Great location
Wonderful experience
Amazing people are working in the hotel! We stayed 3 nights there and I would be happy to stay more. When we arrived we were offered room choice which is great! Breakfast was fresh and delicious!!!
Dracula Mansion
If you are a horror movie fan this place will meet your utmost desires and highest expectations. Even reception is carefully decorated like a funeral home. Staff have a vampire like appearance. There was even a black cat sitting on the bench when returning at night. Bedrooms have antique ghotic design with chandeliers hanging top of your head. Best stay ever!
Everything was great
Mick's stsy
A hotel with a distinct character.it is a lovely building, has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff appear to take pride in what they arr doing. Bedroom was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast, very good value. Great lication
Premist Hotel
Excellent hotel and staff, clean, freindly and when we arrived we recieved free breakfast, would recommend this hotel and will stay again if visiting istanbul
Small intimate hotel that reminds you of luxury of days gone by. It's in an excellent location next to Topkapi Palace, The Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosque. This is punctuated by the excellent service from the staff and the wonderful breakfast. Highly recommended
Recommend
The staff was amazing, welcoming and very helpful. Location is perfect, right next to historic centre and yet in a quiet spot. Very cosy and unique design place. We enjoyed our stay.
Highly recommended
Very nice hotel and met the most humble staff always ready to help and also you can experience the beauty of the historical building..big up to the premist staff
Staff is amazing, good location, close to many facilities
Excellent staff
Very friendly staff!
Faisal Khan
Too good location for nearby attractions, moreover the class of services we received was outstanding from each and every staff we felt like if we were in our own home, Thank you so much for being too nice everytime we needed a help!
Ca poziție bine amplasat, dar personalul lasă de dorit
A well situated place with comfy rooms . The building is well adapted to be a hotel and much thought has gone into the decor
Overall is great but please I’m prove the cleanliness
Everything was great, the location was perfect just a few minutes walk from all of the major must see attractions, Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, a great place to stay.
The location was good. Great walking distance to/from mosques. However, the hotel was dirty. The sheets, where an off white with yellow-ish stains and holes. The mattress did not have a cover, instead I just had a sheet over it. The mattress was old with yellow and black stains. I bought a pillow and a sheet to use while at Premist hotel, because of the conditions of the comforter and sheets. At check out, I was called; 3 minutes after check out time; asking me if I was ready to check out. I informed the front desk I was just leaving the room. I was in the 3rd floor, hotel staff saw me struggling with two suitcases and none of them offered to help me. When I first arrived, hotel staff helped me with me luggage and I tipped them in euro. I was disappointed that when I was leaving no one offered to help despite seeing me struggle. Looking back at my stay I should have paid more for another hotel as the Premist was dirty and had poor service.
Horrendous Noise, Terrible Management
I booked this hotel based on good reviews and location. I booked a triple room for a week and paid in advance. Upon arrival, it turned out that they do not have a triple room available. After waiting for an hour and talking with the manager (he was not on site), we finally got a double room with an extra bed, pretty small, but at least we could get some rest. The next day we moved to the triple room. Everything looked fine until around 3 am that I woke up due to the noise coming from the upper floor. We did not have good sleep and were tired the next day. I thought this was probably a one-night thing, so did not complain. 3rd night we woke again from the noise from the room upstairs. We could hear all their late-night activities, taking shower, etc. I talked to the front desk that night, they said they would move us to the upper floor in the morning. Next morning, we packed and I went to the front desk to get the keys to the new room. There was a different guy there he said hotel is fully booked and there is nowhere else for us to go. At that point I had enough and decided to go to a different hotel. I paid for a 7 night stay and left after 3 nights (no refund from the hotel). This should tell you how bad was our experience and you should definitely avoid this hotel at all costs. I am a heavy sleeper, if I could not sleep there lots of other people can’t either. I hope this helps, avoid the Premist hotel and enjoy your time in beautiful Istanbul.
close to everything
very comfy bed, hotel very convenient for sites in the area
Clean small hotel close to everything good breakfast Just no elevator
after an initial hiccup with the cleanliness and facilities in our bathroom full marks to hotel management for stepping up and ensuring we had a clean and large room the rest of our stay was very comfortable , and the staff ( especially Mehmet ) very attentive the breakfast spread was also plentiful
Property was in a great location very close to most visiting places, staff was great, breakfast was good even though it was the same every day for the days we stayed there. First night we got there they put us in a room that was in a basement and was something I didn’t expected, the room was small and not clean, the front desk attendant was apologetic for putting us there saying that we arrived late and the hotel was full. Though they changed our room the next day and put us in a better room which was better and cleaner. Overall experience it was good!!
