It was basic , the shower leaked so all the towels we had was used to mop the floor up , the bed side lights didn’t work , and you have to turn the main light on to use the bathroom light , so if someone’s in bed , you wake them up aswell in the night , the door to the balcony was broke. The fire alarm went off whilst we stayed and the cleaner said don’t worry it’s a false alarm , so initially didn’t fret but then decided we should go downstairs to find everyone else had evacuated , the reception team were brilliant , from start to finish .
This hotel was great! Not too expensive, good facilities and the bike rentals were very convenient. Only odd thing was there was a slight odor in the bathroom whenever we walked in. It wasn’t pungent or anything but it was noticeable.
Great stay in Copenhagen with a good price. Few minutes walk to nice parks and food markets.
Had a great stay here lovely breakfast and comfortable room. Reception staff very friendly and pleasant
Ideal for Copenhagen getaway
Service from the reception and breakfast staff lovely, rooms didn't top up from essentials like water and coffee regularly, just a small thing. Overall impressions were good. Breakfast was just what you need, and staff service stood out. Good value and ideal to explore Copenhagen as near metros buses and trains
Great location, staff are very nice
Overall good stay
Check in and check out was smooth with very friendly staff. The room is great. Their sustainability effort is definitely appreciated. Their choice of toiletries is one of the best so far that I have tried from everywhere. It is in a good location. Good vantage point from transport and food options. However, where my room was situated the WiFi wasn’t working most of the time. It keeps getting disconnected, asked for it to be sorted on my last night but was still the same.
Great location to explore København
Great location, excellent breakfast and staff were so friendly and helpful
Nice sized family room with free water and tea and coffee facilities but no fridge.Good location about 10 mins walk from the central station and 5 mins from Tivoli Gardens. There was a bad smell when we entered the room coming from the sink probably because there's a problem with the drains but as soon as we used the water it was ok.
Great collection, right next to Tivoli Gardens. Room was spacious and cosy. Breakfast was great, lots of choices
Overall, good one. However, the room for 3 people is a bit small.
Close to the main station. Nice staff. Good breakfast
Great Hotel
Nice room with a balcony. Staff was super nice and helpful.
Very Good value in downtown Copenhagen -
Very good value for Copenhague. The room was larger than I expected (previous times in Copenhagen I'd always been shocked on how small the rooms were). Excellent breakfast.
WiFi barely worked, had to sit in the lobby to work, hotel responded to me asking for a wake up call with its 2024, no water pressure in the showers let alone space yo move, you sit in the toilet at a80 degree angle. If it wasn’t for the maid and Janus I’d leave 1 star.
Nice hotel
Good experience overall. However, walls are paper thin so was kept awake by kids in next room. A good nights sleep (kind of the point of a hotel) was not had. Great breakfast buffet, but the hotel only offers tiny side plates, meaning everyone has to do make multiple trips creating a lot of congestion.... not rocket science to figure this out guys!!!
All I can say it was an excellent service, and the staff the best. Highly recommend😁
my room is quite small
Convenient for city center
Convenient for city center, small rooms, nice breakfast.
Good location & breakfast. Super soft mattress
Discomfort mattress
Very nice hotel, great location
A little walk to things that mattered but that's okay. Two beds are close together! Shower should only be operated by folks that know origami - seriously it's tight. It's okay.
The man who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful, but the hotel was in a strange location that didn’t feel entirely safe. The room was small, but clean enough. The hotel is very close to the train tracks and thus very noisy.
Very expensive parking. Wifi often didn’t work. Room small. Good location, clean.
Very small rooms
Service was great!
The employees at the front desk James was awesome and employees that were in the kitchen and buffet were wonderful and been over backwards. I hope everybody all them did. It was so wonderful experience.
Hotel room was amazing just what we needed for 3 days away, beds were very comfy and staff came in and cleaned while we were out, bathroom was great only downside was there was a smell coming from the drain but did go away after a while. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were really welcoming and attentive and helped us with any queries about the area. Train station was a 2 minute walk away and the town centre and Tivoli are a 10 minute walk from the hotel. It was a real life saver to leave our bags here after check out before our flight.
Good location and pleasant room, with average facilities. No air con or fans in room, so they can get very warm quickly!
Really nice and helpful staff, even before we arrived. The location is on a main street in an uninteresting part of downtown. Walk to metro and coffee places is about 5 minutes, 10 min to main train station. The room could use a bit of maintenance but was comfortable enough. Two doors open onto a balcony that overlooks a courtyard between buildings, and the doors really helped cool the room during an unusual hot period. No problems with noise. The bedroom had two twin beds together (which makes a king), while the sofa bed was the typical spring-frame type. It was worn but not terrible. Adding a mattress topper from the bedroom helped! There were several problems with the bathroom. Mainly the sink was too small, and there is a glass shelf just above the sink. These things made it very difficult to wash face or brush teeth leaning over the sink! It would make more sense to have the shelf beside the sink, or not at all. The strangest part was the folding shower stall, made of two glass doors. It actually worked quite well (no water everywhere) but totally blocked the sink when open. This was another among many weird and dysfunctional shower setups we have encountered. But not the worst!
