Comfortable old Giza area hotel
This was a good option for our stay in Cairo, as it was a spacious room and the staff was helpful in making touring arrangements. The hotel is old, but has been updated in some ways to make it more comfortable. The clear/see-through concept walls for the bathrooms was a bit strange but there were roll-down shades that made it workable.
Friendly staff,(hassam) massagist, and some waiters, cleaning ladies, doing a good job.overall a good place to stay close to pyramids area with a good size clean swimming pool Just Food could be better.
This will be a hotel to remember
Fantastic location with breathtaking views in my room and at the bar and pool. Staff were exceptional and friendly - they let me check in early without an issue. Breakfast was good but no full englishes. The omelette station was available on my first breakfast (sadly wasn't there for morning 2)
Staff was always willing to help
This hotel was an absolute disappointment. The cleanliness is severely lacking—hallways, elevator shafts, and stairwells were all filthy. The management clearly needs to invest time and effort into basic upkeep. At best, this is a 2-star property. Customer service was equally poor, with staff appearing indifferent and rarely cracking a smile. Housekeeping never showed up during our stay, and even when we requested essentials like towels or toilet paper, it took two calls and a 3-4 hour wait to get them. The breakfast was dismal and unappetizing. There was little to no selection, and the setup was unhygienic, with saran wrap being reused for guests to access food—potentially contaminating it each time. We ended up skipping breakfast entirely after the first day. Additionally, the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold. The Wi-Fi was unreliable and required re-logging in every few hours. The entire property had an inexplicable and unpleasant odor that lingered throughout our stay. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more to stay at a reputable chain hotel. This place is simply not worth it—be prepared to feel grossed out if you choose to stay here.
Rude staff . Construction all night long banging hammers and construction noise from 10pm until morning each night . Not worth the money . Staff was rude . Book elsewhere
It was rated as a 4 star but barely would meet a 3 star hotel. Rooms are dirty and super noisy as not acousticly insulated from road traffic. Corridors are dirty and with cleaning stuff left on view. The pool is smaller than a room. The restaurant food quality is of food poisoning. my fish was fully uncooked and we left our food on the table. we were refunded for it, but it's not acceptable to promote yuorself to a standard you cannot meet just to trick customers. Avoid
The Hotel is nice , the area is noisy like the whole city. Staff friendly, they need a deepest cleaning to keep it more neat. I loved the stay with Pyramids view at the top roof, tops!
The hotel affords nice views of the Pyramids which can be a major draw for first time Cairo visitors who wish to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel photos on the website show the location at its best, and whilst it is good, they are a tad flattering. The staff are good. They can arrange day trips, transfers etc. The place is comfortable and secure. Breakfasts are good, I would be happy to stay there again. The local area is interesting to explore with a nearby street market that is probably not visited by many tourists. There are nightclubs in the locality but I am not sure what they are like. Uber to Downtown Cairo is easy
No internet & no hot water
Booked 3 family rooms with pyramid views. At check in they only wanted to give us 2 substandard rooms. Then they finally gave us 3 rooms. Only 1 was a family room, the others were a double and twin. Only 2 had pyramid views. The hotel refused to refund the difference in room costs and were completely apathetic when we complained. Don’t trust this hotel.
We stayed at the Pyramid front hotel for 3 nights. Pros: - The pyramids view is exceptional - From the rooftop restaurant, you can view the light show in the evening and we even caught a fireworks show - The breakfast is decent with some traditional Egyptian options as well as an assortment of breads, cereals, scrambled eggs etc. 2 out of the 3 days there was an omelette station as well - The room size is decent - Super close to the pyramids and the Grand Museum - The restaurant manager Tauba will make your stay worth it. He will do the most possible to cater to your needs. - Some other bellboys and workers are also very humble and ready to help - I requested a hairdryer during booking and was provided one throughout the stay Cons: - An hour drive from the airport - Neighborhood is very busy and not the most shiniest - Checkin and Checkout process is slow - No conditioner provided - Some stains visible on the sheets To each his own. You get what you pay for. If you can deal with the cons, it is worth staying!
