Here’s a positive review for Pyramisa Suites Hotel Cairo: Wonderful Stay at Pyramisa Suites Hotel Cairo! My stay at the Pyramisa Suites Hotel Cairo was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was immediately impressed by the elegant and comfortable atmosphere of the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the view over Cairo was a lovely bonus. Housekeeping did a fantastic job each day, and I appreciated the attention to detail. The hotel’s amenities were outstanding. The pool area was a relaxing oasis in the middle of the bustling city, and the on-site restaurants served delicious food with plenty of options to choose from. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a great variety of dishes and fresh ingredients. Location-wise, Pyramisa Suites was perfect for exploring Cairo, with many key attractions and shopping areas nearby. The concierge team was also super helpful, giving excellent tips on where to go and arranging transportation with ease. I stay in this hotel before every year I go to stay in this hotel but this time everything is different reception is all worker is horrible Internet for 5 day No Internet every time I call they told is coming they lie . Noisy you can even sleep all night kids play in the hallway call reception they say they can’t do anything I will not recommend this hotel to any one I stay 15 day if I don’t pay in advance I will leave tha hotel all the worker in reception is miss treated me bad all of the receptionist one worker old lady her name Siham every time I told her to change my room or do something about the noises out side she is very rood I don’t in the pass I use to Leave good reviews I don’t every thing defrent now I give one star for this reception I will never come to this hotel any more one German girl from Germany she helps me get different room

It was a disasterous one . Air conditioner was not working properly! The shower was broken ! There was no WiFi coverage at my room ! Slippers were also not available when I arrived!

First of all, we booked 2 room so obviously i would like to have 2 rooms either connected or next to each other. they did not have that.Also WIFI does not work. We had our room on 8th floor and to user WIFI, we had come out near elevator.Also during our last day stay, we slept without powew/Electircity and we had flight next day 5 am. So not happy with out stay.

Advertised pictures of the rooms are a complete lie. Had to upgrade to the most expensive suite they have to get a 4 star experience barely. Linen was dirty and hotel is in extremely bad condition. Disgusting.

This property was just ok. The fact that there is no heat in the hotel is a problem for me, as the ac was on and I was freezing and uncomfortable during my stay in February. Staff brought extra blankets when requested and a space heater but I came down with a cold during my stay. Service is a bit slow in the hotel restaurant and I wouldn’t recommend booking a tour through concierge services.

Do not believe the hotel star rating or price tag.

The rooms and hallways are in incredible need of renovation. From the second you get in the elevator, you question the quality of the hotel. You step out and the carpet is ill fitting not seen a decent vacuum cleaner in a while. The room is very worn and has a feeling of 2star quality. The single glazed window was broken and failed to close correctly leading to noise and wind getting in. The bathroom was horrible. Mould on almost all tile adhesive. Timber framework hanging off. Limescale everywhere. Drains failed to drain. Shower curtain had mould. I felt dirtier after my shower.

The staff besides the front desk were all very helpful and accommodating. The front desk however was not. The room towels had random hair on them. There was a nail sticking through desk chair cushion that punctured my hand. The front desk couldn't help with printing or direct me to where I could print for work. The other people around the front did help however. Also I requested an adaptor for the plug in which I was told to go to my room and call the front desk, that I wasn't able to just come down and request. I did this and the maintenance guy showed up with the entire outlet and handed it to me to wire in. I had to call the front desk to translate that I didn't have any tools and that I wasn't wiring into their live wires. Their gym is also only open for a short duration of time and during peak hours of people wanting to do tours. If you're vacationing and expecting to do a workout before or after your tours, I doubt you will have time

The staff at Pyramisa Suites Cairo made my stay a pleasure. Marwa and Shima were very attentive to me during a rush at check-in. Marwa, Islam and their colleagues made visiting the cafe everyday a pleasure. Muhammad Al Saeedi and the housekeeping staff added a special touch each time they made up my room. I had a great Moroccan Hammam experience in the spa with Samar. Essam was also helpful during check in and check out.

I booked a 3 bedroom suite and only at check in did they notify me that they did not have one available. My only options were 2 separate rooms (which doesn’t work because I have kids) or a 2 bedroom. I accepted the 2 bedroom on condition they let me know when a 3 bedroom opens up. No one reached out my entire stay. The room was not cleaned once in the 4 days I stayed there despite me asking. The room was filthy upon check in with caked on food in the microwave, a toilet the leaked water on the entire bathroom floor, and a light fixture leaking water from the ceiling and mold visible. The bathrooms including bathtub had not even been wiped down from the prior guest. Unsanitary. I kept being told housekeeping would come but they only came once, made the beds and left. The staff at the hotel was polite but the manager was unwilling to rectify anything or even acknowledge the wrongs. Very disappointing.

Rooms good size but really dirty. My pen dropped under the bed and to get it I discovered so much filth and rubbish. Curtains, floor mat disgusting to the point that wouldn’t want to touch. Only 1 plug working. Fridge not working. No safe in my room despite advertised. Smoking is everywhere. Not even one area designated for non smokers. Pools too small. The only good thing was the variety at breakfast.