Disappointed in the hotel. Our “suite “ was basically two sets of double beds across from each other in the same room. There was just a dividing half wall between them. The bathroom could not be used without potentially waking up everyone in the suite. There are no solid doors in the place. So any light turned on lights throughout. No fitness area or other pluses. The noise from the subway is loud and without AC it was uncomfortable. The only plus is it’s a short walk to Tivoli and subway.
Pleasant stay
Small, but comfortable room. No air conditioning, but window opened wide to cool the room off. A lot of road noise, but they had earplugs on the bedside table! I didn't get the hotel breakfast, but it looked quite substantial. I was able to purchase coffee at the hotel desk. The hotel desk staff were efficient, professional, and very welcoming, especially the young lady from Croatia.
We loved the room suites as I went with my son and we were able to have separate sleeping areas and the location was great right near Tivoli and the central train station - making it an ideal spot to get around. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast had a vast array of options - catering for all tastes.
It was a nice hotel, good for the city city break
Nice centrally located. Great breakfast options. Good stay, just too noisy from street traffic and no air conditioning. Overall a good experience.
Good place to stay with family on a city break
Nice hotel and staff friendly. Room small and noisy
A good option, a walk from main station, but not too far and staff were very nice. Some refreshments in room - standards were good. The area outside was for anyone to walk past, even though it was upstairs, but this was not a major issue.
We were able to book a suite for 5 of us which was great. Breakfast was really good. Nice selection for all tastes (cereals, yogurt, fruit, sliced meats, cheese, breads, and more). Appeared to be an older building that was renovated.
Access to everything central. Bike rental facility was great. Mattress pad was a little uncomfortable but the hotel overall is fantastic.
This hotel was spacious and had everything we needed. The only downside was no air conditioning, but there were 2 large doors that opened to a balcony that let in plenty of fresh air.
I liked the breakfast.
Clean, affordable hotel, walkable from most things to see in Copenhagen. Rooms appeared recently updated, though were very much on the small side. They were also sweltering on days with temps in the 60’s. I cannot imagine staying there on warmer days. The only window to open up was a door leading to a shared balcony, which was awkward and seemed unsafe. In order to lock it while open, it was mostly closed with 2 inches remaining open. Also one night, someone on this shared balcony was smoking right outside our door, which defeated the purpose of having the door open for fresh air and just seemed a little sketchy in general. I heard others in the lobby talk of the “fan” they had in their rooms. So, I went to the front desk and asked for one and the gentleman claimed that I must not have seen the fan in my room and mansplained that shared balconies are “quite common in Denmark” and that it was “normal” to leave it open. Telling me I was culturally clueless and just not paying attention was not professional nor did it solve the problem. I assured him that there was no fan in my room and that I had just not “overlooked it”. He told me to go check but I could tell he realized this exchange lacked customer service and he produced a fan for me before my elevator arrived. This same gentleman later that night took more than 5, closer to 10 minutes, to acknowledge guests waiting at the counter. The other employees during our stay were quite attentive and helpful, however.
As expectedly
A very relaxed and convenient place to stay while enjoying Copenhagen
Great location, excellent breakfast!
Highly recommend this hotel - great location as only a short walk to city centre, Tivoli, Rosenborg. Breakfast buffet offers lots of good quality choice. Room was compact but comfortable (included a kettle!), with no noticeable noise. Front desk staff very friendly and professional, and able to store luggage. Great stay.
When assigned a room I was hit by a very strong smell of mildew when I opened the bathroom door. I immediately went to the lobby to let the staff know and was met with disdain and a reluctant promise to have housekeeping look at it. When I got back hours later the bathroom was still rancid and I complained again that it was not possible to sleep in a room that smells like mildew. The front desk made it very clear they had no real interest is helping but agreed to move me to the room next door. There was no smell but it was certainly dingy and poorly maintained. I travel full time and have never once complained and asked for an issue to be resolved so this was certainly a first. This would not he a hotel i would return to, even though the rest of the staff were lovely.
Left the window open bcos it was hot. However the road noise was loud, hence was forced to close window. Not comfortable nights
It was pretty convenient to the airport. We met friends that came in from Sweden for the few hours we had before catching our connecting flight. We were able to walk to a really great restaurant. Everyone at the property seemed friendly. The location was a little generic, maybe? I was hoping it had some of the older historic buildings of Copenhagen closer.
