Good for the area as we went to a party down the road room was .nice and quite andI tidy

The lap pool that extends over the lobby with a glass bottom was quite relaxing after a humid day

Awesome hotel and location

Super friendly, fantastic location in Parnell with tons of restaurants and coffee shops. Really awesome section of Auckland to stay as it’s fun, local yet only 20 minutes from Queen Street. Hotel staff were awesome and helpful. Would DEFINITELY stay there again!

Very quiet - I felt as though I was the only person on my floor. Walking distance very manageable to the ASB CLASSIC TENNIS. Staff at Quest very helpful especially with the room shower being blocked. Would have enjoyed some salt and pepper as condiments in the unit.

Exceptionally clean!

This was our second stay in Auckland. Lovely to find this charming neighborhood. Nicer than the business section. Loved that Quest had dishes, a little kitchen and even a washer dryer with a thoughtful packet of laundry detergent.

The hotel was central which was great. The room was clean and tidy and a generous size. The balcony was lovely. Our telephone did not work even after it was replaced and there was a terrible noise in our hallway from drying out rooms. The people at the front desk were very helpful. The pool was great, especially being saltwater. it was very easy to book a park for a friend. I would most definitely stay here again.

Excellent late arrival

We had late check in and it was so easy and safe to get into our apartments . So clean and the staff who helped me that very late evening was so patient and helpful over the phone .

So clean. We will be back. Had one issue with the shower filling up quickly so maybe just clean the drains.

Great for a central Auckland stay.

Very central room, could walk home from Spark arena in 15mins. Good sized room with 2x single beds as requested, decent kitchen & good sized bathroom. Sadly both beds were so soft and worn out you could barely stay asleep without feeling like you were going to fall out. Would still stay here again.

Great location just out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Easy to get to the motorway. Great for a family as the apartment had kitchen facilities and a laundry in the room. Very comfortable stay.

More like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star hotel. Good for 1-2 nights, but a big sized bed and easy parking. Perfectly placed for restaurants and shopping in Parnell.

Great customer service. They looked after us well. Great car parking (not as tight as we were expecting). Lots of great restaurants close by (try the Blue Elephant) and an easy walk to Spark. Was very quiet even though our room was at ground level and there was a footpath right outside. Only rated it 4 stars for cleanliness because the exterior windows were a bit dirty. Would definitely stay again.

Great location with access to all of Parnell, plus the train station. Local neighborhood is walkable and full of eating and drinking options. Room was spacious. Laundry and kitchen facilities were good. The fittings were all a bit tired. Fully functional but no longer sparkling. Staff were competent, courteous and available But only during business hours.

Great location, close to the museum and Newmarket. Plenty of cafes and restaurants close by.

Excellent Stay

Quest Parnell was an excellent stay for the beginning of our holiday. The hotel had a small pool and workout gym which we used. They were alright. We got the apartment and it was spacious! The location was great for us as it was near a grocery market so we could buy food to prepare in the kitchenette. Additionally, there were many restaurants nearby. Also, the hotel is near the Parnell train station as well. The kitchen had a dishwasher, a sink, and stovetop with plenty of pots and pans. The restroom had a washer and dryer which we used. These were very convenient. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough and the heater worked great (especially with the cold weather during our time in Auckland). Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

It’s a good option and close to train. It’s getting old though and could do with a tidy up. Carpet doesn’t look clean although I’m sure it was, it’s just old. No tissues in the room and expensive for what it is. Everything is very basic and stale. We often stay here but I’m noticing that it’s just getting worn down now and feeling really expensive for what it is.

Friendly prompt front desk service. Clean, warm, comfortable room. Good bed. Not flashy but ok condition, amenities fine for our needs - brief overnight stay to attend show nearby.

