It was terrific! I like the property, especially the freebies provided. It is quiet and near to the transport and shopping area. The receptionist was accommodating and well-mannered.

Don't waste your time and money is all I've got to say.

I was disappointed when we unlocked the door to our apartment and a pungent smell of curry permeated throughout the whole apartment. I went down to reception and let them know, they were very apologetic and gave us a new apartment. The ladies at reception were fabulous!

Staff were very friendly. Location was great, underground parking available. Rooms were a bit small but comfy. We had a rattle from the wind all night, but view was nice. lots of food options nearby, mall with cinemas right next door and bus stops very close.

The best point about this property is its proximity to shopping and dining options. Its also very convenient to be able to do laundry in your room. Everything we need is provided so this is always our go-to property when in Auckland.

Direct Bus to Airport and well-appointed rooms

After a long flight, it was welcoming to be greeted by friendly staff and relax in a clean, comfortable room. The kitchen included a microwave, hob and utensils and the hotel was close to supermarkets and shops and only a 5-minute walk from Manukau station, which is on the Airport Bus route.

We stayed two nights while in Auckland for a convention. It was great having kitchen facilities but also being super close to the shopping centre and lots of eating options. Super close to the due drop convention centre where we spent the days. The reception staff were lovely and great with communication.

Good service. Close to shops. Would recommend and stay here again.

Great place with well sized rooms.

Central and ideal location to shopping centre, food mall, supermarket, coffee bars, banks.All within 5 mins walking distance.

Have stayed here before which is how we landed here again! LOVE the shower pressure, the comfy beds and the washer and drier combo. Went home with clean dry clothes. Best thing was the wahine who checked me in. She was awesome. Warm approachable and kind.

Perfect spot next to the Airport

Booked this spot bc I had an early AM flight out of AKL the next day, and I got way more than expected. The rooms are truly apartments. My room had a washer AND a dryer, which was worth the money alone, as I was able to do all my laundry before flying out. Front desk was super helpful too.

Internet was not working to very slow

Great location, just across a shopping mall and less than 5- minute walk to bus and train station. Room is clean and comfortable, and with full kitchen and bathroom facilities (oven, cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, washing machine…) Not new or newly renovated, but functional.

Staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Right location of room. So good that we booked again in April.

In the heart of Manukau City. Easy access to shops, motorway and airport.

The toilet bowl has permanent brown stains on the bottom which was disgusting. A few mould stains around the skirting of the shower. Upon checking in the accommodation required a Bank Credit card (no debit or other credit card) to hold for any incidentals although they had already deducted the first nights accomodation from my debit card prior to me checking in that day which I found weird. The accommodation was ok, it had a balcony and was close to the Westfield Mall.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nice room and great location

The proximity was on point

The weather was amazing and the proximity to the bus station, the mall and the light rail station was fantastic. The lobby smelled so good it was so welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I always love everything about my stay except for the parking. I have a overheight vehicle(van) and i always have to pay 4 parking and move it because it because it cant fit in your 12 dollar parking,this is the only thing that interrupts my stay. Very annoying if you can please cater for overheight vehicles please. Thanks

Time-Out

Have stayed there before and will stay there again. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable rooms including kitchenette. Secure covered carpark available for a small charge. So handy to Manukau facilities including eateries. Walking distance to the Bus Station and Train Station. Easy access to the airport by bus, taxi or car. Easy access to the Southern and South Western Motorways. This is on the flight path to Auckland Airport which some people will say is noisy but my kids just love - who needs a TV ?? Thanks Proximity..

I absolutely lobed my stay lobed the view enjoyed everything except when i first arrived i was being delt with by a lovely women then got irritated when another women just stormed in and took over and then they were both telling me what to do at the same time. I complained to the 1st lady that the 2nd was very improfessional and very rude. OTHER than that i will go again.

Like access to shopping and transport, tidy modern apartment, easy check in and parking. Safe and secure. Didn't like returning home.

Compact unit - but has everything as stated. Located adjacent to the Westfield- very handy. Washer and dryer in the unit with a couple of complimentary sachets of washing powder- great to tide me over. Close to airport. Staff friendly, helpful, welcoming. A good choice.

We stay here every time we return to Auckland. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Location close to motorway and across street from westfields. Bedding so comfortable with very clean apartments. Just need to fix the broken window panel on balcony and clean the windows often not pleasant to look at i keep curtains closed.

