I think the property space is great. We upgraded ourselves to 3 bedrooms villa, while it was great, it wasn't very well maintain. There wasn't much to do nearby the hotel, Shuhe old town was nearby but not really walking friendly too. However its till convenient to get a taxi or Didi to go around Lijiang main old town. You can see Yulong mountain anywhere from the lobby or at the second floor of our villa. Breakfast lack varieties but doable. Will recommend it still as its still overall a comfortable stay for our family.

Service varies with different staff. Doesn’t feel like they received too much trainings. No in-room dining too. The facilities are not very well maintained. My shower holder is already broken.

We got upgraded to the villa which was quite a treat, though there wasn’t any mountain view in the villa. Everything worked well and the staff were also very attentive. Enjoyed our stay here.

Beware, No pool

Biggest problem is that there is no pool, despite it saying so. I think the villas have a private outdoor tub, but as a parent travelling with 2 kids, I limited my search to hotels with pools so this was a major issue for us. But that was not the only problem. 1. When I arrived, I thought I had walked into a market. A large group had just either arrived or was leaving so I guess all the staff was busy helping them. Nobody to welcome you, help you with the luggage, tell you where reception is, etc. I had to make sure that other guests couldnt cut the line. 2. Room was not ready at 2PM. 40 minute wait. "Sorry but nothing we can do, just wait at the lounge." 3. Once I got to my room, I found that there was no pool. Had to get creative and use soap to make a bubble bath for the kids. 4. Lunch the following day: Ordered 4 meals that came one by one in 15 minute intervals. I could tell that the large group had booked half the restaurant and so Im assuming only one chef was available for all other guests. I complained and the staff gave us the last order for free + fruits. I believe the staff tried their best to solve issues so I dont blame them. I blame the management team for not being able to plan ahead and allocate the right amount of resources for individual guests + ensuring that the large group will not negatively affect other customers. For instance, people from the group were smoking in the restrooms!

Location is a bit remote but property is clean and quiet. Lots of animals around. Very nice environment.

The villa stay that makes us reluctant to leave

Our 2 days stay at the Villa here in Pullman Lijiang Resort and Spa make us reluctant to leave. The Villa offers what regular rooms could not..... we have the whole compound of the villa to ourselves in full privacy. We love the design of the villa as it is bright and open with glass walls all around. Yet, when needed, we can just simply lower the blinds. My wife and I totally enjoyed the time we spend in the courtyard as we soak in the peaceful and beautiful scenery of the surrounding areas.

What A Beautiful Experience!

I am truly impressed by the quality of the service during my 7 days stay here. The staff were very attentive to me & my wife during our holiday here in Lijiang. A special note of thanks to the staff Bishop, Jason, Mary & Lisa, as well as the others whom I had not managed to remember all their names, for making our stay such a warm and friendly experience. The environment in the hotel compound is so pleasant and the scenery breathtaking. We love the daily walks we took around the compound to simply enjoy the peaceful quiet atmosphere as well as the magnificent view of the Jade Dragon Snow mountain in the not too far distance. We will certainly not hesitate to return and stay here again. Thanks for the beautiful memories :)

Staff are always with a big smile. And the breakfast menu has a slightly change everyday so we are not bored in our 5days stay.

Better Options Available Near Lijiang

Inconveniently located near Shuhe village (but not walking distance). Basically a series of villas, which might be convenient for families? Age is starting to show / poor upkeep. Very understaffed. Very limited service. The Spa charges are absolutely ridiculous. Staying near Lijiang is a much better alternative.

Tranquility Defined

Beautiful resort and not at all crowded in early November. View of the snow mountain and beautiful strolling path was the epitome of tranquility. Had plenty of wonderful service from the F&B staff - particularly Van and Belle - though not so much from the front desk and concierge. (Concierge offered zero useful information about JDSM). Absolutely go for the in-villa BBQ! Every villa type resort should offer this!

