Bedroom’s need to be updated, we asked to be moved after 2 nights as we could smell the mattress which wasn’t pleasant. Towels need to be replaced as some were old and discoloured. Only saving quality was the staff who were so friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel

Lovely staff. Good facilities. Nice location. Public areas are slightly "tired" and could do with refresh.

It was a perfectly fine place to stay, within walking distance of some great restaurants and right next to the beach. This is a great place for families.

Average stay in average hotel

Pullman Legian Beach was just average. Booked the one bedroom suite for 2A+2K which 'sleeps 4', only to find it contains only 1 bed and no sofa lounge, so would need to pay ~US$50 per night per rollaway which seems excessive based on hotel rooms in the area. The room was a bit rundown, the floor polish worn off for instance and had an odd smell you noticed when first entering. The balcony was large, but essentially unusable with no furniture. The grounds and garden are nice, pool is relatively small for the size of the hotel, and the infinity pool is adults only. All in all, the stay was ok, but for the price there are much better value hotels in the area which are either cheaper or provide a better experience. I wouldn't stay here again.

The Pullman hotel in Legian is the perfect place to relax and unwind in tranquil settings with excellent amenities and spacious rooms. The hotel staff are very attentive and the duty manager Joko Hendrik went out of his way to ensure all our needs were met and his attention to detail was very much appreciated. Will definitely tell friends and family to stay here as not only are all the facilities fantastic but also the location is perfect and walking distance to everything.

Beautiful property with lots of space and great amenities. Felt very relaxed just what you want when on holidays.

Filthy, Mouldy Rooms, poor quality

Room was not as advertised. Filthy room, dead cockroach left in room after being cleaned. Mouldy smell and mould on walls. 3 star quality but charge 5 star price. Moved rooms 3 times, never did see the room that was advertised. Bed was hard, aircon not great. MANY people complaining, poor example of what PULLMAN SHOULD BE. Management dismissive, hallways filty with cockroaches laying in hallways. Very unclean. Reception and community areas look good, but rooms in poor quality. Apparently these rooms have been recently "refreshed", but furniture was mouldy, table poorly painted to seem updated. Food and beverages HIGHLY overpriced.

The service at this hotel was incredible. The location is absolutely perfect, just far enough away from Kuta but still easy access to shopping and entertainment. All in all, an amazing holiday made so by the hotel staff and amenities. We will be back!

Old and rundown, a lot of rooms are being renovated so lots of noise, if you want peace and quiet don’t book this hotel, it’s not up to Pullman standards, food is average, overcrowded, kids making noise, area around hotel is dirty and smells, fireworks till 9pm every night. I didn’t enjoy my stay and will never return.

Best place to be. Breakfast was amazing the only thing that i concerned was chlorine in swimming pool. It was high.

This property was old, our room had poor facilities. not as described on the website. Very disappointed with the suite I booked. Not really a suite it was connecting rooms and lounge area only had a couch in it. no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities. these were in bedroom. Would not recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff and very helpful when making a request for anything needed in our room. Where our room was located it was very quiet and looking out at a grassed area, did not make us in a crowded area. Would definitely recommend the Resort to friends

Beautiful gardens great pools ocean view room with large balcony enjoyed the view. Breakfast was excellent Unfortunately check in was a disaster, no welcome drink arrived at 12.30 told we could get room at 2pm check in is 3pm didn't get in until 4pm would come back .

Great location, but the pool area was very poor the kids pool was for babies, the main pool was very small for the amount of units just not a nice tranquil area to relax at all, they have so much space to have a beautiful lagoon pool its a shame as thats the biggest let down.

Martha in housekeeping on 5th floor was very professional and knowledgeable. He was outstanding. He deserves a recognition for his outstanding customer service. Good location across from the beach, close enough and far enough from the noise of Kuta. Breakfast buffet is very good, but busy at peak times. Staff have a great attitude. Rooms are made up well every day although the rooms themselves are showing some age. We were on top (5th) floor and got intermittent drain smells. The beachfront properties in general suffer from this as the area becomes a victim of it's own success and I guess as the infrastructure struggles. Yes we would stay here again, but in reality would probably head up to Canguu which is still a slightly quieter and more relaxed than Kuta/ Seminyak.

Stayed with family, very happy with all the facilities and staff

I have been to this hotel multiple times. The staff is friendly and the location is great. It overlooks the beach. You can walk to markets, shops and restaurants within 5 mins which is very convenient. The breakfast is great. A good little gym. However, the hotel is a bit worn down and needs a make over. The floors in the rooms are tarnished and scratched and showers have a smell now and then and the water is mostly cold. If you have a late flight out, and need to use the guess facilities after your checkout, be prepared the shower facilities (there is only one for ladies) is terrible with an overwhelming pungent smell and block shower drain. Not equipped as you would expect for a hotel like the Pullman.

