The property itself was good. The room was supplied well and clean. The area around the location was suspect and a lot of suspicious activity nearby.

Room were Not properly cleaned, breakfast had not much selection and tasted old

Breakfast was real limited and some room doors are busted and can be easily opened without a key card

Hidden Gem

I booked my room based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. The owners of the property are really doing a great job of taking care of it and updating everything. The hotel lobby and hallways were very clean and fresh smelling. My room was very clean and well maintained. The parking area is well lit, clean and had recently had the stripes repainted. Not much of a choice for restaurants within walking distance, but plenty are in a very short drive. All in all I can’t complain about it, especially at the price.

The employees were very pleasant and friendly and helpful. We had to stay there due to an accident. The employees and the facility far exceeded our expectations. Staff did a great job!

Nice simple clean hotel

This was a clean hotel. The room was basic. But that was fine it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple. The rate was good. I would stay here again.

tub is dripping water pretty good the rail where you hold on to the shower thing it's got rust around it last time I stayed here they had a problem with these kind of little flea and they were all on the window and on top of the air conditioner they never got around to coming to clean it now that I'm looking at the tub it has hair on it and there sure not mine.there no adjustment for my room not being clean right.

Clean hotel Horrible breakfast!

Let's see, we walked into room and the fire alarm was chirping, out of the 3 lamps in the room 2 had no lightbulbs, the rug was not vacuumed, the refrigerator didn't work. The fan in the bathroom was broken and made a horrendous noise when turned on. While taken a shower the drain was not working and by the time I finished the water was over my ankles. It did not drain until hours after. The place for breakfast was shabby and dirty. Sooo disappointed since Super 8 are affiliated with Wyndham.......

The property was clean and the staff was nice. The location wasn't incredible, as it wasn't very walkable, since I had a pet with me. But besides that, I enjoyed my stay.

Great Stay

It was nice for one night and they had good breakfast

The bath tub wouldn’t drain , the toilet you had to adjust the handle back or it would run . Didn’t see the cleaning lady for two days and didn’t see anyone at the front desk to tell them about these issues

There was no blow dryer. The sink and tub drains were broken. The sink drained slow. They did not clean the room. Towels were small. WiFi password was not provided. TV remote did not work. Coffee maker broken, start button dented.

Antiquated rooms. Small TV, mildew smell, bathroom had sink only no counter. Cleaning crew blasted music in morning hours.

Linens on top of bed were visibly dirty with stains. Lamp shades visibly dirty with stains/age. Toilet ran all night long. My husband even tried to fix it & it wouldn’t stop. The pillows were the size of a toddlers pillow. Literally. Non English-speaking Housekeeping kept knocking on our door at 8 AM & didn’t understand the word “occupied” so they just kept knocking & yelling “housekeeping!” No apology when we mentioned to the lady when we left (20 minutes later bc we were so annoyed & exhausted) about the toilet, & we had to hunt someone down to tell them because no one was at the front desk.

Not so good, I spotted 3 roaches in the room on different occasions and 1 in the hallway area. Also, the comforter didn't look too clean I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and have not seen roaches I liked this hotel because of the location close to the highway when I am down visiting family and needed to travel along I-85 but unfortunately I will have to search for somewhere else in the future, don't want to risk bringing home any insects hopefully, management will see this and fix the issue.

Fresh blood stains on my bedsheets, broken tv, and leaking refrigerator. I asked for housekeeping when I left the hotel for the day. When I got back, the room had not been touched. When I addressed the front desk about it, they were quick to move me to another room.

Phone did not work in the room and also no hair dryer was told could not get one until cleaning staff arrived

Good Value

Very easy to check in. Room was clean and staff was nice. Not really anything to the continental breakfast, but the rest was good.

Nice & clean

Very clean, would definitely stay there again!!

Had to change room three times. TV in room 204 did not work, The bathroom plumbing in room 112 was leaking from under the sink at 2:30 AM. With the water off, water was coming out of the pipes. Floor was wet from the bathroom to the air conditioner. Room 216 had Town around the air conditioner to catch the leaking water. Needless to say we did not sleep. I will be asking for a Refund.