Pullman Lijiang 2017

Excellent stay, largely because we received a free upgrade to a standalone villa, which was spacious, nicely furnished, well-maintained. Service staff were attentive and responsive. The resort is huge and provided a good respite from the crowds at the old towns. It is within walking distance of Shuhe Old Town but quite far from the more popular Lijiang Dayan Old Town - but that's ok because the hotel provides free transport. Overall it's a great place. Only suggestion for improvement would be to improve the Western food at the main restaurant, and also provide more options for travellers hoping to take a break from the heavy and spicy Yunnan food

Nice but dark

The hotel met our expectation and what impressed us most was the service at the restaurant. The waitstaff were attentive. One suggestion though is that the premise gets a little dark at night making it easy to trip over the stairs or whatnots.

Quiet location, easy access to tourist towns/markets, such as ShuHe. Good jogging and biking possibilities. Excellent Spa. Great food. Great asian breakfast. Only for lovers of cereals the breakfast is disappointing: only package stuff with too much artificial sugar.

Lijiang's hidden side.

Hotel set in attractive location with mountains in the background. Hotel rooms are spacious but few have mountain views. The plunge pool in the description doesn't seem to exist, at least we couldn't find it. The spa was good quality. Shuhe old town 5 minutes by free hotel bike from the hotel was attractive and far less touristy and crowded than Lijiang' main old town and is recommended for this reason.

Charming and dependable

We have come to rely on the Pullman name, specially when traveling in China. You can be sure ask basics will be taken care of. In this property, the rooms and location are outstanding. It might appear a bit dated, but I think it's absolutely charming given the stunning Lijiang backdrop.

Favorite hotel in China

One of my favorite hotels. The resort is amazing. I wish we had more time to enjoy our villa! The villa was comfortable and spacious- well designed. The assistant manager was exceptionally helpful in giving us tips on where to go and how to take local transportation. Would go back!

Lijiang a city worth a second visit

Stay was enjoyable although we experienced a shocking male staff at the checkout desk.very poor attitude.

Thumbs Up!

A beautiful hotel with a view of the Jade Dragon Mountain which you can admire at during breakfast, or if you're lucky enough to get a room with a balcony. Bicycles can be rented for free for a leisurely cycle around the resort. Location is only a 5min ride to Shu He town, away from the noisy hustle and bustle of the Old Town area.

Great hardware but software need to be improved

The Pullman Lijiang is much better than Banyan Tree Lijiang in terms of its hardware and facilities. However I think the service and software is still need to be improved. There are some minor things not to the standard of a 5-star vacation resort yet. I know the management is making efforts to make things better but I expect it can be improved soon so that can make it as the best resort in Lijiang area.

Clean and comfortable hotel

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable but the training of its staff is apparently not enough so it took them long time to respond to your request.

酒店的院子很大很安静，可以看到雪山。房间里的设施齐全，有个大浴缸（我超喜欢），设计也很有品位。总之体验很棒！

房間設備稍舊，有損壞，例如電視搖控。前台沒有介紹酒店設施，例如水療，沒提供水療菜單。前台沒提供借傘服務。

值得体验

酒店很大，晚上显得有些冷清。入住的时候没有礼宾欢迎，自己找了好久才找到前台。硬件设施很好，只是有些设备稍显陈旧。总体来看性价比还不错，值得体验。

酒店就在束河古镇旁边，距离丽江古城稍微有些距离。酒店外观很漂亮，在院子里可以直接看到玉龙雪山，风景很好。基础房型是在单独一栋二层小楼里，房间内的设施有些陈旧。但是整体环境卫生还是比较好。早餐是半自助的，可以提供当地的特色美食。