Granddaughter visit

Due to changes circumstances we ended up staying here 9 nights - with 2 units booked for the first two nights so the whole family could fit. This is in a multi-storied apartment complex and is adjacent to Manukau Westfield Mall and 5-minutes walk from Manukau Train Station and Bus Station. There is secure parking in the basement with lift access. We have the 2-bedroom delux apartment. It is compact but has everything we need and fantastic views. Staff are friendly and helpful. These units are on the pricey side but I feel is value for money when you look at the location, the comfort, the friendly staff and the fantastic views.

Lovely stay as usual

Try to get a bed here every time we come to Auckland... The shower pressure was very low this time and the heat pump was making noise... we had to turn it off to sleep and then woke up as the room got too hot...

I want to thank the lovely Māori or Pacific woman who checked us in. She was absolutely amazing and very helpful. Truly hospitable and great customer service. Hotel is in a great location and the studio room truly exceeded my expectations. Bed was so comfy and modern. Shower temperature and pressure was amazing! Worth every cent. I would totally go there again. Also appreciated all staff i came across and communicated with prior and during our stay, so pleasant to deal with and so willing to go above and beyond. I felt so well looked after. Keep up the great work!

Check in was so simple and easy with friendly staff. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom door was abit loose with a gap but otherwise everything was absolutely awesome!

Very disappointed booked and paid for a Deluxe Apartment and the Apartment we got given was certainly not Deluxe ( stained carpet and lounge wrong Pillow cases, poor internet service. Won’t be staying there again.

Good location, however apartment needs a thorough clean….. not just quick surface clean…. It was disgusting and would not recommend this property.

This property is very tired looking and the room was past it’s “use by date”. It has everything you need but it’s a bit on the rough side for the price. Also it has an extremely and unusually small shower cubicle - if you’re heavy set or tall, this is not for you.

Located literally across the carpark from the mall and with many eateries at your doorstep this hotel has the perfect location. Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. My room had a closed in balcony which was unexpected but I loved it. And in the morning i could watch the sunrise from my room. The room was great, very clean and tidy and a good size. I would have loved to stay longer and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended

Disappointed

Very run down and tired, pica inline need to be updated shower very small

When I first saw the apartment I was disappointed however it grew on me during my stay. It has seen better days. Cleanliness was an issue. The toilet was dirty and stained, there was a lot of dust and marks on the walls, dirty windows, the couch was filthy and needs replacing. But, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets clean, it was very quiet and the location was perfect for what we needed with the mall a 1 minute walk. The sunrise from the balcony was great. So other than an issue with cleaning (room wasn’t serviced by cleaners during entire time) we had a good stay.

The property was clean and easy to get to. It is located near a Westfield mall. The staff at reception were very nice. Overall, it was a good stay for my visitors. Thanks for your service.

Our stay at the Proximity Apartments was excellent. Would definitely stay there again. Found the apartment had everything we needed, was clean and tidy and close to the shopping centre.

Really enjoyed my overnight stay, 24hr reception, room was very clean, and balcony was nice to use after a long day of travelling. Little recommendation, to have a jug in the cupboard to fill with water and chill in the bar fridge as there was no cold water to drink. Will stay there again

Issue when checking in, booked for adult and 2 children aged 12 & 13 and room provided did not include adequate bedding so I was surprised with an additional cost for a rollaway bed that I would've thought should have been included in my quoted price since I indicated how many guests while booking. Bathrooms not the cleanest, grime on shower doors etc and smelled awful.

Was able to leave all our bags at reception after an early morning flight arrival. At check in time all our bags had been delivered to our room. Very helpful staff.

Awesome friendly clean place to stay

Basic, clean, comfortable but LOUD

Overall the place was what I expected---basic but clean and comfy. The main issue is that it is right next to a very loud bar/club that apparently blasts music out for the entire neighborhood. I just find it ironic that there was a huge emphasis on guests being quiet/observing noise concerns and there's this ridiculously loud bar basically next door. I was 8 floors up.

Nice apartment hotel

Nice apartments, we had a two bedroom corner apartment. Comfortable and well equipped. It had 3 balconies including an indoor one which was nice. A bit noisy from the neighbouring mall bar but handy at the same time. Good parking, extra charge but wasn’t too bad. Overall very good accommodation.

A clean, well kept property that was relaxing and had everything needed. Friendly and communicative front desk staff.

Bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. Scuff marks on most walls. When i turned the heat pump on it has a strong smell of curry.. Bathroom smelt funny. Was expensive for what it really was.