The single room was too small making it awkward to move around the bed without walking sideways. There was very little storage. The duvet did not have a cover. Other rooms may be better but avoid the small room next to reception. Location great.
It was very near to the blue mosque about 5 mins but the breakfast was very basic
Excellent value for money with great staff, not top drawer, but does what is says. Location. Is brilliant.
Great location, clean comfortable room, great breakfast, good preis.
The location is amazing and the staff is simply great.
I had a lovely stay at premist. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we didn’t had any problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
1st time @ this Hotel... Loved it! We'll be back!
All the Staff was great and very friendly!
Customer services was great specially help desk was very helpful specially Ramazaan was helping me with all my tours. On other Hand another an Afghani guy Mansor he was was working in help desk too. He was always help me with the taxi. Taxi in Istanbul is pain in the neck, but with this guy I had no problems at all and he was always help me like a friend till last minute that he put my luggage in the taxi. I am strongly recommend this hotel
What I like about the hotel is the location, the staff and the decor. It is close to the tourist sites and great restaurants and convenient stores. It is good for its value. However, the room is small and there is a incline going to the tram, no elevator, and at least from my room I can hear the traffic. Also, my room needs thicker curtains. For me, those are not much of an issue but I can see it being challenging for some guests. I would stay there again if I am in the neighborhood.
Great location for easy access to food and tours
The staff was very friendly, very easy walk to food and sites, beds are very comfortable. The only drawback is the parking lot next door has some yelling “car park” at every car going by until 10pm...right below the room window.
Great location
The hotel has a great location in the old town, walking distance to main tourist attractions and public transportation. Good breakfast and comfortable bed. A good value hotel!
Nice location, just next to Topkapi and Ayasofia. Bedroom was a bit small , bed was comfortable. The reception could have been more welcoming
1 day doesn’t have hot water
Lovely hotel with amazing location
It was a great stay, loved the hotel, our room was amazing. The service was really good plus they maintained good standards. The location of the hotel is perfect as it's in the middle of the city. Will definitely recommend this place
The location was very nice, well centered, nice area. People helpful and friendly.
Location - breakfast- helpful service- nice and comfortable room .
Great condition and excellent location in the Old City area.
I would definitely stay there again- I loved the location, close to the major points of interest but in a very quiet spot. I was able to rest peacefully after a very busy and eventful day. Plus, they do offer a shuttle service which is a great plus!
Great experience
Everything was excellent. The room had an amazing view, was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is 3 minutes walking to everything, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice staff especially at the font desk; Zafer was a great help. The first room I stayed in was a little noisy right on the street. I had it exchanged for an interior room which was great. Hotel is close to public transportation and things to see. Definitely would recommend this hotel for the price range.
A hotel that had such promise.....
We first stayed here shortly after it opened in 2012. We were impressed with the hotel. Booked one of the more basic rooms and it was great albeit a little small. Turkish Apple tea and pastries often offered in reception. Breakfast basic but freshly made omelettes were great. We booked to stay there again in 2018. We booked the most expensive room as we were staying for 9 days. The room was tiny and dirty. We had to move rooms due to the ant infestation The second room was slightly larger but hadn’t been fully prepared by housekeeping We didn’t have sheets on the bed and only discovered this at around 11 at night. Breakfast was awful Who eats chips for breakfast ? No omelettes for breakfast no bread suitable for toasting The lady in charge of breakfast was rushed off her feet and did the best she could. Sadly there was no apple tea or pastries at reception. The hotel is undergoing extensive building refurbishment works. We were not pre-warned of this.
Problems with internet connection but everything else was as expected.
