Ok for a few nights.

Nice room; modern and clean. Room was spacious with kettle, tv, bottled water and usb sockets. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice, not a huge choice but enough to get the day started! Coffee machine available 24/7 in reception. Unfortunately roof top hot tub was not functional, and indoor pool looked grubby so didn't use. I was not overwhelmed with the friendliness of staff.

THe SouRoom Soundproofing could be better.The Swimming Pools is more like a Paddle Pool.That said its neat & tidy Business type Hotel with Great Staff & a good Central Location in Miraflores..

In a nice area which is relatively quiet. Check in was a breeze. It’s also nice to have a hot water kettle since you can’t drink tap water safely in Peru. Room was nice but there seemed to be a bit of maintenance needed from the hotel. There was no hot water from the shower but the mattress was pretty comfortable. Nice selection of tea offered by the hotel in the room as well. Concierge staff were really nice and flexible

QP was a very good stay. Walking distance to most everything,room was a bit tight but manageable, very clean, modern, very accommodating with our needs for the room, good breakfast, mini bar for any extra's you want. Definitely would come back!

I didn't like how the restrooms had paper towels to use to take a shower..Food sucked also.

I have been to Peru 4 times & have stayed at many other hotels including both Best Western's in Miraflores. This hotel is superior & the best in everyway possible. The staff is friendly & goes out of their way to make your stay as pleasant, comfortable & nice as possible. The rooms are decent sized & have a mini fridge, kettle with larger coffee mugs & TV's mounted on the walls directly in line with the bed so you don't have to twist your head while watching TV in bed. The TV's also have a feature which allow English speaking customers to switch the language from Spanish to English on several channels so you can watch many programs or movies in a language you understand. The breakfast buffet was excellent & there was always a wide selection of everything anyone could possibly want for breakfast. They were happy to make my ham & cheese omelets every morning during my 9 day stay at this excellent hotel. The also have a hot tub on the top floor with great views & there's a gym on the 10th floor as well. The room service was excellent with good prices & great food. A grocery store is 2 blocks away with a good money exchange directly across from it, the Huanca ruins are not far & there's many restaurants as well as Kennedy Park near this fine hotel. The $19 taxi special back to the Lima airport was nice & I'll be staying here whenever I visit Lima/Miraflores from now on. My only complaint is that this hotel is not available here in the USA!

Great value and location

Great value in a great location, the staff were extremely friendly in particular the manager and the reception staff who often took an interest in our day. For the difference in price the suite is worthwhile, large with all required amenities. The sauna and gym were small but good and the jacuzzi on the roof which you can reserve for use was a great way to relax.

Good customer service

I find that everyone was Very polite, respectful, helpful and customer service focus. All my needs were addressed promptly and effectively and with a smile, would definitely stay there another time and recommend this place to friends and family.

The hotel was in an accessible location. Hotel comes with two free pisco sours. Very accommodating receptionists, Daniela checked us in and out. The morning hotel manager was very nice and made sure we had a pleasant experience and good breakfast. Clean room, warm but not hot water, good shower pressure.

Small, dark, very cold, Noisy, dirty windows, very uncomfortable, 24 inches desk ( 60 cm desk) that you could place a laptop and your phone and no more space. Couldn’t even move the chair. If you are on a business trip this is NOT the place to go. If you are in a vacation., forget it. Staff was nice trying to help. No manager in the property. Staff is not authorized to make any decision. Even for a room change, a call had to a manager outside. Breakfast are is very small, had to have breakfast in the corridor. Frustrating! I won’t be able to use this hotel again.

Vey nice Hotel in Miraflores, QP

This is a nice hotel. I have been there twice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room I booked is very spacious and clean. Internet speed is good with minor bumps. Breakfast is average. The hotel is located in a safe environment with access to restaurants, public transportaion and near the beach.

Staff was very helpful. Restaurant was ok. Bartender did not know how to mix a simple gin and tonic. They didn’t have tonic. The room service guy ate in my room while cleaning it and stained my sheets with his food. Quickly corrected once I discovered it.

