The room was for our family of 6. Consisted of two double beds and a double pullout. There wasn't enough room for everyone to walk around. There was some sort of kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and a cupboard full of dishes, but no sink. First night we had no hot water, so everyone had a cold shower. The pullout was so old and uncomfortable that no one could sleep on it. Hotel could really use a modern renovation
The property itself was great, location was convenient to downtown and some great restaurants! If you’re not comfortable walking out with some questionable people probably not the spot for you. We got the pull out couch and 2 beds for 5 of us and made it work, it is a tight space but we weren’t there for the room. There is a police office down a few doors and you hear sirens often, also the club across the street was rowdy on Saturday night. We found breakfast at the attached restaurant expensive but there is a Tim’s around the corner and multiple options on the next couple blocks!
Clean and nice rooms. Lots of accessibility features (braille and raised-numbers on the room numbers, braille in the elevator) making it easy to navigate for visually impaired travellers. Polite and helpful staff who were able to make suggestions and help with booking cabs.
Great location! Perfect size room!
The hotel is very centrally located. All around the the building are homeless and addicts. Lots of garbage and crazy antics around the building.
I’ve stayed at many Quality Inns and this was the best by a mile. Great value for Vancouver. Incredibly clean and modern design. Staff were absolutely lovely. I will stay here if I am ever in Vancouver.
The staff was incredibly helpful and flexible, the unit was perfect for what I needed for a quick work trip. Lots of great restaurants within a few minute walk. I would stay here again.
Location was convenient but the entire street is taken over by homeless drug addicts. There was nothing wrong with the hotel itself or the staff. It was the surrounding area which makes me think I would never book this with my family ever again.
Great economic property
Very affordable, room was nothing special. You get what you pay for. The staff was lovely
I liked that it was right in the downtown core and it was adorable.
Great location. Rooms were smaller than expected but very clean and the staff was fantastic!
Excellent location
Five stars for being the only hotel that I’ve ever stayed in that didn’t leave me and my clothes reeking of laundry products.
I liked the location and the kindness from the workers
Has a horrible smell that overwhelms and permeates you hair and clothes. There’s a night club next door so was up till 3am. Was comfortable though and room was updated and clean.
It was convenient for going to a concert.
We came here for a concert and of course paid a premium price for one night compared to their regular rates. I had tried to do early check in a couple times throughout the day, but they kept telling me my room wasn’t ready. Which was totally fine, I was just inquiring. I even told them I’d pay extra to get in by 3 pm. Check in was 4pm and at 3:45 I asked again if my room was ready, and they told me no, scratched out on a piece of paper my room and reassigned me a new room. If they hadn’t done that, I’m certain my room wouldn’t have been ready for 4 pm. We had friends also staying in the same hotel who didn’t have a room ready by 4 pm, even by 5 when we were leaving for dinner their room STILL wasn’t ready. They had to end up picking their key up at 1:30 am, and the front desk guy had the audacity to make a comment that he was wondering if they were ever gonna pick up their key. There were many people who didn’t have a room at check in time which is completely unacceptable. They made a few comments that they had 80 check-ins, which is fine, but you knew about this well in advance, you charged premium prices so all of your rooms SHOULD be ready by 4 pm. Moda, a couple blocks down the street which was also sold out for the concert was letting people check in at 1 pm. Don’t charge premium prices for a concert if you can’t properly staff the hotel. I insisted that they comp us our parking since we squeezed a bunch of us into our room to get ready, which they did of course.
Central location near shopping and restaurants within walking distance
The staff was friendly and professional. Parking lacks so take that into consideration. Was a good deal nevertheless !
Clean, as expected, great price for what you get. Very convenient for accessing public transportation.
Really close to all the major music venues on Granville. Can be noisy on the weekends as theres a club next door but it didn’t bother me personally. The parking is limited, but all in all it was a good stay. Additionally, extra bedding in the room would be helpful.
La zona nos pareció un poco insegura mucho zombie tirado
Close to everything we wanted to go to !! The staff was super nice and helpful!! I'll definitely be staying again soon !!
Would stay again
Friendly staff
Staff are helpful and the location is really convenient
Perfect value stay
Excellent location. Comfortable lean room and a good nights sleep .
close to every thing I had to do.Great staff, & safer area
Location was wander full.
The hotel is above a nightclub and I could hear the thumping drums and loud bass sound until 4AM. The property did not appear to be dirty but had a funky smell which is still permeating in my belongings hours after checking out. The management shut down by key entry at 11:03AM as they said “we thought you checked out” despite having their polcy that keys should be returned when you check out. I won’t be staying at this place again and it kind of gives the Quality Inn franchise a bad reputation. The location is great (lively Downtown Vancouver) but inside, this place needs improvement.