Staff was welcoming and professional. Breakfast was above average, and it was great to eat in the garden. wifi was good. I really valued the location , but you do have a slight hill to climb to start yur day. The room was a bit crowded and the stairs were a strain. There is a mosque next door but they seem to mute the early morning call to prayer; I kept my window open and it was not an issue.
The staffs are very helpful and accommodating. We especially love the location of the hotel is very close to topkapi, hagia Sofia, bazaar, tram etc. We are so happy with the hotel.
Happy customer
Thank you it was great. Clean organised friendly couldn't ask for more
Beautiful hotel interior. Great location
Beautiful hotel with excellent central location. Few minutes walk from main attractions such as Aya Sophia, The Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful small boutique hotel - everything was right, excellent value for money.
When we arrived with cofirmed reservation I was informed that my room is not available till nrxt day. After a lot of verbal fight i was shipped to another hotely miles away. Which was far away for our attaction. So we waisted a whole day then i stayed another night at premist hotel but he charged me for 3 days cause i left 3 hours after the check out time. With all the inconvienences atleast he should have given me a break. I suggest you take down this hotel from your list.Very bad experience. How eould you feel after 15 hours flight and 2 to 3 hours to get to hotel snd finding out that your confirmed reservation dors not matter.
Nice quite hotel and waking distance from old city
Friendly helpfull staff, location is perfect for visiting historic places with walking distance. Room size is a bit small but clean.
The curtains on the windows were not dark enough to block the sun light. So the room was not very dark at night because of the street lights and once the sun comes out in the morning, the room become very bright and was very hard to stay a sleep.
Charming hotel, great location.
This is a boutique hotel with distinctive style, in a great location. I had an excellent stay - everything was clean and comfortable, and staff went out of their way to help, including finding opening times and travel routes for things I wanted to see. I'd definitely go back. Room had fridge and TV and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The hotel is comprised of three converted houses round a tiny courtyard, and my room was back from the road and pleasantly quiet.
One of the best locations
Staff are exellent, they help a lot.We appertiate the services we received from all staff. Will never forget you guys . Location is great , close to all main attractions.
3 days in Istanbul beside Topkapi, Hagia Sofya
We stayed at Premise for 3 nights nights. Great manager Fardi. The hotel entrance is literally 200-300 m from Topkapi Palace entrance. Very quiet for sleeping but within walking distance to Hagia Sofya, Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet Square. Food options available almost everywhere! Alcohol is also available at nearby supermarkets. This was the perfect place to stay.
Small but well formed
Very comfortable room.
Beautiful hotel, great location,goodfood
Short walk to blue mosque and aya Sofia, friendly, helpful staff, beautiful ottoman style hotel and rooms, quaint, generous breakfast.
This should be your first choice in Istanbul!
We had an unparalleled, wonderful experience at The Premist! The staff went above and beyond, and were the best part of our stay - which is saying a lot. The location is in the middle of all of the main tourist attractions, and we walked everywhere we wanted to go. It was impeccably clean, and simply lovely. Other reviewers said the room was small, so we spent a little extra for a larger suite, and were more than happy with the amount of room we had - it was pretty spacious actually! The decor is killer! They were busily renovating other parts of the hotel while we were there, and I am sure the results will be stunning. As mentioned by other reviewers, the breakfast was perfect. This is handy because food in this area of town is terrible, so we were very grateful. Did I mention how great the staff are? We recommend The Premist without hesitation, and look forward to staying again in the future.
Reasonable price in a great location
Great location. Walk to Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sofia. Staff speak decent English and knowledgeable enough about attractions and getting around. Room feels cramped, partly due to the huge blackish glass wall that covers the TV (yes, the TV is behind the glass wall) which although novel, creates precious dead space. If you get rid of the glass wall, the room will immediately feel more spacious.
Very friendly service and great location
Nice stay.
Good short stay. Beds are very comfortable. Good location close to Hagia Sofia, blue mosque and Topkapi Palace. Bathroom is on the small side. Includes breakfast and tea time. Would stay here again.
Premist Hotel Boutique the best in Istanbul!