Clean, comfortable, staff was nice, good location. Breakfast was fabulous. The only negative thing was that we left a bag there (in our room) and emailed them twice to see if they had found it with no response. We went back in to speak to someone who said they didn’t find it but they would check again and email us back. We still haven’t heard back.

In my opinion, my hotel stay was almost perfect. For the money ($65.00) it was a very good deal. The food was above average and the room was modern with all the trimmings and hot water with a giant shower with four shower heads. The workout room included massage chairs, sauna, jacuzzi and workout equipment. It also has a ground level swimming pool. The only negatives was the five minute wait time for service at the pool and a very slight smell of mold in the room. All other service was top notch.

Disapointment

This hotel used to be a nice place to stay but now it seems that the owners/managers have lost interest in the operations. The staff just seems to not care as well? My floor had a strong smell of silicone and during my stay, workers were drilling and banging non stop (noise) tub had hair in it? Front desk didn't honor my drink coupon and actually told me that the can of beer that I purchased for $2 usd was supposed to be from the bar not the gift shop therefore I owed another dollar? (Trivial) When I went to pay for my room, the person who ran the credit card machine was at lunch and I was asked to return later. At night, I asked for a drink from the bar but there was nobody around to ask? When I did find someone, they couldn't find the key to unlock the alcohol and suggested I walk to the local supermarket and buy my own bottle which would be cheaper anyway? Make sure to ask for 2 room keys because every time you leave your room the power cuts and your TV satellite has to reboot which takes awhile. Internet didn't work at first and had to ask for someone to come to the room and do something with my laptop. Hppened on another visit so this is a recurring issue that has not been addressed. I will not reccommend this hotel. It's worth about half the price.

Good location

The bathroom was superduty and it is not renovated. There is a lot of humidity on the room and a little bit of space available

The room was clean and the queen size bed was comfortable. There were 4 pillows offered by the hotel. Water for taking shower was hot but the water pressure was weak. Friendly staff helped me to book a tour to Isla Palomino. I saw thousands of birds and sea lions. The staff was willing to answer questions. Breakfast was simple but good enough, a chef cooked me a omelette with cheese, mushroom, ham and onion. The hotel is closed to the sea. It take about 10 minutes to Parque del Amor and 20 minutes to Larcomar. There is a bank (2 minutes) and a big supermarket (5 minutes) near the hotel.

My first trip to Peru!!!

It was great experience by staying in this hotel, aside of the claustrophobic elevator, and some noise from the street, everything else was good. The staff was very polite, and helpful.

Not suitable for business travelers

Room designated was occupied, took more than 1.5 hours to resolve it. Uncomfortable matress. Small desk. At time of check Out it took about 25 minutes, there were charges on the bill that were never incurred (at least by me). Front desk personnel had to always phone someone else in search for answers in terms of how to proceed.

Nice hotel but not worth the recommendation

I stayed here for two nights. I did not have a bad time. I believe is a fair price for what you get... but still is not a hotel you feel related to. I you could spend couple more dollars go to El Pardo Double Tree near by.

Great deal, near everything , very nice

This was a great place for work. My room had a kitchenette to do some mircowave cooking and food prep on a real countertop. Bigger fridge mean I could store beer and lunch food in there. (Not the college dorm fridge). The western style grocery store called Vivianda is around the corner. 24 hour store in case you run out of anything or need a late night snack or beverage. While in the middle of the nice part of lima it is a little off to the side street so traffic noise is much less than other places I have stayed. My room had a work area and a loveseat and desk separate from the bed room which was great for doing work. The loveseat is not an option for overnight guest over 4 ft.but they have roll aways. Free breakfast is pretty nice but standard; eggs , bread, cheese, ham, cereals coffee. This summer they are having happy hour specials also at their little bar with 2 free beers per room before 7 at the bar. Paying in advance made my room about 80 a night when it is worth about double.

