Made very uncomfortable
The front desk guy made me very uncomfotable, to the point he attempted to get into my room without permission. I ended up leaving as soon as that happened so i wasnt even there for 3 hrs. Before leaving
This place is a mess. Marijuana smell through out the building. Toilet didn't flush. I had to move rooms because shower didn't work.
I booked an accessible room because I use a wheelchair. The room they gave me was not accessible. I couldn’t fit through the bathroom door. There was a grab bar in the shower, but also a tub. I went back to the desk and they said I could cancel my reservation. I agreed. They said they cleared everything but I’d have to contact Expedia. I did so. Now almost a week later, the last I’ve heard is that the property is not responding and I haven’t been refunded. Taking advantage of the disabled, nice.
Ok
Happy with stay
Disgusting
The room was not clean. Long black hairs all over the pillows and sheets and in the bathroom. I left. There was not way i would spend the night
I went to get this hotel if you paid me to pick Midway is the hotels nobody should go there they ripped me off
Terrible quality, no privacy and not as advertised
Everything was broken and didn't work the way it should have. The doors were so thin you could hear everyone's conversations in the hallway, to a point where you felt like you had no privacy and weren't completely safe.
The atmosphere of this place is as if it is a trucker's hotel that is rented by the hour for the lot lizards of the area to be getting their action with the passing travelers Just gross disgusting and I'm not one to complain. I'm homeless and I don't want to go back there. I rather sleep on the street
It wasn’t as bad as the other reviews said, but you definitely get what you pay for. It was a little run down, smelled STRONGLY of cigarettes and “other” scents, and the free breakfast was meh
Clean nice room
Just... no. Dont do it. Get what you pay for or don't pay for with this one.
2 nights, after first night got a new room as the AC broke, after 2nd night in the morning the toilet lever broke so that was unusable then. But staff in the lobby was super friendly
When I first arrived I noticed my toilet had what appeared to be some sort of dried bodily fluid with hair in it stuck to the toilet seat. When I entered my room fully, i first noticed the seamen on the bedspread, and the stained chair in the corner of the room.(I can only assume also by bodily fluids by the state of the chair.) at this point I called the front desk. The man at the front desk was polite and apologetic and gave me another room. This one was much cleaner, however one of the two beds in the room appeared to be recently slept in. I slept on the opposite bed in my clothes. I was having anxiety and wanted to go for a walk later in the evening, when I excited my room I found a homeless man settling into the stairwell for the night.
If you are looking for a place that smells of smoking in the hall where all the non-smoking rooms are located, a tv that doesn't work and enjoy three police cars at the entrance at 5 AM, then this is the place for you.
Don't risk it.
Horrible place! Noisy people next door all night. No sleep. Police intervention. Ghetto-like motel operated by incompetent foreign ownership.
Amazing
The heater worked intermittently, the hot tub water was luke warm and there was no heat in the pool hit tub area
Hotel felt like it was prostitution and drug use were the main drivers of its business. Rooms were in rough shape physically, broken/chipped walls and funishings. To be avoided.
Honestly wasn’t the greatest hotel. It smelled bad and didn’t feel very safe. I stayed there with some family for acouple nights and I didn’t get my deposit back over makeup and supposedly hair dye getting on the towels $50..which if the towels got cleaned that would all come out that’s all I got to say.
Hotel night staff was great. We will stay here again for a reasonably priced room in the area.
It felt and looked extremely unsafe. There was a terrible odor in the rooms, like spoiled milk and something rotten or moldy. There were instances of people loitering or hanging around the facilities at all times. Loud noises outside and in the hallways throughout the night.
First room was not cleaned properly, dirty cup marks and surfaces were not wiped down. We switched to a different room and the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Nothing was cleaned other than the bed sheets being changed. This place needs to do better. I got charged for an accidental spilt drink but on their end, the whole place was dirty. Do not recommend.
Questionable people hanging around. More of a temp housing for low income people without homes. Smells of stale cigarette smoke.
Smelled like pee. Noisy all night. Stay anywhere else.
Eh
First time ever with lots of hotel stay that i only got 1/2 hr late checkout, usually a hr at least ,window was stuck open on a cold night and very outdated TV
Run down dirty depressing place from the 69s
Staff were very friendly and service oriented. Thank you!
The pictures did not accurately reflect the conditions of the property. I left and got a room elsewhere. The room I was assigned had torn drapes, the chain lock on the door was broken and the window screen was ripped.
Vacation
stay was okay, not the best my wallet was stolen, rooms were not equipped with queen beds. They had full standard size beds in the rooms, floor was not swept properly rooms & bathrooms need to be updated, my curtains were ripped in some places. Outside was run down. would not stay again
It was worn down and gritty. Restaurant service was great but food was horrid.
Just wasn't the greatest.