We love this hotel; the staff was amazing; they welcome us with a very informative session of Istanbul, i.e places to visit and how to get around the city; they even gave us metro transit cards; they gave us support in all our needs. Breakfasts were excellent and provided a diversity of foods/fruits/cheeses/coffees/teas and many other very healthy options. The location is perfect: 1 or 3 blocks from all the historic sites and public transportation; excellent restaurants and nice neighborhood. I will come back to this hotel in my next visit to Istanbul. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Highly recommended
Everything about our stay at the Premist makes me recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation and a genuinely warm welcome within the heart of old Istanbul. The staff could not be more helpful, and excellent English was spoken.
Best Service Ever!
The staff at the Premist could not have been more accomodating. We would highly recommend staying here!
Nicest hotel staff I have ever met.
The staff was incredible. They took time out to help us in every way. They were so kind in helping us with our daily plans and travel details. They served a nice Buffett breakfast each morning. Each afternoon they provided a nice tea. The location was excellent and close to all of the Old City highlights. Our room was facing the street so there was too much light and noise. So be sure to bring your eye mask. That is the on Y negative in our three day stay. Oh, I almost forgot that they made up are bed one night like we were in a ships state room.
Excellent Location and Great Staff
Very easy to find and fast, efficient and friendly check in. Rooms are small but comfortable - except for the bathrooms which are minuscule. Nice breakfast.
Old Ottoman mansion converted to amazing hotel!
Absolutely loved this hotel! Rooms spotless, amazing service, insisted on changing our room and upgraded us after they accidentally put us next to the kitchen. Location is perfect, right next to Sultanahmet Mosque. Will definitely come again
Excellent Boutique Hotel in the best neighborhood
Premist is an excellent hotel located in the best neighborhood - very close to tram/metro/blue mosque/ayasofya/ topkapi museum/ arastra bazaar and restaurants in the central neighborhood of Sultanahmet. The staff was very kind and goes above and beyond to help you in every way! they all speak english and provide good recommendations! they have a delicious fresh breakfast in the morning and turkish tea and treats everyday from 4-6pm. they have complementary water bottles in your room and Molton Brown body products! I ma very satisfied with my stay and will definitely re-visit them.
Amazing hotel for the price.
5 nights in Istanbul
We found the Premist Hotel to be a lovely place to stay when in Istanbul. Its right near the centre of the old city, a 5 min walk from Hagia Sofia and Topkaki palace. Its slightly farther to walk to the Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern. The hotel is right near a train station, but unfortunately this is still under construction as part of the new Marmaray line and is not operational. So the closest public transport is the Sultahnamet stop on the blue tram line. The hotel itself is presented in opulent style with ornate bedspreads, big draping curtains and luxurious wood and marble fittings. We thought our room was very well presented, except for a couple of minor things e.g. there were some unexplained spots on the bathroom floor. The curtains also weren't very practical, as they were difficult to let down to prevent the sunlight waking us up in the morning. The staff are fantastic. We found all of them very pleasant, convivial and helpful. They were more than happy to chat about which attractions to visit and how to reach them. They helped us with cab prices and were quick to bring our luggage to our rooms, as there is no lift in the buildings. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. There's a good amount of variety, such as breads, fruits, museli, yoghurt, eggs done scrambled or hardboiled, and a changing rotation of other hot foods. Staff will offer freshly squeezed orange juice and Turkish tea. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent base to explore Istanbul old city
I spent three days in Istanbul as a tourist after 4 days at a conference. I selected this hotel on the basis of its location and the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor and Expedia and was not disappointed. It is in a brilliant position to explore the old city of Istanbul, being just minutes walk away from Topkapi Palace, the various Museums, the Blue Mosque, and conveniently located for the tram and local restaurants and shops. It is an oasis of calm and quiet in a very busy part of Istanbul, even having a nice garden out the back where one can relax and take breakfast. The room I had overlooked a busy street but it was remarkably quiet and I was able to sleep well. The room was small but beautifully furnished and impeccably clean and brilliantly presented (down to the fluffy towels and named toiletries in the bathroom). The breakfast was excellent, with a range of teas and coffees, a wide selection from the buffet plus a freshly cooked omelette if requested. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and my requests for restaurant recommendations resulted in two brilliant choices that had spectacular views and excellent food. Indeed, at Sur Balik, which is about 10 minutes walk away and right on the Marmara coast, I had some of the best calamari and sea bass that I have ever eaten, all in an amazing location. Thoroughly enjoyable at a very reasonable price.