Nice hotel, friendly, helpful staff but awful pool

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel after finishing with a tour group. We wanted a nice hotel with a pool to relax by. The hotel was really nice, the floor in the bathroom had what appeared to be some bits of flowers on it but was cleaned up on the second day. The staff were really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us. Not many of them spoke much English but we didn't mind as we managed to get our needs met. Only main criticism was the pool, we specifically booked a hotel with a pool as we wanted to relax. However when we arrived the pool appeared to be under repair and hadn't been cleaned for quite a long time with mildew/algae at the bottom of the pool. We we're not specifically told it was closed but we didn't want to use it. Otherwise lovely hotel close to the beach and the main park. Oh and two free beers during happy hour!

My experience was pretty great with qp and its staff. I arrived at 3am to the hotel without prior warning, yet the hotel staff was pretty swift in accomodating me. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and understanding. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. The hotel is at walking distance from the main things in Miraflores as well as the beach. The restaurant is good, but a little bit pricey. Again, the staff is really helpful specially the front desk, they will go above and beyond to help you with any inquiries you may have. Again, great hotel, great room, exellent staff.

Nice hotel , corner very busy a lot of traffic, but overall location good. Breakfast buffet, small cafeteria, bad service, slow service, in buffet area. small swimming pool, need to go via cafeteria .

Excellent service, good location

I really enjoyed my stay at QP Hotel Lima and would stay there again. Positives: The hotel staff were superb, always helpful with details from restaurant suggestions to transportation to phone call assistance in Spanish. The bed was clean and comfy. Location is good; walking distance to most attractions in Miraflores. I walked to Kennedy Park several times, Inca Markets, Huaca Pucllana, and Larcomar. Complimentary beer each evening is a nice touch, as is the welcome drink and complimentary breakfast. Negatives: part of the reason why I chose to stay at this hotel was the advertised pool and fitness center. I found the pool to be too small for exercise, and the fitness center was not very functional (treadmill belt was worn and caught on each revolution, bicycle had an odd shape; I didn't try the weight machine). I found the desk in my room to be too small to spread out my work and the chair was low enough that I had to reach for my computer when working at the desk (I ended up working on the kitchen table/bar stool combo more often than the desk). Also, the lobby doesn't have very good access to plug-ins, nor functional workspace, if one chooses to work down there. Summary: if a gym/pool/workspace are important to you, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a clean, comfy hotel near many attractions in Miraflores, and at a competitive price, this is your place. The staff really do a great job.

Issues with Hotel

We stayed in this hotel from 22 - 24 May, and had a queen room. First night the lock on the door did not open, we had to ask three times for new sets of keys. We went to use a beer in the fridge and it had already been opened. The shower/bath felt slippery. Second day we had no towels, no glasses, dustbins not emptied and dirty glass and an empty bottle left beside the bed, the cleaner had been in as the bed was made. The water did not go down in the shower/bath, which we think why the bath was slippery the previous day. We asked to discuss the issues with the Manager but did not hear back. Last day we asked for the Manager again, Ms Polet arrived, we explained the problems, and mentioned that we would be explaining to Expedia the issues we had. We did not use any other facilities.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had - RUDE!!!!!!

We arrived at 10pm to check in. This should have taken no more than 5 minutes, but the clerk kept answering the phone and talking to other folks who came to the desk as we stood waiting. 15 minutes later, he finally finished and told us to wait a couple minutes for the bellhop to take us to our room. As we waited, two gentlemen came in, were checked in, and were taken to their rooms - they wore business suits. We still waited. After another 15 minutes, I demanded our key and told the clerk I didn't want assistance. We went to our room and were a bit taken back by the smallness. The hotel was advertising suites at less than I had paid through Expedia for a standard, but I received the standard. At that point I really didn't care, just wanted to rest. We went into the bathroom and almost choked on the smell of cigarette smoke. I checked my reservation to make sure I had requested a non-smoking room, and then called the front desk again to ask for a different room. Their response was to send up the bellhop with a can of air-freshener. He actually coughed as he sprayed the bathroom. Freaking amazing! I went back down to the desk and demanded a new room - they had plenty - but the clerk tried to convince me that the smoke wasn't really smoke, it was from the cleaning solutions. He apparently thought I was a moron. I asked once more before giving up, and then asked him to call us a cab. He invited us to walk. We checked into the Doubletree for the night.

