The window in our ground level room wouldn’t lock. The room was dirty, the heat was on 90* when we arrived and neither us or our kids could sleep for several hours despite laying in bed with the lights out. The reason we chose this hotel was because the kids needed something to do after 12 hours on the road and the listing said there was a pool. After we checked in the kids got ready to swim only to find out the pool is broken. So they were stuck in a smaller than average room that was extremely hot with no outlet for their energy. The staff were inattentive with a young child driving around on a kids 4 wheeler inside the hotel. Definitely give this hotel a 0 out of 10.

Check in was horrible. I pre-paid the full amount of the room and yet was expected to give another $100 IN CASH just to get to my room.

The motel was average in room 110 needs furniture replaced. Roon was average in cleanest.

Hairy bathroom floor.

Long black hair all over the bathroom floor. Kinda gross. My wife and I have short blond hair. We knew it wasn't ours.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and knowledgeable with directions with the area.

When I checked in the floor was wet on 109. The desk person said it rains in sometime. To her credit we did have heavy rains. She gave me another room on first floor. The rooms were both very dirty. Drapes were greasy and torn. carpet very old and looked unclean. Very old facility that really, really needs an upgrade! Would not stay there again.

BLACK MOLD and no pool but good breakfast

The first room we got was full of mold and we all started getting sinus issues. Once we opened the closet and saw all of the black mold we requested a new room. The room we got next was upstairs on the 2nd floor and it was mold free but the a/c had issues. The other big issue was they advertised a pool and that is why we paid more to stay there. The pool was shut down and had not been in use for a VERY LONG time. Breakfast was good and there was no bugs

Pool was empty for repairs and the paper on the door looked like it had been up for months. this seems to be very common with Quality inns. The sheer curtains in the room were so old they were falling apart. the common areas smelled musty as the air was not on. The room itself was clean with a nice bed.

The hotel is old and needs remodeling. The breakfast was just fair.

Just average, not awful, not great. Our room had a musty odor, AC was a bit above the usual noise, pretty good breakfast. Plenty of hotels in the area, would not stay there again.

Staff was very pleasant and kind!

This property was tired and worn. Door handles were rusty and window curtains were filthy. Chair upholstery in room was worn. Hallway was dark and dingy.

We had dirty towels in our room! Rented this hotel for the pool and Wi-Fi, and didn’t have the pool and the Wi-Fi kept going out. The breakfast was good, but the electric went out during the time we were eating. The front desk lady was nice but the housekeeping needs to do better

2nd stay at this hotel and again it was nice and the staff is very friendly.

2 issues, microwave did not work and could not figure out how to get shower working.

One of beds in room was so worn out I could feel the springs in the sinking mattress. Curtains in the room were shredded and ragged on the ends.

Room was not clean at all. Bathtub had a dirt ring around it,. Carpet was dirty,. The people above me sounded like they we body slamming each other on the floor,. the remote would not work the tv and constantly heard slamming door all night.

The only complaint was the strong smell of marijuana in the hallways. Spent 3 days and the smell was always present Not sure how the staff ever missed that.

I thought the mattress was way too hard for my liking, the breakfast was very good. Pool was closed for maintenance. Vending machine was broken.staff was very nice.

The beds were great it was clean the breakfast was really good but the eggs were kinda bland and watery.They stated they had an indoor pool which was one of the main reasons we chose this location..but when we checked in she said they had jst closed the pool indefinitely for cleaning or something 🤔 so that kinda was disappointing she did ask if we wanted to cancel but who wants to do that when the reservation was made a month in advance..

This is an older no frills hotel. But, the service is amazing and the rooms are very clean (cleaned every day)! If you want a good hot breakfast, a clean place to sleep with a good bed, then stay here. It is the only hotel that actually remembers me. I visit 1 time a year.

I just stopped by for an overnight on my way through. Price for a single room was good. Room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Had TV, microwave, coffee maker, fridge among other things. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I knew there was a pool, but I had read in other reviews that the pool was closed for one reason or another, and so it was when I was there. Would have been nice, but I am not sure why it is advertised when you can't use it. I'd just as soon not even know about it if it isn't available. Aside of that, the area is directly off the interstate 74. There are some dining options easily walkable from the hotel. I didn't eat out during my short stay, but on the way in they looked like there were plenty of people in these establishments. It really felt like a relatively safe area as well. I know there are some places off the interstate that can be a little sketchy (or a lot), but this isn't one of them. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Scrambled eggs and sausage patties, orange juice, bananas, and an assortment of other prepackaged muffins and other foods (I just go for sausage and eggs - don't pay too much attention to anything else). Its a good hotel. I'll keep it in mind when I'm travelling through again. Nice place.

