I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the place was very affordable. Highly recommend!

Some areas of the property were in need of TLC but altogether a good budget accommodation. Near to public transport system to city centre. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The hotel was clean and not too noisy.

Good location!

Easy and nice and clean

Everything was ok but coffee had no flavor wish there were more breakfast options. Room was good just noisy with the air unit right out the door in the hallway had to place a towel on the floor to block the air from coming in. There was a burnt smell in the room unable to find or locate where it was coming from.

Room was good, however the layout made space limited.

It wasn't the cleanest place but it was still fine for a couple nights. It was comfortable enough but neither bad or good enough to really remark much on.

Quick family getaway

The hotel was in a great location. Easy to get to our destinations although some reviews stated the area was shady. I had no issues whatsoever will recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.

Some of the staff was not that professional. The rest was perfect, very clean.

It was one of the cleanest and quietest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was accommodating, professional and friendly. The continental breakfast included scrambled eggs, toast, waffles, fruit, cereal, juices, tea, etc. The coffee remained available all day and was excellent. I’ll definitely stay there again the next time I visit Austin. :)

Meh.. I'd stay again if the price was right

The room was fine. Check in was a little slow.. Seems family run. Front desk person had trouble processing tax exempt for the person ahead of me. There also seemed to be an accent issue. My check in was fine. The breakfast was a joke though, even by continental breakfast standards. In fairness I arrived late, but it looked like there wasn't much ever put out. I didn't stay there for the breakfast though.

Room is very basic and smells funky. Ok for one night stay. Area seems sketchy.

Our stay at the Quality Inn was nice and comfortable but the room smelled kind of musty . Overall experience it was really nice.

I was in 309 and the noise from the highway was bad. Next time will ask for away from higheay. The accommodations were fine. Breakfast was not ideal for someone with type 2 diabetes.

Rooms do not have USB charging port

Nice staff, decent breakfast, high water pressure, and cold a.c. Didn't seem like the best neighborhood, the gas station behind it had an armed guard and my Uber driver said prostitutes were in the area.

the staff were very friendly and helpful.It was unfortunate that they no longer had laundry machines.I could have used them.The hotel’s location was very good for my purpose.

Room was clean, but ac was not on when we got there so it took a bit to cool off. Break fast didn't have a big selection but they did have waffle maker so it was fine. Staff was friendly.

For the price it was ok.

1. The hallway was hot, humid, and had an awful smell. 2. The heaters for the pool and sauna were broken and unusable. The pool was freezing. 3. The phone didn't work. 4. The breakfast was awful, especially the beverage machines that tasted like soap/cleaner. Barely any food available. 5. There were stains all over the mattress on the pull out couch. It was thin, lumpy, and uncomfortable. 6. The air conditioner had a difficult time cooling the suite. 7. The luggage carts both had broken wheels. I wouldn't have left a review about any of that. However, when we went to leave, the manager asked us if we were checking out. I said yes. She asked me how many people were staying in the room because she had spoken to and seen 2 men in the room. I told her that was definitely not true. She then pointed to the girls and yelled how many people were in that room! I said there were 4 of us. She told me only 2 people were allowed in that room even though it was a suite that slept up to 6. Then she asked us in an accusing tone if we were in town for some concert. I told her my reservation was for two adults and two children and that we were in town for a comic convention. I told her the girls were teenagers and went to pull up proof of my reservation. She then said no, it's okay and told me to leave her a good review. I reported what happen to expedia. They told me she would apologize and give me a refund. Her apology was rude and dishonest, and no refund offered.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was large and clean. Close to public transport. Breakfast was simple, but reasonable for the price. Overall, a good place to stay in the city.

Hotel review

It’s was nice overall, I just didn’t like how when I checked in the guy at the front desk was questioning me about why I was staying so long and who was going to be in the room with me and that I couldn’t have more than one guest, like I was going to be a problem. Also on my second day I was coming back in from work and the lady at the front desk stop me and ask me what room number I was going too like I didn’t have a room there and just was freely walking in.

My room smelled pretty bad , breakfast wasn’t good, I wouldn’t stay again.

Good staffs

It was a great stay overall. The only down side was that they were remodeling which they were many chemicals. Other than that it was conformable.

Smelled funny and automatically as soon as i walked in. They started to speak in their language which i think is rude. I speak 2 languages but aren't rude like that.

Had to ask for things that should have been there.

It's definitely a dated property and the photos ought to be updated! The hallways reeked of weed and smoke. The outside parking lot was sketch enough to make a grown woman think twice about going out to the car at night! Don't even bother with breakfast or coffee- it's colored water (literally). Only good thing was the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling. The room was as clean as could be, but again, really dated...

Very relaxing and comfortable. I would suggest putting a broom in every room for the sand you will most definitely track in but other than that it was great. Thank you very much to the staff, it was an amazing experience.

Convenient

Check in was smooth and great. The service was personable, kind and relaxed setting. The room was large, roomy and comfortable. The hotel hit the spot for location and needs meet.

Breakfast isn’t real breakfast, they offer waffles, some stale cereal and yogurt. Even the bread was hard as a rock. We had to change rooms 3 times because the sofa bed mattress was disgusting, they had red stains, we didn’t want to try to figure out what those where.