A good location in Miraflores

Location was good, staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. Positives: close to ATMs, a good grocery store with ready to eat food and a nice wine selection, a brisk walk to Larcomar, good tv,with lots of channels in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese.Negatives: breakfast was unremarkable and the boasted roof top patio was not really a patio and was locked and reserved for events only and a bit slow on the check-in and check-out, but I 've experienced a lot worse. A recommend for the price and location!

Good hotel in a nice location of Lima

Nice hotel, comfortable bed and room, good location. Stayed only one night on a stop over but was everything we needed. Only downsides are the limited English spoken by the hotel and the wifi was flakey.Would stay again.

Hotel is not luxurious but cleaned and comfortable only thing not so close to Miraflores which is where tourist would go. Streets kind of empty but otherwise ok

Good but are better places

The staff is very slow and work inexperience young women. The floors smelled to cigarrette and I know its not alloweed to smoke indoors in Perú. The lifts are small and slow. The hotel is well located in the middle of Miraflores district. You can choose a better hotel

ALL staff were excellent!! The breakfast was delicious. I would definately stay here if I went to Peru again. Get your airport shuttle online though. and if you don't want to take a taxi to Rosa Nautica, it's a short walk down the tsunami evacuation stairs, just a few blocks from the hotel.

Great location ... good value!

The hotel is in a great location and was clean and comfortable, although our room was on the smaller side. The free welcome drink on arrival and free beers each day (5-7pm) were great! The staff were courteous and helpful, although they spoke limited English. The breakfast was good with plenty of fresh fruit, juices and ham & cheese etc. On the downside, the 360 degree bar on the top floor had been closed which was disappointing ... this would have provided a great atmosphere and amazing views. There were also renovations being undertaken in the hotel during the day ... not the best if you wanted to sleep in past 8am!

Great value, great location.

Very clean, modern hotel. Great location very close to the waterfront. Only complaint is that the exercise room had very marginal equipment. Had a coupon for a free room upgrade so we got a small suite that was very spacious. Bed was very comfortable.

Great hotel, awesome room!

Love this hotel! We stayed in the QP Arequipa first and it was very nice, modern and comfortable but a little small for a 'suite'. When we arrived at the Lima one, it was much larger. The bedroom is separated by a curtain and there's a couch and kitchen, etc. Service was perfect and the free pisco sours were nice. We used our free drinks at their 360 lounge on the 10th floor, which is also a nice loungy hangout with dance music and a view. Free breakfast added to a perfect stay. We stayed at the more expensive Radisson a week prior, which was nice also, but I'd prefer staying at the QP next time. The Radisson is about 1 block from the central Parque Kennedy and the QP is about 7 blocks so keep that in mind if you plan on walking.

Great Hotel - Excellent location !

As a first timer in Lima i was worried about where to stay and about the safety of the neighbourhood. Thankfully i picked QP Hotel and Suites, the location is great and the suites are clean and comfortable. While Lima is grey in the winter, QP Hotel and Suites is a bright bit of Sunshine in Milaflores :-)

Complaint

The room I stayed in was very comfortable and well-appointed, and I truly appreciated the overall cleanliness and ambiance of the hotel. However, I must express disappointment with the breakfast service. The dining room was very small, and it was overcrowded, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, I found the breakfast options to be quite limited, primarily focused on bacon-based items, which seemed unusual for a hotel of your caliber. As a guest, I would expect a wider variety of options to cater to different tastes and dietary preferences, especially at a 4-star establishment. It is also uncommon to have to pay extra for an omelette at a hotel breakfast. This was a first for me, as even in smaller hotels or bed-and-breakfast establishments, they typically offer to prepare an omelette for you at no additional cost. I don’t believe this would be costly for the hotel, but it’s an important consideration for the guest experience. I believe improvements in the breakfast offerings and the dining room setup would significantly enhance the guest experience. I was also surprised by the lack of communication from the hotel staff. During my stay, I encountered agents who didn’t speak a word of English, which felt a bit unusual and impersonal. Clear communication is an important part of a positive guest experience, and I believe speaking English in a such high rated hotel would have made a big difference.

