Bathrooms were so small and the water leaked from shower so it was a very wet floor when you got out and 1 bath mat wasn’t going to do it. Our room never was cleaned and we had to ask a few times. There was major construction with loud drilling at 7am and we were never warned about. Good location and nice gym but no slippers either which is strange as robes were provided.

1. can't even find a way to supply me with a two-leg plug adaptor and did not even try. For large hotel like this, the gentleman at the front desk behave like he never run into such a request before. 2, no slippery provided 3. room phone not working, can't even call front desk for help 4, no cups for bathroom use 5. shower floor is so slippery I skidded to almost fall 6. coffee/hot pot service table have no light, can't even see clearly with the table top being black in color ...... lousy hotel that only serves the profit of the company, not the customers Will not recommend to others.

I had never stayed here before and it was new years eve so pretty hectic in Melbourne that night. THE ROOM WAS GREAT, bed was amazing and i live the pillows, very neat and clean and would definatly stay there again. If i had to puck 2 faults and there not bad ones, no microwave in rooms, i heat up a heatpack at night and couldnt do it. And figuring out the different lights on how to turn off, very minimal and honestly will stay there again.

Room facilities is excellent but their breakfast restaurant is terrible. The restaurant staff needs more training with customer service

This was such an amazing spot. When you walk out the front door you are in front of the Bourke Streel Mall stop in the Free Zone tram area. You can get anywhere in Melbourne from here. China town is around the corner and The Mall is right next door by the entrance with the “red carpet” which is where Uber will drop you off. I highly recommend this hotel for its proximity to the tram, the shopping and food.

Amazing location, very clean big rooms, comfy beds, the hotel smells amazing and does a great breakfast. 24hr check in. Hotel kept bags there happily after check out as wasnt flying out until 5pm

Due to illness we could not keep our night stay at the Pullman and as the booking was a non refundable booking they were not even allow me to use it another weekend. Very poor attitude for a 5 star Hotel chain Extremely disappointed

The daily housekeeping a bit average. 4days no replenishment of toilet paper. 1and a bit rolls for 4days. I did ask twice, to no avail. Everything else pretty good.

Convenient central location, with clean rooms and good service overall. Depending on your room location you might get stuck looking out onto a dark alleyway. Lighting in general was an issue during my stay. Recommended for business trips, but I wouldn't stay here if I was on vacation. Key card stopped working on last day, 2 hours prior to checkout time. This was quickly resolved by front desk.

Service was excellent from one staff member. The rest weren't crash hot. Small bathrooms in rooms. Bit dated.

Would have given this stay an excellent, however there was an issue on check-in, reservations could not be found, which was eventually resolved. Checkout was worse, the lady didn't even say hello, or asked how our stay was. She was overall unfriendly. Otherwise the amenities themselves were great, and we really enjoyed our delicious breakfast.

Close to museums and other points of interest. Located in Chinatown with unlimited dining and shopping options. A great place to experience Melbourne.

Im giving this place 2 stars, The Check-In was a breeze staff was friendly and clear with instructions i asked of i could have car valet as an addition definitely wouldnt recommend especially if you have a modified vehicle with big wheels. Night 1 was amazing Night 2 great asked for ice and it was brought to the room immediately. Check-Out this is where it goes from 5 to 2 stars. Early in the morning i could hear my car being moved around multiple times along with the wheels losing traction a few times.. If you're wondering how i know its my car its because its a v8 and loud and i just know my car. On check out i advised from desk that i was checking out and i requested my car giving them the tag i was given on Friday night while waiting i wasnt really told where to wait or what to do after. I waited and seen someone holding my keys so assumed they were going to get it and followed them to the pick up point another car was being picked up by another Check out residentee. I was asked what was i waiting for and i advised that i was waiting on my car told the woman that the keys in her hand were for my car in which she went and got my car.. Car was dropped off i got in and moved my car to the side while i looked for directions out of the city.. while waiting the woman come running up to my car telling me to get out of my car telling me it wasnt my car she had taken the keys off of me accusing me lying.

Very convenient right in the centre of the city. Staff on the floor are usually nice, especially Ben the Bell Captain- we appreciate his very calm demeanour on handling our luggage for storage on the check out day. Replenishment for amenities in the room is not always consistent. Over a 5 night stay, we had one day with a pillow missing, 2 days with no new cotton buds, and they did not give us a new toilet paper roll or cotton pad for day 3-5. Overall, a nice stay, however service can be a hit and miss.

Have access to 3 types of water on tap on our floor was amazing. We stayed well hydrated during our stay and recommended this feature in all your properties.

I was disappointed with room.rook was large but only 2power points. Bathroom although a good size vanity area was small to place items needed.no hair dryer had to buy one.for the price I was disappointed.area and surrounding areas are perfect.

If your looking for a Motel close to shopping this is your place but if you are looking for somewhere quieter for relaxation then I do not recommend. Rooms are very noisy between walls as you can hear the guests easily in the next room. Not ideal if you wish to sleep in or just unwind. Quite small bathrooms in the rooms as well.

The bar is smelly (fried food) and needs to be renovated. Room service is poor: four requests to fill up the mini bar but no action Water fountain in the corridor was not working

Right in the heart of the city. Had three lifts to get people upstairs quickly. 24 hour front desk. Front doors closed and needed the room key to enter so this was great for security. Downstairs eatery for breakfast and rooftop bar and eatery where both excellent.