Bad customer service
The view from our room and the pool/restaurant was excellent. The room itself was good although it was a bit noisy with the main road below. Housekeeping was good. WiFi was tricky as we kept having to get the staff to put the password into our devices most days as it was in Arabic and our phones are set to English. Bit lapse getting us a taxi for requested times as always a bit late but overall if you want to stay in Giza with a view of the pyramids it’s good.
Very nice clean hotel with all staff being friendly and welcoming, including a great breakfast. Ahmed the excursion manager is very helpful and booked me a couple of fun tours. Mohammed is the best driver in Cairo. Would stay there again.
Property was perfect for wha
I really tried to love this place, it was not terrible - it just wasn't great. The staff is super friendly! I have no complaints, they tried their hardest to accommodate us, except for the excursion staff. They overcharged me, I requested a refund multiple times and they gave me the run around. I still have not received it! The sheets and bedding had dirt stains on them, we requested to get them changed - it took them a while but they did it. To be honest, for the price we paid - I am not surprised. I just would never book any excursions or tour through them. They overcharge and will not give you refund. I was told XXX amount will be charged to my card, and they ended up charging an extra $200.
Very friendly staff and good restaurant
excellent hotel
Dirty pool, breakfast bread placed in front of smelly toilet .Unhygienic breakfast.toilet in room had glass door which was not sealed and painful blind inside for privacy absolute garbage.I checked out with in 6 hrs of checking in before we could get ill.they booked airport pickup was 3 am for double the market price still didn’t turn up we waited with kids 3am and borrowed phone from someone to call them still had no luck .you can find cheaper and very good hotel what they charge absolute ripoff
Great service, be aware of sleeping with a balcony view. Alot of noise pollution coming from glass doors.
Overall good experience. Beautiful views of the pyramids Restaurants around hotel I would suggest to travel with someone when visiting and staying at hotel. Friendly staff, hard working
Hidden Gem! I have read a alot of reviews prior to my decision to come here. I can confirm it’s a great hotel and the minor issues happens in all circumstances but staff and team done all the can do… People complain about noise in the hotel - It’s Cairo so it’s expected and it’s normal so ignore those comments. Great location - View from the room and rooftop is worth everything… Really nice staff and if I come again to Cairo I will stay here
Hotel was in construction very unsafe for children. Very very dusty hall and elevator do not work at every time. My family we are in 5 floor and two occasions we are going used the stairs. The break ok . The personal very good The place to move with Uber super fast and ver very cheep. May be when finished the hotel it’s work. El Cairo isn’t for 2 or 3 days no more In July super hot
There was a deep constriction going inside the facility, a new elevator is being installed. The shaft areas for the new elevator are all open just quarter covered by carton, which is completely unsafe for the guests specially when there are kids running around. And none of what i described was mentioned on Expedia while I was booking the rooms.
There was no parking. You had to park on the street. The hotel was not clean and was under construction.
The property is nice. View of the pyramids from the rooftop, 24 hour restaurant, 24 hour pool. They do not allow other people to even come to your room which is a negative & weird to me. Staff came banging on my door; thinking someone was in my room that I paid for. Also, you can hear staff cleaning other rooms because when they hit the floor too hard, it’s ridiculously loud
Service, clean ,views food, Close to the Egyptian National Museum and close to the pyramids ,and the employee was nice people
A Little Ripper of a hotel at a very price
The amazng thng about The Pyramid Front Hotel is the pool and the view of the pyramids. There is a new manager who is lovely and speaks excellent English. I do think the restaurant staff need to undergo some training. Eg Ensuring salt cellars and napkin repositories are full, and approaching staff on entering what they would like. They are very friendly but too much time chatting amongst themselves.
Nice view of the pyramid clean and newly done hotel
Staff were great, easy to communicate no issues at all. Fantastic view out to the pyramids.
Perfect view of the Pyramids. Great and efficient service. Everyone is friendly. Love the breakfast buffet. However a la carte menu is not impressive, please add local food like Kebabs, Kofta, Pita, Shawerma. Otherwise a very good location for seeing Pyramids.
Awful experience, no room on arrival, no hot water, told to sleep on the floor and property was being refurbished without any prior notice. One member of staff was outstanding.
