Magical place!
Very peaceful place, very friendly helpful staff. Located in a beautiful natural area and lots of amazing things to see when you borrow a free bike from the treehouse resort. Our room was beautiful and had a swing, Bath, lots of levels to explore, being able to light a little fire and enjoy the sounds of the jungle in the evening
This is one very unique resort to have a holiday at. The entire compound feels very tranquil, very rustic, and all the treehouses in the resort provide a sight to behold. For a Treehouse, we found the interior to be clean and comfortable, and all that we needed were provided in the house. The weather at this time of the year was great, and perhaps that was why we also didnt see any mosquitoes around. Food was excellent. Service was warm, and personalised. The children have said the treehouse was the most enjoyed aspect of our trip this time. Definitely highly recommended!
A very special place! They have really thought of everything to make the area lovely and they take care of the details to create a warm environment. The food was extra delicious too.
Bad experience
Reserve the star room n when reach there, we already in the room but get to move to other room by the resort person in charge. We are very disappointed. Reply to confirm transport b4 1 day late evening. Pls improve the service. Thanks
Such an awesome place!!
We stayed here 1 night and loved it. The tree houses are amazing and the grounds are beautiful. The food is very good and they have beers and other drinks to purchase. We were the for the beginning of the rainy season so we got to see fireflies at night ... amazing!! They have bikes available to ride if you want to go see the bat cave and the red sand hills. I recommend adding the sticky waterfall tour and taking the boat if your going back to Chiang Mai. We would definitely stay here again!
Great stay if you’re adventurous. Food was fantastic! The staff and owner were very pleasant. Need new bikes. We really enjoyed seeing all of the animals on the property.
memorable experience
I'm planning the next time! local market, waterfall, biking, sunset seeing, bat cave, red sand, handcraft doing and animals friendly! all of this wonderful memory!!!
Had a lovely time, wished we could have stayed longer than the one night we had. Used the free bikes to explore the area. And the dinner we had was some of the best food we had on our trip!
Family fun
Very nice property, houses very unique and fun for the kids; fun activities like fishing in the stream that runs through the property, sunset point, sticky waterfalls not far, campfire next to your house. Food is served family style and tasty. Our kids (6 & 11) really enjoyed it. Beds not comfortable, a one night stay was enough for us, and a little pricey for what is offered; walls and windows allow any and all noise through. Overall fun for the family though.
Picturesque resort in a small town
Absolutely adorable treehouse resort, feels like you're in a movie. To top it off it is a small family owned business where the father designed and built all of the tree houses. :)
Definitely go, but not for too long
The Treehouse is situated around 70km outside of Chiang Mai. So put the name and rural location together and you should quickly get the idea that this place is not for the city dweller! As a couple liking to get out in nature, we found the treehouses very quaint and comfortable. Took a few pictures which have been jealously commented on by friends back home. 'Pinn', who's essentially the owners daughter & front manager of the place is an extremely friendly lady. She really seems to enjoy her job because she's never not got a smile and trying to serve people. Her service charisma is easily amongst the most genuine and best I've experienced anywhere worldwide. This is a definite plus for the hotel! On the downside, we were very disappointed when we were sent emails listing of a range of activities that could be organised via the hotel. We specifically did not do some activities earlier because we wanted to do them here - only to find out that there was an extra taxi fee involved which would essentially double the activity fee. As a result we literally cancelled all of our activities and ended up just walking around the local jungle area. Still nice, but not at all what we originally had planned to do. Another downside is that wifi is limited to the main dining area, and the treehouses do not have signal. For those of us who are required to be contactable from work (even on holiday), this does present a challenge. Definitely go, but not for too long
Amazing and unique experience!
We stayed at Rabeang Pasak Treehouse Resort for one night and absolutely loved it! The staff were very friendly and accommodative and the food was delicious. Staying here was one of the highlights from our entire trip to Thailand. We wholeheartedly recommend this rustic yet wonderfully charming experience.
A time to relax snd reflect place
A wonderful and different experience. Its a close to nature encounter.
Living a childhood dream
Great for family and kids. If you want to just have family time. This is it. Away from the hassle and bustle of city life. Real kampong spirit. Need to be prepared with mozzies at the caves area if you are venturing out. What ever repellent you have doesn't work with the mozzies. However at the treehouse. Surprisingly no many mozzies. Great place and great staff.
Awesome experience!
