bathroom toilet set was horrible and itching all night tv didn’t work

The rooms was half clean, the bathrooms was terrible, the room had an odor its overated doesnt look nothing like the pictures in the inside

Pretty nice and not a bad price

They put smoking on same floor as non-smoking. You run the gauntlet through the smoke stench to get to your room.

Overall the hotel is pretty nice BUT the bathroom was not very clean. The toilet and tub was not properly cleaned.

Worst Quality Inn ever

Luckily i was real tired or i would have left. Non smoking halway wreaked of weed. Initially opening room smelled mango but soon that dissappeared and rest of stay smelled like a kitty litter box. No water pressure and water was soft. Only possitives were bed comfortable snd they had premium cable channels.

Accessibility not really accessible. High tub, could not step up and in to shower. Had to wash at sink.

The beds are really soft, an the rooms are very clean.

The moment you enter a dank, moldy, old nicotine smell attacks your sense of well-being. The staff checks you in from behind a plexiglass screen that doesn’t say “classy.” The hallway smells even worse. Then the room. Everywhere you look needs a repair or clean. Just don’t.

Do not recommend at all, room was filthy, we got non smoking and our blankets smelled like an ashtray, the air didn’t work hardly at all so we stayed hott all night, the bathroom and room itself was just super dirty!

The place had the worst smell in the hall and I did get a smoking room, but it smelled like marijuana so bad. Our shower did not work, above the bathroom mirror where the light is you can see the pipes and ceiling, and all the lamps were covered in rust. The bed was comfortable and the lady at check out was very nice.

Given a room with no working shower. Water ran into tub, but there was no stopper. Complained first morning to manager who said they would check it out. Wife said they came to the room looked at it then left. Left with no way to shower for first day. Came back later second day and told the desk clerk who finally moved us to another room. This place is trash!

Absolutely disgusting rooms. When I first got there, the lobby smelled like marijuana, the volume on my tv in the room didn’t work, and the sprinkler system in the bathroom was badly rusted and dripping. There was a puddle of rust water on the floor. I ended up asking to switch rooms based off of the tv issue. The new room was even worse. First off, they gave me a smoking room when I booked non smoking, so the stale smoke smell made me sick. The ancient lamp on the desk was literally an electrical hazard. I could hear the surge in it if turned on. The desk chair was disgusting and had a broken wheel. The dresser was broken at the bottom. The wall had a big spot of sheet rock mud that wasn’t finished and just painted over. The sofa and chair in the living room was just as bad, if not worse looking/stained as the desk chair. Not sure how it’s possible, but the bathroom was even worse. The toiletries looked used. They were not full. The toilet took 15-20 seconds of holding the handle down before it would flush, and sometimes wouldn’t even fully flush. The faucet in the shower was rusted and dripping as well. Had a blue/green stain on the tub from where the water was dripping. My water actually was the same color when I first turned it on. It leaked from the faucet and shower head as well. The shower curtain smell was horrible. Only thing included in the complimentary breakfast was a few pieces of bacon and bread that ran out quick. I’m sure I’m missing something in this review.

clean rooms and building

It’s was a good stay but the had roachs im the hotel. They was crawling up the walls and on the bed

Hotel smelled musty and old. Air conditioning didn’t work good.

Bathroom sink did not drain at all, my husband got sick trying to brush his teeth in a nasty sink full of dirty water. Told us there was no maintenance man until tomorrow. Did not offer us another room. Pool did not work. She informed us AFTER she ran our credit card and asked if we were okay that the pool isn’t working. Breakfast was horrible. Boiled eggs and bacon but they would not refill the bacon So we got zero bacon. Not one single piece of fruit offered. Cereal dispenser empty. Rude staff. Horrible experience.

Good stop-over

The hotel was ok. I just needed something for one night while traveling. Very loud from other guests. They dropped trash and cigarette butts in the hall. Breakfast was very limited in selections, but it was free and pretty good.

It was in the 90's and the air conditioning was turned off. There was a big blob of sticky stuff on the night stand (I hope it wasn't body fluids), the toilet was loose so every time you sat on it or stood up it moved & rattled. Not a good experience

Horrible. Went through 4 rooms before being able to stay in one as all hotels were booked. Dirty rooms, bad smoke smell, leaking roof in one room, & one was still being occupied which they gave me card key too!

The shower didn’t work , the air conditioner didn’t work, and the tv didn’t work. There was no hot water in the room. By far the worse hotel experience I have ever had !!

No hot water

I reserved a king smoking room when I got there the room had no hot water the guy at front desk said to wait so I did . I went three times an he said same thing finally they put me upstairs in a non smoking room with broke air conditioning so I swear all night long got no sleep.....I will never stay there again ...bathtub wouldn't drain

The smell in the room was horrible

The customer service at this property is excellent! The front desk attendant was very nice and professional. She apologized for the linen and towels being stained. No accommodations were offered as she told me all of the rooms were the same. In this case, I guess you get what you pay for! Just passing through.

