Fair value for money
Main bed was comfortable but sofa bed was really uncomfortable, so wouldn’t recommend it for more than 2 people. The flat was clean and bed warm enough. Very noisy neighbours but maybe we were just unlucky that night. We didn’t receive an email with instructions so had to contact host regarding access to accommodation. Fair value for money.
great service, clean, nice room EXCEPT the door ---we had such trouble opening it, we had to impose on reception clerk every time we left because we couldn't get it open...
It was a very big place. It has airconditioning but it doesnt feel like it - it was late Spring and the room gets really hot. Room was only cleaned once and was only provided one set of towel during my three day stay. You need to buy your own shampoo and soap as they are not provided. Lift was not working. Although in a residential area, walkable to the city centre.
This property is more like an actual apartment than a hotel. Don't expect hotel amenities like breakfast buffet, 24 hour staff, et cetera. Despite that, the property rooms are clean, spacious, warm and inviting. Even though the staff is only available at limited times/days, they are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Overall, a great place at a good price.
Excellent as always
One the best places i’ve ever stayed in. Walkable to a nice park, restaurants, bars and a nice club. Beautiful place, i miss it already.
Very good
Great central location, we walked everywhere, so quiet at night. Staff very accommodating.
Great Appartments
Great view over gardens
Good stay
I stayed for one night. Hotel room has basic amenities, and a small kitchen and fridge, and a couple pots and pans. Hot water worked well, and the wifi as well, was reliable. The best part was the view overlooking a quiet courtyard.
Perfect
Excellent rooms and very helpful staff. Good location to old town too.
The “free” parking is street parking- half on street and half on sidewalk on a very narrow street. Our car was hit during the night and damaged.
A Short Stop in Bucharest
The hotel is close to the places I needed to go to. The staff is personable and helpful. They do everything they can to help. One lady personally marked the map to help me find my way around with explanations. I had some wonderful conversations with them, one of them over a beer he offered me. She and two others made sure I had the proper time to leave back to the airport. The shuttle driver was not just nice and helpful he also took it on to be a tour guide on the way to the airport, plus he explained some things about his country. The room was clean, pleasant and equipped for what I needed. If I needed to go back, I would return to that place.
Fantastic
Fantastic
Stay Away
When the taxi dropped us off I was sure it must be the wrong location as it was in the midst of a totally residential neighborhood. Our room was in an adjoining building which required walking out of the main building to another building, not great fun in sub-zero temperatures with luggage. The room size was nice but we had no hot water or heating upon arrival, I turned it on and the heating came on OK but the hot water took nearly an hour to heat up for our 1st shower. The bed in the bedroom had only a sheet and bed cover, no blanket!!! The room has no house phone so I needed to walk back to the reception and find a not so friendly front desk receptionist who later brought us a single wool blanket with no duvet cover. There is no lobby to sit in that I saw, we decided to venture out to grab a bite around 8:30 PM - there was nothing open nearby and after walking a few minutes we eventually gave up on walking 10 more minutes to the city center since the sidewalks were slushy and icy. The advertised hotel SPA was very much closed!
Within walking distance of center but not nice
This place was ok, not too far from the city center but clearly in a residential area. The main issue was the room itself; it was not very clean (dark hairs on the pillow, hair on the floor), appliances were not always working (lights kept going on and off) and the balcony attached to the flat/room was there but had no lights or furniture, so was just a concrete block in front of a courtyard that was not maintained and had heeps of rubbish, so could not use it. Internet was on and off. The description said there would be an espresso maker, but in reality it was just a moka pot but no coffee provided. The walls were thin and there were a lot of people in the hallway at all times of the day and night, and we could clearly hear them (which also made us feel not secure, as they did not sound like guests staying at the hotel). Additionally got a phone call in the middle of the night asking for condoms (thought we were the front desk?). So overall not a very calm stay and the place appeared a bit restless. However this was a cheap option, and sufficient at that. Would however on hind side prefer to stay eg. close to railway station and take the metro in to town instead of staying here which was walking distance, but lacked in other aspects.
