This property was excellent. The rooms were small but they have everything I needed. Property is located in a nice location and will for sure be staying here again. Perfect place for if you’re looking for a small place right in town.

Room was somewhat dated. Internet was really spotty. Affected computer and TV services. which was bad.. Never fixed. Chair at desk should be on casters.

It’s un excellent stop with good price

The staff cannot be faulted. They were great. But be aware there is no air conditioning at this property and no fly screens on windows. So sleep was a nightmare. Hot and mosquito filled. The staff gave us pedestal fans but the whole experience was uncomfortable.

Almost everything was great. The room was clean and spacious. The two things I felt a little disappointed about were that there was no air conditioning system( when we went to Auckland, it was pretty hot.) and the door of parking lot was narrow so it was pretty hard for my husband to drive in. If you are not a good driver, going through it will take time.^^

Easy and convenient stay

I booked a studio apartment for work purposes, although small in floor area it had everything and more including a stand up fan, perfect for someone who sleeps hot. A small balcony next to the queen bed allowed for cool/fresh air and 10/10 for housekeeping. I highly recommend this accommodation.

The man hole was open and unsafe, rooms were way to hot hard to get ventilation. Helpful service and accommodating.

Kitchen and Laundry in unit was very nice

The location was quite hilly and steep. Would probably appeal to younger fit people but as I am also young in my 60s it was quite hard walking. What did appeal to me was the fair price we paid for accommodation.

1 night stay - excellent for what we needed!

First off we have stayed here a few times in the past and it has always been good. Super affordable last minute accommodation and the beds are comfy and clean. Location is amazing. The room was cute but the bathroom was smelly and the carpet in the bedroom area had a damp odour. We had to open the sliding door upon entry to help clear the air in the room. When I checked out, I was told our $200 deposit could take between 8-10 days to clear by the bank which was a surprise to us. I was told that this information was on the form I had signed when I checked in. As it was a late last minute stay in Auckland we didn’t even think to read any fine print on the checking in form. I was just instructed to “put my email address at the top and sign at the bottom”. Lesson learnt. Transparency at check in would be really helpful. On return to our room later that night we were met by the police at the main door who were escorting a young man outside that they had just arrested while another officer was consoling a very upset woman in the foyer. Can’t say we will ever stay at Quest on Eden again :(

Enjoyed our single night stay.

The recepionist on check in was extremely cordial and recognised me despite a 4 year absence. The room was good except the tv is a total joke. You cannot operate anything as it requires emails and passwords ? There was no instruction manual or office staff at night to ask.

The worst thing was the parkimg my partner found it difficult

Wanted a property within east walking distance to Spark Arena and this was perfect. Rooms well appointed. Staff were lovely and very helpful. There is no aircon in these rooms.

The location is quiet and the staff are extremely hospitable.

Good for family group stay. We had 2 separate rooms. Full kitchen and lounge area. Plenty of seating. Clean and tidy.

Steve White was very warm and welcoming, he made you feel like you where actually living there. Excellent man. Hence the reason I would chose to stay there again. Up the Wahs

Awesome stay!!!

The service was amazing, we arrived in the pouring rain after 26h of travel and although we expected to just be able to stow our bags, they let us check in early which was massively appreciated. The gentleman in the morning was also very helpful and partially walked us to the train station! Awesome apartment, great staff would strongly recommend.

Great value, close to Spark Arena, handy to have washing machine & dryer, modern and clean apartment. My family will stay here again.

Good little apart hotel

Good little apart hotel ideal for families. We booked it for the walking distance to spark arena for Lion king show and it was an easy walk to and safe coming back at night! Friendly helpful staff onsite. Good location.

Rooms need fans as no air con

Was very nice room and great security. Great location and friendly reception. Great value for money, only exception is that it needs to provide a fab in room as only has heaters available and the wall heater which was also a fan, does nothing to cool room. I wouldn’t be able to sleep in there in summer if they didn’t have fans available. Otherwise excellent

beautiful room, but it had a strong damp smell. made me want to spew. i had to buy a scented candle to mask the smell

Extraordinary help after all 4 luggage delay

On 2/13/20, Front desk manager kept our email and phone number because our luggage did not arrive. She was going to call us in case the airline sent it to the Quest hotel after we had checked out. She was very helpful. We had to take a taxi back to the airport, before our cruise to New Zealand started. We want to thank her for her kindness.

Reception very helpful. Well located to all we wanted to access using Uber or walking

Nobody was st the check in and check out counter. Lift didnt work. No bedside lighting. Rest of the room was ok

Location and room were very nice. Parking was tight and getting in and out of garage not pleasant at all. T V did not have subtitles working, very hard for myself who is deaf.

Great there was a full sized fridge and the apartment was a good size. The tv had a large cut on the screen and the curtains had some holes which was disappointing.

