Amazing, unique hotel with so many plus points! The convenience, cleanliness, food, friendly staff, views, rooms with everything you need. Fabulous A*
Arrived around 1030pm. No one at the front desk. We had a junior king suite and the brown carpet looked gross and the smell in the room was off. Only 1 bath towel for the two of us. After some rummaging and finally finding the cupboard , we found 2 bath robes so it became my towel If you didn't put the lid down on the toilet before flushing you got sprayed All in all not at all impressed with this very expensive hotel
Super !

Good place to stay in case you need access to the TGV station
Muy mal trato de atención al cliente
Un solo personal del front desk muy mal actitud, mal educado que hasta le dijimos a otro personal y no nos prestaron atención del inconveniente. Nos fuimos al día siguiente inmediato.
Outside Tourist areas, Lovely hotel.
Tourist trip. Tram and bus in front of hotel. Very useful. However hotel not in any tourist area. Corporate setting. Huge5 story Mall next door. Closed on Sundays. Room nice. Slippery shower floor. Needed towel on floor to not slip. Breakfast fine. Manager solicitous.
This hotel is located within steps of the Lyon Part Due train station and the Westfield mall. It is an easy mile walk to old town. The lobby and check in is on the 32 floor, and the rooms go up from there. I don’t know if that caused the noise to carry or if it was just extra loud. Several times large groups were in the lobby chatting, and there was some kind of event with a loud DJ and lots of cheering.
The area is not the best. The rooms are not sound proofed. You are able to hear everyone and everything around you.
Lived up to our expectations
The parking situation is so strange and requires you to walk through one of the most unsanitary parking garages I’ve ever encountered. The room is pretty beat up. Paid more for a “scenic view” but realized once I got there that it’s all the same - the up charge was meaningless. No robes, which is weird for 4 stars.
Great view.
Excellent location
finding the hotel and parking is kind of difficult. but overall a great hotel and great price. staff was helpful
Proximity to train station and walkable to key tourist sites.
A/C
The room was ok. But there was no A/C in the room we slept at 28C. So we did not have the best sleep. We did ask for a fan but it did not help very much….
Well placed hotel with views.
I had a good quiet room with great views. The room however did not get below 24 for whole stay despite aircon being on maximum. It was however heatwave conditions. There are not enough staff on reception so expect delays checking in or coming down to address an issue. Staff were great when you could get to them. The food at the restaurant was not great. There are plenty of other food options nearby. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Lyon.
The room are too small and I have a bad smell
There was nothing about this property that warrants recommending it to anyone
Staff friendly and welcoming. Room modern, spacious and clean.
The staff was so friendly and professional , my concern was about the lack of the food and beverages facilities , the only bar and restaurant opens at 5 PM !! In such a big hotel that starts from floor 32 ! The major issue was ordering water tonorrow from the lobby at 11 30 at night and the answer was " sorry the bar is closed " so the client has to go out and look for a marketvand get Water !!! R u serious !
The front desk were brilliant but the staff in the restaurant and bar were a little slow, with forgotten drinks, and cold food.
Great hotel, very close to part-dieu station and tramway. Would definitely stay again.
Housekeeping didn’t come to the room one day, another day they didn’t change the dirt coffee cups in the room but just flipped them. One bed had a ripped comforter, and beds with stained dirty bed skirts. Dirty hotel with poor service. The only good thing is the hotel location next to Westfield mall.
The good things about this property was close to the mall train station to the old town
Restaurant was not functioning for dinner; only snacks. The lobby was filled with convention participants, so at times it was impossible to walk around.
Our stay at Radisson Blu was perfection. The view is second to none, the staff from top to bottom were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and didn’t want to leave. On our next trip to Lyon, we won’t consider anywhere else to stay.
Room and bathroom really nice bed super comfy -- a couple of English TV channels - great views as the hotel is on the top 7 or 8 floors of a 40 story building - easy 10 min walk to the train station and also the shuttle tram to the airport - MUCH cheaper than a cab - buffet breakfast fine - bar and dining room perfectly OK but limited selections - a huge shopping mall is steps away - other than this a bit out of the way from attractions and the rivers
Staff needs some customer service training g
Some of the staff appeared uninformed of customer service, for example complained about is not using the laundry bags for our laundry when none was provided, would not extend our trip at the front desk asked us to go thru Expedia and then locked us out of our room, then gave us dirty towels when we requested clean ones, we requested twin beds and when they didn’t we were told to slept all our luggage back down and get a new key.
