Breakfast was good, staffing was nice.

There was ants in the room. Couldn't sleep the bed sunk in middle and pillows were too soft. Staff were not helpful or friendly.

Booked for business class room but moved to regular room. Too bad only adults allowed for business class room, got a 2yr old boy my bad. But front desk didnt explain if changes on charged amount for transfer.

I love this hotel! It’s the only place I’ll stay when I want to be close to the mall! I was, however, disappointed in the new breakfast. It was pretty terrible….

Room was clean enough. Fridge was un-useable on the freezer portion. Missing pieces. The heat in the room was too much. Had to have the window open all night and the street noise was alot. Could not find the heat control in the room. But location was convienant as we have stayed here several times over the last 15 years. Will consider other options though if it continues to get more aged and the rates keep going up.

We were in town for a funeral and the manager was very accommodating regarding checking in and checking out which meant a lot to us at the time. The staff was friendly from the manager to the workers we saw doing housekeeping etc. The building was clean and neat. Thank you!

Location of the hotel was great, near stores, geocey stores, gas stations, and near the West Edmonton Mall. Hotel rooms were clean, comfy beds, clean bedding. Nice breakfast included in the mornings with differentbreakfasteach day. Good on parking outside the hotel. Only thing the AC was a bit loud other than its all and all great experience with reasonable prices for night stays.

The room was large. The clerk moved us to top floor because there was a reception right below our room and it was a bit loud. Once we moved it was very quiet.

Hotel is pretty clean and very convenient to all stores.

The room is clean but we can hear the voice of the guests from the other room. Also the sound of bathroom’s exhaust from the other room. The toilet bowl is kind of low and the toilet flush is kind of slow. Anyway, the hotel price is reasonable with free breakfast.

For a budget hotel this is an excellent choice. It’s convenient for West Ed Mall and is exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds. The included breakfast is a bonus too. I had to push the curtains back on the window ledge to stop the air from the fan/heater/air con unit going right up behind them. Not a major deal tbh. Also it isn’t a very quiet unit (although better than a lot are) but it was a consistent noise, so if you do well with white noise you’ll be fine. That said, I would stay again if I had to be in the area, it’s definitely good value for money compared to other options. It’s also a lot better than more than a few of the way more expensive places I’ve stayed in Edmonton.

Hotel is clean, beds comfy. Breakfast room is very large and spacious with a very good offering; it appears the space used to be a restaurant so there is lots of room and tables. Breakfast room staff are very attentive and they were constantly ensuring everything was clean and full. Impressive to be honest for a complimentary meal - exceeded expectations. Location is very close to West Edmonton Mall but a bit of a distance to downtown area. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

Building doesn’t feel homie with the brick walls in the hallways. Rooms are nice and clean and staff was friendly and helpful

Nothing horrible but it just isn't a nice hotel. It was safe, and convenient but needs updating. I had to change my 1st room because it was so noisy (even though I requested a quiet room). Staff was pretty indifferent.

We were there for a surgical procedure. Staff was more than helpful and accommodating. We had to extend our stay and they helped get me the best rate possible. Rooms were quiet and clean. Would stay again.

It wasnt our first choice for hotel but was pleasantly suprised! Bed was comfortable , and the hotel in the hallways could use an update . Pretty nice if you don’t want to spend a lot!

Not a very nice area, a lot of sketchy people, people sleeping hallways, security was bad, my sister in law arrived at a different time than I did and walked up to the desk to request a key and without asking for id the person at the desk gave her a key.

Property was ok. Hotel is on a busy section so sirens were heard throughout the night. Numerous less fortunate people around the property...did not feel safe in the parking lot alone. Breakfast was decent enough but there was usually a wait for hot food and waffles. Lots of seating options! Rooms were dark and floors looked clean, but socks were always dirty. Had to change rooms at 9 pm the first night when the toilet stopped working. However, the hotel is a 6-7 min easy drive to West Edmonton Mall. House cleaning always re-stocked items. Check-in/out was easy.

Perfect stay

Great hotel! Clean, good sized rooms, easy check in. Lots of parking and close to WEM and everything we needed. Breakfast was good.. simple, but good. It was very busy because of the Pink concert.. but still very well run despite all the ppl. Would recommend.

Couldnt really complain for a budget type property. It was quiet, didnt have issues with screaming children or people up partying all night. Room was exactly what i would expect, spartan but practical. Our only complaint was the various pateons smoking both Tobacco and Marijuana right outside the main lobby, so either or would occasionally waft into the lobby or you would have to walk out through it. There were signs postdd saying not to smoke there, but sadly it was not enforced at all.

We tried to check in at 4:45pm and our room wasn’t ready. No appology. The coffee maker didn’t work, the tub drain was broken so the water just ran out and the toilet wouldn’t flush all the way. I would never return to this property.

You can hear doors slamming shut all down the hallway and people talking. Floor in room felt dirty with bare feet even when it’s been cleaned. Food or something on walls from previous guests. 4 night stay and no maid service, had to ask for towels and garbage bags the third day. Whole city was sold out due to concert in town or would have changed hotels. Needs major renovation and more staff. Staff was friendly but can tell they are overworked.

Good quality inexpensive hotel for the last 20 years

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We chose this hotel because it was walking distance to the West Edmonton Mall and it also included a pretty decent breakfast each morning. The only negative comment I would have is that the Wi-Fi was not the best. Quite often we had to stop watching Netflix because the Wi-Fi would continuously buffer. However, if we ever come to Edmonton again in the same area I would be sure to book this hotel. I felt very safe walking. Even though we were on a very busy street, we did not hear the traffic one bit.

This is my first time to check in in this hotel and absolutely I will come back here again and again and again.

We came to West Edmonton Mall, family of 5 for 4 days. It's about a 7 minute drive to the mall !! Stayed in their standard room. Beds were super comfortable, bedding too. Great AC. Awesome Continental breakfast in the mornings. GOOD COFFEE, that's a must for us lol! Staff was very polite and it's clean. No microwave in room which wasn't the worst thing but there is one available to use at the front. Overall great experience.

Disappointed

The room floor is sticky, AC not cold. At the beginning each time we turn the ac thermostat to cold it will give out loud noises. After we report it to the hotel, they fixed it, no more loud noise but it will not get cold. Washroom very small. They only offer to change the towels after 3 days but no room service. Hallways are dark.

Love the included breakfast!

This property falsely advertises the quality of their rooms. They also only offer house keeping every other day, but don’t mention that when you check in. Therefore we ran out of towels and everything else and were made to feel bad when we asked for clean ones.

Room was good but hallway was very hot due to hot weather, there should be air-conditioning in the hallway, I am surprised that they don't have microwave in the room and they can't provide microwave up on request, I would have get better hotel for the amount I paid here.

The place was good value for the price and location, but 10/10 would not recommend the complimentary breakfast, you’re better off heading to Denny’s. The breakfast potatoes were foul lol
