Enjoyed our three nights staying I felt the bathroom needed a few hooks to hang clothes while showering
Standard of cleanliness has dropped a bit. Ice box was iced up and there was no milk in the fridge
Great value for money, clean up to date rooms. We checked in late and this is handled after hours which went smoothly.
$15 Parking
Organization of late 11pm check-in was excellent, spoilt by unexpectedly finding out there was a $15 charge for off street parking which is not itemised on website. Price stated for breakfast but not parking. Disappointing to say the least
Great location and would definitely stay there again.
The location to both Wellington and the Hutt, as well as Petone shops was very handy. Staff most helpful. Enjoying our stay at Quest Petone
Good quality accommodation. Would stay again
Great would have been excellent if the usual biscuits where there.
The unit was nice. No view with a very tiny balcony. The bedroom TV would not stay on more than about 30 seconds so the receptionist came up and tried various things but to no avail. At least she tried. The room was very noisy in the morning and the main TV in the lounge area also died! I thought a discount on a future booking could be offered but we just got an apology.
Unhappy with the room
We were very unhappy about the room especially the poorly constructed accessible bathroom. Btw, I only requested for a quiet room, didn’t asked for an accessible room. After shower, the bathroom/toilet was completely wet and so uncomfortable to walk in and out of it. The bathroom fan was also super noisy. Our paid parking lot was difficult with a pillar and Ute there.
Great position, easy to access. Lovely helpful receptionist.
Handy to shops and dining. Comfy beds and nice and quiet.
Na
If you want a great place to base yourself out of the city it was a great location. The restaurants on the Main Street of Petone were all excellent . Short walk to the forshore. One bedroom apartment was quite comfortable, jut needed a washing machine but is one near reception.
Always a lovely stay at the Quest Petone
Great for work travellers
Beautiful place to stay as a solo business female traveler. Nice and quiet . Home away from home
Clean and quiet. Great location
Yeah
Quest hotel was lovely to stay at. Just feel that some maintenance needs to be carried out in the rooms. Very quiet and so close to everything.
Lovely room, great powerful shower, comfy bed.
Lovely premises. Will stay there again.
I had booked 6 rooms and out of that 4 rooms had black ants crawling on the walls. Otherwise the rooms were clean and neat. Walking distance to the fine dining
Booked online and wasn’t aware no free parking. Turned up and spent a lot of time trying to get parking in the rain. It should be made clear about the parking situation
Very nice
Good location friendly staff
Petone’s Best Accommodation.
This is the best Petone accommodation. Close to all amenities including a movie theatre and good restaurants, as well as the beach. Enjoyed my stay and will stay again.
Convenient location and a good price
Very good however tvs could be better
Lovely staff, very neat and tidy room that’s well equipped with everything you will need. Only note is the shower tends to flood the whole bathroom but that’s not the end of the world
Staff were great easy reservation and great price
Great and conveinent
Great variety of restaurants and cafes nearby.
Quest is the best kept secret in Petone … it’s clean ..the staff are super friendly, the rooms are the perfect size and incredibly convenient location ..
I love the Quest Petone. Reasonably priced, lovely staff. Very clean everywhere, the Nespresso machine ( new since my last visit) never disappoints. Thankyou Keryn
this property had everything we needed. Great for business customers
Great location lovely and clean. Cooking facilities and good range of cooking equipment. Close to shops and restaurants and cafes.
Absolutely fantastic location. Petone has such a buzz about it The staff are so friendly and helpful
Clean and central
Unfortunately on the night i stay there was a large group staying who had a very loud gathering from 11-1am and they were not respectful of others in the complex Place it self was all good just bad lick i guess
Soundproofing was bad and it gets very noisy hearing every movement from other rooms/tenants. Otherwise, place and service are both fantastic!
Some noise from nearby rooms and corridor areas, but overall the stay was enjoyable. One minor downside was unavailability of SKY tv, however offset by free movies.
Very spacious for our family
Easy stop while on business, handy to Wellington central.
After hours check-in was a bit complicated but not bad otherwise
Comfortable modern clean rooms, great location just off Jackson St. Have stayed a few times.
I was on the third floor and tended to hear the wind noise. I think a floor below and i would not have had that.
Great value room close to transport with small balcony. Bedroom was internal so no option for fresh air, but not a problem for us.
Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Room was great with simple amenities accommodated
WISH TO COME AGAIN
Quiet, clean and good facility. Good management.
Excellent apartments with everything you need. Staff are friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make sure that you are happy. There is on site parking at an additional cost which is convieinent. Next to the main shopping strip of Jackson Street where there are a lot of options for cheap eating out.
Here they were quick and efficient. Allowed for an early check in upon request. Great facilities
Very good over all
Convenient shopping strip nearby. Good restaurants are close by. Beach is a short walk from motel.
Quick cycling trip
Real good location and nice modern and clean. Limited onsite parking and we were not given the option of booking a car park so had to park on street with bikes in car. Luckily no problems.