The first night my daughter took a shower and immediately it overflowed with drain issues. The smell was also gross. Asked for a replacement room and was declined. Made the best for the night and tried again in the morning with the demand to switch rooms or else i would be leaving to another hotel. They switched rooms and things were better. They tried to butter up verbally afraid i would write this review and said as much to that fact. They were very friendly but not very accommodating or willing to put action to make up for it. There was a sewer smell outside the dining area and flies everywhere. Smoke on this property was everything adding to the already dirty air in the Cairo area. We are well traveled and not snooting travelers so when i say i was unpleasantly surprised, i was. We did our last night in a hotel half the price with a view of the Pyramids and got twice the room with everything you could want. Learned a great lesson about all this and that pictures can be deceiving.

Un profesional un friendly receptionist They say they will allow to check in except if i show them the saudi family card who stat my coupenion is my wife This card is local card not used international that s why i did not bring I told them that i did not bring with me but the insist although not written in hotel policy I ask to give me statment that i come for check in but they dont give me the room so i can get my money back but they refuse They keep me from 11:30 tell 3:30 pm i take to guest relation mss seham but was same answer Then i met one manager he say the same but because i look for him good man he will alow me then he give the receptionist verbal instruction The receptionist start to process and say no big room i reserve there is only small room i agree but to down grade not take the amount in booking but she said ok wait her name was Nada then she left to serve other custmer with bad face reaction I wait tell they chang the shift a nice man name Emad was so kind he apologise and in minute i was in nice room with upgrade Sorry for the behaviour of 5 star hotel and thanks to Emad

Unfair offer-the worst hotel I've been in my life

Based on this experience, it is clear to me that this is a hotel that deliberately cheats by making a beautiful offer that it does not even intend to fulfil in part. Very slow check-in (30 minutes) as there was only one person in the front desk. The first room we got – terrible. The second – almost the same. Deluxe Suite, 2 Bedrooms was very dirty, there was fungus on the walls in many places, also on curtain in the bathroom and the floor, it was cold inside, no heating system was working (outside temperature was only about 8 °C – so my family slept in my family slept in socks and jumpers), there was no water in one shower (in the first room as the second had only one bathroom), very dirty floor covering in rooms - small rubbish and stains, badly cleaned white cups in the kitchen with traces of tea or coffee from previous guests (big risk especially during COVID time) (fortunately we had our private cups), bottle of water was full of water but opened before our arrival so we don’t know what was inside (again – big risk during COVID time, No words can properly reflect our feeling how terrible it was. In spite many complaints and messages no reaction from the hotel. So lost money. Pyramisa Suites Hotel Cairo is presented as 5 stars hotel and we booked Deluxe Suite with 2 bedrooms. And we have got something like “zero stars” room, with basic cleaning maybe a few times in the year.

Dirty rooms - wouldn't go again.

Dated hotel rooms with poor cleanliness. I've happily stayed in Premier Inn hotels that are dated at least they were clean. We were booked in a suite. The upgraded suite we were offered was the same. Bedsheets not even changed. Finally the 2nd suite room shown on another floor was better. Despite issues with this room we persevered through with our 3 night stay. The front desk manager and other staff tried to help as best as they could but the cleanliness of the rooms was a big let down. Breakfast was good but the food prices were very high when we ordered lunch and dinner.

What a HORRIBLE experience! I asked for non smoking room when I check instead my room there was cigarette buds in the ashtray, I cut my foot on the separator in the room that was broken, there was someone finger nail on the floor, the window didn’t lock so someone kid could open the window and fall out easily…. The food at this place was horrible need better options. I wouldn’t recommend. ALSO I got my laundry cleaned and they stained a few of my clothes got messed up and they never reimbursed me for my outfits messed up! I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! Stay away.

The proximity to the Nile River and other attractions was good. The first room that we slept in was horrible; the lock on the door was broken, the carpet was dirty and had not been vacuumed, paint on the tub was peeling, sticky substance was still on the floor and when you stepped off the elevator the carpet looked as if it had not been vaccumed in months.

When we approached the property, the sign on top with the name of the hotel was missing letters so that was the first impression. Check in process for the hotel was fine and the staff were pretty nice. Going upstairs to our rooms, the carpet on the floor in the hallways was pretty dirty. In the rooms themselves, the floors were hardwood and not clean. In the bathrooms, the door for the showers dont close. I thought it was just my room but since we had two rooms, neither room had a shower door that closed. This meant the bathroom floor gets wet when you shower. The twin beds in the rooms were very hard and stiff. The sheets had stains on them as well. Overall, if you need a place to sleep in cairo and dont care much about cleanliness, this is a good hotel for you. However, if cleanliness and comfort are important, I would not recommend. Very disappointed because this hotel is rated very high (close to 5 stars on expedia). The hotel and service amenities maintenance of the property do not reflect that rating at all. 3 would be generous. Friendly and kind staff though.