We had a nice stay but the hotel didn't tell us about our free Expedia beverage and had no concierge to ask about things in the city
Stayed here about 9 years ago. The location is easy access to Lyon Part-Dieu train station.
Good staff and service. The room was clean with a lovely view. The breakfast was very good. I had a larger car, so the parking was a little tight. You have to leave the garage to get to the elevator for the reception. The reception is on the 32nd floor and the hotel is attached to a large Westfield mall.
The View is incredible! Ate dinner in lounge area just to see the view from another part of hotel! Wow!
Very close to the train station
Excellent emplacement, près du centre-ville, de restaurants et de la garre se trains.
When I checked in at 2.15pm I was as told I was too early but he he would check and my room was available not very welcoming. The room was very hot and the air conditioning didn’t make the room any cooler it just stayed at 26 degrees far too hot! The shower in the bathroom also flooded the bathroom floor everything it was used.
Great location, comfortable rooms, very friendly staff.
Convenient location, nice view
The hotel is located above 32nd floor of the building. I bet it is almost the tallest building in Lyon. The view is great. Located next to a major mall and central train station. Very convenient and well-connected by transit
Nice hotel … but
Nice hotel. Contemporary design with rooms arranged around an atrium. Lobby and rooms on the upper floors of a mixed use building. Overall a positive hotel experience. One significant exception - the neighbourhood. It’s a short distance from the main Lyon train station and even on a Sunday you can easily walk to the hotel through the large shopping mall next door. A few steps past the hotel entrance and you begin to feel uncomfortable very quickly -especially after dark. And do NOT take the underground passage to the trains - even during the day the place is creepy. So, if you can work around the drawbacks of location, it’s a very nice hotel at a reasonable price point.
Great views
The views are amazing. The rooms are spacious. The only negative was that the breakfast was only warm. It is an easy tram ride to the old city.
One night stop over which was very comfortable
It was the way it was described
I recommend this hotel for its safety close to a Great Shopping mall, and 15 minute walk to the old town. And even closer for many nearby restaurants
location. small rooms
Make sure to walk through the mall if your are heading from the train station (do not follow google maps directions). Lack of direction tips from the hotel (although the hotel sent multiple emails to upgrade rooms or pay for some extra decorations/amenities for the room). The view from the room is nice (reception is on the 32nd floor). Located beside a mall, but the entrance is not too welcoming or safe. The staffs were not too welcoming & they didn’t set up the key properly, so we had trouble getting into our room. The shower is not designed well (very slippery & the floor would get soaking wet after a shower). Very noisy room (not too soundproof) so you can heard neighbouring rooms & also the reception as all the noise echos up. Note: there is no housekeeping after 10pm as the housekeeping staffs have left, so you cannot request for extra towels or toiletry at night. They said they would bring it up to us in the morning, but never did, so we had to go down to request for it again the next day.
Conveniently located near the main train station.
Professional and Friendly
great views, good breakfast
This hotel is terribly inconvenient to get to if you are arriving by car. Nothing on their website tells you that you have to drive through bus lanes and along trolley tracks that read "Do not enter" to motorists in order to get there. Once we were finally "talked in" over the phone by a hotel employee, the parking situation was a nightmare. It was in a disconnected underground garage that required us lugging our bags up and down stairs to get to the hotel. Parking fees were exorbitant. The entry to the hotel smelled like urine. We watched a woman get her phone stolen out of her hands by a pickpocket a block from the hotel. The rooms were TINY. Upon checkout, we asked for the parking fee to be charged to the room, so we paid the fee at checkout. The clerk forgot to give us an exit ticket for the garage, so we when tried to leave, we could not get out. We ended up just paying another $25 at the exit gate just to leave because we didn't want to repark and walk all the way back to the hotel and up to the 23rd floor lobby again. We just wanted to be done. Very frustrating stay.
The air conditioning does not keep the room cool. It was very difficult to sleep. If it’s warm out your room will be an oven. The staff were friendly but they couldn’t solve the problem.
Staff amazing. Roads near hotel confusing if driving. Need a better “gps”address for guests with cars. Otherwise a perfect stay.
Avoid at all costs of travelling by car.
The Hotel is impossible to access by road due to work being carried out at the Station. Spent over two hours trying to reach it by car following the directions given and Waze, Apple, Google etc. The help desk was closed for the weekend. Ended up having to book the Sofitel. Complained and they refused a refund.
