was also good except when the hotel was busy, especially in the bar area. I found the meals and beverages to be expensive and at the food not at the consistent quality I would have expected and for some reason, breakfast was not included in my rate which I cannot understand.

The hotel is amazing. Rooms could be updated for the price they charge.
