A very nice resort, with friendly staff. The resort has even a bank inside and some shops with fair prices. Everything was perfect, only the very poor wifi connection and old bathroom is something that is good to keep in mind and for the resort to improve.
We enjoyed our stay, the food was great, facilities were clean and well maintained. Our room service was spot on and when we left the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door one day and the staff did not clean the room - the next day they left a lovely bowl of fruit to say sorry. The pool and pool area was wonderful. We will be staying here on our next visit to Cairo and recommend this delightful hotel.
Cairo stay
The hotel was clean and comfortable but really out of the way of everything, nice gesture of fruit in the room , the pool looks really nice but it was quite cold while there so didn’t try it staff really helpful
Large, safe, resort
This is a large compound just a short drive to the pyramids. It is very safe and secure and has a feel as a retreat. It would be good for groups, workshops, teams or large families. The pool is nice. Area and rooms have a lot of mosquitoes. Breakfast buffet is mediocre and evening buffet is expensive. Room service meals are reasonable. Room needs more outlets or extension cords. I had to move TV to plug in laptop. Really stingy on coffee. I got 1 coffee, 1 tea bag, and at least 15 sugars.
thanks
Our room had a funky smell. The counter with the kettle had coffee rings from a cup. The counter between the beds also had coffee rings. The counter in the bathroom was dirty also. I carry hand wipes with me so I was able to clean these areas. The towels were changed 3 times and NOT once was the bathroom floor swept or cleaned. My feet were dirty from walking on the carpet which as far as I can figure the carpet was not vacuumed while we were there. The employees, the guards and the restaurant people were all VERY nice and friendly.
The staff is amazing! Having traveled to Egypt for the past 13 years! I find that the people make the property! The warmth and smiles that the staff provide makes me feel like I’m family! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, from family’s to Solo travelers! It has something for everyone!
As a repeat customer of this establishment, I find it very convenient and affordable. The staff is top notch and even remember my name after months of not seeing me.
No way, shape or form this is a 5-star hotel. The room we were provided the first night was abysmally dirty: unvacuumed, smelling of smoke, with stained mattresses and box springs. To their credit, the staff was good and moved us into a different room the second night which was more along the lines of what this property sees itself as, but even this "suite" was simply a nice room that should be the standard of the hotel. There are better places to stay in Giza for the same price which will be a more pleasing stay.
Not good
Unfriendly staff front desk, service staff do in the way asking always for money, complains of anything did not solve, rooms and bath are not clean or comfortable, bad lighting system, bad sanitary system, bad doors insulation, always noisy outdoors, room service enter room without permission, bad telephone sets, TV and remots are not working, bad curtains, service staff are not trained well, parking with extra charge and expensive value, the hotel must be closed.
Great place. Nice pool. Poor wifi
It’s nice place. Food is good Rooms are nice. Just wifi connection lagging. Maybe because hotel is big in area Other than that. It’s good
5 Star hotel? 😱
Room service is hit and miss, sometimes they clean the room sometimes you would come back and find the room as you left it, the beddings not changed, no drinking water supplied. The rooms are in a sorry state all round especially the bathroom, the shower, taps and sinks are dirty and discoloured.
The staff was excellent. Sharif the concierge was super helpful. The pool looked nice but be warned, the male guests dont treat single foreign women well. I was not comfortable enough to use the pool because i received so much sexual harassment from guests.
Just okay. Nothing special.
It’s okay — nothing fancy, which is expected I guess because of the price. But the rooms weren’t the cleanest and the bathrooms were shabby and missing a ‘shattafa’. Breakfast was dismal, but the upside is that that pool was nice and the staff were friendly. Overall, just okay. Not sure i would go again.
Bad rooms and no Russian reception language
I went with my sister after we came from a long flight n gave him the passports for check in n he asks for another document which we didnt have so he doesnt let us in
Breakfast was not so good (same food in each day and they didn’t give attention to the empty plates to be recharged with food). You really feel safe in this hotel.
Terrible experience , worst breakfast buffet ever , you will wake up with sun rise as the curtains doesn’t block sunlight , also the reception didn’t even know i made a booking and kept searching
good hotel, cheap, good location My opinion the wifi should be free and don’t pay extra for that.