Great location when you can find it
Great hotel in an easily accessible location if the roadworks and diversions weren’t in place. The sat nav doesn’t take you to the hotel and the car park is not designed for larger cars. Other than that, the actual hotel is well designed with a continental breakfast available and next door to the Westfield but a short walk from the old town
Hotel itself was lovely. Due to construction works however the car park is not easily accessible and the signage telling you where to go for parking is abysmal. We spent 1 1/2 hours driving round in circles trying to find it. Suggest they make it clear on the emails when booking or put out better signage.
A/C was out. Person on a night shift lectured me on how to make it work. Showed up. Said to wait. Played with it 30degree celsius all night. Not very helpful.
Great views and friendly staff but it is currently hindered by the worst possible access and parking.
Disappointing
Rooms were small for the cost - hotel entrance is in a somewhat run down area. The cost of a cocktail in the bar was more that twice the cost in the local bars
The hotel was clean and the view was lovely. However, the dining room was never open for dinner and the Italian Restaurant had a very limited menu. When traveling , one would expect to be able to count on the hotel to provide safe food and lodging. We had to walk all over to try to find a restaurant. This is not acceptable. When our room was cleaned, there was no toilet paper provided. When we called to have some brought up, a partial role was sent up.
Everything was very good except too long of a wait at check in because the Frontdesk is understaffed.. Great location for the train.
Great hotel in a good location next to a shopping mall. Plenty of dining options within an easy walking distance.
Late arrival check in was he.pfu. after our delayed flight
The property is walkable especially for shopping and viewing sites. The room that we had, has the beautiful view of the city of Lyon. We were satisfied with the staff and customer service.
An excellent choice while in Lyon
The hotel is within easy walking distance of Gare de Lyon Part-Dieu. We were greeted by Michel, who provided excellent information in both English and French. Our room is superb! Stunning views of the beautiful city of Lyon, clean and comfortable bathroom, and nice appointments throughout the room. Great breakfast, too,
Walkable to the Train station. Also, next to a shopping mall with lots of food options, shopping, hair and nail salons. I only stayed there one night prior to taking a train, so it was perfect !
This property is right next yo Westfield ahopping centre and very close to the Part Dieu train station so offers excellent connections.
Property was clean and well kept. Nice hotel for the area at a reasonable price. Convenient location for shops and public transport
We were in a 39th floor view room. En Francais....encroyable
Never again
This was one of worst hotel I ve been Room smells awfully. Worn out. Extremely small garage approach… Walk from garage to hotel is dirty way around.
This hotel is in the new area of Lyon so it’s a metro ride to the old city and the city center. There is a very large multi level mall next door which is great for breakfast and shopping.. plus the metro is right there !! Very convenient! The reception is on the 32nd floor and rooms start at 34 .. so it is one of only 3 high rises in Lyon ! Therefore nice views . Beautiful and modern architecture although the carpet in rooms needs replaced. The staff is knowledgeable and sincere. The room are relatively smallish ( although we had a superior room ) That said , the toilet area is even smaller than expected.
Comfortable hotel conveniently located near the major train station.
Our stay was very good and all the service was great. The only point I want to make it is the access from the parking to the hotel. If you arrive by car there's no easy way to go to main entrance. It was a bit of struggle for us with 4 large bags.
I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the location ease of transportation and shopping, professionalism of the staff, and the general atmosphere. It will be my place to stay everytime I am in Lyon
Direction by car difficult due to roadworks. Compact room
Very nice views of Lyon from the 37th floor. The room was good but rather tight or small for two. Well maintained property.
The property itself was fine - parking was a disaster. Had to get assistance from a staff member in order to access the garage where my car was - even the staff member needed help from others. The staff where extremely kind and accommodating
Staff was very helpful and accommodating
Excellent Stay
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this location at first because it’s about 1.5 miles from Vieux Lyon, but it turned out perfectly. Having that huge mall right outside the entrance is super convenient, and once you learn the tram and metro, which is simple, getting to historic Lyon is quick. A tram station is also right outside the front door. The final plus is Gare Lyon Part Dieu train station is close. Would definitely stay again.
The hotel is in a dated property but is fine. Convenient to station and Westfield shopping Center. An initial glitch - giving us a room that was already occupied - was quickly corrected.
Quality stay near trains
This is a nice hotel. Comfortable, breakfast is excellent. Most of the staff was nice (one rude at reception but seems to be an anomaly). Great view of the city. Reasonably close to the train station. A little hard to find the entrance on foot (it's on the ground floor - take elevator to 32). It's not over the footbridge, stay at street level. If driving it's different.