Novel, but impractical for a long stay.
We stayed here for 2 nights, in a standard double room. The conundrum with this hotel is which has more importance, style or practicality? The very large point of difference for this hotel is the Ottoman decor, which to my non-Turkish tastes was distinctive, charming in its own way, amusing, and well over the top in a positive way, just short of overwhelming. Additionally our room had a concave floor to ceiling smoky mirror wall opposite the bed - actually it was reflective smoked glass, behind which was the TV, but it was very reflective. The mirrors, and the plush curtains at the bed head had a bordello type feel to them. (My apologies for french in the review of a Turkish hotel, I don't know the Turkish word for brothel.) I also don't know if the reflective feature is standard, or just in the room we had. Incidentally the vanity in the bathroom looked like the base of a dalek. (fans of Dr Who won't need to Google it, but may find it more novel than the rest of the decor). Although I wouldn't repeat the decor in my own home, I thought the novelty appealing when we first went in the room. Apart from the novelty of the decor, other positives are that the bed was comfy, it was clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The air-con was effective. But there were quite a few drawbacks. The most significant was that room was too small, it was impractical, and that made it uncomfortable after a short time. There was very little distance
The best Hotel!
This is just a wonderful, clean, elegant, quiet and very comfortable Hotel in the middle of busy Istanbul. We chose this Hotel because of the room size as well as close location to the nearest Restaurants and exciting sights and we were delighted to find everything they promised. In fact, days after the online booking we received an email from the management asking if we need any help in organising tours. How good is that?! From check in to daily incredible flower arrangements on the bed, they delivered to a very high standard and were very friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfast as well! We strongly recommend this Hotel and hope that you will have the chance to experience the same. A big thank you to the staff and management, you are doing a wonderful job.
Premist Hotel
Perfect boutique hotel in the center of the city. Walking distance from all tourist attractions, and surrounded by picturesque streets full of local restaurants offering all kinds of food. The staff speaks fluent English and provides excellent service. Breakfast included, and Turkish tea and coffee are available 24 hours a day. The rooms are decorated in ottoman era style which adds additional impression to the whole trip.
Boutique Hotel Perfection
From the pictures of this hotel that I saw when I was booking it, I expected it to be a little gaudy. The pictures absolutely DO NOT do this hotel justice. It's a beautiful, quaint, tucked away place which is literally steps away from Topkapi Palace. It has 2 beautiful courtyards where it's easy to wile away hours, forgetting that there's a world just beyond the walls. The location is also great because you will hear calls to worship; based on the time of year I was there, I heard calls to worship just after 5 pm and at 4:50 am. If you're going to be annoyed by that early call to worship, I would suggest that you don't stay in this part of town. Though it woke me up, I wasn't bothered by it at all because I saw it as an opportunity to experience the culture of the city. Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was greeted with an offer of tea and sweet treats and the check-in process was very smooth and very personal (pleasantly so). My room was small but spacious and very comfortable. Hardwood floors, a gorgeous shower and very clean (housekeeping does an excellent job) - this made my room a pleasure to be in. I must say, the bed was very comfortable and I had 2 fabulous nights' sleep. Breakfast is included and a good selection is on offer, included special order omelettes and a nice variety of fruit. The service at this hotel is top par, I think. The front desk manager (I'm sad to say I don't remember his name now! ) especially was very helpful in following up with the airline for m
Premist Hotel
Staff is great and extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Perfect location and superb service !
I would say staying at this lovely hotel enriched my travel in Istanbul ! My room is lovely ( although it's a bit small - good enough for one person) , the location is impeccable ( 5 - 8 mins to Topkapi palace / Hagia Sophia by walk ) , and the service is supeb ! The two gentlemen ( Serdar and I forgot the name of another receptionist - sorry!) at night shift were super nice and friendly , they gave me lots of useful advices and let me take a shower before my long-flight even I checked out my room ! This is a truly enjoyable stay at Premist hotel , I will definitely come back if i travel to Istanbul Again ! Just one little comment for my room - the noise isolation might need some improvement , request a room on higher floor ( no lift thou !) to avoid the sound from wooden flooring if you are light sleeper.
