I had been very jet lagged before arriving here but got a great night’s sleep and finally cut the fog.

Hotel itself, rooms and staff excellent. Parking is however very limited, and currently more challenged by construction/renovation works.

Location is perfect 10 minute walk to central area with restaurants bars and many tours. The view from our room was beautiful!

10/10! From start to finish, our experience at QT Queenstown was absolutely amazing. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The property was clean, and the food was some of the best we had during our trip —truly a delight. Our room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. We had such a great time and will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town! Highly recommend!

Everything about my stay at the QT was perfect. The view from my remarkable king room was incredible and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. For example, the staff dropped off dessert at my door every night of my stay, which was such a nice touch.

Great experience - highly recommend! The property was lovely - the rooms were clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. It was ~10 to 15min walk away from all the shops and restaurants so was quiet for sleeping and very convenient.

Welcoming comfort with stunning views

The hotel and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were chatting with the receptionist while we were checking in and mentioned it was our 10th year wedding anniversary and she then started giving us some freebies. We came back the next day from being out and about and was welcomed with a lovely note from the hotel with a free proseco and lovely drinks … this was apart from the free stuff the receptionist has mentioned. The hotel itself was nice, clean and modern with the most spectacular view. It is only a few minutes walk to the city centre too which is very convenient. We would definitely be back!

Had amazing stay at QT Queenstown. Rooms was so comfortable clean and view was beautiful. Staff there was so lovely and very attentive to there guest. I highly recommend to stay there as I will be going on my next visit

Like all QT hotels, this is a superb property: full of art with a super modern decor. Classy AND fun. Super shower, plus huge bathtub. Balcony, super TV with easy casting system for your phone. Fully featured room, even had a nespresso machine for endless coffee. Oh: also had cocktail making facilities & a great view over the lake. Nice quiet location, very short walk away from the bustle of Queenstown, but a world away from the noise. Twinned with Rydges, with many shared facilities.

Great place for a long weekend in Queenstown

Room was really comfortable and spacious with views of the lake. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Some of the decor in the room a little worn and shower head quite poor in terms of strengh.

Great value on Expedia for a single night’s stay for two. QT noted we might like two beds, as mother and daughter, on check in and offered to open out the sofa bed which was great but seeing as it’s a superking bed, probably unnecessary as it take up a lot of space. Fabulously large bathroom with walk-in shower, double basin and free standing bath. Spotlessly clean and well maintained in QTs quirky style. Free movies. Awkward to check in if you have a car as the entrance doesn’t have a drive thru. Parking used to be free but now steep at $35/day in the conveniently located carpark. I would have parked on the street if informed there was availability down on the lake front street (there’s a shortcut thru to Rydges Hotel that takes you there when walking to the cbd). The streets immediately around the main entrance are also available but fully occupied when we arrived. A ten minute walk to the cbd.

Good location and a 5 min walk to Queenstown town centre. Staff were friendly and great. Property is looking tired and in need of a good clean/maintenance. Chips out of tables, stain on sofa arm and shower grout black in places. Floors needing a clean. I understand staffing has been a problem in Queenstown.

Friendly staff. Beautiful room. Loved coming back of an evening and enjoying a long hot bath. $2 oyster deal was very well accepted, delicious. Definately returning.

Perfect stay

Excellent hotel and of course service was as usual, outstanding. We spent 3 nights here, rooms were modern and cosy with the perfect view! Staff were more than accommodating and helpful to any of our requests. Thank you for having us, we will be back.

Modern hotel with great views

Very nice and modern hotel , great location walking to town , beautiful views of the lake , breakfast was not wow but good for 39$ they can also make halal options if you let them know one day in advance. We got upgraded to full view lake which was nice! Price of the room was really expensive though!

We loved the size of the room and the bath. Unfortunately our room wasn’t serviced on one of the days and we had to ask for tissues and toilet paper as they weren’t replaced when the room was serviced. Otherwise, staff were very helpful and loved the bar and breakfast.

No upgrades. No in house spa. Amenity requests were sometimes ignored. Got a skin reaction from the bedsheets - not good. I travel a lot and that has never happened before. Chrome cast didn’t work on the TV.