HORRIBLE HOTEL
Horrible hotel! The included breakfast was non existent. They wantes to charge me twice as much as a cab for a trip to the airport. The walk to old town was littered with dog dropings and people sleeping on the sidewalks. People hanging out around the hotel steps and they did nothing to make them leave. HORRIBLE HOTEL! I mentioned the problems to the front desk and they did nothong. I asked about breakfast when i arrived and was told it would be in the restaurant but in the morning i was told they do not uave breakfast in the weekend. Who does this?
basic hotel close to centre of town
at first glance, rather Spartan and ancient. However, there was everything you could need, and the bed was comfortable, with clean linen. I was very comfortable here, and as I said seems rather Spartan at first, it was all I needed. Once found, the hotel was easy to negotiate to and from. A small market and fruit shop were about 100m away, where you could get water at very reasonable rates, etc. Only had the breakfast once, then went to the Harp bakery for breakfast, and English breakfast tea. I found the coffee very strong for my taste, generally.
It was preety good i loved bucaret and i traveld all romania
Boutique hotel apartment with clean rooms
It was a good stay. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet neighborhood so you can rest well at night.
Perfect location, Good value for price, Clean
This is not a fancy hotel and it's in a working class neighborhood, but the location is perfect. It's a 10min walk to the Piata Unirii metro & bus stop. The beds were American queen-sized. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The room was clean, although it still smells a bit of smoke. (The public building smoking ban just went into effect in March 2016, so that's rather to be expected.) Really, I only have two complaints. First, locks on the outside window/doors on the lower levels would be good. Our balcony literally had a ladder leaning against it and no lock on the door. Granted, there was no handle on the outside of the door either, but a latch would give some piece of mind. Or maybe, you know, not have a ladder sitting right there. Second, the wi-fi only reaches to some rooms. Our first two nights we were in a room with wi-fi. Our last two nights we stayed in the room directly next door (B6 vs B7) and the wi-fi didn't reach, not even in the hall. We had to sit in a lounge area near reception to get any signal. The router is sitting on reception's desk, so it's possible someone bumped it at some point, but overall a better system could probably be easily achieved.
Very comfortable, plenty of space.
I actually fell ill, but the timing was good because the room was so comfortable, I didn't mind being confined to it for two days. Lovely bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area.
Nice hotel to stay for a few days
The reservation was easy, and, after a few days elsewhere, wo could regain our favourite apartmen in the "secret garden" for an additional three days. Really enjoyable.
Prince Park & Prince Residence near Unirii Square
Stayed there on 2 weekends (fri-sun), 1st in Prince Park 2nd time in Prince Residence. Both times had large 1-bedroom suites. Accommodations were good. Beds were not very comfortable, however. Noise from a wedding party in their restaurant could be heard on the second floor of newer tower late on one Sat. night. The older section of the hotel was not noisy when a party was going on during our second stay. Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel and location near city centre (about 20 minutes walk). The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful!
Still recommended after second stay!
For a three star establishment, this hotel is still outstanding. Professional staff, clean rooms, well stocked kitchenettes, and airport transportation. The driver was waiting at the airport holding a sign with my name on it. Close to Unirii Square, Unirea shopping center, and mini marts. I'm going back to Bucharest next year, and back to Prince Residence.
Reasonable price
The stay was adequate given for my short stay. I used the stove top to heat up the water and blew the electric fuse which left me in complete darkness in the evening. The front desk lady was quick to help and explained how to use the kitchen range properly (use only the smaller one). For this price, I think it is reasonable, given the spacious rooms!
Not a very good location
This is an old place. The first two rooms that they showed me was like a dungeon. Very dark and looking out the windows was a wall. The third room had some sunlight. To get to the room, you go up starts to the lobby then down a hall and then down stairs to another hall to an elevator. To get to the historic district was about a 15 minute walk through a residential neighborhood. There was on Ly one restaurant between the hotel and the historic district. I would never recommend this hotel.
