The best view possible!
Great place with a killer view of the Pyramids of Giza (if you manage to get the pyramid view rooms). Rooms were decently clean, shower had curtain blinds which were in poor state. Taking a shower was awkward, considering there is a clear window looking out and the blinds are broken. We just hung towels to block the window. Rest was good. A short 5 mins walk from the entrance gate to the pyramids.
Great Hotel
Excellent location in Giza, great service and the service it’s an A+. The restaurant got a an excellent view to the Pyramids. Glad with all the hotel staff. Recommended for less than a week not more.
I was met by pleasant staff who showed me to my room. I requested to be moved as I did not like the look/condition of the initial room. It seemed very dark and I felt cramped in the bathroom. I had already stayed at this hotel in 2021 and the condition was a lot better back then. It has clearly not been painted since then and it definitely needs new decor and the rooms could use some updating, but overall the stay was a great one. Breakfast on the roof was amazing, having your breakfast while looking at the pyramids in the morning was one of the best moments of my stay. Overall the stay was pleasant, I'm just not 100% sure I'd stay there again.
I was overcharged. the property was unsafe. the doors to the room did not lock. I did not receive the room I reserved for. The staff wasn't there whenI arrived and it took them an hour to get there to check us in. They did not secure my luggage and the locals were trying to steal it when I walked up.totally disappointed and I would like a refund.
Check-in was wonderful. The restaurant and people there at the rooftop were also wonderful. Room was so-so. It was “clean” overall but we were unable to use the jacuzzi because of how dirty and full of bugs it was(I have photos and videos). Walls and ceiling were also dirty. The front desk, not a good experience either. They overcharged me by $200 for the tours I arranged with them and refused to refund me(even with written proof and arguing for 3hrs the night before we left). I now have to go through my bank to stop payment. One driver they hired for a tour almost killed me and my wife. He came to a dead stop in the middle of a highway(for at least 30 seconds) and then left us in the car on the side of the road because he lost his phone.
The view from the rooftop terrace is unsurpassed. You won’t get that view from the posh hotel in the city centre. This is a quaint, boutique hotel, right down the street from the sphinx and the pyramids. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but simple. If you come to Egypt to experience culture and to soak in the views, this is the place to do it. You get a front row seat to the pyramids light and sound show every night. The staff are very helpful and amiable. The food is amazing. Highly recommend for the frugal traveller. A
Hot water didnt work in our room and had someone come look at it. They never cam back and we had cold showers/bath. Also the TV didnt work and there was only two batteries for three different remotes in the room.
Hotel services and facilities were excellent. Pyramid views from rooftop was great. We found no issues. We would go again.
The hotel is excellent around pyramid Haram area in cleanliness and staff service. Outside the hotel is not as clean as modern Cairo, but it is expected in Pyramid area. Good view of pyramids from rooftop. Value for money!!
Pyramid Edge is in a great location for access to the pyramid plateau which is only 250m away. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was great. There is a roof terrace where you can sit and view the pyramids. It feels like you can reach out and touch them!
A view to beat them ALL!
Highly recommended for all those Insta pix. We had a great time - it was like a dream having this view constantly. Issues we experienced - the geyser for the hot tub ran out of Hot water half way through filling the hot tub up....haha. was a little disappointed. The area itself is a more....uhm..working class area. It is not fancy - so be aware. A worth while stay none the less.
Excellent View and very accessible to city
Stayed there in December for a 2-week period. Nice location, excellent views of Pyramids and the Sphinx. Staff is helpful. Ask - things get done. IS this a 5* hotel? NO. But, if you want a comfortable bed in a safe environment after your long day of touring, can't go wrong with this place. Jasmin is a hoot! Knows her business well. Breakfast folks are great help - just get to know them. It is a nice place. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I come to Egypt again.
It’s About 10 minutes walk to pyramids. Nice pyramid view from the rooftop. Hot water and clean room. Places to eat near by. Overall nice place. Would stay here again. It’s about 1hr drive from Cairo airport.
Stayed 9 days good hotel for the price
The view from our suite was amazing. The staff was nice and location to pyramids is a stone throw away.breakfast was not the best but it is free so can’t complain. Stayed two nights
Nice Pyramid view. Friendly stuff. The restaurant is expensive and food is not so good. No alcohol nearby. The breakfast was included and , therefore, ok. It was a little scary to go outside at night. The taxi driver could not find the hotel easily. The hotel provided a shuttle on the way back, which was good. One problem was that we did not know that we were supposed to turn the water heater on. Also, the air conditioner was somewhat hard to set up (not too cold, not too hot)
All very well there is a lot of noise a lot
Excellent! 100%
Staff was friendly, place clean, and the view is the pyramids and sphinx :)
Beautiful views of the Pyramid. Great customer service by staff. Good free daily breakfast. Nice rooftop seating. Very convenient to shopping and walking distance to light and sound show at the Pyramids.
