Great gluten-free breakfast options. Lovely courtyard for breakfast and roof terrace for drinks. Lots of stairs and corridors made it feel different and unique. There is a lift to most rooms. Excellent service and friendly staff.

The property is beautiful ( actually 2 hotels which share facilities). Staff lovely, definitely worth including breakfast and definitely worth getting a larger room. We had a 18ms room and was lovely but small and windows only gave natural light, no view. So if you wish to relax in your room and a view is important choose one of the larger rooms budget allowing

We love The Puro - we stay there each time we're in Palma. The rooms are cozy, but beautiful, the beds are so comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Every staff member makes you feel welcome and that your every care/ concern will be taken care of. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice place

Very good location

The Absolute best!! They will happily watch your bags before checkin and after checkout. Customer service was excellent. Jimena was FABULOUS!! She checked us in, set us up with the Puro hotel on the WhatsApp, gave us fabulous recommendations on where to go and what to eat in La Palma and absolutely went out of her way to make our time at the hotel AND the city incredible. I can’t say enough about her or the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, the mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. I enjoyed soaking away the day in our rooms tub. Recommendation if you are planning on using the soaking tub - go to the LUSH down the street and purchase some bath salts! Also - the breakfast! Absolutely incredible. It’s all delicious and high quality. Breakfast is buffet style - which my husband and I loved. We had the best nights sleep and by far the best breakfast at Puro! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone staying in La Palma. We would love to stay at this hotel again and will plan our next trip to Mallorca accordingly so that we can stay here. Just book! Great central hotel - very attentive staff - beautiful city - loved every minute (and appreiated the air-con due to the outside temperature!!)

Excellent stay. Would’ve liked some minor upkeep details in the room to have been better but overall it was a great stay. The hotel’s quirky layout was charming and its location was excellent. The sea-front lounge area is not as close to the hotel as it seemed so we skipped it altogether.

Relaxing pleasant stay

The location of this hotel is perfect. There was a great selection available at breakfast to start your day. The rooptop loungers was an added bonus, somewhere to relax after a long day of sightseeing and eating :-) I would most definitely stay here again.

Assigned the worst possible room on arrival which was in the basement and with a steep staircase further down to bathroom. It was dark and dangerous with the steep steps, with the only window facing the restaurant. The pool pictured prominently in advertising is at a completely different location at a significant additional fee based on availability. Spa facilities (not services) need to be booked in advance which no one tells you about. Breakfast was good. Location is good too. Extremely disappointed by room and communication.

Luxury, location and great staff!

We've stayed here several times in the past and are very happy with it. Location is great, hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are modern and bright and the breakfast buffet is excellent!

The breakfast buffet was amazing, with lots of variety and changes every day. Plenty of interesting places to go in the area (including to eat and drink). Would definitely recommend.

Great location but didn’t live up to expectation

It is not a bad hotel but it certainly doesn’t live up to the images on various booking sites as a luxury hotel. The location is amazing which is what you are paying for, but the hotel itself is actually quite tired looking and in need of a bit of love and repairs. The hairdryer was barely working, the toilet flush was broken, the room was a bit dusty in places, no full length mirror or anywhere to hang dresses and we were not informed that water was complimentary as it states 5 euros on the mini bar menu. Neither did we realise until the last day that you could order cooked breakfast which was supposedly all included. The Puro beach clubs they eagerly promote has a minimum spend of £90/couple incl sun beds although the shuttle there is free if you book in advance. Most staff were very friendly which helped even if they didn’t give us all or correct information about things. I am very glad we didn’t pay for the most expensive rooms as then we would have been even more disappointed. I would recommend it for the location but personally we would probably not go back.

Service was fantastic! As was the breakfast……. But the hotel is a little tired and noisy and the roof terrace disappointing ….. good location and the beach clubs were fun but expensive…..

My partner and I and our parents stayed at Puro Hotel over the weekend and it was a fantastic couple of days. Upon arrival we were made very welcome by the reception team and nothing was too much of a problem. Our rooms were very clean, modern and comfortable. Being Brits, we would have loved a kettle and tea & coffee facilities, but this was available with room service at a reasonable cost. My girlfriend absolutely loved the natural toiletries available in the room (it’s the only hotel she has found that the products are all completely natural). The wait staff at breakfast were very attentive and the food was tasty and plentiful. The chefs had different breakfasts available each morning which made for a change. We also got to enjoy the spa facilities which made our stay even more relaxing!! All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel in the middle of the city down a lovely clean historical street. Absolute gem of a hotel. Loved everything about it. The location was great and the staff superb. we can't say enough good things about it.

It is a nice hotel in a very good location. However, we where not pleased that our rooms were in seperate buildings. One room was at the back of the building next to the courtyard where the outside sitting/bar area is at it was very noisy in the evening and at night time. The other room we had was spacious but very dark and we missed a comfortable chair to sit on.