Extremely rude staff and noisy from the construction work. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
Unpleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. It was difficult to even see the hotel. Entry is through a garage. Area is extremely dusty, dirty and noisy. The hotel is in a very poor neighborhood. It does not have many of the amenities the hotel claims it has. For this reason, they can't really put up pictures of the hotel itself and its surroundings and neighborhood.
Very friendly staff. Beautiful views
The staff is very helpful, and extremely nice. I booked all my tour's through them, and didnt have a single issue. There are a couple nice food spots right next door, and the food at the hotel is very good as well. Cleaniness was okay, but considering the other places near by, id have to say it is probably the best one. Id highly recommend this place.
Great hotel with view of the Pyramids from my bedroom. Helpful staff with a nice restaurant on the roof. Will organise an airport pickup and tours if needed.
Very clean, staff was great ,very convenient would recommend
Excellent city hotel, great staff and great views. The room was new and modern.
Lovely
I stayed in the beginning one night and the staff are amazing as long as the room is clean, then I extended my stay another two days .. the view from the restaurant is fabulous, the food is delicious, overall I recommend this lovely hotel to everyone.
Good employees
Our room (king bed and twin bed) was huge. The bathroom was all glass and had privacy blinds and was also huge. Upstairs roof top restaurant and patio was the selling point as you can see the pyramids from there. Had a rooftop pool but did not use. Food was also great. Giza was very busy with traffic so a bit noisy but that is to be expected. All in all a great hotel for a short stay.
Everything was great! The breakfast buffet has lots of options mostly savoury. Everything in and out of the rooms was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommending others to stay there and i would stay there again.
Like others we had to move rooms from front to back to avoid traffic noise. Back better but in the room next to us for 2 days running furniture was being moved and lots of noise and thumping by staff as if the room was being completely rearranged and elsewhere other building works on and off. Little things like water not hot enough, key getting stuck in lock etc. Staff lovely however and very helpful. Wifi good. Food okay. View good.
Inconsistency in cleaning of room
The view was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful
Loved it
Hotel was super nice and staff were very friendly. View of pyramids were amazing (attached). Only thing I’d ask for is better breakfast.
Overall good property. Nada and another gentleman at the front desk were super helpful!
Average stay
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the view of the pyramids from the rooftop is nice. However, room was not very clean when we arrived and the view of the pyramids from the hotel was not great given that the window was quite small. The hotel is on a very busy road, with the cars honking all night which made it difficult to sleep.
The hotel was generally good however, we booked a room with garden view and the room we got had a very narrow window with limited view to the garden which wasn't ideal. Also, even though we were two guests, we only had one bath towel available when we arrived, however we made the staff aware of this and they promptly provided an additional one. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful, specially the swimming pool staff that enhanced the ambient with a bit of music whilst we were enjoying ourselves in the pool. Even though the space available around the pool and sun beds are quite limited, this has an amazing view to the pyramids and pool towels are also provided. Breakfast is alright however, we felt there were too many options that would be for lunch rather than breakfast and would prefer it the other way around. But overall everything was tasty and fresh. Our bedroom was fairly simple and not very big, which for us wasn't an issue as we only spent two nights. On the positive side, they have a smart TV in the bedroom with Netflix, which is great. The location is super close to the pyramids, which is really convenient, however the area is very busy and there is a lot of traffic around, which I think is fairly normal in Cairo. There are a few shops around and few dining places at a walking distance from the hotel.
Good value hotel. Rooftop restaurant has pyramid view…great for relax. Hotel public area needs better cleaning work.
Nice hotel with the close view of pyramid. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious.
Excellent stay
Excellent overall. Very helpful staff. Restaurant manager, Khaled, was a gem.
PYRAMID FRONT HOTEL - UNDERWHELMING
My hopes were very high based on the reviews but I was sadly disappointed, I'm sorry. We arrived really late and the service was friendly and efficient. The staff are really lovely; room was okay but the premises in general was not quite clean. I also found one thing quite disturbing although I'm sure the intention was quite innocent. At breakfast the next morning, someone came looking for me because staff had told them that there were guests from my country. It turned out to be a friend so it was a wonderful surprise but it could have been different. Also, if you use the stairs, just note that some floors are a building site.
The room we rented was comfortable and clean. This hotel is located in an area that is not very nicely maintained. The staff was nice. The breakfast was not the best but the view of the pyramids is amazing in you upgrade your room.