The treehouse resort is fantastic and Pinn was a fabulous hostess! They arrange all transport and activities and put it all in the hotel tab so you only pay one bill for everything at the end of your stay. The treehouse was wonderful with comfortable beds, mirrors, hot water to shower, plumbing, and fans to keep it cool. One suggestion would be definitely to BRING BUGSPRAY!!! While the treehouse is clean, it's still in the middle of the forest and there are lots of mosquitoes. I would definitely stay again.
Fun treehouses!
The treehouses are quirky and fun, and the staff are positively lovely. Everything was great - but this is an area in nature so bring your insect repellant.
Novel experience
Rabeang House was great for my friend and I as we had two separate sleeping areas. Although it isn't high above the ground, everything was self-contained in the house.
Amazing
Absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from the city. The staff are some of the friendliest people we have met. Their dog Tuk muk is the cutest! Can't go wrong booking here for a few nights.
Definitely Recommend
Unforgettable experience staying in a treehouse with all the comforts of electricity and indoor plumbing. The food was good although a bit pricey. Two bottles of drinking water were provided each day. You can buy more water along with beer, juice or pop at the front. Only thing we felt was missing were some hammocks to relax in. All the chairs are pretty hard.
Truely Exceptional
This place is truly magical! Didn't want to leave and will return for a longer stay in the future. The owner, staff and cooks were all amazing! The food in such a remote setting was top notch. If you have always wanted to stay in a rustic cabin or sleep high in the treetops in a treehouse this is the place for you! You will relive your childhood. Rabeang Pasak Treehouse is very special, make your visit quiet and peaceful away from TV and phones, though to share your experience (and you will want to!) they have WiFi available at the main cabin. Enjoy!!
Feel like family, adventure and authentic
We loved staying at the Treehouse! Everything about it was great, and I recommend this to anyone who enjoys an authentic experience with a side of adventure. Be aware that it is about 1.5 hours out from the airport, but they do coordinate a reasonably priced shuttle. Right after we booked I was contacted by their coordinator, Mink, who did a fantastic job setting us up with a shuttle and tour services. The meals provided were some of the best we had in our whole trip. We had a lovely adventure using their bikes to ride to the bat cave and red sands. I highly recommend staying here, you won't regret or forget it!
Our Stay
The tree house idea appealed to us but it is in the middle of nowhere. The staff were delightful and very helpful and happy and the food was terrific. Unfortunately the nature of a tree house limits its size so our house " Jackfruit " was a bit cramped
A fantastic experience!
Stayed here for one night in the Logan treehouse. Staff was extremely friendly. They cook your meals for you (if youd like) and serve it to you in the common hang out areas with tables. Can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. There are free bikes for you to take a cruise around town. Unsure why it's rated a 2.5... maybe people who rated it were unaware that they were staying in an actual TREEHOUSE... but it is clean and comfortable and has electricity and running water in the bathrooms/showers. Really cool experience. I was worried about bugs/critters but there were absolutely none inside the treehouse. If you aren't adventurous and don't enjoy being in the outdoors I'd just recommend getting a hotel. If you're adventurous this is the place to be. Highly recommend for a night or two! :)
Amazing place with incredible staff and food!
Wow! This place far exceeded our ready high expectations (based on reviews from other guests). The place is so cool and all of the houses are made extremely well. The designs are really unique too. The whole staff could not have done more to make our stay memorable, including the delicious and exquisite dinner! It was like eating in a 5 star restaurant while in a natural setting. Lastly, the staff is very kind and caring to the resident animals which was great to see. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Amazing
Absolutely amazing place to stay. So relaxing. The staff are so helpful and friendly. It's an absolute must!!!
Epic place to stay!
We loved our brief time at the Tree Houses. We had serious plane delay and the staff was great on communicating with me during a stressful time. When we finally got to the tree house resort, the staff stayed later than usual to have our dinner ready! They were super friendly and made us feel welcomed. The tree houses were AWESOME. What an amazing place to stay, even for just one night. We loved the tree houses. The food was good. We rode the bikes the next morning. The area is gorgeous. We plan to return and stay at least two days!
Great food, but bring your own sheets!
Best Tom Yum Soup in Thailand! After you book, you'll need to contact them to organise transportation to and from the hotel (it's an hour and a half drive from Chiang Mai) as well as any meals you may want while staying. When it comes to transportation, they will offer an add-on of stopping at a local market and visiting a waterfall. DO THIS! It's only 150 Baht/pp. You can pick up snacks, fruits and bug spray at the market and the waterfall is stunning and a lot of fun to climb up. Yeah, you heard me - you can climb this waterfall. With regards to food, there are very limited options off-resort, and the food they provide is spectacular and reasonably priced, so I would recommend hitting them up for every meal. Best Tom Yum soup we had in our entire trip. Best fried fish I've ever tasted. Best everything! If you decide to borrow a bike to explore the area please check the brakes before you head off! The bikes have not been serviced in a long time. Only downside was the cleanliness of the rooms. We found a fingernail clipping in our bed one night, and the duvet did not appear to have been washed prior to our stay. We ended up using our own sheets.