Great hotel!
First trip to Bucharest. Multi-lingual, professional reception and restaurant staff. Try the veal cutlet with mushrooms! Overbooked the type of room I requested, upgraded to a luxury room. Spotless. Good AC. Key, not key card. Services include laundry, help with tours and local attractions, airport transportation. Neighborhood, while safe, was a little run down. Two mini markets within two blocks, four blocks to a major road (Unirii.) In short-good hotel, great staff, average location. But quiet! Highly recommended!
Great price for the facilities
Very reasonably priced compared to similar accommodations in the other tourist destinations of Romania. Our room had a kitchen/living space with a nice bedroom and bathroom. Bed was a little hard for my liking but otherwise comfy. This hotel is kind of two hotels in one, the other being of a higher star rating. We felt breakfast was expensive and 'free' parking is just find a space on the street with hotel parking being also chargeable - I was a little disappointed with this as the street was residential so not a lot of space if you get to the hotel late. Overall a good stay for what we needed.
Not really what i wanted
During our romanian trip i wanted to stay in different types of hotels to get a varied trip. This was meant to be the chic, city boutique hotel but did not deliver by any means. Asked on arrival if we had a room with a view so they changed us to a ground floor room with a view of a building site turns out our original room was a deluxe suite which we missed out of. Room smelt damp and staff were rude, very dark street and lobby toilet so dirty for two days. No mirror in room, dark, unsettling atmosphere in hotel, list could go on only plus is it was cheap at £33 a night but this is normal for romania and looking at its competitors now i could have made a better choice! And spa looked closed gutted
My thaks to the hotel staff
The hotel staff helped me in every question, even to find a best hotel in Mamaia
Great deal!
We found this hotel at the very last minute, and basically saved our lives as we were "homeless" in Bucharest. We got an apartment (2 rooms with bathroom, kitchen), which was simply amazing. Staff was super kind and sweet to us. The girl at the bar was beyond nice and funny. I'd def stay in here and recommend the place to anyone!!
a comfortable place to be
first time in Romania. Hotel is close to major city attractions. Wifi connection isn't too good although was told thatRromania has got good connection.
Well placed for Unirii Plata and the Old Town
Whist it took me a day to get my bearings the hotel was conveniently located for walking to the Old Town, Unirii Square and the University district. If you are travelling here on a budget the hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the airport bus (783) stop at Unirii Square. As a single male traveller I found the area to be safe, but as in all cases caution should be a priority, and probably safer than jumping into a taxi. Caution when entering a taxi, make sure you ask the fare first, they will tell you they have a meter, and they do, but who verifies that meter is anyone's guess. There are many bars and restaurants in the Unirii Square/Old Town area.
close to all sights but not really nice
we had to switch off the central heating as it was so loud we could not sleep at night. Therefore it was freezing in the morning. We had power cuts, so water did not work properly. Overall, a bit uncomfortable.
The Hotel was a gem
Friendly staff, Amazing Romanian food, and the room was outstanding. Will definitely stay here again.
Perfect!
Me and my two girl friends were wanting a weekend trip somewhere and chose Bucharest, having some reservations we wanted what seemed to be rated as a safe and comfortable hotel and that is just what we got and more! The staff couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations and airport service. The rooms were clean and we enjoyed an apartment setting room. The hotel made our stay while being in Bucharest. Thank you!
A bit out of the way
The hotel location was a little confusing to find, my partner and I had friends who live in Bucharest and they had never even heard of the hotel and they were in the same sector. Service was relatively friendly and eager to help but they will only take payments in either RON or EUR so remember to exchange before you arrive because most places with a decent exchange rate are shut over the weekend. The room itself was somewhat comfortable but for some reason they insisted on leaving boilers turned off so showers etc. were freezing until we located the problem. There are also stringent rules set out by the hotel but they only have a romanian version available so it's worth trying to research before your holiday begins! Overall a nice experience but will make sure I'm more prepared next time I stay.