Great service
Nicely updated, very clean, pleasant staff, my second time staying at this location
Staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly. I arrived early before check in time and just inquired if I could store my luggage somewhere, but the manager on duty gave me an early check in, which was very appreciated. The hotel room was very small but clean, and for the price I paid I can’t complain. The breakfast that was included with my stay was decent. Nice to have a hot breakfast included but the options were very limited. My only complaint is that on Expedia it says there is a gym on site. The gym is in fact on a different street all together, and you need to leave the hotel and walk up the block to get there. Being that the area is full of junkies lying on the sidewalks and asking for money, I did not feel safe enough to walk there early in the morning while it was dark out, so I was unable to use that facility. Unfortunately access to a gym early in the morning was important to me when I booked the room. Not the end of the world, maybe just needs to be clearer on Expedia that the gym is not actually in the hotel. Overall a decent stay, it’s too bad the area is so sketchy.
Good downtown hotel.
I had booked a room for 2 nights — the room was great, the welcome from the 2 ladies at the front desk was great. Overnight there was a change of plans so at 8 am I told the 2 men at the front desk that I was checking out. Was told that I still had to pay for 2 nights. ☹️
Unsafe parking
Front desk agent are very nice, just no fridge and microwave in the room
Property is small, cozy but it is above a nightclub which i did not know when booking. Was very loud at night even on the 3rd floor.
Great staff
Great downtown location, walkable, lrt nearby. Clean rooms, comfy bed, good fresh linens, plenty of plush/firm pillows to choose from. Bathroom is clean, nice amenities, towels fresh and not worn out. Shower pressure lacks oomph, and drain needs cleaning out. Front desk personnel is friendly, courteous. Great deal on room rate.
While the staff was super helpful and kind and the lobby was attractive, the actual rooms are super small. I had to buy Febreeze to just make the smell of my room palatable. When you leave the hotel, you have to dodge drug users who are actively using on the street. Cop sirens blare regularly during the night and if you are "blessed" to have a room on the first floor on the weekend, you'll be lulled to sleep (or kept awake) by the heavy base coming from the night club right underneath the hotel. Would I recommend? Nope. The only plus was Morrissey's, the bar next door that had a great menu and super chill vibe.
The room smells
Despite being in a sketchy area, this hotel manages to be a decent place to stay in Vancouver. Breakfast here are very good as well.
The car was parked outside, and then we had to hand over the keys to the front desk. They took the car to the underground parking for storage. When we picked up the car, we noticed scratches, but they completely refused to show us the underground parking camera footage. Instead, they only allowed us to view the outdoor parking camera and kept insisting that the car was already scratched before arriving at the hotel. They said that if we wanted to see the underground parking footage, we had to file a police report within 24 hours. This is completely unreasonable—why should a police report be required just to check the footage and determine whether their staff caused the damage while taking the car down to the underground parking? Their resolution was totally unsatisfactory and felt like an attempt to shift the blame onto the customer. We will never return.
Very good deal and nice stay, staff are very nice
Hôtel suit were dirty, small, there was an odor in the room. Doesn’t look as the picture. Bed were in an angle. A lot of car noise.
The check in was lovely with Gordon and they let us check out an hour later at no charge. The continental breakfast at Morrisey next door all included in the price for a family of four was great! Then we were 25 minutes walk away to catch our Hullo ferry downtown. We will return for sure!
Did not like the loud noise from the bar below until 2 30 am every night.
Was a great location to stay! Will be back ! Very kind staff!
Room size is very small
Nice
Not the nicest area around the property.
Staff were super friendly and helpful! Would stay there again!
Best location to look around in Vancouver.
The room was very small and the window looks to the other rooms. I have to draw the curtains so the room was very dark. I also have a hard time finding my room as I have to go into 2 emergency exits. The breakfast was very basic. Hot drinks are extra.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Staff were extremely nice, friendly and courteous. Building is old but rooms although small were clean. Good location in terms of being close to everything.
Clean
Friendly people, good breakfast, great free coffee. None of your fault but some of Granville Street was smelly, avoided it. Great stay!
Nice and clean. Just don’t recommend go out at night.
Pictures online did not look the same as the actual hotel
Great location, good rooms & bed. Would stay here again.
excellent
The hotel itself was clean and pretty nice, the room was a lot smaller than expected and what was shown in the photos. The room also lacked basic things like a mini fridge and microwave. Staff was incredibly nice though and very helpful. The area was not great, a lot of sketchy looking people around and was incredibly loud. Partying, yelling, screaming, music etc outside u til 4-5am. I have never stayed somewhere so loud.
