Great stay, would return.

I had a wonderful stay highlighted by a good location & views, excellent service from front desk & restaurant personnel. Minor gripes with the room being: - please thoroughly clean/steam the carpets as they are dirty - please vacuum room thoroughly especially near and under bed as there were debris and crumbs lying about Other than that, things were lovely and I would return.

The room condition is definitely not what I expected for this quality of hotel and at this price point. The carpets are stained, my first room smelt really bad I had to change rooms in the middle of the night, the shower floor and walls were stained and clearly unclean. Simply put ‘I was grossed out’. I got a much cheaper hotel in Lekki Phase 1 and it was night and day. Way better for less.

I loved the fact how when you arrive you immediately are greeted by tight security. I like the safety that's established . Staff were friendly and helpful. The ambience was great especially at nighttime. Clean, well kept, and the lakefront views were nice. All 3 of the restaurants were good. Food was delicious! The room was very spacious and cleanly. I only wished they had a microwave inbthe room. Nonetheless, Iwould definitely stay here again. 9/10 !

Ease of check-in

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff, from the cleaning crew to the front desk, were exceptionally helpful. However, I did encounter a minor issue at the restaurant. They declined my US dollar bill due to a small ink stain, which seemed insignificant to me.

A fabulous stay! I was there for a few days and spent time with friends as well as time for myself. Meals were delicious. The staff was so friendly and helpful! Love this place in Lagos!

A special brand for this hotel is the quality of their staff across all levels and functions. You can expect the same level of excellence from the cleaner as you would from the manager - they all love to interact proactively. They also regard themselves as one-stop entry points. They have no problem accepting your complaint about your television in the restaurant.

Refused refund even though we booked wrong hotel with very similar name. Poor customer service.

Its my 1st time traveling in Nigeria. I got the chance to experience the local food. Coconut rice is definitely better outside Radisson. Service was exceptional here. Server, waitress, housekeeper doing a great job without expecting anything in return. Unlike some area like warri, every service they provide, they wait for you to tip them. Maybe bathrooms need to be updated. But overall, our stay was memorable here.

Poor service

I needed help to make a change to my booking due to an issue with Hotels com - it would have been the same booking (days and value) but Radisson would not help. This was very disapointing and poor service from both Radisson and Hotels com

A good choice for Victoria Island, but still not in a nice neighbourhood. Take care in the area and make use of Uber or get your own driver. Transportation is pretty sketchy these days. Suggest booking a hotel car airport pick up. Taxis and Uber are a nightmare.

The staff was very professional and very accommodating for any special needs that we had! There was never anything that we needed that they did not provide from check in to check out. This is the hotel I will always stay at when I come to Lagos!

This is an overrated hotel. Please remove the art work on the wall, it does not look good at all. Why would you put someone as a art work😞 Also, dirty rooms, noisy lobby, and stinky environment. I still haven't received my refund yet; y'all better refund my money. The staff were good! The lake view was nice, but the overall vicinity was not comforting and welcoming to me....

The staff was amazing was the facility. I felt very comfortable staying here.

Every single person - from the reception to the restaurant to housekeeping - are incredibly warm and helpful. I was a bit disappointed with the general cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms, general area and amenities. The ground floor path to the gym was smelly, the towels in the pool side were mostly torn and discolored, and some of the fixtures in the bathroom were wobbly. But for a business trip, it’s fine because you don’t spend too much of your time inside the hotel.

Both hotels.com & the hotel were bad. There are better hotels and better places to reserve a hotel

Very good all round! Room service could have been better, food was not expected. I ordered a seafood soup via room service, completed underwhelmed, all of the seafood was cut or crushed into little bits, a very expensive meal for not a lot of food.

The staff was nice. I was able to pay more to check in earlier. The hallway leading to the room had a musty, horrendous scent. I mentioned this to the staff and they seemed to spray something that subsided the smell. In my bathroom, I was really disappointed to see dust in corners. It is as if no one had cleaned the bathroom. I mentioned this but nothing was done. This was extremely disappointing because I was expecting way more from Radisson especially with the price that I payed.

This hotel should stop charging those exorbitant prices for the terrible conditions! The room hallways had a terrible smell! My room had broken amenities including a cracked sink, a trash container without a cover and a broken safe. I would not stay at this hotel again. For the money they charge you would expect at the minimum facilities that match up to a Holiday Inn. This hotel needs a serious overhaul or renovations. Stop charging high rates for poor amenities! The staff were kind and serviceable but you cannot continue to make your staff apologize for your terrible amenities!

A place like home

Fantastic, safe, and secure hotel Ung facility on the island. Location is quiet and central, away from the bustling activities of Lekki. Facility is clean and well maintained.

The property felt very secure; rooms had stair access, which is nice when there are rolling power outages. Unfortunately, there was an overwhelmingly strong mildew/moldy odor and the tap water was clearly unhygienic.