Not so bad
Shower head did not work properly. Stove top did not work in my room to cook meals inside the apartment, luckily my mother was staying in another apartment and we used hers. Reception had a strong cigarette smell, as well as the apartment, but to be fair, this is not uncommon in Eastern Europe. Overall ok, not a long walk from Parliament and other attractions but maybe I would choose another place if I ever go to Bucharest again.
Stay in the newer building...
There is a trick about this hotel. There are three buildings, which one of them is great and the other room depending the room they are not so great. you must make sure you stay at the better building, there is a confusion of advertisement for he better building and when you get there....
The lack of ramps for big bags is a main problem when one travels with large luggage. Lots of stairs but no ramps, bad idea.
Nice Value for money.
We had a single room and a 2 room apartment. 2 room apartment is very big. Both were very nice. Staff is very helpful. It is on a small street, but just minutes away from Old City Center with malls, shopping and nightlife.I would stay here again.
lovely hotel
we arrived late after driving 18 hours from Hungary via draculas castle. There was slight issue with leaky air conditioning unit but the manager changed our room straight away and was so helpful and friendly. The rooms were large and a lovely clean bathroom. Would recommend this hotel
Great price for a comfortable room. We stayed 3 nights, and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Didn't mind walking a few blocks to major attractions, since the path was clean and nostalgic. Would definitely stay again.
Positive
Good value for the money, good amount of space, clean but missing a numbers of small comfort items: stove in the kitchen didn't work but they replced it with a microwave, the door didn't lock properly, the internet signal is very low, not really able to connect wirelessly, the internet cable provided to replace the wireless connection was deffective, etc. It could be a much better experience if all these details were working properly because it is otherwise a nice living space at a good price. I hope it improves in the future, it doesn't take much!
Prince Residence, Bucharest, Romania
Good, clean room. Great service. This was a 3 star hotel, and it was a nice 3 star hotel. Did not have the extras like soap, shampoo, lotion, et.
Price Residence Bucharest
The room is very small even it has kitchen(in the same room),it was not so big like i saw in the pictures from the site.It was very clean but the towels were very old .
Map
It's a shame that a map of city costs in this hotel 10 lei.
The staff were not really friendly. When we asked them about tours we could book they had no idea and no suggested on things to see in the city. However they did give us a map that only had advertisment for call girls and strip clubs. Not my kind of sight seeing.
Comfortable, spacioys, affordable
Spacious, modern and comfortable apartment. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient walking distance to old town and subway.
Best you can get for your money in downtown
won't sorry for this choice
Great location in Bucharest for a family
The apartment was huge and well equipped. Staff very helpful. Worked really well for a family. Huge balcony - close to everything
Great appartment in Bucharest.
Nice big clean room. Accessible almost from the street so really felt like our own apartment. We had the one room apartment so was like a normal hotel room but with a kitchen area which was very useful. Shop is nearby for basic essentials. Could walk to all the main attractions. Really good value for a great room and good location.
Struttura pulita e personale molto gentile e disponibile
complessivamente ok
Esperienza nel complesso positiva, monolocale carino, bagno discreto, posizione ottima. Da segnalare però una cattiva ricezione del wifi.
Ótimo apto
Apartamento bem organizado, limpo e silencioso.

Great hotel for a budget trip
Central location, clean, well connected to tram lines. A great deal specially for families or groups. Our two room apartment had a kitchen so it was easy to have breakfast and lunch in the room.
WE à Bucarest

Easy check in, got the code for key lock in a WhatsApp msg, had a large apartment with lots of pans, cutlery, job etc, shower gel provided, hand soap, comfy bed and a very good experience so would happily stay here again, caught 100 bus from airport to piata Unirii 2 and it was a 6 minute walk