1
Didn’t like area room was dirty
Broken glass outside the entranceway, noisy children thundering up and down the hallway, breakfast offering was very limited including moldy fruit salad Facility is run down but pretty clean and pool was definitely chlorinated
Didn’t stay
We didn’t stay there. No parking and seedy area with people hanging around outside the lobby. I wouldn’t put either myself or my wife through that environment. We couldn’t get a refund but chose to lose four nights of charges than stay. We chose a much better hotel downtown.
When I got there, the receptionist said my room was canceled, then I had to book another room, and the only rooms available were 2 bedrooms, which were more expensive than the 1 bedroom I originally booked. At night you can hear people talking in the other rooms walls are super thin people below were playing music extremely loud at 3 am for at least a good 40min until workers finally did anything about the crackheads in the parking lot it's the last time ill ever stay here very disappointed
Very quiet had a good rest!
I hate to give this property such a low rating because the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and I don't want it to reflect poorly on them. Plus, it's a very low price, so I didn't expect much. The bar was low, in other words, but even at that, I can't recommend this place until they fix a LOT of problems: most of the exterior doors were broken, hot tub broken, room carpet torn, I wasn't about to trust the breakfast, but the room appeared to be locked and not serving when I went by. Just a dump, overall and the people who own it need to invest in basic repairs for me to feel safe there. It's a very industrial neighborhood. Wouldn't say for sure it's unsafe, but kinda sketchy. Marijuana is legal in MN, and you can smell it pretty much everywhere in this hotel and area.
Room was nice. Property was in a sketchy area but the price was right. The motel staff was nice but the bartender was a little rude.
False advertising and overpriced
APPALLING! -looks nothing like online pics✔️ -abandoned cars in the lot ✔️ -people sitting on coolers getting high in front of their room ✔️ Smell of urine and smoked weed inside(non-smoking building)✔️ Desk clerk in the bar when we arrived✔️ Not given the room we booked✔️ People yelling in the hall(midnight) ✔️ Terribly stained carpet✔️ Cigarette holes in the blankets✔️ Box of soaked tissues✔️ Desk clerk back in the bar when I called the front desk✔️ I'm a retired SWAT officer and didn't feel comfortable there. We left and stayed elsewhere. If you are down for possible live action "COPS' this might be your kind of place.
Really run down, stunk and scary
Someone paced the floor above me all night. Couldn’t use chain lock as it didn’t reach. Smelled of years of smoke and was the worst hotel ever.
Dont do it
dirty hotel old and smells
We checked in and hotel was very old, dirty, and had mold in room. Went to desk to tell them we would not be staying 3 nights. They agreed to refund but i’m still waiting on receipt and refund
Random people wandering through halls and parking lot; loud noises all night long from adjoining rooms.
No lock on room door except for the chain. Very loud neighbors next door . Toilet seat super loose Vending machines located in pool area only allowed dollars.
This place was dirty inside and out. The room smelled like mildew, so I asked to be moved and the second room smelled the same. The room had too doors that looked like they had been broken into before. There’s constant noise all night.
No funciona o la TV y huele mucho a cigarro
When we arrived we immediately regretted this booking. The hotel is old and outdated, the hallway smelled like marijuana, the hot tub was out of service, not one chair around the pool for lounging. This appears to be a place for low income housing and is not family friendly. One resident had a shopping cart outside his door. Huge mistake booking this and we went to find a different hotel for our family even though we couldn’t get a refund. The staff at the front desk was kind and friendly, and didn’t argue when I advised I would be leaving.
Horrible
Place was a dump with undesirables all over the place. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Don't count on that free breakfast
I picked this hotel based on location to metro for an event and free breakfast. While it is close to the metro, this hotel advertised free breakfast and it should not have. We were offered 1 bite size muffin per person and some cold coffee on the 1st day because they didn't have anything left. Day 2 we went down early and received 1 muffin and a cup of juice. In the bathroom the water pressure in the shower was barely enough to wash your hair and the toilet ran and made noises all night long. I knew when booking that this was not a top tier hotel, but this is the worst experience overall I've had with a hotel.
Avoid this place!!
The doors both bathroom and main had been kicked in multiple times. Bedding had cigarette burns in them always classy. Room smelled like old milk. Beds trash. Also I know there isn't anything one can do about the homeless but people roaming around the parking lot asking for money and cigarettes. Hot tub sauna both broke looks like it had been broke for a long time. AVOID THIS PLACE!!
My entire stay I felt unsafe we left early due to bathrooms not working and no one helping or fixing it
Great place to go
Yikes.
Good
No problems on my stay.
Awful
Terrible stuff
I’ve stayed at many Quality Inns but there was nothing of quality for this place. The room was dirty, had a bad smell, had many flaws such as poor repair s, broken fixtures, burnt carpet,
Do the rooms have bad smells?