This hotel had brown water running from the taps. I also had my bed made with a stained sheet- at some point I thought I was being pranked...overall terrible for the amount of money they charge. Will not stay here again.

It was a very sad experience staying at Radisson Blu Anchorage Victoria Island, Nigeria. The moment I entered the room it was stinking, didn't expect such an expensive hotel to turn out into such a huge disappointment. The service in the hotel was pathetic and also during checkout I was made to wait for more than 45 minutes because the hotel staff didn't have Naira to give me back. Finally I had to ask them to call their Front Office Manager (Ms. Maureen) to intervene. Honestly speaking we travel to Nigeria every month from Dubai by will never be there nor will I recommend anyone to stay in this hotel in the future.

Lovely views of the ocean

Strengths: The Radisson was safe and the facilities were nice. Right by the water so great views, staff were professional, restaurant and dining options were present, the room and hotel was nicely decorated, available tv channels, and the hotel was appropriately priced. Weakness: The wifi signal could have been much better.

Good customer services and nice environment

Paid extra for a lagoon view with lounge access which wasn’t worth the price. The bathroom needs to be renovated, not up to a 3 star standard. Hot shower not hot enough, AC too cold. Hallway smelled like vomit. Business lounge very small. Paid a lot of money to add full breakfast which was not worth the price. The hotel is very quiet, older crowd. I wouldn’t come back.

The service at the terrace was excellent. She was extremely courteous. Overall, it was a very good experience.

This is definitely the hotel to stay in Lagos

This is hands down one of the best hotels in Lagos. I spent a week at the continental hotel, and I would only recommend it to people I terribly detest. To check into the radisson after that, was wonderful delight. From the moment security allowed me in through the doors, I realised I was in the right place. Every single person/staff I dealt with and encountered was professional and courteous, obviously well trained. You don’t get the typical bad behaviour that unfortunately is prevalent amongst people working in hospitality in Nigeria. The bed was very comfortable, air conditioner worked excellently, the linens were in good condition. Truth is, there was nothing to fault here. Breakfast was great, service was good. I highly recommend this hotel as the place to be, and this is the only place I will ever stay henceforth.

Great hotel and stay

Peaceful yet filled with great energy...the buzz of happy people talking, listening to music, being in a great place. I love coming here for a quick get away from the routine! Love the pool and the wonderful view of the busy Lagoon.

Two night stay before heading back to the states. Trip almost started as a disaster because we didn’t have our passports with us. They require it for check in. Thank God we had a photo with us. Excellent stay. Transport from airport was made prior to arrival. Extremely comfortable room with plenty of space to lounge. I took advantage of the pool. We did eat both nights at the hotel. Buffet dinner was wonderful with plenty of options. Room service the next day was perfect. Saw the gym, spa and lower level boutiques. Didn’t use, but so nice to know that it was there. Would definitely stay again if on VI.

I loved my stay! Johnson offered the most hospitable check-in! He was attentive and very friendly! At the pool, which was clean and well-maintained, I was able to sit and enjoy the view while enjoying burgers and a great glass of wine with my son. The room was clean and modern. There are slight signs of aging, but they didn't impact my stay. The buzz at the hotel is fabulous! Great breakfast buffet, live music and happy people. I thought the Covid rules were in place and followed by the employees (not all guests). Definitely returning!

Staff are pleasant however the operations can be run more efficiently eg check in time was about 30 minutes and at about 7pm they were not ready for the dinner buffet There was an offensive smell in my room in the early hours of the morning however this was sorted out after complaining; I was moved to a bigger room Also the manager in the morning called to apologize

Rude shift manager and staff ruined my stay.

Staff at check in were extremely rude and not helpful at all when trying to work out how I could change the name on my reservation. I was left at reception being ignored even when I asked the shift manager to speak to the person who made the reservation she refused to take the phone and acted like I wasn’t there. It was only until the agent from hotels.com called then that they began to treat me with a little bit of dignity and respect. I was left extremely angry and feeling like I wasn’t a valued guest. All in all a awful experience and I will not be booking this hotel again.

Outdated, Musty Room and Brown Water, Overpriced

Took a long time to check in. Only 2 people working and very slow on a Friday. Staff not friendly at check in. Hallways smelled of must and cleaner. Room was very outdated for the $200 USD. The water was also brown. I checked out and went to Continental where the water is clean.

The tap water was coloured, felt disgusting using it. The carpet, beddings and furniture look poorly maintained.

Radisson Anchorage Blu - October 2019

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Security at the front gate and main entrance is professional. Breakfast and dinner are good. Beds are very comfortable and shower is hot.

It was just ok.

It wasn’t a bad but it was not the kind of service I expected from Radisson Blu. It was one problem to another from the moment I checked in. The rug and windows were dirty. And oh, “Complimentary” breakfast/dinner doesn’t come with a bottle of water which I find completely ridiculous. The management should do better when it comes to their guest. But overall, it wasn’t a bad stay.