One of the best, if not THE best, hotels ever!
The Premist Hotel is possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed in! Istanbul is a huge, bustling city - wonderful to visit but really full of people. Premist is a little oasis to come home to during the day and each night. The garden transports you, your own little personal place for peace and quiet. Breakfast in the hotel changes daily, you can eat in the garden or in the breakfast room. The breakfast chef is great. The rooms are modern and beautiful and comfortable. By far the most amazing feature of the Premist, and there are more than I can count, is the service. Everyone there has ESP - they anticipate your needs and wishes and get there before you do! They treat every guest like a valued family member. Anyone who stays at the Premist will surely want to return to Istanbul and to the Premist. There are thousands of hotels in Istanbul. This is the one to choose. You will be charmed and delighted from the minute you walk thru the door.
Excellent location, friendly staff, very comfortable and clean. I recommend for all.
Excellent location for sights & restaurants.
Covered all the points of interest of Istanbul by foot. We used local transportation from the Ataturk Airport to our hotel at the cost of 4TL for the metro & 4 TL for the tram per person. It was easy and fun. We travel with carry on baggage. The people are friendly and helpful.
GREAT PLACE
Cant beat the location - 2 short (uphill) blocks to all the sights - clean room, though small, great staff and wonderful breakfast - book early to get a good rate as it fills up
More than perfect hotel
perfect location, perfect cooperation from staff also perfect breakfast, really I enjoyed in this hotel
Very well located
very nicely received my all staff who are very helpful in all aspects. Nice breakfast. Comfortable bed and very clean throughout
First Time in Istanbul
We took our 16 year-old son to the city on our way to Cyprus. We were pleasantly surprised by the convenient location. We could walk anywhere in the old city which was a bonus! The room was a nice size and the wifi was good. The breakfast was fantastic - and the coffee was good! Staff were more than accommodating and appreciated our vain attempts at speaking Turkish! It was fun. It took a bit of getting used to with the call to prayer and the stray cats howling but ultimately it added to the charm of the old town.
Great staff, Great location
The rooms are a bit small but I guess it would be about the same around the neighborhood. Location is right down the street by the Topkapi Palace. Hotel staff are outstandingly helpful and friendly. We had problems with airline check-in, and the female staff helped us all the way through and printed tickets. Also the male staff told us additional areas to tour around (not the typical tourist spots but where the local people would go) and the authentic Turkish restaurant (which was the best restaurant we had in the entire trip, better than the one with over 1,400 reviews on TripAdvisor but nearby the hotel and in historic distric). In general, I highly recommend the hotel.
Good service but poor room.
Service was good. The bed was very small and there were no curtains just mesh. The hotel did try to solve this. Air con not operational. Safe very small. Location excellent. A bit mixed. my wife had bruises from banging into the bed as there was no space to walk around it. No lift.
Great staff
Stayed for 4 nights with my wife. The staff were excellent - really friendly and helpful, for example they gave us detailed advice about things to do in the area, ordered some gluten-free bread for my wife who is coeliac and made sandwiches on the last day because we had to take an early morning flight. Breakfast was good; there was a wide variety of cooked and fresh food, we really loved the freshly squeezed orange juice! The hotel also had little features that comes with a higher end hotel, such as nice toiletries, dressing gown, slippers, etc. Location was perfect, we only needed public transport for the airport.
Very good Boutique Hotel
Very friendly and helpful staff. We would have liked a lobby or seating area to relax in at night.
Close to Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace
Great location. Close to the 'must see' sights of Istanbul yet quiet (notwithstanding the nest door local mosque!). Breakfast substantial and healthy options. Rooms have an exotic boudoir touch. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Nice cute hotel rooms
Very cute hotel close to all tourist locations. Super cute rooms. Bathrooms need better lighting & more water pressure. Also the room walls are not sound proof. Excellent and super friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Excellent hotel in perfect location.
