Was in town for a funeral. The staff was amazing and considerate and very accommodating. They even offered to carry our bags to our room due to there being no elevator, which we declined of course. Hotel was clean.
Great hospitality
Great place to stay for a visit
The bed makes horrible noises if you move at all, musty smell, and breakfast was not up to par ( begals were hard, door on fridge open so yogurt (etc) was room temperature).
They have bedbugs I had to move my room the other room had bedbugs, real bad worse experience ever
Not very welcoming at the desk. Couldn’t use the pool as “the cleaner hasn’t come “. Breakfast items limited and not as fresh as we’ve had at other Quality Inns.
I was just so tired from traveling when I got there. Staff was wonderful!! Gave me an upgraded room so I didn’t have to climb the stairs. Helped me move my stuff. Went above and beyond.
I loved the cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere
If there was an award for outstanding Front Desk Clerk Allison would certainly be the winner!!! I was greeted with a smile and a warm personable welcome…just unheard of these days.
They have the most friendly manager I have ever met. She provided excellent service.
I liked the welcoming greeting from staff. I will be using this hotel again
The staff were very friendly and helpful! They went way out of their way to help find answers about the area. The cleanliness was top notch. Comfortable beds, plush pillows and sparkling spreads.
Clean and nice
The tv did not have reception. The phone in the room did not work. There was loud music coming from the room next to us. After complaining about the problems we were accused of being aggressive and asked to leave.
It was a great stay. The hotel was beautiful, the room was very comfortable. The Staff was GREAT, and very nice and friendly. I will definitely stay there again.
It was just ok.
The room could have been a little cleaner but it was nice and quiet
I would like to say overall my stay way 5 stars Guest services was A1 hotel was clean and I got early check in and late check out. 😘
The owner and staff were amazing during our stay. They were extremely friendly and helpful. This was the best experience we’ve had staying in Hazlehurst.
Simple but clean hotel, with very friendly staff
I loved it
Little Piece of Home
It was amazing they were friendly and warm. Inviting and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Room was clean and updated. Staff was absolutely refreshing. Very nice people. Greeted us with smiles and were very helpful and informative.
Nice for the price. Staff was very accommodating.
The location is the only thing good I can say about the hotel.
Nice country hotel
A little outdated, but the friendly staff made may stay worthwhile. Very small selection with breakfast so had to go next door to fill up.
this hotel was nothing to write home about but I just wanted something cheap and very close to my event.
The hotel manager was extremely friendly. I booked for the wrong state and he was extremely friendly and helping out and getting me a room for the night. Let me know what I needed to do
Overall, good experience.
The hotel manager tried to charge me for extra people. I book for 3 adults, he said expedia showed only 2 per room. I began to show him my email confirmation and he declined to look at it and did not charge me any extra. Hotel had a roof leak in the hall way. other than that it was a good stay.
Disgusting and Nasty!!!!!
It was an absolute rat hole! I walked into the room, tried to lock the door, the lock was broken, I then noticed a huge hole in the wall that went completely through to the next room, held together with masking tape. I immediately went back into the office and asked if I could have another room because I didn't feel safe, at that time I was told no, the lock wasn't broke " it was a safety precaution", that I had a peep hole. When I mentioned the hole in the wall that was big enough for someone to put their complete arm through, I was told that I would not be charged for that, because he knew about it. I then went back into the room, got my belongings and left.I then called reservation desk, explained what had happened and got some of my money back. This is a very nasty and sketchy place, you can't get any sleep because of fear, loud music blasting from the next room and the wretched smell from the hallway.
Inexpensive and Comfortable
Check in was easy with a nice lobby and friendly front desk person. Most of the hotel could use a little updating but hard to complain at this price point.
Will not stay again
Very outdated rooms smelled very uncomfortable beds don't think they have been changed ever. Nothing as expected from web page
Not great
Hotel was outdated and not very nice. I would not stay there again
Staff too rude, stay somewhere else
We booked this hotel online while driving through the town. When we arrived a little after midnight, staff was rude about booking online and acted like it was an inconvenience. Staff was very upset to be bothered and rude to the point where we just said forget it and drove across the street to a different motel.
The hotel okay but not great
They need to clean up more cause I found a womans panties under the nite stand
Decent motel for a small town
Decent motel for a small town not much else to say about this place sorry
The staff was courteous, the bathroom was very clean and the room too.
Awful beds, 30 year old TV on the room.
Rude employee, never breakfast made, beds hard as a brick on 45 year old mattresses and the TV in my room was 30 years old.
Don't get there late and check Expedia rates
My flight was extremely late and I did not get to the hotel until 3:30AM. I woke up the clerk and he tried to charge my card twice for the room that had already been paid for. I did find it interesting that the rate on Expedia was $65 but the rate he would have charged me as a walk in was $50.00.
Decent!
There is a need to shampoo the room carpet.
Stay for work
Evrithing great and I plane to stay there for two nights every week
Fair for the money.
Hotel.com is the worst. The hotel was OK but I will never book on this site again.
oldie but a goodie
Very nice stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel room was very clean and neat. Yes it could do with some updates. But it was worth the price.
decent
It's basically what you'd expect for the money. The room was decent but saw some signs of mold in the bathroom. Breakfast was included but pretty minimal. Overall a decent place for the money.
OK place
Owners are pleasant, breakfast is lacking. Room was sufficient.
Avoid
Avoid this hotel if possible.
First Negative Review I've Ever Written
I should have been tipped off when the owner checked me in and incessantly complained to me about the cost of maintaining a hotel, when all I wanted was to go to sleep. The room smelled of body odor and mildew, but it was late and I was tired, so I decided to just go to sleep. The carpet had footprints on it like a worker had tracked through something. Everything was unplugged so the room was hot and sticky. I plugged in the A/C and saw it had mold in it, and once running, smelled badly. The A/C made the curtains blow up so I propped the dirty and stained ironing board against the window over two chairs to keep it closed. When I awoke in the morning a felt sick and I'm convinced that the A/C made me so. The toilet seat was a cheap replacement that didn't quite fit the bowl all around the rim. The writing on the shampoo label had been scratched out with a pen so I assume it had been refilled by the owner. In the morning, I went for breakfast and didn't see anything that looked like a "continental breakfast". The owner's wife came out of her room and asked me what I wanted in a very unfriendly tone. I asked where the breakfast was. She walked over to the coffee urn picked it up as if to show it still had some coffee in it, then did the same for another urn saying aloud coffee... milk. She then pointed across the room to a plastic case with about three or four pastries in wrappers. I looked at her and said no thanks. I could not get out of there fast enough.
ok for price or a one night stay. bed not to comfortable. staff friendly
Nice, clean hotel.
Nice, clean, quiet hotel. No issues or problems. Would stay again.