First room wasn’t clean, second room wasn’t clean had white powder all over the bed. Third room had bed bugs eggs
Very overpriced for what you get. This is an extremely rundown and sketchy property. I had no issues with my car getting broken into but one did worry. The bed was comfortable and the pool clean. It wasn’t all bad but the room reeked of pot smoke and there were cigarette burns all over the bedspread. Do not be lured in by the promise of a free breakfast. It is a pitiful styrofoam plate of equally “plastic” food. In this case, we did not get what we paid for.
Our room looked nothing like the pictures. It was run-down, holes in the carpet, barely functional shower and toilet. The whole facility smelled intensely of smoke and maybe cleaning chemicals, and it was really noisy. I get that not every place is going to be the Ritz, but there should at least be some upfrontness about the condition of the facility.
Not as bad as most the reviews make it to be for a 2* hotel. But if your looking for some place just to lay your head down for the night and Don't spend much time there it's not terrible. Outside parking lot is a bit sketchy. We did discover a cigarette burn on one of the bed covers. TV and room amenities were all in working order. We used our Netflix account and had no issues. The smell of cigarettes and marijuana are very strong through the building even though it is all "non-smoking". No vending machines that we could find but close to gas stations. Overall, not great but not horrible.. There is a 100 dollar deposit upon check in. We booked through Expedia and one night was 109$ got there and the night rate was 65 bucks.. so you'll save more by calling them straight to book a room.. cleanliness wasn't the best definitely wish we woulda brought our own blankets and pillows. We booked here because it was super close to como park and zoo.
The room was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. It smelled like smoke and the carpets were filthy.
Smells of smoke everywhere even non-smoking areas.
Good hotel
The pictures were deceiving. This property was so run down. There was a terrible stench in the room - like old cigars and rot. The hallways smelled strongly of weed. The people that stayed at the hotel were a very scary - like they just came from the trailer park scary. The room said non smoking but it's like they just put the sign up on old smoking rooms. The bedspread even had old cigerette burns on them. There was also a creepy bloody partial hand print on the shower curtain. It was that dark, coppery color that blood turns when it's left to dry. It was so scary. There was also some blood stains on the window curtains. The TV was broken and when I mentioned it to the front desk, he wasn't surprised it was broken. The TV worked fine, it was that the HDMI wasn't getting the signal from the right place. Overall, if you are a single female or if you have a young family, do not stay here. It feels so unsafe here.
Smelled terrible!!!
Bad area
The air conditioning doesn't work well. The room was so hot and there wasn't a screen on the window.
no internet not safe
No Private Internet they controll the internet not safe
Very dirty, very unprofessional staff hair in the suite that I’m pretty sure didn’t belong to us. Homelessness inside/outside hotel. Towels were dirty and clearly not washed. Bedding smelt like cigarettes and sheets had cigarette burns in them. If you could stay away from this hotel. I didn’t know until I knew so learn from me.
Construction made some traveling difficult, thats not the hotels fault. Shower didnt have a lot of pressure
The hotel staff was very pleasant. The building could definitely use some upgrading. Gum on the wall, cigarette burns on the comforter, smelt like stale cigarette/ weed. The pool looked inviting but was closed and the hot tub was empty. We ended up only staying one of the nights and I paid for 2. I wont include photos but i did take some. When i called to tell them i wasnt coming for my 2nd night i couldnt understand the staff member. ( a male)
This is the absolute worst hotel ive EVER BEEN TO!! DIRTY SHEETS, RUDE STAFF!!!, no tv in our room!! Advertising free breakfast- THEY DO NOT EVEN HAVE COFFEE!!! POOL AND HOT TUB BROKEN! I want a REFUND!!! HALLS SMELL LIKE CIGARETTES AND MARIJUANA THERE WAS HAIR IN TUB ON SINK. TOILET NOT EVEN WIPED DOWN IT HAD PEE ON THE RIM! NO SOAPS. THEY TOOK A DEPOSIT n said id get it rite back in the morning. Its been 2 days and nothing! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! Shut this nasty place down. 👎👎👎👎👎👎
Saw the property didn’t bother checking in. It was that gross.
Wasn't really up to my standards room kind of old
I waited for 10 mins at the front desk when I got there and had to call them on my cell phone to get someone to the front desk. It smelled terrible. Once I was given my keys, I went to the room and it was already being used by someone else! I did not feel safe here nor did I eventually stay. I have asked them for a refund because this place is unfit and unsanitary.
It's a motel, not a hotel. No breakfast offered while restaurant is being renovated. Couple arguing in the next room all night could be heard clearly through thin walls. Smokers at every exit. Right at the door. Its an old motel in a sketchy neighborhood.