Excellent hotel

It was my first stay at the hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent right from the check in from the lovely Temi. So efficient and certainly one of the best reception staff I've come across. nothing too much trouble. Even bought my room key personally once ready. A diamond. The breakfast buffet was very good and the egg chef cooked very good scrambled eggs. A rare thing in Africa. Very nice spacious rooms with excellent amenities. I will certainly stay again next time I am in the area

Check in was a horrible as I was hit with additional charges before I could be checked in as they say the room comes with breakfast for two even though I booked it a month prior to arrival stating I was travelling with two kids. I was sent to accounts before I could be checked in. Not the service you would expect from a 5 start hotel. When we finally checked in , I was given a room where the air conditioning did not work and the Tv needed to be tuned . A maintainable man came and opened the ceiling while we were still in the room( pic available). We were finally moved to a different room as the air conditioning unit needed to the cleaned.

The hotel is over rated. The deco of the room is below the standard of my expectation. The carpet in the room that I stay had stains and in the bathroom the shower had conditioner and shampoo not body wash The reception of the hotel is nice as expected. I have lodged in better hotels in Ikeja and just fancied a change of scenary

If it was just the stained carpet in the room it would be okay. But the mold smell from the air conditioners gave a headache and messed up my sinuses. The shower doesn’t drain, the air conditioning leaked in my suitcase I had to spread an hour before checking using the hairdryer to dry the contents of my luggage. The beddings were filthy, and it took an hour and a half to locate clean bedding. Not sure why this place is even listed on Expedia?

Nice hotel with infinity pool on the lagoon. Hotel smells really good and is very clean. Try not to look much at the lagoon cos it is filthy lol. Staff were super friendly and let me check out late at 6pm with no extra charges cos flight was at 11pm. Will definitely stay again

I enjoyed this hotel because of beautiful ragoon view under high security. Other person except hotel customers can not enter inside hotel and even corridor of room because of security system. Customers are facinated by beautiful ragoon view from restaurant, bar and tea place.

Very bad experience

Decent business hotel

The hotel is very good as a business hotel. Overall service is excellent and everything is clean and well looked after. The coffee in the lobby bar was the best I have had anywhere in Africa (especially the service and attention to detail from the gentleman serving in the lobby bar around 7am on Tuesday 17th April). The only thing that really let my stay down was the fact that my king bed was actually made up of two single mattresses that were placed together, rather than one single king mattress. This was annoying as it meant sleeping on one side of the bed or the other but was uncomfortable to sleep in the middle where the mattresses came together. Apart from that, was a decent stay although can't say there was real wow factor that would make me want to stay again (except the good coffee).

Waterfront cool

First off, I’m biased because upon check-in I was upgraded to what I can only call the Presidential Suite. OMG. Seemed a waste considering it was just me traveling, but I very much enjoyed he living room area, gigantic bathroom, etc. having a second bathroom and a dining room was just vulgar (in a good way!). Food service is very good. Breakfast buffet has a wide selection, outdoor dining is very attractive. Live music on weekend evenings. Convenient location not far from multiple dining options. Nicely situated on the waterway separating Victoria Island from Ikoyi. Just don’t look too closely at the water— it’s incredibly dirty. (Not uncommon to see garbage floating on top of other garbage; used condoms regularly spotted on the dock were very likely not used right there... needless to say, look but don’t touch this water!) Very friendly staff. Good security out front includes vehicle and bag screenings. Amazing ice cream at a dessert place in the parking lot. Highly recommended, will likely stay again next time I’m in Lagos. Only problem: must have been a major leak before we got there, because the hallway smelled incredibly musty. Work was being done to remedy, but it didn’t seem like something that had just happened. Hopefully the hallway will be back to normal very soon.

Adorable

The hotel is conveniently and well located in one of the most well known and ever busy roads in highbrow Victoria Island. Breakfast was nice with variety of choices inclusive of local delicacies. The hotel generally has a fantastic ambiance that is appealing and tempting. The lure of luxury is evident in the location, architectural design and class of guest. The concept of locating the pool just by the lagoon is fantastic, beautiful and add a touch of glamour to your swimming experience. The room is large, generously spacious and beautiful. The bed is big and very comfortable. The design concept of the toilet is elegant and astonishing. Staff are friendly and courteous. I enjoyed my stay and i look forward to another stay. The only negative are the permanent stains on the bedside rug (carpet) which gives it a dirty appearance and the noise from the central air conditioning system. Otherwise it is a fantastic and beautiful hotel.

Amazing hotel!

Amazing hotel! But not very family friendly. No activities for kids except a little outdoor play area. Could be better on that.

Great location, spacious rooms and helpful staff

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at the Radisson. I see no reason to go anywhere else. Everything works, the location is good for business meetings and there is a great terrace bar next to the river. Had a problem with a room on arrival and they found me another room without a problem. I'm looking forward to my 4th stay.

Nice hotel, staff really friendly, Perfect location to get around in the island. Only downside is that they don’t have an amazing selection of food and it’s quite pricey for The type of food the sell as it’s not that great.