Beautiful hotel in Queenstown

Stayed at QT for 2 nights (but booked the trips separately, so we weren't able to stay in the same room as the hotel was booked out). We had a really comfortable stay; amenities were excellent, and a really quick walk into town (although you have to be prepared to walk up the hill to the hotel). Staff were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent , great attention to detail, perfect stay

The only I could ask for is for there to be a fitness center on sight. However this location is amazing. Great customer service and the facility is clean, comfortable, and convenient.

Epitomised Calmness

Spectacular view from room. Exemplary service across the service areas from reception to food. Comfortable king size bed, spacious living / sleeping area and bathroom. Coffee machine and pods, good selection of teas. Couch for relaxing on. Quick and friendly check-in. We were meant to receive a bottle of wine as a gold member but we did receive two small drink vouchers. We liked the efforts made to improve eco-friendly practices and it is not forced upon you but you are rewarded for assisting their practices. Very helpful at reception and contacted our next accommodation to arrange collection and they provided a vehicle to drive us to the shuttle. Highly recommend. Will come back again. Substantial buffet breakfast and again that stunning view.

Beautiful view, overpriced

Beautiful view, nice room. Services were minimal considering cost of room. Did not include any valet or help with luggage. Laundry only available through do it yourself. Configuration of hotel logistics were somewhat cumbersome. Very over priced.

The hotel is not very central, and the parking was very terrible given that it was $50 per night. Overall don’t recommend this hotel for the price.

Great views and location

Truly perfect day for Queenstown. Right across the street from the lake, amazing views, and the hotels were the perfect combination of cozy and modern. We spent every day walking back-and-forth from Queenstown activities and the hotel.

Very clean hotel with a lovely view. Amazing nice staff! Must walk uphill to return from town. Not ideal for older people or those that aren’t up to a small steep walk. Not ideal if you are pushing luggage uphill. Restaurant is terrible and overpriced.

Great location close walking distance to the Queenstown Warf (where all the action is). Great stay, beautiful view, pleasant staff, and got a great in-room couples massage. We fell in love with Queenstown during our stay at the QT Queenstown!

Loved the stay and staff were fantastic - especially reception staff. Covering the rooftop with synthetic grass would add to the view.

Dungeon room

The room on the 8th floor was like a dungeon. Checking into the room took more than an hour since the room was not ready. Hotel was clean and location is good. But if you are going to stay here get a room facing the lake.

Fairly dated and average property, extremely noisy in the lake view rooms as they are above a busy function center

The hotel clerks were amazing. I received amazing assistance in particular from Edita who scheduled a car/driver service for me due to a medical emergency and gave me very personalized and kind attention. I could not have asked for better.

Great place to stay nice room great views

Be aware that non lake view does not mean mountain view, it means road view, you are looking directly at a concrete retaining wall. It’s very loud on that side. Cars and people talking as they walk past from 5am onwards.

Beautiful view but they gave me a handicap room so I’m not sure if all the bathrooms had very little counter space or just some. The toilets ring could have been cleaner, it had a bad odor but it could have been the cryptosporidium bug in the water that Queenstown was dealing with.

Best Ever in Queenstown

This QT Hotel was fantastic from the start to finish 6 days. Anthony the manager and the desk staff especially Nicole who helped with the reservations were all exceptional. I am a Hilton Diamond and after 7 days in Melbourne at the Hilton by the 150 year old train station & Yara River and 7 days in Sydney, at the 5 Star Hilton, and not being able to get into either Hilton In Queenstown, landed on the QT Queenstown but was a challenge to get the 6 days and the Remarkable King on the top floor. We are in the SFO area by Stanford University and we can’t wait to go back. One caution, the Milford Sound trip is a must but 10 hours with the 12 passenger van 3 hrs each way fast and windy, then 2 hrs on the boat - worth it but best to fly into to Milford.