Not impressed with the service. Being at the kids pool, not once did anyone come around to offer drink service or clean up dirty cups and plates. 4-5 staff standing at the bar doing nothing instead. They would often run out of towels and had no sense of urgency to get new ones, had to wait over an hour on occasions for a towel! We asked the bar for an ice bucket and was told to call room service from our room on level 4. Few other instances where service was an after thought and quite disappointed being a reputable hotel. We have stayed at multiple Bali hotels where the service is above and beyond! Also got a suite room so our 2 year old could sleep in next room once I set up the baby monitor and noise machine I turned the main light off which then turned off all the power to the room which they said is the way it’s wired and can’t do anything, no point in suite really! Overall not impressed and won’t be back

I had a wonderful Oceanview .

The property is getting a bit dated, the wardrobes were creaky and the backboard of one of them fell down when we opened it. The supposedly white towels were more grey and the buttons on the safe worked when the felt like, which was very frustrating. The hotel is in a very good location with plenty of places to eat etc. within easy walking distance.

Looking old , bar prices way to high for Bali

The property is becoming dated the dining room is hot busy and disorganised. The saving grace for this hotel is the location and the magnificent views from the ocean view rooms level 5 where we always stay. The price is very reasonable for ocean view. The furniture in the dining area is outdoor plastic furniture and looks shabby. Anyway we will be back to take in those amazing sunsets from the balcony and to be treated like royalty by the amazing staff. House keeping rarely get a mention but here they are awesome well done people. Mantrap.

Check into our room took a long time after a long flight. I booked a room with two single beds, another room wasn’t available. They eventually just joined the two beds. The room it’s self had a strong month ball smell.

I moved from another hotel which actually was a lot cheaper and was really surprised by the poor quality of such a great brand so sorry to say I would not return to your hotel. First of all you put me in a garden first floor, smelly room, which I hate it and asked to be moved. It took so long to do that and it really spoilt my stay at Pullman’s. This is not an amazing place to be and you can get a lot nicer space for a lot less money. It just won’t be on the beach that being on the beach here is nothing special because you’re not really on the beach your way from the beach I said it won’t return to Pullman’s in a hurry

Garden area was really nicely maintained with a few hammocks where you could relax. The hotel was on the doorstep of the sea and the view out at sea was wonderful!

Great staff and facilities

This hotel is in a great spot - close to everything and two lovely pools that we could always find a sunlounger at. It's in need of quite a bit of TLC as it's getting older. For a five star hotel I would have expected slightly better service/facilities. For example the clean towels we got in our room were quite stained, there were tiles that needed replacing in both pools etc. The room we were in had a lovely view off the balcony of the ocean/sunset however as it was facing the road it was extremely loud. It was worse at night as the cars/bikes sped down the road making it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper you would definitely need to ask for a room facing the gardens.

Great location Very clean friendly staff

The Pullman Legian is in a great location, opposite beach, central to dining, shopping and transport. Staff were excellent. We found the hotel to be quite noisy 24/7 - rooms are not very soundproof at all and can hear all comings and goings at all hours. Cleanliness was okay within the rooms. I think the hotel was overpriced for what it was.

It was a beautiful air conditioned hotel with friendly staff that all have a beautiful smile constantly Expansive buffet breakfast. I would go to this hotel again and highly recommend it to my friends and family

The hotel was very nice. Right in front of the beach and a block away from azul beach club. It has an infinite pool in floor 3 where tou can see the sunset,very beautiful. The rooms are huge and very clean. Staff was super nice. I recommend this hotel 💯.

Great value and an above expectation experience

Loved the Pullman Hotel. It delivered and above expectation experience for us. Well catered, lots of activities and great size rooms for our family of 4. People in the hotel and very friendly and happy to help. A bit slow in the restaurant, but who cares when you are on a holiday. :) Great place overall and amazing value for money.

Stayed here for 8 nights. Room was good, spacious with lovely view of beach. Room was tidied daily, but occasionally there was rubbish left on floor and the balcony was not cleaned or tidied. If aircon wasnt left on, the room smelt musty. On one night, i was woken by loud banging which became unrelentless, with fists banging on the door and the doorbell being rung incessantly. Im sure the whole floor was awoken wirh the person banging and yelling (a person's name) to be let in. This continued for several minutes despite me telling them they had the wrong room! No sign of hotel security or even acknowledgement by the hotel of any annoyance. The rooftop, adults only, pool area was nice, however there were children allowed in the pool. Room is very spacious and the view is absolutely amazing. However, there were a few insects (5max) decided to give you a visit. It’ll be even better if the hotel could keep the insects out of the room if you’re afraid insects.

The staff members are obviously left to behave as they see fit. Bring on the mobile phone at the front desk is NOT A professional look. The staff took my passport and kept it, till I realized he didn’t returned it to me. Upon asking, he pulled it out from as m insecure drawer and apologised. This should not have happened.