Great Service and location.
Great service from staff, hotel is well located minutes away from the Pyramids, offer good quality breakfast and re very helpful. I loved my stayed at the hotel .
While the staff was courteous and professional and the property was clean, I am not sure how this property is considered a 4 star hotel. I was disappointed with the accommodations because I was expecting more from a 4 star hotel. The towels and bed sheets were cheap and dingy, the hotel did not provide wash cloths, the walls were thin, there was no daily manager’s reception, no art gallery, and the room was small (even for just two people). There is a restaurant on the property but I did not see any other nearby eating or shopping options. If you are visiting Cairo and you just need a place to shower and sleep in between your daily tours and excursions, this property will work for you. However, if you are looking for a place to relax comfortably and enjoy, this property may not work for you, especially if you are traveling as a family.

Staff were very professional and accommodating
Receptionist and staff are very friendly and helpful. I will highly recommend them.
The views of the pyramids from the roof terrace were amaing. Khaled, in charge of the breakfasts was very attentive and there was a good range of food for breakfast. Muhammed in the restaurant in the evening was very welcoming as was all the restaurant staff. The Expedia website states that the hotel is near a Metro station, this is not the case as the Metro is 8.6km away and would take nearly 2 hours to walk to. There is also no daily manager's reception or art gallery on site or a shopping centre. We had a Pyramid view room, which looked lovely, however the hotel fronts a 8 lane dual carriageway and is very noisy all day and night. We moved to a garden view room which was much quieter. The immediate area is not a tourist one and any restaurants nearby tend to be fried chicken ones.
Great location, great stuffs, good hotel. Nada was the best to organise the tour. Tour guide Ruku is the champ; she makes the trip personalised and comfortable. Room was very clean, can see Pyramid from the balcony and roof top garden. Highly recommend 👌
Great hotel close to a Pyramids— very up-to-date
Great hotel and location! We had a great room on the 10th floor and had access to a balcony in the back. The pool is also great. In my opinion, the service is too pushy. We avoided the front desk because we were constantly need to take the guided tour at extremely high rates as provided by the hotel. We visited the pyramids at our own pace and had no trouble!
The hotel and staff are amazing.
Lovely place
To be fair, it is not the hotel's fault that it is noisy. Just bring ear plugs or ask for a quiet room not on the main road (pyramids view). They are building new metro stations and after that it will be perfect. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of options. Nicest shower I have had so far in Egypt. The room was immaculate, the pool a bonus and best of all the lovely welcoming staff.
Fabulous experience!
Woooooow!! Location is FANTASTIC! can you imagine waking up and watching the pyramids from your window? Service is above and beyond and the BEST thing is the great service from NADA. We where a big group and she organized all our transportation, tours and Nile cruise and everything was AWESOME! If you´re coming to Cairo, this is the place to be, and Nada is the person to make your trip a marvelous experience. Thank you Nada and thanks to everyone on the staff.
The property of this hotel is very nice. Our room was clean and modern.
A huge thanks to Mustafa and the team for a wonderful stay at this newly opened hotel in Giza. The views from the roof top do not disappoint! We were given the option of two rooms - we chose the garden facing room with amazingly comfortably beds, pillows and the shower had great shower pressure. The team were incredibly friendly and helped with all of our taxi needs- all of whom are superb drivers. The food on the roof terrace is superb, I highly recommend the cheese samoosas! In spite of some challenging (vapid and ridiculous influencers) issues which the team handled superbly, we had a brilliant stay at the pyramid front- I highly recommend it.
Only the black outs but that can’t be helped nice location lovely view of the pyramids and the staff were very nice and friendly accommodating and rooms were kept in nice conditions staff were helpful were to go and arrange day trips.
Good location. Noisy but we didn’t t care. WiFi isn’t great and the bathrooms are a glass box with blinds.