Loved every bit of it.
Amazing
If you want to immerse yourself into the day to day life that is Egypt, we highly recommend the Pyramid edge hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Thanks to Mo, Mido, Omar, and Youssef for making our trip memorable.
They are very Friendly staff, the view to the Pyramids was great.
I enjoyed being so close to the pyramids. I enjoyed the rooftop cafe that allowed you to see the light show. The property owner agreed to reimburse us for three (3) nights but has not confirmed in writing. I would like to complete this today.
View from room and rooftop of pyramids. No gym, no spa, no bath in the room, despite having space for one. Lift was dangerous. On the plus side, most of the staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and ensure we were as happy as possible, which made our stay pleasant.
The property is at walking distance from Pyramids however approach to the hotel is not great. We booked a Pyramid view room but all what we got was a huge brick wall in front of a small window and One of the pyramids could only be seen from the corner of the window. There was no heating provision in the room and the hotel staff could not provide a spare one when we requested. Hot water supply in the shower was barely enough for one person . The bathroom door did not open fully restricted by washbasin at the back. Hotel does not have any first aid kit. Breakfast is ok but repetitive. Meals are pricy.
I booked this hotel for my 27th birthday and my first time in Egypt. I can assure you this hotel is one of the prime accommodations in Giza. Close to many restaurants and walking distance to the pyramids, my view from my room is spectacular. One of the workers at the hotel, Issa, made sure that my overall stay will be amazing. Before I even arrived, he reached out to me and offered me fun activities to celebrate my birthday. He also even offered to pick me up personally at the airport. When we arrived at the hotel, I was offered welcome beverage while my room was being prepared. I had fresh fruits and more beverages waiting at my room. Every day of my stay was filled with adventures. Camel ride, ATV quad bike, dinner cruise, pyramids tour, and Cairo tour, Issa only contacted the best tour guides. On the night of my actual birthday, the entire hotel staff surprised me with a personalized birthday cake and celebrated what I thought to be another one of my solo birthday trips. My 5-night stay at this property was enhanced by the friendly and helpful hotel staff. They were very consistent on keeping my room clean and my requests met. The people on the bar and restaurant were even friendlier, always checking up how I’m doing and letting me join in on their conversations. At the end of the trip, let’s just say I made more friends in Egypt than I expected. This property made my first time in Egypt less intimidating and enjoyable
We had a great experience at The Pyramid Edge hotel. The service we received was second to none. In particular, Muhamad (Mo) went above and beyond his duty towards us. Nothing was too much trouble for him. His passion for his work was evident in the way he talked about how he loves meeting new people from all over the world and the way he would remember how we liked our tea and coffee. He even managed to teach us some Arabic in his free time! We had an indescribable splendid view of the pyramids every day and night. The staff always greeted us with a warm welcoming face. Every effort was made to make sure we were felt at ease. Reception staff including Isa and M.K, were ready to answer any queries we had. Nada and Fatima, were ever so helpful in planning our trip to Alexandria. Hossam, our tech guy, was always ready to solve any worries we had in using the equipment around the hotel. Our whole experience was absolutely wonderful, the view and comfort and food was worth it all. We plan to come back in October during our trip to Luxor!
WHAT A VIEW! Honestly, you won't find a view like this from any of the big name hotels. Rooftop breakfast was extensive, delicious, and overlooking the pyramids. The hotel itself it tucked away on a side street which makes for a quieter night time experience (a rare find in Cairo.) But also everything you might need is right on the same street (bakery, bodega, restaurants.) The staff were topnotch and super attentive and friendly. They also arranged our visit to the pyramids and sphynx for a reasonable price with guide and driver. Loved our time there!
The place is very clean. Staff are very welcoming especially fatima, kamel and Rehab. Food is amazing and fresh. Highly recommended :)
Very Clean, friendly staffs, Perfect Pyramids View
Excelente servicio
Magnifique vu depuis notre chambre. Je conseil cette hôtel.
Grandiose
Uitzicht vanaf terras is onbetaalbaar!