They were very helpful and friendly and made our stay really enjoyable. The VIP perks were great and much appreciated!
Wonderful stay
Very nice and clean hotel. I stayed on the 36th floor, wonderful view. Walking distance to the old town. Loved everything about Lyon
Nice and clean. I love that we had control of the room temperature. The staff was very nice as well.
Overall the hotel is a great location and is a comfortable stay. Just don’t go to the bar for a drink where the service was slow and then I was shocked at the price. €11 for a pint of beer is ridiculous.
Great location. Right near the train station and largest mall.
This is a very nice high rise hotel. It is in a large complex of new and under-construction buildings. There was no way to go out and walk to a nice neighborhood. The parking garage was so very complicated and difficult to access. The menu in the restaurant was unimaginative. It was my mistake to book this hotel.
Beautiful Hotel
Overall a very pleasant stay. The interior is stunning and the views from the room and the bar are amazing. My only issue was that the air con did not seem to be working in the room or in the public areas of the hotel - it was very hot which wasn’t great in warm weather.
An excellent hotel in a great location
It was a 25-minute walk to Old Lyon crossing two rivers, which was not too far for me, a 60+ year old female. Les Halles Paul Bocuse is very close. If you're a classical music lover, the orchestra auditorium is just next door. Also, a 5-minute walk to the Lyon Part Dieu train station. So a great location! The immediate Part Dieu area is quiet and there are bus lines that one can take.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very convenient to the train station and a little bit of a walk into the old town. The room was nice, no complaints at all! We weren't told of any of our VIP options at check-in, so we didn't utilize any perks.
Great location but rooms on the small side
It was a great stay in a nice neighbourhood and close to transport. The rooms were a lot smaller than expected so if you’re after something spacious then I’d maybe look at alternatives. Room was clean and furnished with high quality fittings and the staff were helpful.
Fine good location, great view As usual in France the room waa small
There was quite loud construction going on until around 9:30 in the evening on the lower levels of the building. Staff understandably said their hands were tied since it was above their pay grade, they offered me some dessert as compensation. Still a bit inconvenient if you want an early night to catch a train for a flight the following morning
It is perfect room!
We have been travelling through small villages in France, staying at small hotels, it is nice to be able to book a hotel with all amenities. I required a room on a higher floor, I got 39th floor! The view is amazing from my room. The room has many plugs, which is perfect for me! Charging my camera batteries, laptop, iPad, phone all at the same time!
Disgusting sewage smell
Upon arrival we checked in, was a very unfriendly and non-communicative member of staff who gave me a form to sign up to marketing, which I told him I wasn’t doing and he still signed me up for marketing, however I’ve now unsubscribed. The rooms were okay, however there was a disgusting smell of sewage in our room and around the general area of the hotel. Not satisfactory for a 4 star hotel and I won’t be staying there again.
The worst parking experience in the world. It is tooooo narrow to get in or get out. The gate will close before you complete your exit leaving you trapped between it and the way out. Had scratched my car costed me € 1100. Never come back again
Not recommended
What can I say about this hotel – nothing positive I am afraid. If you have a large car, you will not get into the garage and if you do risk it then it is like trying to get out of a maze and add 30 minutes to your journey time to achieve this feat and reach the reception on the 36th floor. When you arrive there, you will be greeted by surly staff who lack any form of customer service ethic and find it an irritation to even talk to you. That was the same throughout the whole stay. To calm down you decide to head to the bar for a quiet drink and a glass of wine and a beer. That will set you back € 20 and do not try to use the restaurant as the grumpy reception staff will tell you it’s full. If you think a stroll and some dinner is the next step then you will be disappointed as there is nothing near the hotel. So in summary – find another hotel and fast!
parking lot was a little difficult to get to due to construction. Everything else was great
Very freindly team, helping each other for the best benefice of the clients. Exceptional location with breathaking view of lyon. Very centraly located. I highly recommend this hotel
Lovely stay
It was nice. Checking in and out were both quick and efficient, although I didn’t realise that they take a deposit of 50€ per night even if you have a card on file. Got a complimentary water bottle on check in. Very clean and modern and service oriented. No room service during COVID, so they recommend using Uber eats. A breakfast bag is brought to your room. No vegan options, but they did their best to cater to my needs. Nice and convenient location just next to the mall.
Please don’t delay returning money owed
My experience has not been good because money was taken from my credit card as security and it has not been returned. Even more disappointing is that I sent an email reminder and there has been no response. I even attached documentation to support my request.