Nice place to stay

Very nice place. Easy to access from the highway. Good breakfast options. Refrigerator in room was a plus. Bed was comfortable.

Some of the lights did not work. Remote control did not work. Old and somewhat dirty.

Noise from the floor above. You could hear people walking.

Have stayed here several times on long trips- it is our go to stop for convenience, however the staff is exceptional- that's what makes this an ideal place to stay. Hailey, at the desk ,is so friendly and sweet and helpful. Will always look for the Batesville exit on our long journeys.

disappointing

It was disappointing from the pictures on line, also the pool was under repair and it needs some upkeep and fixing up, also the electric needs to be repaired in the breakfast area every time the toaster is tuned on the electricity goes out;==also no one was around in the morining

There was no elevator. Made it challenging to carry luggage.

Old , keep clean , chair in room was so dirty never set in…curtains side’s broken so dirty I did want to touch curtains .had to use iron to keep curtains closed …slow drain in the shower

GOOD internet

Breakfast was below average. Air conditioner made noises like a door was being opened all night. Very efficient clerk on checkin.

Great location with very friendly staff. Property is older and could use some TLC but it was very clean, beds we’re comfortable and breakfast was fantastic!! 2nd year here and we will be back next year!!

The place is worn out. The hallway had a very perfume like smell. The room was very musty smelling and the carpet felt damp. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. We will not return to this hotel.

Economy priced hotel, lots of breakfast choices including hot sausages, scrambled eggs, & a pancake machine that spits out 2 freshly made pancakes at a time. In an area with several fast food chains to choose from.

Great place,

Basic. Good for the one night stay.

Staff was very nice and assisted with a last minute reservation when our original hotels pool was closed. Hotel was quiet, clean and convenient. The only thing that could have been better was the pool temperature, it was freezing, the kids still had fun though. Great place to stop overnight on a roadtrip! Will gladly stay here again if we roadtrip this way again.

The motel was very clean. The lady doing the check in was very cheerful!

No complaints at all. The staff was helpful, cleaning daily, quiet area, and within walking distance to many dining options.

The daily cleanliness of the room was fine. The maintenance cleanliness of the room is terrible. The cover on the ironin board was stained. The drapes are disgusting. They were broken so i used wash clothes to touch them. So gross!

The room and around the hotel was very dirty. There were literal pee stains on the bedding and when I called down to get a change of bedding, they brought up more and said “these also have stains on them but I promise they’re washed” and said that this was our only option because those are the only sheets they had. The bathrooms and curtains were really bad too. Also to note that the “Queen” size beds were only about as big as a full. There’s no way that someone who’s 5’2 should practically have their feet hanging off a queen size. Also also, when we tried to get something from the vending machine, one was out of order and the other had a hole in the glass and nothing in it. The front staff was friendly

Pool not working

Staff was VERY friendly, property was very clean. Great value. Property was dated in terms of decorations but modern amenities were there. You will be hard pressed to find a better value.

Stayed here for Thanksgiving trip to visit family. Entire hotel was very clean. Room was simple but everything worked and was in good condition. Rooms are dated so if you are looking for modern this is not the place.. If you want a a quiet hotel that is clean and provides a great nights rest - this is your place.

This is the best low cost hotel!

The place is clean with great customer service. They are not a fancy hotel but they keep the place clean and have painted the rooms. Plus, the breakfast is hot and plenty of it. I was there on the 1 weekend that the hotel is packed every year and had no issues or concerns.

Close to interstate highway, but quiet. Good breakfast. Did not like bathroom exhaust fan running when ever lights were turned on (disturbing others when have to use toilet in mid-night).

The view from our room was a stack of old mattresses and such. It's a very busy area and kind of tricky to get to the motel itself. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was clean and much appreciated! Though it's clean, don't expect fancy. It's quite "vintage."

The evening staff at the Quality Inn Batesville was personable, very nice and helpful, morning staff no so. The bed was amazing for a wonderful night sleep. Sheets were extra soothing. The building was tucked back for a quieter stay. I wasn’t a fan of the continental breakfast, milk appeared to be spoiled and the powdered eggs did not taste good. The building is older and slightly out dated. It did not have an elevator, this was slightly problematic for someone with some physical limitations. We noted a hole in the wall behind the entry door to the room and another hole in the hollow wooden bathroom door. I was impressed with the quantity of USB ports available in the room. This is a budget hotel and I have no complaints really for the price I paid. You get what you pay for and overall I was pleased with the accommodations.

This location was right along the highway exit so very convenient and not expensive. Did have a breakfast.

It was clean but it had no atmosphere my view was of a empty parking lot and a cemetery. It looked like my room had just been repainted but the people who did the work did not care how it looked. I get you get what you pay for.
