Fantastic room, very clean and up-to-date. The staff here is extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff could use a little personality, but maybe that was just because it was the holiday season. I would definitely stay here again!

Schimmel im Bad

Das Bad war mit Schimmel belastet. Die Silikonfugen waren Ekelhaft. Silikonfugen sind Wartungsfugen, das hat bei ACCOR wohl noch niemand begriffen. In einem Ibis wäre das schon schlimm genug. Im 4 Sterne s Hotel Pullmann darf das nicht sein. Zwischen feststehenden Teil und der Schiebetür der Dusche war es einfach nur heftig ungepflegt/ ekelig. In den Ecken im Bad und besonders der Dusche war auch beginnender Schimmel. Im Zimmer ist die Einrichtung in die Jahre gekommen und viele Ecken sind abgestoßen. Die Matratze war sehr gut. Die Temperatur war im Zimmer schlecht zu regeln. Wir hatten die Heizung ausgestellt und trotz offenem Fenster war es sehr warm. Fotos habe ich nicht gemacht. Schade ist auch das diese Umfrage nicht auf Deutsch ist. Wir hatten das Zimmer 530.

Really nice, comfortable, clean room, easy walk to Cologne Cathedral

The stay was overall very good but the room and the toilet was very cold. We had to sleep in the bathrobs because of the cold.

Great location, modern hotel

Great location. 15 mins walk from Koln mainline station, cathedral and the main shopping areas. Modern hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We opted out of breakfast so cannot comment. My bed was harder than I'd prefer, but I was only there for 2 nights. My roommate felt it was ok however.

Where to start. From the moment we walked in we had a horrible experience. There is to much to say. But I would not recommend this hotel. It’s not 4 star at all. I would say it’s 2 star.

The room was very nice room and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was worth the money.

Another very pleasant stay at Pullman Cologne. Have stayed on previous occasions when visiting family and the rooms and facilities provided always meet expectations.

Disappointing Customer Service

The hotel itself is fine. It’s in a great location, not right on top of the busy streets, but close enough that walking to places of interest is easy. The hotel and rooms we found to very clean and spacious, and the hotel has a bar and restaurant. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant during our stay so cannot comment on these. The staff are what let this hotel down. Apart from one cleaner, Amin, who was kind and so helpful. Going above and beyond to help us in the unfortunate circumstance we found ourselves in during our time in Cologne. We are very grateful to him. Of course, we can only comment on our own experience, but we found the staff at reception to be rude and dismissive. When you have a problem, you do expect staff at this level of accommodation to at the very least take time to listen to you and try to offer help or advice, but unfortunately they saw fit to be quite rude. This is such a disappointment and not the experience we had hoped for. The customer service here really needs so work.

Unable to have breakfast on Satursday due to how busy it was. Saturday evening couldn't get room service daughter was asleep due to how busy they were and Sunday no water pressure for bath or shower.

Hotel was central location to Xmas markets. It was quiet. Hotel was a bit tired and shower did not drain and leaked on to floor. Breakfast hall very busy at the weekend and took ages to be seated. We tried to use the sky bar after being out all day but turned away as too busy as people not staying in hotel can use this. We had a dirty glass in room, I took it to reception and was told to get one from ten restaurant, I was on my way out so did not bother.

Good Stay

Good stay, room a bit smaller than expected. Breakfast very good. Location is on edge of town centre, with shopping street round the corner so convenient for that.

Generally the hotel is very good but I have stayed once or twice a year for the last 25 years and still they ask me to fill in my details on a check-in form every time I stay!!

Another excellent stay

Another stay at Pullman didn't disappoint. We make regular trips to visit family and the Pullman has always provided excellent and convenient accommodation for our stays. Comfort and amenities excellent and situation provides access to good transport links.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, nice room with a view towards the Cologne Cathedral/Dom, staff friendly, out and about in the vicinity, again clean and orderly, people were very respectful and even in the busiest areas around Cologne, there was a quiet and peacefulness, which was reflected in how relaxed everyone was, thankfully no loud, brash or disrespectful people, with their shirts off, yes I’m British, we could learn a thing or two, there’s much more to Germany than I imagined, I would return to the Pullman Hotel, I hear that have a sister hotel in Munich, which I will visit to sample Bavaria.

Well located hotel in the center of Cologne , who needs renovation .