Palma hotel stay

Great hotel in the old town just a couple of disappointments 1 roof top bar not manned or functional. 2- I know it is a small thing but when you come to an expensive hotel you expect water by your bed every night, this only happens on your first night. Otherwise I thought staff where great,especially front of house. Breakfast good and fresh only slight disappointment is that they cannot serve you on the terraces (don’t know why) and so we brought our on food out because no room in the restaurant. Overall I thought it was a great hotel and have no hesitation in recommending it

This is a lovely hotel in central Palma. We just stayed one night before going on to the beach. An oasis of calm and very stylish. Breakfast was delicious, comfortable beds, beautiful outside courtyard with a palm tree growing through the middle and a rooftop bar/seating area. The plunge pool is very small. One of the lights wasn’t working in our room. Otherwise it was perfect.

Fantastic stay. Very nice location. Walking distance to everything you can possibly want. The free shuttle to the Puro Beach beach clubs is a very nice touch, but they run out of space quickly, so book early. The staff is amazing. Jorge at the front desk is amazing. Makes you feel like family. I wish he was family : ) Beatnik Restaurant is very good. The prawns were my favorite. Delish! Clean rooms. Rooms have a robes and slippers. They don’t have wash clothes, so bring your own. Bath Towels and hand towels are very big and plush. Every single person that works at the hotel, from the concierge to the drivers that take you to the Puro beach club, the barkeep, the wait staff, etc.... all sweet, professional and speak various languages.

So-so

I paid extra for a specific room and they put me in a different room. They claimed it was nicer but I was there with my husband and it had 2 separate twin beds. I also paid for a private terrace in the sun to which I was told they gave that room to someone else. A solution was found but it still was not 100% private. I would recommend if you charge extra for a specific room to give people what they paid for. The hotel was clean and I will say the biggest positive about this hotel is the location. It is in the middle of Palma and within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping.

I do like the hotel Puro it's cool - however at night the local area is a little noisy and more importantly every morning the Rubbish from the local restaurants are taken out over the cobblestone and the reversing sounds from the rubbish lorries can be heard from 5 am! that's is not great!

Very enjoyable

The hotel was well located in the old town, plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would look to stay again.

It had a beautiful, authentic but modern Balearic feel. Nicely laid out and a perfect location for getting feel for the town.

The best in Mallorca

My trip to Mallorca is very good, especially when we stay at this hotel. This hotel and the rooms are very stylish, which is the reason we chose this to stay. Also, this hotel has a great location for local restaurants and shops. Many nice and popular restaurants are walkable from the hotel. Noted, the staff is always friendly in the front desk though we did not need to bother. This hotel has nothing to be complained and everything is worth of our praise. We are very happy to stay here.

A boutique hotel, central location, easy walking or access to transportation. Breakfast was included with our stay, and was one of the best we have experienced. The music playing in the restaurant is worth a mention. Very relaxing for that morning cup of excellent coffee. All staff were friendly, especially the young lady at the front desk (don't recall getting her name, she had curly dark hair). When we left I actually felt as though I was leaving a very good friend. We would stay at this property again when our travels take us to Mallorca! (One additional note: no bath robes in the room, which would have been a nice touch, given the classiness of the property, however this could have been due to the type of room we booked and was not a deal breaker.)

Perfect location, great walking distance to the main city attractions. Unfortunately no view from our room and I expected to have a bath tub in my room, but it unfortunately didn’t include that amenity as shown in the pictures.

arrived and was upgraded to a beautiful room. staff were so friendly amd the hotel was in a great location near the shops, bars and restaurants. the hotel restaurant was superb, would definitely recommend a visit. fantastic tapas restarant around the corner too. Breakfast was great, didn't try the bacon and egg so cant comment but the choices were fab. hams cheeses fruit etc. and the staff were so helpful and made you feel VIP. will.defintely go back. thank you puro for a lovely 4 day break.

Puro hotel top it all in every way. One of the very best we ever stayed in Europe. Staffs are commendable for their services including Ilana,Bowie,Teresa and Dither. Hope to visit there again. It’s centrally located and near everything. Thank you Puro ..

Well positioned hotel, with pleasant contemporary design. Staff friendly. However our room was cramped, with poor light and no chart all, and no where to write. Our TV sound was not operative and took days to be corrected. Food was nice, but seating so low as o be uncomfortable. This was an expensive hotel, and the room was supposed to be above average. We were very disappointed, especially with the lack of light and would not book there again unhappily.

Not perfect

Lovely hotel in great location, however I felt that complimentary water bottles should have been replaced daily as you are paying a daily rate. Had to purchase one from the bar which was 4 euros. Also no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which is poor. Bed very comfy and good shower but again toiletries not replaced daily, cheap skates! Great breakfast.

