The “premium studio“ was half the size of all the hotel rooms we have stayed in throughout New Zealand. It was more like a college dormitory room. Undecorated, bare walls, tiny. The floor to ceiling blinds did not keep light out and the “garden view“ was a view of the steps up to the room. The walls were thin; we heard our neighbor’s every move. Heater didn’t work. No human contact with staff. No paperwork in room explaining where things were and how to use them.

Good because of the spectacular view

Hands down the best location for the views to stay that l looked into- just spectacular- balcony is a must at sunset. Bedroom carpet freying & worn, toilet paper & tissues were appalling, massive chip off the basin in bathroom. High star shouldn't provide that type of amenities. We paid a lot aus for 6 nights - you're making money - fix the room to the standards it should be to what is charged. TV at night was garbage, its nice just watch something at night whilst winding down, lots of channels said no connection. Queenstown airport had better products. Appartment was acceptable because of the spectacular view given that & it was a 15 minute walk into town

Beautiful views. 20 min walk to town

Photos in the ad show great views. They say every property has a view, but ours did not. It was also very small and did not have hand soap. The staff was friendly though and did allow us to leave baggage with them in town on our last day.

The property was nice in a good location not far from town center however the studio was smaller than we thought it would be. The single room was just large enough for a king bed, a couple of end tables and 1 chair. There was also a closet and very small kitchenette. The bathroom was a good size and fairly luxurious though. Although small, we made do and it was convenient for us.

We enjoyed our stay here it was well presented and everything was at hand.

Would not book again. Not clean. Plates were dirty and 4 items were chipped. Tea and coffee provided but no sugar and no milk. Toilet roll was empty so had to do that too. Under bed was drink caps and other assorted rubbish . Found this when I dropped my earring and was looking. The aircon was absolutely noisy and had to switch off and use the extra blanket which was chucked in top cupboard in a ball. Very expensive for a shoe box studio with a hard bed. So pleased to find these apartments, we chose the cheaper non lake facing studio room due to high cost of QT accom , we had 2 nights and absolutely perfect as we were out all day , so no need for amazing view . Absolutely LOVED the washing machine & drier and the safe parking almost outside our door , the location near town was excellent too . HIGHLY recommend.

The property was easy to access and it was nice to have a washer and drier in the unit (shared by both units). We found it was clean but small compared to what the pictures lead you to believe. The bed was firmer which to us was not comfortable. The place is walkable to downtown to access shopping and restaurants.

The apartment has everything you need for a great stay,the main bedroom can hear guests in the studio apartment next door but overall a very comfortable stay.

It’s not a studio apartment. It’s a small room with some cooking facilities in a small area. There are no signs outside with the name or street number of the property. Could not have found it without the help of a woman from another hotel. I was not sent the check in information. The same woman found this out for me. The room was clean except for the blinds that were thick with dust. Not good value for money.

Good walkable distance from Queenstown. Good view. Easy parking. A couple of things need fixing. Fridge door, gas fire takes a few goes to light. But on the whole nice cosy appartement.

Thought we were getting an apartment and we ended up with a single room. Booking information apeared misleading.

The property was very tidy and clean. Good parking and location. It was tiny with a handy kitchenette. A little annoyingly though, there were great things like coffee and a sewing kit provided… but no milk or soap! We also didn’t realise that the unit was not serviced.

I would never stay here again. Total false advertising about the room. It was tiny with no kitchen. The heat pump didn't work properly, we had to use the stand alone heater constantly. Some power points also didn't work. The shower over the 'bath' (which wasn't a bath and didn't have the plug for it) sprayed everywhere. The TV was so small and so far up the wall it was unusable.

Amazing service and property

We were very pleased with the accomodation provided. The location was stunning, the unit well appointed and clean. An easy walk into town and the lake. Highly recommended

It was good but noisy.

We chose this accomodation because it was relatively cheaper than others for Lake view but there is a trick! We got a ground floor which meant that the Lake view was hardly seen. The mountain view was amazing though. The traffic sound was so bad during the day so not quite a good fit for us where we just wanted to relax and spend some time inside. The heating system was amazing, the bed was comfy, the place was clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

We stayed in 3 different locations while on our trip in queesntown. This was definitely our favourite! Plenty of space, a great view from the lounge and bedroom! Place was tidy and the kitchen was a huge plus aswell. Everything was tidy, would defintely come back here again.

Recommend this place to everyone specially for couple to relax on the holidays

Fantastic location, great views and

Good property . Awesome location close to all the amenities. Mostly all the necessities provided . Just freezer wasn't working properly resulting in some defrosted baby food.

My partner and I stayed here for a week in mid-September and it was the perfect base for our getaway. Close enough to walk down into town, and also had a park for our car for the further afield adventures. The heat pump and gas fire were great during the evenings, and the kitchen was well equipped (although we barely cooked!) Overall a wonderful place to stay in Queenstown; we’ll be back!