The spot to be in Queenstown

QT did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, staff were friendly and helpful advising of room inclusions. Views from the Lakeview rooms were spectacular. The room was quiet and spacious given its a hotel room but had a double opening door soo you could let fresh breeze in or stand on the small balcony and admire the view. Bathroom was amazing with a soaking tub big enough for 2. The turn down service each night was the best with a new little surprise each night of our stay. We also got room service for brekkie and dinner. Dinner was the better of the 2, but the buffet brekkie downstairs was delightful with lots of options and great views. Parking was a bit tight but if your careful you’ll manage. There is a short walk down to the main hub of the city but worth it for the nice amenities you get in your room and hotel. There was alot of roadwork in the streets behind the hotel making it tricky to navigate but otherwise easy to find.

Gorgeous Hotel

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and rooms! Beautiful free standing bathtubs with bath salts and rubber ducky provided. Stunning modern design, high quality bedding, and plush robes all found in room. Hotel itself situated on top of a hill with stunning views of the Remarkables from the bar, restaurant, and certain guest rooms. Few minute walk to city center. Highly recommended!!!!

We have left in complete satisfaction with the hotel and the staff members. We are very thankful for the VIP treatment and upgrades.

Exceptional Stay at QT Christchurch

I recently stayed at QT Christchurch, and it surpassed all my expectations. The hotel's location, staff, and amenities were outstanding. As a frequent guest of QT hotels, I can confidently say that this one lives up to the high standards we expect. The location of QT Christchurch is perfect. It's within walking distance of the waterfront and town center, making it convenient for exploring the city and its attractions. The proximity to the water adds a serene touch to the experience. The staff at QT Christchurch were exceptional. They provided a warm welcome and were attentive and friendly throughout my stay.

A GEM!!

LOVE this hotel! It's in an amazing location. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are big, the bathroom is amazing, and the staff is so personable and extremely helpful. We had a 'partial' view which was pretty great, actually!

DO NOT BOOK. An absolute nightmare and scam. I was offered the obstructed view room type (partial lake view, cheaper room type) when I booked the full lake view room (more expensive). Was told by the property that this is the only room left available. My room looks exactly like the partial lake view room as advertised on Expedia (with the building right in front of my balcony). It was impossible to take one photo from the room without that building in view. Complained to Expedia and provided them with actual photos I have taken from the room I was offered, Expedia said the property insisted I was offered a full lake view room, mentioned I was in fact "upgraded" to a better room with a better "full lake view". What a joke! I wish I could attach photos here for you to see it for yourself.

The property is excellent, well laid out rooms, beautifully equipped and so clean & modern. The location is an easy walk to town but as it is built into a hill there is only a decent view from one side of the property. We didn’t mind this but others who would appreciate a view, ask to be on the lake side.

Great stay!!

Hotel dining is a real let down. Restaurant with breakfast is only open for a very limited window. There is no restaurant open for lunch. Dinner restaurant is not really a restaurant it is a table in a noisy bar. Room service options are also super limited. On a map, property looks close to city center but in reality that is not the case when walking in the cold/rain - which is most of the time in this location. Hotel holds itself out to be luxury but is attached and part of a budget hotel and that is not ideal. Cleaning is also average. For example, there was hair from prior guests around our bath. Staff were not rude, but also were not helpful. For example, no assistance was offered with taking bags to the room as is custom in luxury hotels.

Overly priced for the facilities it offers. The design of the shower base is a complete failure. Won't stay there next time.

Our experience at QT was really stellar: the staff was unbelievable (every single one!) attentive, very customer-focused, friendly in every area we interacted with them. The location - both in terms of the beauty and the walkability to restaurants and activities - is unbeatable. The room was absolutely awesome and that balcony really made it. We are huge fans of the QT and will be back!

The staff and amenities couldn’t have been nicer. The room was spacious, clean and bright. It’s location across from the beach, with city center a short stroll away, was perfect.

lovely hotel, great location, the added benefit of a dyson hairdryer with diffuser is amazing, thank you for being curly hair inclusive! lack of free water in the room was upsetting but a free bottle of wine....go figure. Got stuck in the elevator, pressed emergency call button no one came, eventually we got it going i told the receptionist, i was quite shaky what happened she said yes they know and are working on it, i wasnt happy, they could of out a sign on the elevator door or at least asked if i was ok, but nope!

Very convenient property. Great views. the staff was very helpful. Does not have it sown restaurant - shares with their sister hotel. Difficult to call it a 5 Star property when you are sharing with your sister property.