I found the stuff at the front desk not knowledgable and somewhat rude. the dining room staff was good. I just think the food could’ve been better and again the staff more knowledgeable.

This hotel is conveniently located just across the road from the beach and within easy reach of local restaurants and bars. Dinner in the hotel was themed differently each evening. The rooms were large and clean. The staff could not do enough to accommodate you. Overaul, a lovely four night stay and I would recommend this hotel.

Pool wasn’t great

The hotel is old and rooms overdue for update. My room was large, but knocked about with a damp musty smell that didn’t go away. I sprayed a tonne of perfume just to feel less agitated, but the smell was too strong. Room service was took 40 mins to arrive, however the food was good quality.

The shower drain had a smell of sewerage for the first 60 seconds until it gets washed away every time. The mosquitos were unbearable. The food quality and choice was outstanding. I particularly liked their breakfast buffet. Dinner night buffet was excellent too.

Great location and friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned daily. The infinity pool was awesome, a beautiful sunset to experience. We also enjoyed the wonderful live music played by a saxophonist. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Infinity pool very pleasant but difficult for the elderly to get out of pool without rail. Poor selection of cheese at breakfast.

Check in was slow and not very accommodating for an early check in. In fact check in was delayed we had to wait half hour after check in time to have a room. Ask for a welcome drink drink at 11am as we we thirsty but was told sorry they will not serve welcome drink until close to check in time if we want a drink we need to purchase else where! Otherwise Good service and breakfast.

The room was not clean upon my arrival. When asked about replacing sheets that had blood on them from prior guests they made all sorts of excuses and took them 5HOURS to REPLACE sheets 😢

Staff were excellent in all areas. Got a sea view room and the view from the 5th floor was magnificent. The rooms are a little old and need some maintenance in some places. But overall I was happy and would stay again

We had a wonderful time with my family here for about 9 nights. Pretty much everything was amazing and we felt well taken care of. In particular shout-out to Ibu Ari who was always there to take care of our needs especially at breakfast, be it an extra coffee served piping hot or chat with our kids. Also shoutout to bapak seni who checked us in and ensured we were comfortable with our suite. A few things that stood out in our stay were 1) Kids club - our kids had a great time there, and we got a chance to have some shopping time. 2) The Breakfast - ton of dining options and pretty much most of it is so good, especially the made to order omlettes and the Indian corner. 3) The location - is right on the beach with testaurants, mall and even cinema in walking distance. 4) The staff - everyone we talked was great and always smiling. 5) Our room - it was BIG with an extra room overlooking the garden :) All in all highly recommend this place.

Great infinity pool for adults only, breakfast great, staff friendly, on the other side, although I understand Bali was effected by Covid little things needed a improvement, no hot water, dripping shower, loose toilet seat, sink tap spraying everywhere, old towels, stained greyish bathrobes and a damp smell, are not 5 star, these are all easy and cheap to fix, and should have been done prior to our arrival, hotel did put right within 24hrs, but this should be reported by housekeeping not me.

Great hotel, but definitely not 5* towels, bath robes stained and grey, rooms in need of refurbishment quite dated, little details which should be seen to in a 5* like shower not working properly, toilets seat loose, sink tap blocked, kettle not working, all quickly mended, but should have been checked prior. Staff lovely, breakfast great, lovely adults only pool on roof, overall great holiday.

This hotel need to have their 5 star rating taken away. The rooms are dirty and STINK like putrid mould. The staff were great at trying to accommodate with what theyre given as they cant control the condition of the smelly rooms to a certain extent and swapped our room twice to make sure we were given the newer fresher room. For a 5 star hotel the rooms are dirty with mould, grime, hair and dirty showers. Would not stay again.

The main issue was that there was a strong damp smell in the room. This is clearly a known issue to the hotel and I’m very disappointed that they would still sell the room.

Our room on the ground floor was so cold. If we raised the aircon setting it became so damp. We had to ask for doonas!!!!

The property has lovely gardens and nice pool areas. Our room upon arrival was dirty and had an awful smell, We requested a room change and it was granted immediately. A group of people arrived on day 4 of our trip and took over the infinity pool so no-one else could use it. The music was so loud it could be heard up the street. We and others asked for the music to be turned down and eventually it was but only for a short period. Staff need to manage poorly behaved guests better. Other than these things the accommodation was nice and in walking distance to everything.

Great staff. But it is obviously needs better management. The check in took ages. Only one staff on checkin. The room though large was in poor condition very worn and tired. The hotel despite only being 12 to 14 years old is crying out for a major renovation. The deck pool and gym were great and well managed.breakfast was good. But the one evening buffet we had was limited and poor selection. I normally pick pullmans for good management and facilities. This one failed. I wont be back. But despite it all the staff were pleasant and courteous