Booked several days at a set price, charged a deposit at time of booking but when we booked in was charged full price for day of check in.Not enough off street parking. Bed was 2 single beds put together to make a double, not very comfortable, liked that it had own laundry in room.but overall experience I don't think I will stay there again
Iffy
Late (4:20PM) check-in on a windy wet afternoon meant getting into the lobby via barely audible intercom, then a phone call to get a lockbox combo to release the room key. The room smelled off, smelling to me of wet dog and to my wife as something more sinister. Heating/cooling the room was far more complicated than it needed to be as the heat pump would make it either too hot or too cold and never just right. Was close to everything we needed and very convenient, just don’t think we’ll stay there next time.
We have stayed in motels, for less; with far superior accommodation which we can only rate as very disappointing
The dog next door barking so much .
The EV charging parking spot, to charge vehicle overnight was great. But the noise from the pub next door was loud and went on all night.
Great property had everything we needed for short term stay.
Looking at pidgeons at their droppings wasnt pleasant. Everything was great
Really good quality, enjoyable and quiet.
Only a few steps to town and restaurants - great! Close to bus transport to Wellington and Hutt Valley - excellent. The room was clean and tidy - just what I wanted. I also appreciated the personal greeting from the staff. Nice work, Quest. Not so great that the guest parking is quite limited. I left my car out on the street, after moving it away from the hotel area.
Accommodation effective and handy to shopping
Excellent room with views over Petone, the harbour, across to Wellington City. Staff help effectively, good security system. Handy to Petone shopping area. There is limited hotel parking, which affected me, but there was parking space offsite on the street.
Enjoyed our stay
Overall it was a really good night, just noise in the early morning
This Hotel is so central to great bars and restaurants and so quick and easy to get into Wellington down town. The staff were really nice and the room is very spacious.
Nice sized ,clean room. Hallway could use a bit of a tidy up, but on the whole a comfortable stay.
The layout of the studio unit was excellent, probably the best layout we have stayed in. Great to have a dishwasher, washing machine and drier in a studio unit too. Great place to stay.
Really great and location is fantastic to restaurants and bars.
Could not have asked for more. Helpful friendly staff. Brilliant spacious room with everything we needed. Would not hesitate to book again.
Great location and condition
It could have been better with more space outdoor and easy parking space
The guests in the adjoining room were very noisy through to the early hours of the following morning
Nice and good value Petone accommodation
Our 4th stay in recent years and we will be back in 2024. Located just off Jackson Street with its numerous eating options. Studio room was really nice and comfortable, and reception staff very friendly. Definitely recommended
Overall the experience was great.
Desk clerk was very helpful and answered all my questions. Very much appreciated. Awesome gluten free bakery/cafe one block over on Nelson: Gluten Free 4u. So good whether on gf or regular diet.
Close to all eateries and parking
We love staying as always, never disappointed
Clean and tidy
The room was clean and warm. The situation was very central in Petone. The staff were friendly.
Looked good from the outside
The apartment was shabby. The bathroom hand-basin was chipped and looked to be dirty. The bathroom vanity cupoard was also chipped. The towel rail wasn't fastened to the wall and so it fell on the floor when the towel was used. The shower frame and glass was hanging off leaving a gap large enough to put your hand through. The carpet by the bed looked like it hadn't been swept in years. For 2 guests staying 2 nights the complimentary tea and coffee, etc, was only enough to make one cup each.
Stop over
A one night stay for a family dinner. Views of the roof of the next door building? Extra cost for parking. No Sky Tv. Otherwise a nice quiet unit.
Very limited parking, had to park on road some distance away
Very close to shoping reataurants and petone beach.
Room was good size, nice bed and clean bathroom. Booked car parking but on arrival there were none, they did let me park in a staff car park.
Found the Quest Petone completely met our need for rest and transition as had just shift out of home of many years. Comfortable, quiet, handy, sunny, clean & safe car parking.
Overnighter. Short stay. Effortless check in / check out service. My suite was just right. Thank you.
Disappointed
The room smelled of burnt cooking I complained as I was staying four nights and nothing was done I travel regularly and I was disappointed in how I was treated probably won’t stay again As a side issue car parking in the paid areas is ridiculously tight in a larger vehicle ( ute )
The dude at reception was very welcoming and friendly. He gave me good directions to shops and restaurants near by. Room was spacious and tidy with some pretty good movie options free of charge. More than happy to stay again
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms great service
Enjoyed my stay here nice and central in the hutt
Stayed 3 nights. The property had everything we need. its convenient and only walking distance to supermarkets and places to eat and shopping
Perfect time needed for us
Handy to Wellington, convenient.
When it came to finding receptionist area was hard to find at first. Had to around the block again. Wasn't the only one looking where to go. Seemed others doing same thing. Plus trying to find parking area so you can go inside. Was difficult
Central Petone so walkable to cafés, cinema, beach etc. Easy drive into Wellington CBD. Safe off-street parking can be reserved for $15 per night.

We did not like the self check in process with reception unmanned from 4pm on a Sunday. A poor level of service provided to clients.