Nice hotel for a pet friendly stay. Our room was next to an outside exit which made it convenient to take dog outside. A nice area and very friendly staff. Breakfast was just cereal and muffins. But there is a waffle next door in walking distance. Worth the cost. Will stay again.

Toilet backed up

Could hear neighbors through the walls. Dirty standing water in toilet. Toilet backed up when flushed. Alerted front desk asking to change rooms. Instead was handed a toilet plunger and told to unclog toilet myself. Plunger didn't work so toilet remained clogged for my 2 nights. Did not sleep at this motel. Went to stay with a friend in town.

Two night stay. Was gone by 9am the first morning but room wasn’t cleaned or even fresh towels put in the room.

No doorknob on bathroom door, no hot water for shower and check in staff was annoyed for being bothered.

The lemons on the beds were stained. Towels were stained and varyed flimsy and the toilet was backed up. And the bed was a brick Check in what's great. Continental breakfast was very bad because they did not have the pancake. Batter, since that was the main thing for breakfast, there was no continental breakfast.

We came here from the Red Room Inn in West Point GA who didn’t even have a lobby, the place looked closed down, the room was absolutely filthy and the internet didn’t work, and we were afraid to leave for dinner because we were towing a boat and didn’t trust the people hanging out around the building next door. We left and came HERE and we’re SO much happier with the money spent. RRI was $90 and Comfort was $109, plus $20 dog fee and I’ve learned my lesson. Sometimes you just don’t go for cheapest option. Very happy with the money spent.

Bed had stains all over it. Bathroom had hair on floor.

We arrived in the middle of the night due to unexpected delays and Mick at the front desk didn't miss a beat checking us in and giving us helpful info about the property. I interacted with a few other members of staff including housekeeping and everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. The bed was comfy, the room was spacious and had all basic amenities one would need. The bathroom was clean and shower pressure was great.

Seems sketchy, but wasn't too bad.

What is really weird and a bit disconcerting is that there is NO signage about the hotel at the exit, or even on the building. Maybe the sign is being repaired, but the place was dark at 9:30 when we arrived and it felt a little sketchy. Also, I had tried to contact the hotel thru the phone number and the link on Hotels.com and could not get through. All I got was a busy signal. I even phoned the number while standing at the reception desk and got a busy signal. The receptionist could not have cared at all about this which is disappointing.

Stay somewhere else even if longer drive

You need to take them off your list. Broken deadbolts. Someone had been using our room when we first arrived and we were given a difficult time when we asked for another room. Tears and burns in linens. Place needs major repair and security improvement.

Everything was fine. The breakfast was a little limited. For a king-size bed, there were only 4 flat feather pillows. I didn't realize until we got there that the hotel is on Eastern time even though in Alabama (almost all of which is on Central time), so check out time was an hour earlier than I expected.

Ok for the price

The hotel was ok for the price but half of the lamps didn't have bulbs in them or the bulbs were burned out, the plug in the bathroom didn't work causing us to have to unplug the refrigerator to run a hairdryer and the hotel advertised hot breakfast which didn't exist.

I like that you could walk to the store and the places to eat very convenient to 85 quiet and Clean Stay.

The stay was ok for the price in that area compared to 30 minutes down the road but bed was hard breakfast was not great and the toilets leaked

Very quiet....easy to sleep. Our was not bad, But feel it coukd have been better. I stayed at Quality inns before but the rooms never felt cheap. I know i was in a different state with different clientele, but the room felt cheap.

Room was clean, with a few minor exceptions. Very thin walls, was able to hear all of the noises from our neighbors and cleaning staff outside the rooms.

The front desk was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. I think my room could have been cleaner.

Concerned based on previous reviews.

Hotel rooms were clean. I was concerned based on some of the previous reviews. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. The hairdryer in our room worked but had wires out the bottom that didn't look safe to use. I told the housekeeping. The king room had a couch that pulled out. It was filthy and looked like it had never been cleaned. Thankfully we didn't need to use it. Overall we would stay again.