리장고성, 수허고성과의 거리가 있어도 조용하고 PULLMAN이라는 브랜드를 믿고 예약했습니다. 서비스는 대체적으로 괜찮았습니다. 짐을 맡기는 서비스는 좋았습니다. 와이파이도 빠르고, 식당옆에 옥룡설산과 정자가 보이는 호수 경치는 좋았습니다. 하지만 룸 관리상태가 엉망이었습니다. 쓰레기통은 부셔져있었고, 문은 열면 삐걱소리가 났습니다. 조식은 일찍 가면 먹을수 없는 것들이 있었고(7시에 식사), 먹고 있는 상태에서 청소를 하고 있는건 아니라고 생각합니다. 리장,수허 고성과 거리가 있어서 매번 차를 불러서 나갔는데, 수허고성까지 무료 마차를 탈수 있었다는걸 체크아웃하고 호텔 나갈때 알게 됐습니다. (보통 이런 서비스가 있으면 5성급 되는 호텔이면 체크인 할때 호텔 설명도 해주고 그러지 않나요?) 단체관광 손님 위주의 호텔인 느낌을 받았습니다. 비싼 가격 대비해서 비추천입니다.

落ち着い佇まいでまったり出来るホテル

静かな佇まい落ち着いた雰囲気、朝食の種類も多く快適でしたがホテル従業員の笑顔が少なかったのが残念であった。以前バニアンツリーに宿泊したが建屋自体新しさを感じました。

Hotelanlage zum Relaxen!

Ein Hotelteam das funktioniert! Von Manager Michael Schumacher, Emily, Xi und all die anderen Mitarbeiter stimmt die Kommunikation und die Freundlichkeit! Bravo, ein grosses Kompliment! Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind gut designt und werden jeden Tag perfekt gereinigt. Die Nespresso-Maschine ist Extra was uns Kaffee-Trinkern grosse Freude gemacht hat. Die Betten sind grandios und die gesamt Anlage ist sehr sauber und in der Nacht sehr ruhig. Eine kleine Pferdekutsche bringt die Gäste in die nahe Altstadt Shue oder in die grosse Altstadt mit Auto nach Lijiang. Auch das Frühstücksbüffet war fantastisch mit exzellentem Kaffee. Es war ein grosses Vergnügen unsere Zeit dort zu verbringen.

非常精致的酒店，风景也是绝佳。可惜因为天气不帮忙，没能在酒店观赏到玉龙雪山的风姿。 酒店靠近束河古镇大门，出乎意外的是，酒店安排马车免费送我们去束河古镇，非常感动。

Great hotel near Yulong Snow Mountain

First of all, the location is convenient, close enough to Suhe Old Town, SiFang Old Town, and YuLong Snow Mountain. The overall design and style of the hotel really give people a sense of serenity, especially the bar at the hotel it was simply wonderful. Cleaning staff was friendly but other staff at the front desk and restaurants are EXTREMELY UNDER-TRAINED, many of them do not know how to serve customers properly. Aside from the services, the restaurant food could really use some major improvement! Otherwise I think the overall environment, facilities, and amenities are compromised by mediocre to bad food and services.

Good and special hotel

LOVE it!!!!

無論酒店本身 及 風景也 非常非常漂亮。真的有舍不得離開的感覺。 早餐的選擇 也不錯 （竟然有雲南小吃，真是一大驚喜！）。 唯一的問題是 晚餐沒有太多雲南菜 選擇。（主要是西餐和廣東菜）但附近的商業街 和古鎮 有很多不錯的餐廳。

Great room, a but far form town center

The room is good, and the shower is great, but the choice of food in restaurant is a bit less. Also , the location is a bit far from center, but take taxi is only cost around 30RMB

Can be better

Spend 6 days in the hotel, the staff was very kind and the location was good with free horse driving to the closer hold town. The bad point was the restaurant in the hotel, we went there to have a dinner but the food was so bad I order the meat from Australia but it was like plastic I called the waiter and they was sorry offer a free drink and ask if I want to change to another course. I finally get the Pullman burger but the meat was not that good also just force myself to eat and went back to the room. They should train better the staff before let them deal with customers.