Not a quality inn
1. The room smelled lightly of vomit. 2. The WiFi didn't work. 3. The TV remote didn't work and never worked. The hotel staff's second attempt left us with a remote that had a missing on-off button (broken off). I gave up on him (and on at least a neutral review). 5. He took two or more hours to response to this request and to a request for more coffee and more cups. I had to go to the front desk to remind him of these requests. 6. The bathroom did not have a working vent. 7. The refrigerator froze our food, even though it was on a low setting (and it was off balance).
This particular motel was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. Right away I had to ask for another room after the first one they gave me smelled like old cigarette-burned carpet (and there were cigarette burns in the carpet!). After I brought the manager up and asked him how it smelled to him, he only said it was the cleaning chemicals and I smell. (I work in maintenance and I know the smell was definitely not any cleaning supplies). The room also had a large crack in one corner and very old and dated furniture. To his credit, the manager did find me a room that was a little better. The Halls are old and dreary. In place of a fire extinguisher was an empty beer bottle. I joked to my wife that it would be a comfortable stay if I was in a "third world country." It is not in a good neighborhood either, being a much older part of town and close to industrial properties. My view from my room was a shipping container. I think two stars is being quite generous, considering they advertised breakfast on their website but in the morning I discovered they "don't have breakfast"; the hot tub was not working either. The PTAC unit in the room is rather noisy making sleep less than comfortable, though the king size bed was reasonably comfortable. It says Quality Inn on the sign, but they don't tell you what kind of quality you're getting for your $103. I was able to book another room at a Country Inn & Suites in Eagan for $89 the next night. It was well worth the change.
The room is spacious.
Staff was very helpful the room was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely refer my family & friends
Just not good.
Booked believing breakfast was available, it was not. No smoking facility/ property and halls smelled of cigarettes and Marijuana. Doors didnt seal. Heater was extremely slow to make heat.
Suggestion
It looked like the building need upgrades in order to keep guests stay enjoyable and comfortable
Bad area
I had five days booked here but could only stay one before having to cancel. The Continental breakfast does not happen anymore so if you're booking for that, go elsewhere. The upstairs had signs on the door claiming the whole area was a 'quarantine zone', there were rips in the blanket, the walls were so thin you could hear everything, the pool was down, and the very worst part was the room. It was so musty and hard to breathe I woke up finding it hard to do so. The employees were nice enough but overall I did not feel safe and I'm still waiting on my refund.
Hotel
Lobby smelled like pot. Hallways smelled like garlic. When we got to the room it was cold since the heat wasn’t on. Probably 50 degrees in there. Won’t stay again
Friendly staff, affordable rate. Close by

I stayed at this Quality Inn with a business associate on a trip to meet colleagues. I’m extremely happy we only stayed in the room for sleeping. The room had clean sheets, and towels, but smelled like a locker room. The smell was something between urine and body odor and seemed to be coming from the mattresses. Furthermore, the water pressure in the shower left us disappointed, as well as the broken handle on the sink. There was also a digital clock radio that had mostly unintelligible numbers and began making a scratchy clicking noise around 6:30 AM. I can’t believe there was a $100 deposit for this.
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Advertise no smoking, entire place including room reeks. Advertise free breakfast, this does not exist either. Hot tub was luke warm. Cigarette burns through our bed sheets, and topped off with black stains on pillow upon arrival. Went to turn TV on and it was completely broken. When refund was requesting the customer service was awful. Got charged almost $300 for staying 1 night and keep being told “call tomorrow” 3 days in a row. Would never recommend staying here to anyone!!!
The entire property smelled heavily of Marijuana. Furniture was in disrepair, missing pieces and broken. Bedding was discolored and full of holes. Heat had been turned off in the room, in December in Minnesota... We canceled and found a different hotel for our trip, paying full price for it was unpleasant but there was no way we would have been comfortable staying there with our family.
Hotel service/front desk receptionist was fine, but the shower head and dripped constantly, leaving the floor wet, it wasn’t very clean, there was cigarette burns on both comforters, the tv kept blinking in and out and we had to restart it. We also weren’t able to watch normal cable television, we had to log into our Netflix account to be able to watch something.
I it's convenient because they still take cash but it's inconvenient because they are nosy and they are rude.
The people above me slammed doors and pounding on the floor all night and morning until 3 am so I couldn't get any sleep ,the front desk guy said there good people and they won't compensate a night . I believe there friends of there's even after I made 3 complaints .beware of this property staff doesn't care and won't solve any issues even though you paid for rest .

The room was ok but the hallways smell bad! The breakfast was a joke. The old room smelled bad. All there was was corn flakes, rasin bran, or toast, milk water and tang type “Orange juice” You had to go back to the lobby area to make tea or coffee and they only had the tiny styrofoam cups with no lids:(