Lovely place with a great location. View was beautiful! We had a gas fireplace and a heat pump to keep us warm which was great for the cold. Great communication and clear directions on where to get the key from (lockbox). Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Amazing views!

Fantastic spot to stay in Queenstown with million dollar views. Apartment was very comfy, well appointed and THE best bed I have ever slept in! Charlotte from Queenstown Stays was friendly and helpful. Would totally stay again and would thoroughly recommend QS Jade!!

Property was in a great location and handy to town. Very comfortable with everything that is needed day to day. Great parking under ground. Staff/Letting managers were helpful and lovely to deal with.

Great views, great apartment

Although we never saw the owner, the email communications were fine and clear. The apartment (no. 203A)—location, view, cleanliness, supplies and furnishings—were all excellent. Traffic was a little loud to really enjoy the balcony, but enjoyed our 4 night stay and would recommend.

This was a very clean unit with a great view. We would gladly stay again.

The perfect stay

Beautiful apartment, comfortable, clean and spacious. Perfect for a romantic getaway. The views couldn't be better and the location was very convenient. We'll definitely book here again.

We enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains and lake front from the balcony and the stacker doors really enhanced the outdoor flow. A tad noisy but for those views you can put up with the traffic noise. Extremely comfortable bed. All you really need. Though being sports fans we did miss SKY. But the views made up for that. Will be back.

The view is amazing. But the kitchen area is not very clean and there's a smell coming out from the piping of the sink. If you don't open the window, then inside is quite hot, but if you open the window, flies and bugs will come into the room.

A mess

A beautiful property with pathetic services. We reported soon on entering that the kitchen sink was not draining. Next morning we tried using the toaster. At no1 setting, the bread got burnt out black and triggered the smoke alarm. Quality of kitchen towels, cutlery were below par. We stayed for 4 nights. The sink was never attended. When asked on the 3rd day, we got a text that it is in the "to do list of the Plumber"! Definitely not a value for the money that too when the charges were so high. I would safely avoid using this again. Very disappointed

An amazing holiday stay. Beautiful view that you’ll never forget.

Loved the styling from the photos online and the property didn't disappoint. We stayed on a lower level and the bedroom is to the rear of the property, so between that and thick glazing the road noise is minimal. Given that it is on a very busy stretch into Queenstown, this is quite impressive. It's possible to walk into town but we had a car (4min drive once you get a break in the traffic). It's quite tight for parking, if you had a large car it would be tricky. Great storage inside the rooms and the kitchen had everything you'd need to cook. Access was simple, wifi good. Bathroom was well laid out. Heated towel rail helped in drying towels faster given the weather. Great value for money.

Excellent location, but it is best if you have a car for faster mobility to Queenstown’s center. The view is espectacular, very comfortable. It may be noisy due to traffic passing in front on the highway.

Great Apartment

The view at this property is absolutely unbeatable. Being able to pick the exact room we wanted through Expedia was amazing. The room we walked in to looked exactly like the pictures we looked at online. Check-in and check-out was extremely easy as well via the lockbox. Even though we did not check-in through a reception desk, there was one available had we needed it. The guest information book covered every aspect you think of for the area. The bed was extremely comfortable with plenty of closet space for a long stay. We spent a ton of time in front of the fire place after a cold day outside!

Short Stay in Queenstown

We had a technical issue with the fridge, which was probably due to the staff, but it was quickly rectified by the management team. There are some “rules” of the house that are not something one has to deal with at a hotel but they aren’t prohibitive per se. Anyway, the condo is in superb condition. Everything one needs in regards to a full kitchen which we did not use during our short stay. Some prior guests complain about being on the main road. I don’t think it detracted from our stay. The view is awesome. Any further out of town and the walk might be a little too much but I found it to be a nice walk to and from town. If not, green cabs and Uber rides are readily accessible. Would definitely stay here again when we go back.

QS Jade is an apartment owned and operated by a rental complex down the street. Therein lies the very first problem as they do not communicate well about how to check in, etc. Other locations I’ve stayed where the check in was somewhere different from the location sent emails, calls, and smoke signals to go over the check in procedure. If I didn’t have a working internet on my phone I would have never found the little blip on Expedia telling me where to go. But we did eventually find it and we were off to the apartment. The apartment has a gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The walk to downtown Queenstown is very convenient. The apartment itself is very bare bones. It does claim to have a full kitchen and, while it has several dishes there is barely a working salt shaker let alone any oil or spices to cook with. Another feature we found bothersome was the few towels they provide you with- literally two bath towels, two face towels, a kitchen hand towel and a kitchen rag. There is a washer and dryer, but who wants to do laundry all vacation? A feature of this apartment being owned by a resort- there is no room service at all unless requested, and they’ll do it for a fee of $40 or so. Finally there is the bed. We were promised a king sized bed and instead got two twin mattresses pushed together. I believe this technically fits the bill size wise, but falling into a crack between two mattresses every night is ridiculous. Not comfortable.

Location great traffic noise an issue. Over priced for the service you receive which was minimal.
