Clean modern rooms, friendly host with a well equipped communal kitchen for breakfast. Our preferred accommodation in Twizel.

Large clean rooms with a shared kitchen facility. Must drive into town (Twizel, 5 min) for restaurants.

We loved staying here. Very quiet, owners are wonderful. Kitchen available to cook in for dinner. Breakfast provided in the morning, eggs available to cook yourself, cereal, yogurt and even had GF bread available. Grocery store very close drive. Owners were easy to correspond with before stay.

Great base to explore Aoraki Mt Cook, Mary, the owner was friendly and gave good information about the area: Twizel, Mt Cook, she has a good taste of decor. Spacious room, mini fridge, guest lounge, self service complimentary breakfast, wide open space (located on the airfield, but no noise at night). this lodge has great view of mountains. I loved everything. I would stay again if I come back to this area.

Great Views!

This place has it all going for it. Super modern feel and the comfort to match. This place is beautifully kept and the wife and I felt right at home here. The staff was super nice and the breakfast that they offered was top notch. This place gets all top scores and we can't rave about it enough. We didn't really want to leave the views and the comfort of this place!

Amazing views, really comfortable room, loved it.

We had a great stay at Pukaki lodge. The room is clean and spacious with sets of sofa. Mary, the owner, is very friendly and gave us tips on visiting Mt Cook national park. The breakfast is basic, but tasty and does the job. The view from the room is great.

Amazing hotel!

Amazing service and stunning views in the perfect location!

Glorious stay, through and through! Unique hotel situated right on the airstrip with a clear view of the mountain range. Beautiful sunsets. Clear starry skies Perfect way to end your day hiking by Mt Cook. Also we even plans take off and land (even saw a skydiver coast down). The owners are so welcoming. They showed us the hanger with their restored historic plane. The rooms and large and beautifully decorated. Modern bathrooms. Comfortable beds made for a great sleep. Wonderful breakfast and great send off. We cannot get over how wonderful of a stay we had.

Great Host, the room was super clean and the bathrooms were brand new. Bed was comfortable and use of the kitchen was great!

A very beautiful and interesting place to stay

We were welcomed by Mary who was very helpful and informative. Our room was very large, clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. There was plenty for breakfast with a good variety. We had a great view from outside our room. It overlooked the airstrip with a great view of Mount Cook in the distance. We saw Mary’s husband on departure and he kindly took the time to show us his aircraft inside their hangar which was amazing. The only downside we found was the wifi was very slow but overall it was a very peaceful and interesting place and we really enjoyed our stay.

Fun to stay near an active airport runway. Very friendly hosts who made you feel at home.

Pukaki air lodge is exclusively positioned near the shores of Lake pukaki and literally next to the airport runway is the most spectacular scenery in the area.. This place is designed to maximize the panoramic views of the mountains and the most beautiful sunsets.. Our hosts Mary and her partner are so kind and warm, and gave us access to the communal kitchen for all needs and necessities.. Highly recommended staying here..

Mary's property is lovely! It was exactly what we were after it was so cosy and their hospitality was amazing!

Great little spot

Great stay! Great little place, very quiet and private with unique views across the air field. Staff were very nice and breakfast was a welcome surprise. Fairly priced, I would stay again without hesitation

I had a wonderful experience here. The place was super clean and nice, and the staff was amazing. I got there later than expected, and after hours, but the service was still amazing.

Great stay

Great comfortable rooms! Checkin was very easy and accommodating.

This property is very unique because it’s located directly adjacent to the air strip. You get to watch planes, biplanes, helicopters and gyrocopters take off and land right from your room and within 100 meters.

Amazing place! Loved it. The location was fabulous and the hosts lovely. The room was great too. Comfortable bed, modern amenities, tremendous stargazing. All around excellent.

Just perfect

Excellent hotel without any noise from the airport. Brilliant kitchen to allow doing breakfast and wonderful view of the mountain The room also is big and clean.

The hospitality of Mary and the beautiful location of Pukaki Air Lodge has been much better than our expectation. Could not have asked for anything more in our stay. Mary went out of her way to help us in our itinerary and dinner suggestions. Pukaki Air Lodge has been one of the highlights of our stay. Thank You Mary.

Die Pukaki Air Lodge ist super in der Nähe zum Mount Cook gelegen. Alles ist sehr neu in der Unterkunft, die Zimmer sind groß und sehr modern und es wird an die kleinen Details gedacht. Man hat im Zimmer einen kleinen Kühlschrank und kann ansonsten auch die Gemeinschaftsküche nutzen. Tolles Konzept mit Frühstücksangebot in der Küche zum selber machen. Sehr nette Besitzerin. Von der Terrasse hat man einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den Mount Cook und auch auf die Start- und Landebahn des kleinen Flughafens, dort landen ab und zu einige der kleinen Flugzeuge und Helikopter für die Freizeitaktivitäten in der Region. Einziges Manko: das Internet war sehr schlecht und langsam. Am besten man hat eigenes Datenvolumen. Dennoch: ganz klare Empfehlung für eine Unterkunft in der Mount Cook Region!

Très grande chambre décorée avec goût et très propre dans un lodge comportant 5 chambres le tout dans un petit aérodrome. A disposition une grande cuisine pour se préparer les repas. Wifi gratuit. Très bon accueil des hôtes.

Très grande chambre avec très grande baie vitrée, grande salle de bain. Cuisine commune où vous avez tout pour vous préparer un bon repas. Très calme, la nuit nous avons vu la pleine lune qui brillait comme un phare de voiture ! Idéal pour faire les randonnées au Mont Cook.

마운트 쿡과 테카포 호수에서 약 1시간 가량 떨어져 있습니다. 주변에 건물이 없어서 고요하며 전망은 확트인 평야와 산을 볼 수 있었습니다.