Disappointing and dirty

Very very dirty hotel! There is no chance this hotel is 5 star! They should be very happy if they get 3 stars. I changed three rooms during my stay, all were at least as dirty. The toilets were extremely dirty. All images shown are a lie. In addition, the staff is very unpleasant. I want to warn you about this hotel as you do not get what you pay for! Very disappointed with my stay!

This was the worst experience hotel , vacation i ever had , first the day I arrived I found a leak in the bathroom ceiling , water all over the floor , ripped ceiling tiles, duscusting,, I was in room 734 , the shower head broke, unable to take a shower, I asked to be moved , was moved to room 728, horrible room, again leaking ceiling pipes , water all over the floor ,, broken wood pieces on the ceiling leaking water. 2. I was harassed very badly, I have written a letter to the US embassy reporting the harrSment and abuse in this hotel , my fiancé is a physician in the USA, he was in Egypt for a medical conference, I asked him to bri g back some of luggage as I had overOver load baggage, I asked him to come to my room, I received a phone call in the room asking me if I called housekeeping, I said no, then we hen we came out of the room , which my fiancé was there for ten minutes a police officer was waiting outside if the room, we were treated worst than animals. This was a very, extremely disrespectful harrSment action..

Location is excellent the room is good and clean, the staff are outstanding. The breakfast was very good. They put me in the room near the elevators, and they make a noisy whistling sound. I can’t control the AC in the room and the phone in the room is not working

Good value for money

For the price the hotel the hotel provided good value for money. Star were super friendly but due to Covid this beautiful hotel which van potentially be a real gem looked neglected and not well maintained. It seems skeleton staff keep it running and the breakfasts were underwhelming and not up to a standard one would expect.

Very old with NO INTERNET!

We stayed one night at Pyramissa, while breakfast was free with a great variety, Internet was pretty bad in the room and they didn't repair it even though I called front desk many times! That was my main concern since I had online business to do! Although the suite that they upgraded us to was big and comfy with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the overall condition of the hotel is very outdated, old and needs serious renovation. There was some drilling going on above or next to our room in the daytime that had me call front desk to complain about it! If you want to do some repairs then you either close the hotel or close the involved floor and the one below! Also bedroom curtains were dirty and broken that we couldn't open and close freely. One of the bathrooms had clogged shower! Room service staff were helpful and fast when we ordered something to the room. Hotel location was great.

Positive: Location is good in the middle of the city. Negatives: Start with chargeable parking (140 pounds per 24 hours) although the parking belongs to the hotel!!!! All hotel elevators are shut down except for one and you end up by endless walking inside the hotel to reach the hotel. Room was not clean as spots and dust can be seen everywhere in the room and especially on the wooden floor although I was assured that room was cleaned by the room service. Room needs serious maintenance and it was obvious that the hotel did not get any maintenance or makeover since long time. Room smart key suddenly stopped working and it turns out that the issue was with the door knob card reader and had to wait for the (receptionist!!!!) to come and use the hard key to open the door with. A promise to replace the same within the hour however, nothing was repaired and we checked out next day while the door was still unrepaired. Overall, an experience that will never be repeated

At check in i was given 2 options. One was in existing building shown in advert and other was like a outbuilding. I chose the one in main building.. The room was very substandard plus most of things were not working. EXAMPLE Hair Dryer, Toilet flush, shower door was broken and safe was not working. It took them 3 hours to get things fixed and it wasnt even done properly. I have attached some pictures for reference. Eventually on the 2nd day i moved to the outbuilding and even in that shower had some issues.. water temperature was either too hot or too cold.

check in time is 2 pm. I arrive after midnight despite informing them 3 days in advance but still room is not ready. Get a room on 6 floor. Lift for 6 floor not working. you either take the lift to 7 and walk down or take it to 5 and walk up, your choice! poor quality lift and hotel. dilipidated condition. checkout was useless as well. i checkout early yet they are not refudning money for 2 days despite the policy that they will refund after charges. avoid this hotel

check in and out took forever. Bathroom had leaks and weird stains around the tub. Most uncomfortable beds ever. Air conditioning wasn't working. I called staff several times only to have them waste my time and claim it was fixed when it wasn't. "Free wifi" was Totally useless.. One of the worst hotels I stayed in. Egypt is known for its great hotels and awesome hospitality and staff.. not this one. Staff (most of them were stand offish n miserable) Needless to say I had no choice but to book a different hotel and check out earlier. They lied and said they will refund the day I didn't use yet did not. Expedia contacted them they refused to refund the remainder of my stay. How this hotel is rated 5 stars is a mystery. why? based on the oversized bathtub like ugly pool?! Terrible hotel.. Never again. Stay clear. The only good thing is: No bed bugs :/

The rooms are a little outdated, the area does not have much of a night life, the wifi was very bad. Room service was 24hrs and the pool areas was nice. Staff was ok no issue, no casino anymore.