Perfect location and quiet area to stay for myself and my mum for one night. Very happy with the cleanliness and linen

Mixed Bag

We stayed in apartment 2. The room was spacious and having laundry facilities is handy. The sheets were clean and the bed was super comfy but the dressing tables and not be cleaned for some time. Our room was very noisy as it was next to the back entrance/parking so from 5am on Saturday rubbish/laundry trucks start coming, so no sleep in. The room had quite a loud continuous humm, this could also be heard from the hallway, we thought perhaps it was coming from the transformer directly outside the bedroom?? The toilet was also noisy when flushed. The window had no lock on it, just a piece of wood holding the window shut. Rooms not serviced on Sundays. Staff are friendly. Location is great being close to some fantastic restaurants… would I stay again, No, for the price you can get better elsewhere.

Great location, easy walking distance to a lot of dining and shopping options, only 10 mins drive to central Auckland. We got a cool view of the sky tower from our room. Staff really amazing, only niggle was the bathroom servicing got missed on the Saturday of our stay, but when bringing it up with the staff, they apologized and rectified immediately. Would stay here again.

I was really surprised by Parnell - didn't know anything about it in advance, just booked because Quest is always a great place to stay. Parnell was gorgeous, so unique and you can see that the quirkiness of the buildings and shops are really treasured. Quest was very close to the main street and a great quiet space for my family to be. The kitchen was great and we were able to do some cooking in preparation for the rest of our NZ trip.

The bed and pillow were very comfortable. We had a good sleep. Shower was leeky and might need to be tightened up.

Very pleasant stay for our Auckland stay. No car but city transportation good to get around. Stop to get to Center is a few min walk away. Room had all the amenities we wanted. Lap pool upstairs was enjoyed on a sunny day.

Great location in Parnell

Comfortable and clean. Easy parking (paid) and a short walk into Parnell for great cafes and restaurants. Would be great if more towels were provided for pool/shower but nothing major.

Communication was good, hotel emailed a few days prior to confirm the booking was correct. Car parks clearly named and reserved for us. Peaceful too

Absolutely great access to city and airport when the trains are running (which they weren’t but I loved it anyway) - one wouldn’t expect to love having a washer and dryer in the room, but auper handy.

The room had everything I needed for work trip and was easy to get to. Was very disappointed with the cleaning standard - there was short dark hair in the bathroom in obvious sight and a large coffee/liquid mark on curtains.

Great location, 20min walk to downtown, very spacious, nice modern apartment, good amenities.

Information needs updating on platform. No room service regarding breakfast and no receptionist after 5pm. Had to park in a tow away risk carpark to check in. No signage when approaching front entrance that the carpark is around the next corner about 100m away. Otherwise once in room after the 3 phone calls to an offsite receptionist everything else was fine. Good sized rooms and a comfortable stay. Breakfast is not available though as these are self serviced appartments.

Love the location

This is the third time we've stayed here, it's a good solid choice if you want to be close to the CBD (but without the access hassles), close to the motorway and with loads of dining options on your doorstep. Our room was large, spacious, well appointed and clean. This is a firm favourite and we will definitely be back again.

Place was clean snd today but smelt on arrival. No fan in bathroom, paint off skirting boards and the images don’t portray the rooms Didn’t think it was worth the money

Very convenient location in Parnell, Auckland

Excellent place to stay in Auckland, just off Parnell Road. Very clean, comfortable and convenient. Rental car locations nearby. We appreciated having a washer and dryer in the suite (useful on a longer trip). Walkable to Parnell Road, the museum and Domain, harbour and downtown. Or, take a bus, if raining. Recommend the Bake House (German Biergarten and Wool Shop) in a square on/off Parnell Road.

Very handy to the city and Parnell Road shops, but quiet location back from the street

No extra pillows or towels. Noise that sounded like a waste disposal every hour all night. Too expensive for a mediocre hotel.

Enjoyed our stay at the quest. Great location in Parnell and good sized room. Staff was pleasant. A couple of minor items - Tile floors in kitchen area need replacing (numerous cracked tiles). As well, half wall in shower does not stop water from getting on tile floor in bathroom (very slippery)

Location just off Parnell Road - proximity to wide range of restaurants and pleasant walking. A short bus ride to the CBD.

The room size is good enough for 2 peoples, all basic facilities are included in the room, additionally having dish washer, cloth washer and dryer are the good points. The located place is quiet but very convenient having lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The security level is in high level, lift, car park gate, main entrance are required to use access card to enter.