It’s a boutique hotel we have to keep that in mind. However, I felt that the room was way to small. The location is great, which is what I liked the most about the hotel. Confortable bathroom but very small and uncomfortable bedroom. Breakfast was ok not good not bad. Almost forgot to mention that on Expedia they show a pool but the truth is that is not part of the hotel is part of the beach club. I believe it’s false advertisement, I specifically picked the hotel because of the pool and when I got there nothing. I think that if you are looking for location more than anything else you should pick this hotel.

City break

I think we possibly had the smallest room in the hotel, but obviously can't confirm it.. Very little room around the bed, hence my husband kept stubbing his toes on the bed!!!!! Bathroom needs a little attention....... Shower screen needs replacing. Would in future request a room with a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath. Excellent breakfast, really good choices, from freshly squeezed orange juice which was excellent, and a vast choice of fresh fruit, cereal, cold meat and cheese and hot bacon and eggs. Fried eggs and porridge cooked to order too which was a nice touch. Roof terrace was an added bonus for a city hotel, although a little cluttered.

Spa closed

Spa closed as well as roof top bar and room cramped. But staff v. Helpful went to stater hotel for spa but was 10 mins walk not ideal or relaxing. Room pokey but was upgraded on request and given complimentary herbal teas. Overall ok but not experience I was lead to expect.

A hotel to keep coming back to

Standard room was really nice. The best shower I have experienced. Bed comfortable with two wonderful sink your head in pillows!

Hotel is so central to Everything you need

This is my second visit to Puro and would definitely go back again. Its a funky hotel in an excellent location near the cathedral, harbour, shops, restaurants & bars. The staff couldnt be more helpful.

Our stay

The most welcoming staff and manager made our stay memorable. The hotel is located in the old town of Palma with good accessibility to the shopping promenade and the Cathederal. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed having it daily. The only down point was the small washroom and shower but overall was great! We will certainly get back there rhis year! We can’t wait....

Fantastic!

We stayed at the hotel during a short holiday to celebrate my birthday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, recommending restaurants, advice about the area. The Old Town location was exactly what we wanted. A 5 minute walk to the Cathedral Rooms very good, bed was good, I would have liked a firmer mattress but that is just a personal thing. Good breakfast. Great location, great staff and really good restaurants. We will be returning

Nice hotel close to all good bars and restaurants

We love this hotel in the heart of Palma. We had a nice room the only down side was it was directly above the main door so you heard the door bang every time someone came or went I reckon the street could get noisy in summer so next time we will try to get an inwards facing room which should be quieter But overall good and we will go again Thanks again to the Puro team

Convenient location.

This is a lovely hotel, spotlessly clean with helpful staff. Just a short walk from the marina and cathedral and the main shopping street. We never got to grips with the TV in our room and that was our only criticism really.

Loved our stay at Puro Hotel!

A lovely boutique hotel in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our stay at Puro Hotel, from the comfortable room to the excellent breakfast in the courtyard and having a drink at the rooftop pool. We booked to go to Puro Beach and took the free shuttle over which I highly recommend. The hotel is in a nice area, and you can easily walk everywhere. The only small thing I didn't like was that the bathroom sliding door when fully closed still had a 5cm gap!

Great service and facilities (wi-fi excellent, quiet air conditioning) in an interesting hotel/venue in the old town near bars and restaurants. 25 minute walk to the beach- good exercise.

We booked a Junior Suite (Joy) & thats exactly what it was, amazing room, roof terrace magical, all the staff very helpful in arranging our check in and a trip to Puro Beach Club. Location is superb, great experience & will return for a 3rd time.

A great boutique hotel with excellent staff!

The staff could not have done more to look after me during my stay. My room was a great size and lovely and quiet. I throughly enjoyed my stay.

It truly is "An Oasis of Calm"

Set on a renovated thriving side street the hotel is quiet, due to little traffic, and relaxing decorated in predominating white with lots of plants and an assortment of furniture styles.Our room on the 4th floor overlooked the street and had large patio-sale doors with blinds and curtains so lots of fresh air and we were not disturbed by cars etc as vehicle access is limited. The roof terrace is great for taking in the sun as is the central courtyard.Great music plays throughout the public areas all day and there is the nice touch of an honesty bar by the restaurant. Breakfast consists of the usual.fruit.meats,cheeses etc. but all items of excellent quality with fresh juices of many types. The staff are friendly and welcoming .

Excellent location in heart of Old Town

Puro Hotel is extremely well positioned near to the Cathedral and marina. There are many great restaurants/bars close by and a huge variety of shops are within walking distance. Palma is lovely in March although I would probably not say the same in the summer months. It was quiet and the atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. The architecture is delightful and some of the buildings are breathtaking ; the Cathedral and Almudaina are a must. Very little noise and certainly no trouble. All the locals were very helpful and pleasant. A really captivating city - well worth visiting

Had a fantastic stay here during our visit to Palma. Don't skip the hotel restaurant, Opio. Some of the best tapas we've had.