The room was relatively clean but it felt damp and the floors felt sticky. Housekeeping came to our room, but honestly I don't think they did anything but fold the towels. The beds were left unmade and they took the soap by the sink but didn't leave a replacement.

It was an okay stay for the money, the showers needed to be cleaned better or new stuff just old and dingy. But overall for the price I couldn’t complain spect much more.

Smelled like smoke and pot… TV remote didn’t work and the phone to call to complain didn’t work with. Nasty feel…

House keeping came banging on our foor at 8a.m. asking if we are checking out... check out is at 11a.m... She spoke very limited english. Horrible experience.

Filthy, mold in the bathroom, cracked, water damaged walls and ceiling, the safety latch was broken and the door looked like it had been kicked in previously (latch missing screws, the metal brace was cracked.) Mold in the A/C vents, the A/C was so loud it rivaled the semi-trucks pulling in and out of the gas station next to the hotel. Dirty, rude staff, poorly maintained. In a word: disgusting.

Close to some good restaurants

swing lock on the door was broken an no exhaust fan in the bathroom. breakfast was'nt good at all.

My crew had to go to Lanett to work. The truck broke down, he had to get it fixed and stay an additional night. He got it fixed brought some of the equipment home and another one of my crew went to help clean up. They found they needed a second room but were unable because the first room was in his name. Technically it was in mine. So we are seeking another room for tonight due to lack of sleep. Additionally there was an altercation in another room. The police busted in the door and there was blood on the floor.

My stay was nice. The only problem is the housekeeping didnt have additional bath cloths when i requested them and it was a wait if about 45 minutes for them. The pool was closwd sue ro weather but we had a great stay.

Nothing extra great but rooms was clean. The hotel was booked & they only had 1 room available & it was smoking. We can deal with that. We knew that in the beginning. But the hallway on the 3rd floor reaked of cigarettes smoke. They didn't give us enough towels. We had to go to front desk to get more. I discovered the blow dryer didnt work after i showered & had wet hair with no hair dryer. I called the office & they got a new one but i had to go down to get it. The door handle in the bathroom was broken off & i could open it from the inside. All in All it was good though. Things happen. Things break & have to be fixed. I understand. I would stay here again at that price.

Facility is run down and needs repair. Not an acceptable cleanliness. It seems to be understaffed.

The moment we went in on Friday there was a strong odor of weed. We went to our room "non smoking floor" and the room next to us throws a party! Smoked weed! Went down to change rooms and the front desk said they do NOT have to give us another room. But dd. Once in another room no problems. The " breakfast sucked mini rubber pancakes, week old bagels.. ok i could go on. But needless to say saved money but rather would have spent more to get a QUALITY hotel.

2nd time staying

Staff was great in everyway. Room was a room, it served it's purpose. I do wish that there could have been something done about the constant smell in the hall way of the 3rd floor that is obviously the smoking floor. As a smoker smells don't typically bother me but this was crazy, it was as if you were being slapped in the face by it when you got off the elevator. I didn't say anything to the staff as I know that there was nothing that could be done. All in all as I said it served it's purpose. Being that this is the only place near my fathers home that allows pets I really don't have a choice of where I can stay when I come to visit.

Needs improvements

Elevator was out of order so I had to carry my luggage up 3 flights of stairs, there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, there was limited housekeeping due to the elevator issue, there was trash thrown about the hallway from other guests, one morning the front lobby doors would not open,etc,etc

Location was fine. The minute you walk toward the elevator the only thing you can smell is the scent of people smoking pot from the first floor up to the third floor. When we mentioned it to the night Manager about some guest smoking pot on the third floor which is where we were she told us that that floor was the Ghetto floor. That i did not appreciate at all. The heat and air unit in our room had leaked water in front of the unit and when told about it when we got up this morning the morning guy said that it was from the rain which it wasn't from the rain. The heating unit was not working properly the whole night. This stay will be our last one. We have been staying there when we make the trip to Alabama but with the pot use and being told that its a Ghetto floor just because we had a dog and smoke cigarettes the legal kind you buy in the stored really disappointed me. We told of the pot smoking and was told that she was trying to find who was doing, well that was a lie in my book. Alls that needed to be done was call the Sheriff's office and request for a K9 to be sent out and let the dog sniff out each room for drugs. Last stay for us.