.
Nice and close to Tivoli and train station
Great stay!
We arrived very early in the morning and the front desk staff didn't hesitate to store our luggage until our room was ready. We had a suite, which accommodated our college aged daughter on a sofa bed and a separate room for my husband and me - draw back was no room darkening curtains. The sun comes up pretty early this time of year! While waiting for friends in the lobby, there were inexpensive options for a la carte beer/wine. Staff was very friendly!
No Air conditioning, has to open the window and the noise of pass by train is very loud
Great staff, nice breakfast and clean rooms but the beds were very uncomfortable. It was a little noisy in the night too.
Property is well situated, clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent.
For us it was all about the location. 5 minute easy walk from central station and walkable to everything we wanted to see in Copenhagen as well lots of dining options. Add to that great friendly and helpful staff that gave us dining recommendations that we went to all of. What we didn’t like about the hotel was the small bathroom and shower, and that the room didn’t have a bar fridge. But we still recommend and would stay there again because of the staff and location were more important.
Good location but they didn't replace the toiletries and I ran out of toilet paper and shower gel over a 3 night stay.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel - easy to get everywhere… clean and comfortable.
City break with friend
Nice hotel within comfortable walking distance to city centre and all sightseeing attractions. Friendly and helpful staff and also a lovely buffet breakfast served in bright large room with a great selection.
Perfect location
Great location and the staff were really helpful. The buffet breakfast was good as well
Decent for a budget stay.
Reception: The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick, we were greeted with happy smiles every morning. We didn’t have a mini fridge in our room but we had some snacks we wanted to bring back from our travels that needed to be refrigerated. The reception staff kindly kept our items in the fridge tor us. Room wise- the walls were super thin and we could hear our neighbours’ conversations and their (probably drunken) yelling. The bed consisted of a really soft mattress topper over another mattress which made it hard for both of us to sleep as we weren’t used to such a soft mattress. Multiple plug points available. Overall generally clean with free tea and coffee - water bottles free for first day only but tap water is safe to drink. Bathroom- there was a strong smell likely from the shower drain. The bathroom was cleanish with clean towels and okay toiletries. If not for the strong smell, it would have been a decent bathroom. For a budget stay, its fine. Very central location. 3 min walk to the nearest metro and 7-10 min walk from Tivoli Gardens and the central station. Overall, the helpful staff were the best part of the stay. Worst part is the bathroom smell.
Front desk is helpful and good. Breakfast is generous and very good. I ate too much.Room cleaner was sloppy and not clean the t to room during my stay. Nice top floor room did not get proper hot d so shower.’
Cosy Copenhagan
Fantastic hotel, nice and central, walking distance from the Metro. Staff were fantastic. Room was superb. Buffett breakfast was fantastic. Would stay again no hesitation...
We liked our stay. The room (we had the largest x6) and the staff were excellent. Very helpful manager Ms.M! Breakfast, location are very good.
Underwhelming
Very expensive for what it was. Very basic, cleaning wasn’t particularly impressive. Comfortable beds and relatively well located. Simply too basic for the price paid.
Everything was great about this place. The bus stop is literally a 2-minute walk and the train station is right across the street but did not get bothered by the noise since the station is below street level (nit underground). They have rental bikes and the breakfast buffet is well worth it!!
My family of five stayed here during our spring break. We stayed in a room that accommodates 6 people. It had more than enough room. The beds were comfortable. It had one and a half bathrooms, which was very convenient. Our room faced the street, so there was some road noise. Excellent overall and would recommend this hotel.
Plenty of restaurants handy. The streets were very messy with rubish.
Really nice hotel in a good location. Central and can walk to most places with great transport links too. Room was modern and nice. Quite clean and good turndown service. Breakfast was great in a spacious and modern doning area.
Excellent quality; amazing breakfast (included)
Great property, exceeded expectations. Large spacious room
A great stay with a baby!
We stayed in a room that had a separate living room which was perfect for us so that we could have a space to spend the evening after our baby went to sleep. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. The rooms were warm and the bed was comfy. The hotel staff were really nice and the location is great for exploring the city.
Stayed one night in a family room. Perfect for Tivoli Christmas market and transportation links
Central Copenhagen
Great trip and great hotel. Very central to everything. Room a good size for what we needed. Central station only 10 minutes away. Would recommend this hotel.
Very close to Tivoli and Metro.

