The room was very nice: lovely bedding and pillows, and a little sitting area. Pretty shower surround. Coffee in the breakfast area was terrible though.

Plan never to stay again

The room was not clean and apparently the workers were not aware of us being there. They just opened the door (just so happened, I was dressed) and after apologizing, started stripping the bed.

Checked in and almost immediately check right back out. People hanging out in the top floor drinking. Weird people hanging outside. We didn’t feel safe to stay. Very dirty. Will never book again.

Will be back down there and will stay there again. Good value and convenient access to stuff in car. Not a great breakfast but OK.

I stayed at this property on yesterday and upon entry it was very hot in the room. I turned the air to 60 and after waiting for the room to cool for a couple hours, it never did. I called the front desk and was told to call back in 30 mins and it wasn’t cooler she would come reset it. After another few hours the room still never cooled so I called back to the front desk and the lady stated that she didn’t have another room to move me to but she could call maintenance and let them know. Needless to say no one ever showed so I was forced to sleep in a like warm room and still pay in full. I had to sleep on the couch in front of the air conditioner to get some sort of breeze at least. I suffer with asthma so I had to use my inhaler several times because the heat was chocking me.

I could tell the room had been recently painted but carpet dirty, chair for the desk broken and covering tattered.material literally peeling off. Room smelled of mold.

This property was convenient and the room was clean. There was maintenance material stacked near the steps, a little inconvenient to drag suitcases up stairs; an elevator would be a great addition!

The motel itself was very dated and needs updating badly. For the price, I expected much more. Motel 6 would have been a better deal. When we went to breakfast at approximately 8:00am every morning, most of the "hot" items were turned off already. Even though it says it is open until 9:00am. The eggs and sausage were cold along with the biscuit gravy. They ran out of cream cheese for the bagels and never did get any in for 3 days. The ice machine was out of order due to no one coming to fix the broken line. They did provide ice from the office later. The staff was friendly and cordial.

Everything was good.

The women at the desk gave no greeting and answered questions in a monotone. Did not seem interested. When asked about concession area the machines were either empty or contained no product. For example, i purchased potato chips and the bag was empty with a tear on the side?? Basically, do not stay at this place. Very expensive and very poor.

The staff was nice, but the appliances were broke down.

Only complaint I have is the room I had, just didn't get cold enough for me. So I was constantly awakened from the temp and the AC kicking on attempting to cool. If it was a super hot day, I could understand the AC trying to keep up.

Front desk was lady was awesome! The room was neat and clean except the mirror on the door was dirty! The room seems to be really damped! Could have used a dehumidifier in the room! The price was a little high but other than that! We was satisfied!

Room was musky smelling. Long term residents have all sorts of stuff on sidewalks and balconies like cookers and tables and garbage. Did not seem safe.

This hotel was old and smelled like smoke, the bed was not very comfortable. The room was over all not very good. I used my blankets that i had in the car over the sheets and slept for a few hours and then finished my trip. I will definitely not be staying here on our trip home.

Under Construction.

Put us in the far back of the property when there were plenty of rooms at the front. The air unit wasn't functioning. The smoke alarm was hanging by wires. There were construction materials all over. One towel and one washcloth in the room. Disappointing.

The room was very clean and the renovations look great! The large space for such a great price was unbeatable and the breakfast area was superb. I wouldn't staying at these properties everywhere I travel from now on...thanx for a great experience.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool was disgusting. It smelled of urine and vinegar. We checked out and moved to another hotel rather than extending our stay because of this. Even with the renovations going on, the rest of the stay was fine.

This hotel is horrible open sockets with wires hanging out, my door barely closed let alone locked, shower was awful everything about this stay was awful. on top of that I left and they would not give me a refund for the remaining days I was suppose to stay.!

Motel appeared to be under renovation. We had a very nice stay. Only problem was key card did not work for first room assigned but clerk moved us a couple of doors down. Problem solved!

Our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and smelled clean. The street at night doesn't quiet down until after 11/11:30. So heads up to that.

Great roadside lodging on a dark foggy night

We arrived very late at night after a long drive down from Illinois. It was foggy and dark and we were in unfamiliar territory visiting a part of the country we had never been before in our lives. We arrived to a clean / comfortable / friendly location and the room was in good condition also. Modest breakfast and friendly staff topped off the experience in the morning. Generally fun "vibe" about this place that makes it a bit more unique than the average place to stay on the side of the highway. Exactly what we needed on our road trip to New Orleans. Would stay again.

COULD DO BETTER

The smelled like mold. Bathroom door didn't close to lock. AND THE MAIN DOOR WE HAD TO USE A CHAIR TO FEEL SAFE !!!