Excellent hotel in perfect location, with kind and helpful staff, beautiful room.
A wonderful experience
A most welcoming place to rest your feet and get your juices up before tramping out for another long day of sightseeing and dining. The guidance offered by the team at the desk was most important in determining our tracks for the day. The room was a little cramped but that was outweighed by its quaintness and stimulating decor. The breakfast was balanced and varied, and gave us a good start for the day
A week in Istanbul
Wonderful reception, perfect location for main sites. I'd recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.
Wonderful Staff & Great Location
The Premist hotel is spread out through three buildings. Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff was very attentive and anxious to help us with anything we might need and they called several restaurants and a Hamam for us to make reservations as well as gave us info on the public transit system and some potential things to see. The Premist also has a very good breakfast with very attentive staff that really made our stay enjoyable. They give you fresh-squeezed orange juice, cappuccino, eggs to order, good breads, and the typical spread of cheeses, meats and olives you find in Turkey. The breakfast is in the basement so we didn't sit there for long mornings enjoying the view but it was still a fantastic way to start the day and really adds value to this hotel. The hotel is just a couple blocks from Topkapi palace and hagia sophia and the blue mosque. There are a number of restaurants near the Premist. They tend to be a little touristy but we found one (through Trip Advisor) called aloran and it was fantastic. One potential frustration is that the building is old so you hear people walking in the room above you and you can hear people talking through the walls but we have a "white noise" machine app on our phone that we use everywhere we go and it blocked everything out at night and we were fine.
Great hotel, great location
This was our second stay at this hotel and it didn't disappoint. The location is really convenient but what really makes it is the staff, they're friendly and professional.
Wonderful Hotel
This hotel was in the perfect location only a two block walk to Aya Sophia and Topkopi Palace. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They brought me sweets and juice when I checked in and went through the map of the area and all the sights to see in Istanbul's neighborhoods. The room was very clean and the bed was soft and comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Superb staff, great location, comfy room - 5 stars
I loved the hotel itself, but it was the staff that really made this an exceptional experience. We felt like family, very well cared for and among friends. From the first moment we were treated like returning family. One of us had a birthday during the trip, and although we didn't mention it, the staff noticed the date on her passport. Not only did they bring out cake and sing to her at tea time, they also told the restaurant we were going to that evening, and they made a special dessert for her. All without us saying a word. The room was perfect, housekeeping staff was impeccable and very sweet, the view was lovely, and the location is absolutely exceptional, even closer than we thought to Topkapi, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The staff was very helpful in directing us to all the other activities around town as well, helping us figure out transit, getting us taxis, making our reservations, etc. I cannot recommend Premist more highly. We would love to come back and are very grateful to the staff. We miss them already. Oh, and BREAKFAST. It is wonderful. A highlight of every day, and the service is very sweet and helpful.
Excellent hotel in old city
The hotel has an excellent location near Topkapi palace and is walking distance to all historical locations including Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque. The hotel provided us with an excellent service. We were greeted by the very friendly Ezgi at the reception and introduced us to the surrounding areas, the city and the transportation. The room was neat and clean. A little small though but we were aware of it when we booked the hotel. The decor however perfectly complimented the small room and had all amenities perfectly placed providing ample space to keep luggage and to move around hassle free. The breakfast is served in the basement. It has enough items to suit all tastes. The important point is everything tastes exquisite and is well prepared. They also serve cakes, cookies and tea in the evening. There is a garden where we had tea in the evening. It also has an orange tree. The tram station is located at a 10 minutes walk. Also be prepared to walk uphill a bit but that is the case with most hotels in the area. The hotel does not have a lift but this is also the case with most hotels in the area. The one problem I found there was that I could hear people talking and walking outside the room whenever they passed to reach their rooms. However, overall the hotel provides excellent service and is a recommended place to stay in Sultanahmet area.
good location
Only stayed one night, decor was unusual by US standards. friendly staff. Clean and tiny bath. Un usual TV that is disguised behind a mirror. You think it is a mirror until you turn on TV then you see TV ! Never have seen that before. Overall ok. Walk to a bunch of restaurants and sights.
Excellent in all aspects.