Unclear billing

The stay was comfortable, location is excellent and convenient. However, the billing is terrible. I am being charge an extra $20 on top of what I was billed during check out without knowing why.

Weekend with friends. Room was ready which is always a bonus. Lovely layout, GHD in room which is a bonus, shower gels and shampoo were lovely. Only let down was shower pressure could have been a little better. It is in a great location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was great (small but everything was delicious)

Great location, very friendly staff

Location, transport and room fitout/cleanliness was good. One significant issue was the lack of sound insulation. On 3 of 5 nights my neighbouring room conversations, television etc was so clear and loud it was like they were in the same room. Means lack of privacy, and very disrupted sleep as neighbours chatted into the early hours of the morning, not too loud, just no sound barrier. Have not had such experience for some time in 5star hotel.

Being right in the centre of the shopping precinct was amazing also the room was well appointed and bed super comfortable. Highly recommend

Central handy location, the hotel is clean. Services overall okay, but just kept forgetting our request not to service the room during our stay. Staffs seem not been well trained, and not in the same page in some areas - parking rule, refund credit to be used, etc. “Breakfast is included” was stated on Expedia webpage when the booking was made, but was advised it was not included during the stay, very disappointed about the misleading information on booking

Can’t get any more at the heart of Melbourne CBD than at the Pullman. Such a convenient location, rooms were nice and spacious, clean and still very new. Bedding was very comfortable and views were great. Had a corner room on the 13th level and was very nice.

Walking into the Pullman was not a welcoming experience Dark corridors and not enough staff for the many people waiting to be checked in/out. We were given the wrong information about the restaurant/bar/breakfast area which had us back at the front desk twice.

We had a lovely stay at pullmans, would highly recommend. Breakfast was super yummy. Rooms were lovely and clean. Amazing location, walking distance to everything in the city. 24hour check in and were more than accommodating to leave our bags there after checkout for a few hours while we continued exploring until we heading to airport. Absolutely loved our stay here. Will hopefully be back.

For the past 4 years, this has been our only go-to hotel in Melbourne but our last experience has left a bad taste in our mouths. When we checked in, the Assistant Manager saw in the notes we had requested a late 4pm check out for an extra $60, pending availability and approval. He asked for my number and said he would call me to advise whether this would be granted. We never received a call back. The next day, we asked them if there was an update. They said they needed to check with the Manager and give us a call back in the next 30 minutes. We did get the call and were told we could check out at 4pm. When we came back on the final day at approx. 3:00pm, we found our keycards had already been deactivated. We had to get them re-activated. Whilst we were in our room, we got a knock from the next guests who had already been allowed up. We overheard them saying something along the lines of “housekeeping said they weren't leaving until 4” and they even tried entering from the connecting door. Housekeeping then opened our door while we were packing. It didn’t feel good to see housekeeping literally standing outside the door as we were leaving. They have also ignored my email about the incident.

A good stay

Had a good stay at Pullman Melbourne. Easy access to lots of places with the free tram zone right Infront of the hotel. Enjoyed the comfort of the room as it was well cleaned. Just to take note, no complimentary water in their room. So need to get your own which is okay cause 7-11 is just opposite. Would stay again whenever in Melb 🙌

The staff at the Pullman are second to none. We had an awful lot of luggage and the stress of manoeuvring multiple cases and awkward packages was just simply 'taken care of'.

Good location. Noise leaves a bit to be desired - partly due to location, partially due to the properly build. Ear plugs help.

It was good except for the 1 day when they forgot to clean our room. There were too much noise from outside. Thought it was soundproof but it wasn't.

Close to everything we wanted to do in the city which suited our needs

Property is situated in a great location on Swanston street, very close to public transport, Melbourne Central and Emporium. The rooms are nicely renovated and modern with a great bathroom. Only complaint would be that the water pressure is slightly weak in the shower. Would happily stay here again.

We have just spent 4 nights staying here as a family (2 adults, 2 kids) & it has been such a memorable experience. The location is amazing & gives you access to many of the CBD highlights, plus walking distance to shopping & options to eat. The room was a hit with our kids, given the size of the tv, the rainfall shower head, the street art visible from the window & the size of the beds. Plus the staff were accommodating with supplying softer pillows for the kids to use. We would stay here again for sure, in fact we added an extra night to our original plans due to flight delays and the staff made allowance for us to stay in the same room. The room service meals were delicious and came in a timely manner. Thanks for having us!

Loved our stay, breakfast at Eva’s was great!! Only downfall was the fire false alarm in the middle of the night .. thankfully we had a good giggle with the kids and everyone went back to sleep stress free

Loved, loved, loved this hotel! It’s not often these days I am impressed with a hotel. I am very fussy when it comes to staying away from home. But this hotel was lovely, the rooms we’re spacey , clean & comfortable. The service in the hotel & valet parking was absolutely outstanding, they couldn’t do enough to please & delivered such a care factor. The location is perfect. Everything at your doorstep. I can highly recommend this hotel. And I will definitely be back very soon. My new go too for my Melbourne stays!

Property was clean, convenient to all aspects of our trip, theatre, sport, dinning and shopping.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff were lovely to deal with. Room was clean and comfortable and the Nespresso coffee machine was a welcomed addition. Trams were right outside and lots of little laneways with great food options to explore within an easy walking distance.

I have stayed here many time over the years for work, this time, my wife and I stayed in a Deluxe Room, 1 King Bed. Whilst the room was nice it was a little lacking compared to room I have had in the past.