Facilities for breakfast

We arrived for breakfast with no where to sit. There were also about another 15 that arrived around the same time. We had to wait in the bar area before a table became free. The breakfast, however, was excellent

Good location but ends there

I'm afraid we didn't enjoy our stay at Puro Hotel. The room was small for the price paid and the atmosphere was pretentious. A couple of lovely staff who were really pleasant (lady in bar and lady at check in) and a few who would not even acknowledge you as you entered or left even if it was only you and them in reception. We will not return :-(

We were charged for two rooms

Terrible stay at this establishment. I originally had a reservation for three nights. Due to transportation delay I had to shorten my stay to two nights. I called the hotel since I made the reservation directly through them. The employee stated that he would note it that the reservation was cancelled and it was okay to proceed to rebook a new reservation. Upon arrival, no one was able to help us with our baggage and there are stairs (I had two luggages). Once we entered the room our blow dryer and shower and tv did not work either. We went out to dinner and upon returning to the hotel, concierge rudely stopped us in front of several guests saying we had not paid for our stay. Since there was a language barrier I was humiliated. I was told that we now had two reservations meanwhile I cancelled the first one earlier and your employee informed us to proceed and book a second reservation. They now told us we had to pay for both reservations. This is absolutely ridiculous! We had cancelled the first one. My question to you is if we had both reservations why did your establishment not give us both rooms, but rather one with a non-functioning television and blow dryer? Then on top of that we asked to speak to a supervisor and conveniently one was not available, how does that happen at a 4 star hotel? Puro is supposed to be one of the more elite and prestigious hotels in the vicinity, that is why we chose it. If we didn't show up for our reservation at all I would be more understandi

Lovely hotel!

Our room wasn't ready at the 3pm check in time, but staff offered us a free drink while room was being prepared. The room was beautiful. The staff were fantastic, and hope to return next time we're in Palma.

Lovely hotel,excellent location .

Do feel it was a shame that no one informed us before we went that it was advisable to book for Puro beach .The poolside was fully booked and we had to go on the terrace ..which as it turned out wasn't too much of a problem .But could have been as I don't like heights and it did cause me some concern .If we knew to pre book it would have stopped the worry . And we were not advised of the additional cost .Having said that we had a lovely time at the beach club and the food was lovely .

Terrible - double booked room and shocking service

We arrived early morning to be told they'd double booked room - sent us to cheap apart hotel at scruffy end of town, where rude about it and said that's all they were legally bound to do. Put us in a noisy room over the bar area. We then booked to go to Puro beach - no space on bus so had to get taxis and then when we got their found that reception hadn't sent booking through so ended up with six of us sharing one bed at full price including for a two year old and 5 year old!

Ten Years a regular

The Puro is quirky, young and trendsetting. We first stayed here 10 years ago and have been coming back on a regular basis ever since. It's location is perfect for the old quarter of Palma and is walking distance from all the good shopping, places to eat and the sea-front. Plus, there is the facility of Puro Beach which the hotel runs regular shuttle busses to. This is a little piece of paradise on the Med.

Great location.

Arrived to a warm welcome checking very quick. Hotel very clean and chic. Our room was on the fourth floor overlooking the street. Good size but not very good lighting bathroom was worse due to being very dark with poor lighting. Breakfast good choice loved the cava. Bar area was lovely until they tried to get the hip hop nightclub feel later in the week which did not seem like the right place for this and it kept you awake until early hours of the morning.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights in mid January 2016. The hotel is in a great location within the old city. A little unusual in its layout due to the building being very old. Modern contemporary fittings but our bathroom was next to the bed with a poor fitted sliding door! I understand that all the rooms are different in layout. Staff were excellent and our overall experience was good. We would stay there again if not in an alternative room.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staffs are friendly and the room is clean. The breakfast was great. The only comment is that there is no kettle in the room. It is not so convenient to prepare milk for our daughter at night. I have to go to the bar to fetch the hot water.

An oasis in November

I visited out of season (November) and the hotel and Palma were very quiet. That suited me as I was on a relaxing break and needed to work. The hotel is lovely, the staff were very friendly and chatty and took the time to ask how I was, a nice touch bring a solo traveller. Puro hotel is in a fantastic location near the Cathedral, restaurants, cafes and bars, museums and galleries. The seafront and harbour - 3 mins - away is lovely. I can imagine how busy it is in summer (as an Ibiza regular) but if you want a quiet break in Autumn / winter, this is ideal!

Trendy hotel in prime position

Smart hotel in ideal location close to all attractions. Good continental breakfast. Internet slow but it is being updated next week, some fittings in need of updating but generally hotel puro is well recommended.