Excellent area close to everything
I booked a Junior Suite for myself and my 2 kids for a week. Junior Suite is large and has a separate bedroom and living room area, with a fridge. All Junior Suite bedrooms back on to the elevator shaft. I wished I’d known this before booking. The elevator noise wasn’t completely unbearable. We tended to stay out late so there wasn’t much traffic when we returned and the kids weren’t disturbed by it. Earplugs were provided. The rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. Room's got a little cold at night, but placing the curtains behind the radiators helped. Staff provided extra duvets and offered extra heaters. My kids loved the breakfast’s which offered pastries, cereals, cold meat selection, yoghurts and fruit. Breakfast room was quiet during the week, but tended to get very busy at the weekend. Pancakes were only available at weekends. The carpet in our room was a bit worn through, but the hotel was generally very well maintained.
Room is quite small so there are no space to open the luggages. That is the only negative point. Property is conveniently located near Vesterport Station. Central station is one stop away. To reach hotel from airport, change train at Central Station via track 9 and 10. Then, to airport, change at track 7. Thanks, Mr Janus from Front Desk for this information.
Great stay
This hotel is in an excellent location as it is close to the city centre and is well connected on transport networks. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was really good. The staff were always very helpful as well. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. You need to get anything you want by 10am on weekdays though as they clear everything away very promptly.
Great Location and a Comfortable Room
ProfilHotels Richmond is very convenient to public transportation and walking distance to many things, like tourist attractions, restaurants, and a market. Great location! The room was as described and clean. The staff made our check in and check out quick and easy. A good stay.
The room was compact but clean, complete and unique! All the staff were excellent- my first time to Denmark and the front desk took the time to converse with me and explain how things work in the country. Housekeeping was attentive and accommodating.
Had a lovely stay at the Richmond hotel. Hotel was very clean and spacious. Met all our needs and requirements. Great location. If ever in Copenhagen again, we would definitely stay again. Shout out to Alexandra on receptionist for helping with arrangements and help with local transport (and taking some pics of us as a group)
Doing the usual check under the beds before we left we found a load of sticky sweets (which were not ours) Hotel was cramped for a family, and noisy could hear people above & next door to us. Lobby & breakfast was good though
A great little Gem Near Tivoli & train station
I loved the little touches in the room - an actual fan, hand weights , lots of pillows on bed, really nice lotion in bathroom and the staff is really great Thr room was a nice size with extra seating . Breakfast was very good and even included eggs and bacon ! The location is great - a grocery store less than block, central station & Tivoli easy 5 min walk.
Great hotel, excellent location, very much worth the price!
Friendly staff, great breakfast, room clean but a little hot. Near to Tivoli gardens and restaurants. Helpful concierges
Janus at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The weather was very warm during our stay we’re glad that there was an electric fan in our room. The whole stay was very comfortable and location is very good
Great hotel
This hotel is very well located, close to everything, especially the train station. Lovely reception staff, very welcoming. We really enjoyed our time here
Modern charm
Nice modernized hotel.
Enjoyed our stay very much. Staff were super nice!
Amazing stay, amazing location!
We had an amazing stay. The room was clean and the beds were so comfy! The location was perfect, only a 5-10 minute walk from the main train station and Tivoli gardens! Would definitely recommend!
Great breakfast
The hotel was great for our needs - we were in Copenhagen for a short stop-over, and it was central, walkable to areas of interest, and conveniently close to public transport. Staff were very helpful as well.
Excellent location, very nice, helpful, responsive front desk staff, easy check-in, and clean & comfortable room. Will definitely look out for ProfilHotels Richmond for our future travel plans.
We stayed one night before our cruise for a family of 3 it was fantastic! Huge spacious room. Love the 2 washrooms. It was walkable to grocery store, train station and hop on hop off bus line. The only downfall is the no AC, but luckily it was a cooler night and we slept with the windows open.
Only negative was an overpriced breakfast. Everything else, A plus.
Disappointing
The plus points. Receptionists excellent. Foyer nice. Breakfast good. BUT Room and bathroom tiny and smelt musty. Twin beds touching. Very uncomfortable. Pillows smelt horrible. No fridge. Extremely hot with one tiny fan. Had to open windows then kept awake by traffic noise all night. Shower leaked and could not put math mat down because when opening shower door it pushed it away. Worst event. Our electricity went off early in the afternoon and the receptionist could not get hold of management or maintenance. He also did not have the authority to change our room so we could actually see!!! It was not restored until after 10pm. We had stayed in ProfilHotels in Stockholm And it was so good that I rebooked a ProfilHotels in Copenhagen. The hotels were like chalk and cheese!
Great location, and very helpful staff at all times of the day. Clean rooms that are well-equipped and generous with the room amenities such as shower gels, shampoo etc. comfortable beds and pillows. Plenty of nice eateries, pubs, and convenience stores within 10-12 minutes walk. One down side is that there’s no air conditioner so it can get stuffy in the room when it’s hot. Also, proximity to train tracks means it can get slightly noisy but it’s a trade off given the other plus points of the hotel. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