Room was not cleaned for 3 days

After booking my 3 rooms and receiving my confirmation number the desk refused to check me in or call anyone about it at all! It was 11:56 pm .! The dront desk clerk then began to curse at a few of my employees ended up with the police there !?

There was a whole in the tile of the bathroom, the pool was closed, the breakfast was prepackaged muffins, and the lobby smelled of marijuana. We booked that hotel for the breakfast and pool which were non existent

Staff was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. The building itself could use a little revamp.

Absolutely terrible

The floor of the room by air conditioner was wet, the bathroom sink was falling, the shower/tub looked awful, no hot water, no water pressure, the toilet did not hardly flush, and the hallway and the room smelled like marijuana.The continental breakfast was mini hostess donuts, toast that didn’t even look like toast and jelly. My husband and I will not ever stay there again.

You get what you pay for

The room was okay for what I paid. If I were a truck driver stopping in to get a shower and nap, it would be fine. It was quiet but really needs some updates.

Not very adequate.

This stay was so so. The breakfast we only a very small muffin and cookies. They coffee was so weak it looked like colored water. I asked for a Box of Kleenex for the room and they had none. The mirrors in the bathroom looked like they had not been cleaned in a year. So the stay was OK.

Avoid

No breakfast, no pool, people hanging out in parking lot with vehicles with smashed windows. Desk told us we could get coffee and cookies for breakfast. We ended up leaving as we felt very unsafe.

Overall good for the price paid, but dissatisfied with the continental breakfast, skimpy with poor food choices

ROOMS DIRTY, BATHROOM NOT CLEANED, BEDDING HAD STAINS, AND HOLES IN SHEETS. WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED AT INCLUDING STAFF. SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM EXPEDIA AND CERTAINLY REMOVED FROM QUALITY INN FRANCHISE. WILL NOT TRUST BOOKING THROUGH EXPEDIA AGAIN.

Don’t stay here!

Nasty! Looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. Splatters of who knows what all over the walls. The light switch and phone was nasty. There wasn’t even a comforter on one of the beds. Absolutely disgusting!

Easy check in. Key card wouldn’t open the exterior door we were instructed to use so we walked to another door. That door wasn’t locked so we were able to walk right in. Got to room and AC wasn’t on and didn’t work properly. It was hot. Hotel was older and in need of cleaning and repair. Site says buffet breakfast but NO BREAKFAST WAS OFFERED. We will choose another hotel next time. Thumbs down

The location was great and the staff was nice. This facility is very outdated. When I got to my room the door was being held open by the cross lock where anyone could have access to my room (I saw several other rooms the same way guess it was for all vacant rooms). The room had a musty smell cause the air was off, the ice machine was full of mold on the outside so I can only image what the inside looked like.

When we went to check in to the inn the lady at the front desk claimed she was unable to find our reservation. She ended up giving us a room that the key cards would not work for and was down a hallway that reeked of cigarette smoke. The room itself was fairly clean but we discovered during cold showers that the tub did not drain properly; we stood in water up to our ankels. We also had issues with the toilet not flushing properly. Breakfast was subpar, just a few mini donuts and muffins with nasty coffee. At checkout they had finally managed to find our reservation.

I would just say this. For the price of rooms in this town. The price is ok for the room. If I come back to Magee Mississippi I will be staying here.

Bed bugs !! Our whole softball team was booked and when the group started to arrive the room were disgusting and bed bugs!! They would not refund the whole stay! Stated I would be charged 1 of 2 nights now fighting to get refund as my card was charged 8 times

Disappointed

When I got there because we didn't get there until late I tried to open the door to my room and there was about 4 people in my room do and drugs so the front desk had to move me to another room it was aggravating and stressful after driving 14 hours

There was no pool or breakfast as stated in the info. I was charged full price for unusable amenities and horrible WiFi.

Mold and mildew

The lobby was clean. The front desk person was nice and knowledgeable. The room was filled with the smell of mildew and flies. The comforters had cigarette burns. The outlets were faulty. I would not recommend this hotel

The rooms seem clean but the linens on the bed were really used and thin. The pool was closed but it was in very terrible condition. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and seem very knowledgeable

This hotel is VERY dirty!! Not clean and smells awful. Would have left, but no other availability within the next 100 miles

Well because of Covid 19 there was no pool available, and no continental breakfast,,,, the chairs in my room was stained REALLY BAD TO WHERE YOU DONT WANT TO SIT ON THEM! The carpet needed steam cleaned it was sticking if you where bare footed and my feet was BLACK WITH DIRT!! And a bad stain on carpet,,,my bed comforter was burnt and tore! NO HOT WATER TO TAKE A HOT BATH!! Then when checking out I wanted to make sure they got my room keys in hand and there was no front desk employee to be found,,but then I saw her outside back to the front desk talking on her personal cell phone! I WILL NOT BE BACK THERE!