Very Very Very poor to be a hotel & exspinsive against cleanliness
Room full of mosquitoes and very little help from staff
Very very bad
The hotel is very old not like the pictures at all , it’s dirty , start from the reception long check in unprofessional staff they were smoking behind the desk front of the customer, , room are really small I have been told whether you book for single or triple all the room are the same size , lobby furniture are old and dirty, flys everywhere inside the rooms and the lobby area , breakfast are poor, smoking is allowed everywhere yuk , hotel location is very unconvincing. A special thanks to the manager assistant who tried his best to make us happy . But never again and I don’t recommend it to anyone.
Very nice stuff not very clean room.there is no internet for free
No WIFI in the rooms you have to go to the reception.
The resort was very very nice. The rooms needs to be updated. The beds aren't the best and the air conditioning needs to be fixed because it felt like it was blowing hot air. Other than that the resort was kept very nice and the pool is very clean. The staff was very attentive and nice, the food was pretty good. And the location was great, the pyramids is about a 10-15 taxi ride away.
Room was not equipped. Tv didnt work, there were no towels. We called over 7 times and had to ask to speak to a manager just to get towels for my room. After a 2 hour wait, they sent me 2 towels. There was no hot water in the sink and no gym at the hotel. Overall stay and service experience was bad
Nice place
Nice big resort with lots of amenities and even a bank for currency conversion. Food was good with amazing prices. Loved the package with buffet breakfast.
Ok hotel next to pyramids
Room not cleaned daily Staff slightly rude and lazy Taxis and tours overpriced and different Prices for different customers . Good facilities like pool and buffet .
Old not maintained bad customer service
Not good looking action is bad, staff always busy, charge extra for everything, stay away
Bad Stay
I don't recommend it for anyone at all. The facilities are too old with no maintenance. There are no towels and you have to call them many times to get towels. In total, it's rubbish.
Room was clean however all equipment are very old ..television was really old and didn’t have any channels working .. the WiFi wasn’t working at any room even when I asked them it’s fine they can charge me and provide me internet they said they ran out of codes!! So the staying in the room was very Borning .. no tv no net . :/
Wonderful stay!
It was an amazing stay. The staff is friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant. Great value for your money!!
Awful Hotel
Run down hotel service 0 star wouldn’t recommend.
Great for relaxation
This hotel is great nice staff and good clean rooms. The only downside is they say they have room service but eveeytime you call, they tell you to go to the restaurant. However I kept seeing trays and plates by other peoples room as if they revcieved room service. Another thing, the hotel does not really offer a variety of food.
Not a good experience
This hotel is not very well maintained or clean. Sections of the hotel are abandoned and the buffet was very basic. The rooms had defective doors and air conditioned didn’t work in one of them.
It was normal experience. Stayed for one night only.
Comfort and Quiet
Hard to call this place a resort but ghost town would fit. Very little to do on the property. pool was too cold to swim, kids playground was sub par at best and most other stuff closed. Food was way overpriced and there’s nothing in the general area to walk to for a variety. You’ll have to call a taxi if you don’t want to pay hotel prices. However, the hotel food is pretty good. Room was comfortable except for changing water temperature in the shower. Beds are super comfortable. I never checked the wellness center to see if it was still opened. Times are slower for Egyptian tourism so maybe if it picks up so will the activities at this place. My guide told me they are relocating the Messeum to a giant building currently under construction just down the road. Maybe that will also help liven this place up.
Nice but could do with some renovations.
The hotel was nice. Staff are friendly. The best thing in the hotel is its absolutely lovely pool. Breakfast is fine. The room I stayed in really could deal with some renovation. The bathroom door was chipped and it felt like it was a room out of the 60s that hadn't been maintained or upgraded since then. It was fine. I would consider going there again. I had food during the day and it was very nice. I suppose my only negative criticism is that the hotel needs some renovating.
Very old hotel
Not maintened well, vey old furniture, all facilities are very very old.