The property had no problems at all, I stayed for a week and everything was perfect had bar stocked everyday, had room cleaning service every morning and come back looking clean and tidy. Friendly staff in all areas of the building. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend and go back again when next time I visit

We loved the proximity to Hbf, and the courteous nature of the staff.

We upgraded to a deluxe room. Lovely room, minibar and coffee pods replenished every day, we had a half board option and the food in the brasserie was excellent as were the staff working there.

Spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Great location. Rooms are clean. Big terrace. Nice view. Comfortable bed. Only downside, is blow dryer wasn't working but they provided another and some scratches on the furniture.

The room is very nice and spacious, facing the cathedral so the view is fantastic. Rooms are very clean and well maintained everyday with good minbar supplies. Located in a very quiet neighborhood yet very close to many restaurants and shops. Walkable to the train station. We enjoyed the separate living room space as well.

the tap is bad condition and hard to open it. The cleaner cleaned the room in the moring before check out and throuhg the bag with stuff away. That is really ridiculous.

This hotel is situated well enough so you may walk tot the Dom and various other attractions. Many restaurants to choose from a short distance away.

Excellent location, walkable to Cathedral and shopping. Free mini bar drinks much appreciated - juice, beer and water. Shower is very challenging - glass door on tub, the floor will be wet, tight space and long high step down to floor.

Air condition did not work and the room was very warm. Door missing in shower cabin. But breakfast was good and perfect location to explore the city.

Comfortable bed, helpful staff…the AC didn’t really work well, but it was such a quiet area that we were able to keep the window open.

Nice, new hotel in very central location! The breakfast is awesome. Also the room has an expresso machine with different types of coffee, hot water boiler. And free mini bar inside with fruit juice, wine and water. We just love it!

Very nice hotel away from the bustle of the markets. The staff were very friendly and the room was a good size. The free mini bar was an added bonus. Only disappointment was that the roof bar was closed. Would have been good to see the skyline at night.

We asked for and received a great recommendation for a local brew pub when we checked in. The lady at the front desk gave us clear directions and clearly marked the location on a paper map she provided for us. Room was clean and we loved the heated bathroom floor.

Nice hotel with nice large room. Temperature was too hot to sleep. Also did not know the Cologne marathon was going on right next to hotel in morning and we could not park at hotel and get out in the morning. We were told to park at a parking garage about 5 minutes away but it too was right on marathon route and we had to beg to be let out and then escorted away from the marathon route. Very stressful end to our stay!

It was pretty standard. Nice view but not so nice area. Hotel staff didn’t make much conversation. No snacks. The bedding was not the best and they gave me 2 small comforters to cover the bed. Also I got bites and itchy skin.

Sommerpause der Rooftop Bar

Alles bestens nur die Sommerpause der Rooftop Bar und die frühe Schließung der Hotelbar gegen 23h war beim Besuch über ein Wochenende unangenehm überraschend. In der Bar gab es dann jedoch noch einen Longdrink, so hat das freundliche Personal die Situation entschärft und gerettet.

Easy and comfortable

I was so impressed with this hotel, from the welcome to the quality and comfort of the room. It is very well located - 12 mins to the Cathedral and 8 mins to Neumarkt. The team paid attention to any pre-arrival requests and I would very happily return, and likely will do.

Walkable to museums and attractions. Nice hotel. Parking underground for a fee, 15 euro.

Slightly to the west of Cologne city center, this property is nice and quiet, with comfortable rooms and a lovely spa area (albeit not always open). Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping in the area.

Good business hotel with nice gym and spa area. Unfortunately the roof bad is currently closed. Great quiet location.

The Pullman is a centrally located property with a strong staff and nice facilities. It is showing a bit of wear and tear. I have visited Cologne many times over the past 8 years, staying at this property for months on year. The check in process (room avail) was a bit slow this time and the number of group tour members slowed it down more. I am sure securing enough staffing in housekeeping and front desk presents issues but there should be a dedicated tour check in agent and more cleanign staff to turn rooms around faster.

Wonderful hotel with helpful staff. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Two free bottles of water left in our room everyday was a nice touch. Breakfast was good with many choices. Hotel was centrally located, only 15 minute walk from the Cathedral. Overall, great hotel with excellent service.

Nice stay in Cologne

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and large with a great shower, and the hotel was not much more than a 10-minute walk from the Rhine and heart of the city center. Would recommend!