Checking in was a breeze. The room was spacious enough and had all the required necessities for my stay.

Bugs, hair, open outlets and wrong time zone.

The first night after moving everything I needed for the night into the room, I found live bugs, hair on the toilet and bathroom wall and open outlets. I went straight to the desk and made my complaint. I was told they could not move me to another room as they were full. I would also need to call the manager in the morning. I went back to my room and wanted to cancel or sleep in my car for the night. I couldn't cancel because I would be charged for both nights and it was too humid to sleep in the car. The next morning, I met the manager. He moved me immediately and told me my account would be credited for that night. The new room was 100% better. My account was never credited. I was told I would see it on my bill with Hotels.com. I asked for a receipt and again was told it would be with Hotels.com. That never happened. They also claim to be on EST. They are on CST. They use that hour less difference to show you signed out late. They do have a small sign off to the side of the front desk and if you aren't looking for it, you will not see it.

Room door looked like it had been pried open at some point. With door closed, you could see into the room from outside. The room was sticky and felt damp. Also had long hairs in the bed. Tv hanging unit was broke. For the price paid to be there for a funeral, we were very disappointed with room.

The room was clean and overall the hotel was clean. The air conditioning did not work fully and there was no drinking water available at breakfast. There was a water fountain but it was not one that refilled bottles. It was the older model that most people no longer use because of risk of covid.

Took for ever to be checked in, room was 80'when we got in .It was dirty, bugs dead and alive, floors were not clean bathtub was brown. I read the reviews before booking, very disappointing.

I’d you have any standards I would suggest not staying here. It’s ridiculously unsanitary even with the upgrades and improvements. I found mold in my bathroom and the floor I was on had a horrible smell. I arrived at 8 pm and left at midnight due to the loud noises coming from the next door.

The top lock on the door was broken and not able to use for added security and there was a strange hole where it looked like maybe a dead bolt was taken off the door to the connecting room. You could not see through, but still strange. Other than that, it was a very nice stay. Staff was exceptionally nice!

Felt very comfortable and safe at this property. It is about 40 minutes from downtown Auburn and the rates were very reasonable for a football weekend.

Loud outside until 130am -145am. music laying likethere was a club next door. so loud it shook the windows.

Breakfast bar was not maintained

Room had a roll in shower but no shower curtain. No space for toiletries. Not even a soap dish in the shower. One towel rack above the toilet across the bathroom. The bathroom door would not close completely which is a good thing b/c the inner door handle was broken off. After showering, the water covered the floor.

Affordable- no complaints.

Property, Common Areas, and “Renovated Rooms” are Old and Dated. Patched Ceilings, Dirty Bathtub, Shower was Inoperable, Hairdryer and Ice Machine Were Broken, One of the Electrical Breakers was Apparently Shot as None of the Electrical Sockets Were Operable Thus No Lighting or Room Smoke Alarm System; Blood stains and a Large Hole in the Blanket; Feces on the Stairwell Steps and Back Door Blocked by Old Furniture and Furniture Piled in the Hallways Which is a Fire Hazard. There is No 24 Hour Desk so No One is Available to Contact After Hours. It is Debatable as to Whether This Property Meets AL Building Code. A Open Box is Left on the Counter for You to Place Your “Room Key” in After Hours Which Anyone Could Easily Access and Be Liable for Any Damages. Would Not Even Consider Complimentary Beverages Considering the Building Cleanliness and Infrastructure. Backs to a Noisy Run Down Truck Stop. Junk Furniture and Debris Piled by a Dumpster in the Parking Lot; Quality Inn Should Revoke the Franchise.

This place had renovated furniture in the hallway where you had to maneuver your luggage around. The window was cracked, food in refrigerator, telephone did not work. The whole stay was horrible.