The worset hotel
Very bad hotel ,very dirty rooms ,dirty bathroom with too much insects, very poor breakfast . My recomondation is not to visit this hotel .waste of money
The hotel is tray to be good they have a problem for air-condition in the room and in breakfast restaurant but they told me that they will repaired it hope next time to be better.
Old hotel, not worth the money.
Old facilities, not very clean. No free parking , no free internet. Parking workers will harass you left and right.
Nice close to pyramids and major highways.
Relaxing stay. Hotel needs TLC. Beautiful pool. Nice hotel layouts. Spacious.
Avoid it !
This hotel is rundown, should be rated 2 stars for it's bad condition, dirty rooms , damaged furniture, and the amount of insects and mosquitos are a total worry.
Worse hotel I have stayed in.
You can improve our experience by removing Pyramids Park Resort Cairo from your list of Hotels that you offer. This hotel does not honor what it advertises and we ended up spending a third more to stay there. First, I booked my room to include breakfast and this was not honored by the hotel and we had to pay for it. The hotel advertises it has free Wi-Fi in certain areas, this did not exist and it was never available. When we went to pay for the Wi-Fi Service available, we were not informed that this charge was per device and had to pay for 4 devices if we wanted to use Wi-Fi. This was ridiculous and I have never had this kind of charge or experience at any other hotel I have stayed at. This should have been clearly specified with the hotel site or when checking in. The room was shown to be have a king size bed and a single bed. When we were shown our room, it only had a king size bed and we were brought a fold up bed which did not fit properly in the room. We felt very uncomfortable with our room and bedding. When I complained about these issues and asked to speak to the Manager, I was told he/she was not available and they would contact me. I was never contacted during our stay. I never once felt at any time the hotel staff was concerned about our situation or tried to take care of it. In my opinion, this hotel simply wanted to "rip us off" and charge us for every penny they could. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone while visiting Cairo or Giza!
Welcome and respected
People here are amazing The kindness and consideration of the staff just phenomenal ! I'll be sure to book another trip her and I look forward to telling ,any people about my experience here The security is so important these days and the resort covers that with ease and professionalism. The gym facility is adequate They staff are helpful and happily offer any assistance to enable you to enjoy the equipment or simply leave you in privacy to your on work out Awesome !!The Breakfast buffet my favorite is a culinary experience I'll never forget EXCELLENT They next time I come to Cairo Pyramid Park Resort My destination! Thankyou
Holiday
It was in need of a good cleaning , no air conditioning working , bathroom and beds need updating badly. Meals were very poor
Very old hotel needs renovation and maintenance.
Food is very bad. furniture and curtains need to be renewed.
Good
The hotel in general was good the food was not great
Amazing
My husband and I arrived to the hotel a day after my birthday and the hotel had prepared a nice surprise for me. I had a lovely arrangement in my room. The staff was really helpfull, smile a lot and the hotel has everything beyond my expectations. I had a great time. They helped me with my tours and my transfer too. I have to thank everyone at the hotel for their service and care. The day i was leaving, they arrange a small lunch box for me because I was leaving early. Thank you Nehal, reception team, A&B team and HK team for making this trip to Giza the best time of my life! Martha and Jorge
Old facility with level of cleanliness really poor. The resort needs refurbishments and proper maintenance. Quite close to Giza Pyramids, nice swimming pool area.
Nice and peaceful Resort
The resort grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Rooms are spacious and cosy. Too bad the pool is not heated during the winter. There is nothing else around so we're out most of the time. Here's a tip. Uber's GPS map is not able to route the pickup and drop off properly at this location so be prepared to wait outside the resort's main gate to flag down the driver so that he doesn't miss it.
On Experia says 5 star hotel. In fact it's 4 star
No free internet.. no free parking. Friendly staff but entering the hotel with car is pain in the neck.. rooms are old actually hotel it self is old but it's a good. Yildirim hotel needs some fixing..
Transport inconvenient
Too far to the city
Nice hotel, swming pool and relaxing atmosphere.