Location was great. These are refurbished appartements. Fairly clean. Very comfortable bed. As for the rest furnished on the cheap. No place to hang your coats. Just 2 hangers in cupboard. No hooks anywhere in bath room to hang towels. The appartment was cold. They supply you with a small portable heater which heats up very little unless in a small room.

It was awesome .came for a concert it was close to everything and staff was supper friendly. Will definitely recommend this place and will use it in the future x

Great help and friendliness at reception and with cleaning staff

The room we got was clean, modern and had view of the ocean. Very friendly & knowledgeable staff. The hotel is central to everything. Can hear a little bit of traffic but it is what we expected being in the city.

The hostess/receptionist was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble, super friendly and helpful. She made the trip really!

Great location to britomart

Great location close to britomart, room was bigger than I expected with full amenities. Service was great. Only negative is the security bond isn’t reserved on your credit card, it’s deducted and then reimbursed which they estimate takes 8 days. I was informed of this but it is something that can be improved. But overall great stay

Accommodated family of 5 easily, brilliant location and exceptional customer service, they went the extra mile in regards to early check in and ensuring we had a carpark. Beds super comfy. Only small let down was room was not that clean but that may be because they rushed so that we could get in earlier than the 2pm check in time. Certainly would stay again and recommend to families.

Never even got to the room. We were two students who needed to come up to Auckland for the night and as students, we didn’t have much money so we opted for a cheap hotel. After arriving, we waited in reception for 20 minutes until someone finally showed up. Didn’t even apologise for keeping us waiting. After finally being seen, we were asked to pay a $200 deposit! This was something not expected and as it was a $90 room! They wanted a deposit over twice that rate of the room which I found totally unreasonable. They said “that’s okay, we’ll just take $500 cash for the deposit”?!?! Who has $500 cash for a deposit! Especially when we’ve already said we don’t have $200. I explained how that was totally unreasonable that they were expecting such a large deposit for such a cheap room. Surly people who are booking somewhere so cheap is because they don’t have much money to spear?? We asked for our money back (as we paid online), that didn’t happen. We asked if we could change the booking and move it to another day. Also didn’t happen. They didn’t go out of there way at all to help us out. Leaving us with no where to stay and no money we were told we could come back when we got money for a deposit. They are clearly in this for business and not for the people. Going to be a lot more careful where we book from now on and never going to pay for it until we know we can stay there. 10/10 would NOT recommend

Room did not have reverse cycle airconditioner but pedestal fan and small electric heater in room. Prefer to have duty manager available when checking in regardless of time. Long-winded process to gain entry.

Strange Smell on the floor

Overall the experience and accommodation was good, with 2 exceptions. a) limited free wi fi 500 MB for the entire stay and you have to pay if you need more. b) very strange Smell on the apartment floor which hits you as soon as you get out tof the lift.

Two room apartment was ideal for 4 adults. Property is very quiet. Fair to mention that access to the carpark was awkward/difficult in our Corolla hatchback.....wouldn't like to negotiate it in a larger car

Nice room, just needs some work on cleanliness

Room was really nice, had a lovely view and conformable bed. Disappointed in the cleanliness of the room, bathroom was dirty (toilet uncleaned and makeup on the mirror) also there was no cutlery in the draws (I noticed that all the cutlery was still in the dishwasher and was un sure if was clean)

Excellent small room. However, the exhaust vent is a bit noisy.

Great location, as long as you don't mind hills. My room however was dated and the bench had burns/stains all over it. It had been painted the previous week (and you could smell that). The laundry that appears in all photos had been removed and there was just venting hanging down from the ceiling, and an empty space in the bathroom where it was previously. There was nowhere to put my suitcase besides on the floor. The Freeview unit was velcroed to the bottom of the TV and kept falling off (including in the middle of the night which gave me a nasty wakeup!). There were none of those little things like a folder of nearby eateries etc, or details of any amenities provided by the hotel. I was on the second floor, so definitely didn't have the balcony view advertised. The receptionist was very friendly though! I likely wouldn't stay here again.

Can’t believe a four star property with no air conditioning. Will not stay there again. Hard bed. 2 singles attached to make a king/queen, the split was so bad i had to sleep on one side. $149 for that property completely wastage. Expedia please update ur pictures and information about hotel. It was a 3 star apartment not 4 star.

I found it a little noisy late at night but then I come from a smallish city where there's no noise at night. So, it wasn't unexpected but I'd forgotten how city life at night is so busy.

I liked that we were able to park our rental car in the garage for the time we stayed. $50 for the 2 nights. The room included a washer, dryer, kitchenette, balcony, fridge, stove and microwave. We was close to downtown. We were able to buy groceries and walk to the Sky Tower. Very nice hotel and very nice suite. Great staff!