It smelled like mildew and everything was broke even the door to the entry of the hotel and the door to the room. Cigarette wholes all in the mattresses and very stained furniture.

Biggest problem i had is the outside light that flashes rapidly at night and could cause someone to have a seizure

We checked in, place was seriously sketchy. Went to the room and right away went to the front desk to ask for refund. Sheets had not been washed, bathroom not clean, shower broken, sink about to fall out from counter top, water damage to ceiling, awful smell. Pictures online look nothing like hotel. Ended up finding a hotel 35 miles north of where we needed but it was worth it for safety and cleanliness.

STAY AWAY

The hallways reeked of pot smoke, the room stunk of cigarrettes. I witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot. The exterior doors to the property do not lock. There were stray cats roaming the halls in the middle of the night. One of the employees at check in (possible the owner) was wearing a frayed, dirty hoodie covered in holes. The mattress was lopsided with our heads lower than our bodies and the pillows were nearly flat. The only positive aspect of our stay was that they agreed to refund 2 of the 3 nights we originally booked when we decided to change hotels.

Absolutely disgusting. Checked out as soon as daylight broke. Room was not cleaned. Sink faucet and shower broken. A supposed nonsmoking room that smelled like stale cigarettes and weed. Comforters were stained. Walls and doors look like they'd never been cleaned. Overall, gross and overpriced. It would have been cleaner sleeping outside. Wish I could upload more than 8 pictures because there is so much more filth.

We couldnt use the lobby at all due to covid, walked through side entrance and we were overwhelmed with the smell of cigarettes. Could use sime updates. We booked through Hotels.com with the option of paying at hotel, we were charged before we ever arrived, and were told this was Hotels.com doing, (mind you i always go through them and this has NEVER happened before), would possibly stay again but wont book before.

Nice room

The outside looks run down. The inside of the rooms are nice. I took a shower and the tub filled up because the drain was not draining properly. No bugs or noise here. I will be back to stay here again.

Baby mama drama. Hotel has a lot of locals that may be semi permanent residents. At midnight a fight broke out between very young adults and the cops came to break it up. They were there stomping around and making noise until 2am.

One night stay

We were there for one night. It is an older hotel. Room was clean beds comfortable. Lobby and breakfast area closed due to covid 10. You check in thru the entry way. Check in was easy and staff friendly!! Was stay again.

Disappointed 😔

I normally don't like to give a bad review. I try to see the good side of things. My stay was ok. The comfort was good but I don't think I will choose this place again. There was a used wet wash cloth draped over the shower(housekeeping must have missed that one). The sink water knob came off when I turned the water on and the be. Runner has cigarette holes in three places on it. Due to Covid there was no breakfast so I can not speak on how the breakfast was. Other than the few little housekeeping issues the stay was ok

This is an aging property. The stench of smoke is everywhere. The building itself did not gave air conditioning in the second floor. My initial rooms AC was not adequate to cool the room. The light fixture did not work in my room. The phone and the alarm clock had a greasy residue all over them, consistent with smokers residue. Everything was unplugged. The room had not been cooled prior to our arrival. The coffee machine did not work.

This property is not what i seems to be on in person the faciltiy in the inside is very sad its has a bad odor in hallway and the room has a bad odor and shower curtain look like it have been change in months and also very dusty around the table , headboard and chairs i will never stay there again

Timely check in and pleasantly quiet. The only issue was the cigarette smell in the hallways.

Just say no

The young man on duty was amazing i will give you that. He was very willing to make right but there was nothing he could do. I woke to a leak in my bathroom at 4 am when I went to use the restroom. I was traveling with a small child so I did not complain until he woke up. I cleaned up the mess which on top of that was yellow liquid all over my things on bathroom counter, floor was wet so I walked on wet floor in my socks pretty crappy at 4 am, ruined 2 of my make up pallets, and then called manager later in day and he offered me 10 dollars off my next stay. Ok thank you but no thank you... I would not recommend anything about this hotel except the sweet young man that at 5 am tried to put me in another room...

It was ok!

I didn't stay. The place was disgusting. Mirrors dirty. Ripped carpet. The check in clerk said that he voided my credit card. I didn't stay there!

September 12, 2019 stay

Upon entering the hotel there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I do have to say the room didn’t have that smell aind I was surprised since we were close to the lobby. Some of the ceiling tiles in the entry to the room appeared to be falling down and the bathtub had some mold. The bed was clean. The room was just ok. The man at the front desk was very nice both on check-in and check-out. We didn’t eat breakfast there so I can’t speak to that.

It was a magical experience.... the Disney Land of Mississippi.

Room was not clean, hair all over the shower and our entire hallway smelled of cigarette smoke.