The hotel is new, modern, and clean. The staff were generally really nice and helpful. The guest liason, Dina, organised some tours for us. We did the full day pyrmids tour, and a full day cairo city tour. They were fantastic. Our tour guide, Ahmed was fabulous. However, we also did the nile boat. We were charge a 'discounted' $35 a head, and it was awful. Food was grim and not much of it, entertainment was dire. Drinks were London prices and you had to pay cash. Cruise turned out to be a 20 minute slow move up and down the Nile. Quad bikes were also awful. Aside from driving past slums / a dead horse, the vehicles were falling apart (we also did this in Sharm where they are also falling apart but better than this) . My husband went with my 19 and 17 year old sons. They didn't get to drive alone. Most of the time where was someone on the front operating the vehicle. If you want to do quad bikes, do it elsewhere!
Great experience everyone is very helpful. Nothing to complain
Rooftop restaurant is fantastic with the pyramids nearby. At night its even more beautiful. Customer service is immaculate Specially, Specially, Specially Dina. Dina has made my stay much more enjoyable. Always smiling and welcoming. She introduced me to the fantastic trips and excursions they organise. And done it with professionalism, enthusiasm and passion which showed that she really cared about the history of the country and the enjoyment of her guests. I can't thank Dina enough. Highly recommended.
Street a bit noisy but the benefits outweigh this issue.
Great brand new rooms , clean and new furniture, paint etc. Very spacious rooms, everyone is always ready to help. The restaurant is on last floor overlooking the pyramids, great relaxing area. They have their own daily tours for a lot less than other places. Professional tour guide is assigned to speak your language . I will be back again
Best view ever from the hotel of the pyramids. We loved our stay that we extended it. Staff are friendly. Very clean and newly renovated. Highly recommend this hotel.
Room: The room itself was very clean- 5/5 The room was nicely upgraded and I really liked the bathroom and shower with ample hot water and water pressure - 5/5 Overall hotel cleanliness—if you take the stairs, the floor right before the street contained piles of open garbage and recycling—after 2 days of taking the stairs they at least closed the doors to hide the open piles of waste. Staff — Staff were friendly and helpful. Not all speak English but many do at least to direct you to someone who does. Around the hotel — It was a great experience to walk around the area to see real Cairo. The views of the pyramids don’t disappoint. They are close and right outside your window but below them are streets of slums which is also part of your view. We seem to be one of the only foreigners walking walking around. We felt relatively safe to Di so as police are basically stationed every block and will stop anyone who bothers you. The occasional taxi stopped us which are easily enough told no to. There is within a block a few great and cheaply priced fresh juice places and cafes. The guava juice is excellent! People were friendly and helpful and did not demand tips (unlike the tourist areas). Some still will charge you higher prices but most won’t. The streets are dirty by my country’s standards and contain homeless street children and others and many vermin infested sad dogs (all were very friendly though). Traffic is unlike anything I seen before.
Amazing view of the pyramids from the top terrace, lovely staff and well planned flexible tours
Very nice hotel with a great view of the pyramids! The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommand it without hesitation!
This hotel is brand new and you can tell! Everything is clean and modern! Staff are friendly and helpful They offer great tours and cheap rates The view is incredible Rooftop pool overlooking the pyramids is amazing
Excellent. The entire hotel staff was very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The fantastic views of the pyramids from the restaurant terrace and pool were fantastic. We'll definitely be back with the whole family. Giza, Cairo. Very friendly people, nothing dangerous. Very safe. 100% recommended.
Not Good
We asked for slippers as soon as we arrived but they did not bring them. We always walked around the room with shoes on or barefoot. We used the towels over and over again but no clean towels were brought. We were not asked if we needed anything. We were not asked if the room needed cleaning.
Okay
All okay, but very not nice checkout. You can’t go until thet have checked the minibar.
Nice Hotel
Very good
Bed linen but okay service
The service was overall just okay; however, the bed linen had stains on and seemed to be used for so many times.

The views from this hotel bar and pool made this hotel We stayed in a pyramid view room also when you opened it curtains We did say “wow” The price was very reasonable don’t let that put you off how cheap it is The free breakfast was ok Fresh made omelettes and usual other foods It was a little noisy at night though with it being in Giza and on a main road We used the hotel for the trips Was good but very rushed around didn’t get chance to appreciate the sights We tried to book the airport transfers with the hotel but didn't reply to our messages This hotel doesn’t serve alcohol btw for the ones that like a tipple My advice buy a bottle in duty free It’s clean, excellent views , good price Recommend to stay !