The hotel is located in a good Central place. The only thing I can complain about is that the jacuzzi was out of service during winter, which I booked this hotel for that.

Un disastro! Abbiamo selezionato questa struttura per l'ultima settimana di relax a Lima e ci siamo pentiti. Pensavamo che, essendo un 4 stelle, avesse standard elevati ma ci sbagliavamo di grosso. 1. Non c'è la piscina - avevamo scelto la struttura per questo. Ci hanno detto che a causa delle temperature (a Lima è primavera, attualmente) non potevano riscaldarla. Abbiamo chiesto una compensazione, ce l'hanno rifiutata. Se non potevano accordarcelo, il personale avrebbe potuto venirci incontro con una gentilezza (un Pisco al bar dell'hotel?) 2. La Jacuzzi era fredda - la receptionist ha detto che non poteva farci niente -- l'avevano preparata 30' prima dell'ora accordata. Il perché, non si sa ma comunque non è normale che sia calda per 20-30' e poi freddina visto che è all'aperto. Dovrebbe essere calda per tutto lo slot che richiedi. 3. Colazione poverina - pane, marmellata di fragole e uova. Non è standard da 4 stelle. La definiscono 'colazione americana' - anche questo non è corretto. 4. Avari con gli asciugamani - i primi 2 giorni addirittura ce li hanno dati di carta. Dal terzo giorno solo 1 grande. Il tappetino per la doccia, questo sconosciuto. 5. Copri-piumone e copri-materasso in carta/ TNT. Dopo qualche giorno si è rotto in diverse parti... mai cambiato. 6. L'ultima notte un allarme ha suonato per la strada in continuazione, stessa cosa la mattina. Nessuno della reception si è premurato di vedere cosa fosse successo e cercare una soluzione per i propri ospiti. ...

Camas incómodas

Estuve alrededor de 5 noches y puedo decir que la atención es regular. Depende de la persona que esté en turno. Uno sí me ayudó a pedir comida y todo bien. Otro nos ayudó a salir del elevador, el cual se atoró y nos quedamos ahí. Al parece es un poco viejo el elevador. Las instalaciones están bien en general, pero las camas son un poco incómodas, igual que las almohadas. Parecen viejas porque los resortes lastiman. El desayuno es tipo continental (huevo, pan, café, jugo), aunque en lo personal el café no es nada bueno. Por el precio que pagué podría decir que estuvo excelente pero si vas a un hotel a descansar y las camas son incómodas no vale la pena.

Experiencia regular.

Tener en cuenta que se recibe lo que se paga, no es una habitación con lujo ni nada por el estilo, la habitación es anticuada con televisores de baja calidad, el que da al jacuzzi no tiene control remoto osea que tienes que salir del jacuzzi para cambiar el canal. Todas las sábanas y toallas son desechables, aunque esto puede ser entendido por la pandemia. La habitación no era igual a la de las fotos de la aplicación, tener en cuenta que aunque poseía las mismas características mencionadas, la habitación tenía una distribución y vistas completamente diferentes. La atención muy impersonal, por el teléfono no dejaban ni explicar que quería uno, y se olvidaban de lo que se solicitaba. El baño al llegar tenía muy mal olor, se solicitó solucionar el problema y echaron perfume pero al rato volvió el holor porque la cortina era la que producía ese olor. Tuvimos que bajar y esperar que la cambien. De resto cuando aceptas que no es cara la habitación entiendes como se han reducido costos.

La habitación esta aceptable. Hubo mucho ruido de construcciones y reparaciones de dia y de noche. El personal no esta 24 horas ni el restaurante tampoco.