Not enough parking
NA
Great stay
Amazing place
It was nice
Downtown area is convenient to everything. Common traffic noise.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location is close to bus routes and lots of great places to eat and drink nearby!
The room itself was nice, clean and comfortable. Their pillows were my absolute favorite!! The breakfast included with the stay was alright, it was the exact same thing everyday so it got a bit blah by day 4 but there is a coffee shop on the corner that has good drinks and goodies opened 24hrs. There are some good restaurants close by and if you like the night life there are so many things to do and see in the area within a 10 min walk but it gets a bit rough at night with the homeless so I wouldn't do it alone. Transportation is easy from here if you want to take the bus or train around. I would stay here again but maybe not on a weekend that I'm staying in because there are 2 bars on the main level and it's very loud until about 2:30am.
I appreciate the breakfast provided and the super kind staff 💕 it was a great stay and those who have left negative reviews about noise are low-key dramatic... It was barely heard on the 3rd floor! Also free entry to the club 💃 for the fun ones 😎
Worst and Dirty Hotel
Was not as advertise
Clean, convenient loc, very accomodating staff.
$4 train from the airport and a 400m walk.
The bar noise could be hear in the room as well as homeless in the alley.
Good place on a budget just there is a night club next door so could be bit loud
Great location
Conveniently located
Good
Great little hotel in convenient location with a boutique vibe but security of a reliable chain.
After a long drive we just wanted to rest. We get into our room to settle down and there was a huge blood stain on the comforter. After removing the sheets there was blood stains all over. We had them replace them and headed to have dinner. As we were leaving I went to check the door and it did not lock. Security came up to check it and confirmed the door did not lock unless you were inside the room. We had to take all of our belongings downstairs into a closet so we can go have dinner while maintenance fixed it. Which was a huge inconvenience. Parking was also an issue and ultimately if you’re charging for parking then you should have a better system in place. We were not pleased with our visit and we will not be coming back.
Great properly
Lovely place to stay to get to know Vancouver. The staff are amazing and the breakfast is wonderful.
My first room was a bit noisy on the weekend but my second room was a lot better. The location was just right for my first time in Vancouver. It was very central and allowed me to see the bigger picture. I would stay there again because the staff were very pleasant and approachable. My overall stay for 2 weeks was pleasant.
Good
Good deal for the price.
Friendly stay in the heart of the city
Located in the downtown core within a 10 minute walk of the Canada Line subway. The hotel is clean with a coffee machine in the lobby for all to use
Hotel was in a great location for my trip. The street is less desirable but didn't adventure out at night. The carpet on the 5th floor and the beds needs to be updated otherwise the staff and our stay was great.
Staff were pleasant. Enjoyed their partnership with other local businesses and getting good deals.
Kumud the duty manager was so kind and helpful she made my stay from ordinary to extraordinary
The hotel is disgusting. Dirty. The breakfast is a joke and served in a dirty bar. The coffee maker in the loddy looked like it wash cleaned in weeks. The hotel and rooms had a powerful chemical smell that made us light headed and feel sick. The building is falling apart. Do not stay!!!!!!!
Staff is excellent! Clean hotel and affordable price. Breakfast was buffet and good food. Only drawback is the price of parking.
The room was quiet, relaxing, clean
The only issue I had at the hotel was the cleanliness of the room, the first night we checked in and we went under the cover it smelled like pee, we reported to the front desk, and they said they were going to service the room the next day we reported that the bed smells badly of urine, then the supervisor told me if my daughter pees on the bed, which it was 2 bed I slept on the bed with my daughter and the other bed was used for my mom, the bed that my mom slept on was the one smell like pee when I get back to the room on the last night, we had to wait for 2 in the lobby while they clean the room after 4 pm. I asked the supervisor why you told me that my daughter pees on the bed and he started telling me not to accuse him of that because he didn't say that and clearly, he told me that in front of other people that was witnessed, why would I lie about something that I pay for to be cleaned.
Homelessness population is very high around the hotel at night
Was extremely noisy. The people above us were very loud all night long for the 2 nights we stayed. After spending 10 hours a day at the hospital we were exhausted and just wanted a good nights rest, which did not happen. We only needed the room for 2 nights instead of 3 and are having a heck of time being refunded for the 3rd night despite buying cancellation insurance.
We enjoyed our stay.
Clean , great location . Water pressure for shower was a low but otherwise great place