All was well. Room big and comfy. Very clean. Area and building clean. Employees were pleasant and friendly. We wanted to swim and went into the inside pool but it was very cold so couldnt stay long. Other then that it was good.

Disappointed breakfast: No hot meal of any kind. Swim pool was OK for its size.

We booked Friday to Sunday and stayed here Friday night and was fine went back Saturday night and they didn’t want to give us 5 towels for 5 guests then someone kept knocking on our door and trying to open it and front desk did nothing there was trash all around outside and around did not feel safe there and left Saturday due to whoever knocking on our door constantly and trying to open the door had to drive all the back to SAN ANTONIO WITH 3 kids at midnight !!! Do not recommend this hotel said queen beds and definitely full size beds

I’d stay again

The man and lady that were at the check in were super friendly. I liked that it had an indoor pool for the kids to enjoy. There was a super random large stain on the couch that was a little questionable but aside from that decent room, nicely stocked with essentials.

Excellent service and very clean

Our stay was nice and clean, staff was nice a respectful. House keeping was very helpful. The only thing we didn’t like is that the hotel didn’t have blackout curtains. With the bright lights in the parking lot, you wake up at 2 am and you think it’s 7am. Our only issue. I would hope that the property will invest in. Bed was oh so comfortable 😁😁😁

Clean and comfortable

As soon as you walk in it looks and smells clean. Our room was clean and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. I also liked that we didnt have to drive far to go to downtown about 15 min away with traffic and staff is very attentive and friendly i would definitely go back and would recommend

This property is very near the Interstate, there are homeless and sketchy type people in the neighborhood. We frankly did not feel safe there.

I want to be fair and honest. The property was not what we expected definitely dated, and did not match pictures diaplayed. Staff was respectful, but it was one of those times, the dated feel made it feel unclean. We also did not eat the FREE breakfast, which was really a morning snack. I have to say this is that one time I've been disappointed with a stay booked on expedia. I wish the property would provide up to date pictures and details on what to expect.

This hotel seems to be run by a couple. The lady was very sweet and polite but the man was rude when checking in. Our room had a musty smell and felt humid even with the ac running.

Staff was so accommodating to our last minute stay. “You get what you pay for” and it was enough to get some rest after traveling for so long.

Not what I expected

As we walked in, first thing noticed that the breakfast are and welcome lobby is so crowded. Did not look welcoming. The halls look dingy and old. The lady at the reception desk was kind but pushy. She did allow us a look at the room. The room looks clean at first glance. Decided to stay but at the first use of the restroom, noticed the towels were not clean looking. They had brown spots on several of them. I also found brown stain spots on the sheets. In the morning, went down for breakfast and the selection was very limited. One kind of bread, one kind of sweet bread, only one kind of yogurt. Did love the Texas waffle. I will not be staying at this hotel nor recommending it. It was not what I was expecting from the pictures on hotels.com.

Great midweek stay on short notice

Super friendly staff, clean room, well supplied. Free breakfast area was well stocked and maintained during service hours, but the area can get a little congested with guests at times. (Could also use a second waffle maker; move the coffee condiments to another area to reduce congestion.) Would gladly stay here again.

Family management is very kind

We were able to walk to a nearby restaurant Hideaway Kitchen and Bar, which was pretty good. The hotel room was clean and nice. The breakfast was terrible. There was not enough food or tables for all the people there. Need to have more than one waffle maker as there were about 7 people in line in front of us, so we just skipped it.

Staff was professional and friendly. ADA accessibility room was large, clean, quiet and conveniently on first floor. Breakfast, including build your own Texas shaped waffle was good. Close to main highway was convenient.

The staff were helpful and friendly. This breakfast was okay, but I wish they'd had boiled eggs and not just cereal or waffles to choose from.

Convenient stay

The overall stay was good, the only thing is that it offers continental breakfast but it only has waffles, the rest of the food is bread, yogurt, cereals, coffee, milk. I think the description should be updated. The management put an effort on offering a good service. The zone seem to be safe.

The property itself was decent. However, upon check-in, the room I booked was completely gone and they put me in a smaller room with no compensation. Once we get into the room and pull out the sofa couch, we go the whole day without noticing that someone has left their underwear and dirty towel underneath the sofa.

Was good overall, continental breakfast had limited options, no peanut butter, eggs,oatmeal, yogurt just needed a little more options to choose from ..

The lady who checked us in was very nice.

Thanks to the staff for wanting to resolve the problem I had with the reservation. They were very friendly and very attentive.

Really nice and friendly owners. The rooms are really big and the bed was comfortable. All appliances are new. The breakfast was excellent 👌 The owner checked everything every few minutes 👌 If we ever visit Austin again, we definitely would stay here again.

The hotel was an awesome deal, very clean and friendly check in. We only stayed for a night but very nice. The breakfast area was very small and before 9am (breakfast ended at 930 on this day) there was not much left unfortunately and items that were low stock or out was not replenished.

Room was clean and spacious! Large parking lot in a pretty good part of town. You can’t beat that rate for Austin. I enjoyed my stay.