Wondrful experience in Northern Thailand
Loved this hotel. Such a fun experience. Meals were great, staff was wonderful. Fun places to bike to around the area. My only complaint was that the tub only ran cold water so we didn't use it but hey..we're in a tree house so it wasn't a big deal. On and expect the chickens to wake you up at 3am. We stayed in the Jackfruit house and loved it. Private rooftop that we spent some time on, swing, and nice river sounds.
Great experience!
Fantastic experience to stay here. Worth every dollar! Found the shuttle service to/wrong Chiang Mai very expensive, so rented our own scooters to get there instead. Really not a problem at all if you only have small luggage. Look up route on google maps. There are some nice cafes on the way and it's beautiful once you're out of the city. Make sure to stop by at the 'Sticky Waterfall'. Dinner was good, but they seemed to serve us 4 about the same amount as what they served tables of 2. Delicious though.
Close to nature
Great place to stay for a family holiday. Bed a breakfast feel with the privacy of your own treehouse in the forest.
Unique experience of staying in a treehouse
Chiangmai treehouse is a unique and different accommodation style than we normally have. We have a good fun there with the family. The dinner is also amazing. Mrs Pin is very patient, when we misinformed our pick up time, she help us to follow up and keep us entertained with her creative handicraft activity.
Fantastic Place! Better than any 5 star hotel!
Our stay at the Tree House Resort was really wonderful, thanks to the genuine hospitality of the staff, especially Happy and Pinn, whe ensure that we had a trouble free stay. I forgot my flashlight in the room upon departure, and the cleaning lady ran after us to return it. we stayed in the Longan House the first night and Star House the second night, and both were very nice. The only negative was that the mattreses were a little too firm for us, but the comforters were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this unique experience. The trip to the Sticky waterfalls was well worth is as well.
Hardest place to leave :)
So much natural beauty and warm family atmosphere. Staff made us feel so welcome and at home. The food was the best we had in Thailand.
Wonderful experience
Remote, relaxing experience. Beautiful treehouses with a lovely family environment.
Fabulous experience for the family!
We only stayed one night in the coconut house but it was one of the best places we stayed. Gorgeous treehouse with one king size bed and three singles over three levels. Beds were very firm (as they are everywhere we stayed in Thailand) but comfortable. Outdoor shower which had some of the best water pressure we experienced and hot water. We cycled to bat caves, red sands and swam in the creek running through the property. Crystal clear water, absolutely gorgeous. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and again some of the best meals we had. They had that home cooked flavour while still being authentic Thai and were well balanced with plenty of fruit and vegetables. Our kids (11 and 13) loved it despite one getting 'burnt' by a caterpillar, very painful. Being a tree house yes there are bugs but that's kind of part of the experience. Really good fans kept the mozzies off at night as well as cooling us down. Thank you Mr Lee, Mink and Lucky for a beautiful stay!
Nice!
It's a nice tree house for visiting, the environment is quiet but it has many attractions for visiting.
Unique experience close to nature
Staying at this hotel is a great experience in itself. If you're not looking for luxury and want to be close to nature, this is the perfect place to visit. The hotel consists of several tree houses and each of them is unique. In our house, we enjoyed the view, the comfy bed and the outdoor bathroom (you can have a shower under the moon!). At night, you can fall asleep to the sounds of nature around you. Despite that, we didn't encounter many mosquitos during our stay. The hotel offers great service, good food and they tell you all about the caves, lakes and forests you can explore around the village. You can rent their bicycles for free. They also offer transfer from and to Chiang Mai (with a cost). We had a great time here and would like to visit the hotel soon again.
Great Eco Hotel
Location is pretty far from city, however the beautiful condition made us relax and comfortable. Hotel staff are so kindly and friendly.
Rabeang Pasak Treehouse Resort | Hotel in Doi Saket | Travala.com
A quiet, peaceful and adventurous retreat. I could’ve stayed longer and can’t wait to come back. Every treehouse was gorgeous and well planned. Definitely one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. I was solo so the Tamarind house was the perfect size for me. It would be tight with two people. There’s plenty of sights to walk or bike to in the area but the sound of the river and relaxing on the property was enough for me.