Overall good stay, but I feel it's week management. Not all stuff are friendly, some lucks proffessinalim and attentiveness. Location was very inconvenient for us and we need a taxi each time we want to go out for a meal or anything.
nice place ... oriental breakfast
very nice place .. great breakfast and oriental .. parking is free .. wifi is free in lobby and restaurant but no wifi in rooms staff was friendly especially room service the phone number on hotels.com is wrong the correct number is 0238388300 the night receptionist was very aggressive while talking to him on phone before arrive
Horrible hotel
This hotel is only one star hotel , Rooms are very dirty stains everywhere you can not see chair real color from black stain one it , Bath room is so dirty smells horrible , flays everywhere inside the room , at lobby Pool area are very big and crowded and only two persons serves all this guests , and no enough selections when we ask for ice they told us we need to wait till ice is ready ..... After one hour and half we asked the reception to refund us even 80% from our money as we will leave he refuse and told me this is room is one of the best room we had !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the end hotel manager came and we explained everything to him and he refund us our money This hotel is not recommend to anyone it was horrible Experience.......
I don't recommend it
I wouldnt really recommend that hotel. The rooms were nice but maybe 30 years ago. The bathtub was broken, wifi costs there an extra charge of 22$ per day. Breakfast was ok. The mattresses were really old as well so a mould was in the middle of it
it was good i liked good for everyone & Family &couples i am enjoy there
good for the price
the pool was nice room was ok television was not working but they fix it at night old but good for the price
Recommended only for a short stay in GIZA.
It was not a very comfortable stay. General maintenance is not up to the mark. Only pool is good.
This is not 5 Star hotel. Maybe 2 Star
Totally run down facility of an old 5 Star hotel. Used to be Ramada along time ago. Now its a local brand good enough for 2 Star. Go 2km further to a real 5 star. Will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.
Ok hotel for the price
Workers at the hotel were very nice. Security at the hotel was good. The pool area was was excellent. The main problem with this hotel is they only have one restaurant open at a time. So there is no variety of food it dosent matter which one is open they all serve basically the same food. If you wanted to go anywhere else you have to pay a driver you cannot walk anywhere from this hotel. This hotel is not a five star maybe a 3 star.
The hotel needs a makeover and all utilities and services updated.
nice hotel nr pyramids
very friendly staff let down by dirty noisy area .wifi is a rip off .and being charged to play pool is a joke
Good facilities with bad managment
Room services is bad, breackfast is boaring, room furnetur is bad, cleaning services is very bad.
Old hotel unprofessional staff
Staff is not professional at all to call taxi for me and my wife it took more than 60 mins
I recommend it!
A comfortable stay, helpful staff, and the hotel is in the heart of Cairo's historic sites but still in a quiet area. I enjoyed it!
Normal Egyptian hotel
very affordable rate for a 5* hotel however I maximum rate it as 3*
Good for business visitors
Nice huge room. Averagely to well cleaned and very well sericed. Room and area is full of mosquitoes (not related to the hotel, but to the season - make sure you do what you have do before arrival). Hotel provides WiFi internet however did not use it as I had local 3G. One month costs about 400.00USD. There is NOTHING in the neighbourhood. The hotel is exactly 5 minutes drive from Pyramid Heights Business Park. Pyramids are again 5 minutes drive to the opposite direction. The hotel is located diagonally across the new Museum (under construction). In house Gym, Pool, Sauna, Restaurant, Souvenir Shop. The reception can provide local "taxi" to anywhere at an average price.
Staff was friendly, In General, the Hotel is clean but furnitures at the rooms, restaurants need to be updated. Location was good, few minutes from Pyramids.
very bad hotel
very bad hotel and location . the hotel is verrrrrry old , rooms r not clean at all . bath rooms very dirty. i dislike this hotel
Close to Pyramids
The location of the hotel is very close to the Pyramids which means far from Downtown and airport. No shops or restaurants near by. Every time you want to go to Downtown, you got to get a taxi. The hotel is definitely not 5 star class. The quality of staff, the furniture needs an upgrade. The pool is very good. Overall great value for money.
can not complain
Nice hotel. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast with different cold and hot items
Pyramids Park Resort Cairo | Hotel in Giza | Travala.com
The hotel was good value for the cost but there in nothing around it. If you want to go out you have to go by taxi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Mr Mahmoud the restaurant manager was very attentive. Overall a satisfactory hotel.
