A new meaning to basic
This room was clean staff were friendly but a whole new meaning to basic A bit of soap a plastic glass etc would have made a big difference I found this Hôtel difficult to find
Easy to get to and from the motorway
Booked site as comparable with premier inn's in united kingdom but the rooms were so small that in any part of the room noone could pass each other, the bathroom was very small. There was no good comparison that the premiere class could match the quality with premier inn.
Toilet is too tiny. Next to a noisy busy road. Couldnt sleep well. Not recommended if you are looking for a good sleep and proper bath.
Over all satisfied for our needs, as we just need a simple room to stay for stopover, staff there was helpful and nice. Free parking available.
Fine for quick stop
Room was fine for quick stop but room smelt of cigarette smoke and there was a cockroach in the bathroom.
Gap around door meant it was cold in the room overnight
Well priced and convenient hotel, nicely laid out room. Very good for stopovers
Basic but Comfortable.
Travelling back to the UK with our two dogs we stayed at Premiere Classe for one night. Whilst the room photos 'over-sell' the room size for a one night stop over the facilities were fine. Bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.
Shocking, vile, dirty and smelly.
Good location, there’s where the positives end. We paid for two rooms for our family. Checked in and headed to the rooms, they were both absolutely vile and smelt of raw sewage. Our bedroom had chewing gum on the floor in several places, mould up the walls in the bathroom, dirt, dust and a large build up of hair in the corners of the beds with empty sweet wrappers, on the bed sheet there was small curly hairs and crumbs/dirt. Being pregnant, it was a room we wasn’t prepared to sleep in. My husband attempted to speak to reception who had broken English. They came and looked at the bedroom and agreed it didn’t smell pleasant, he was shown the dirt and gum etc and he then stated they would facilitate a refund the following Monday. However, we’ve not received it. I’ve also contacted hotels.com myself and they have given us a coupon for the value of one room. However, neither room was slept in and we went and spent £150 on two more rooms elsewhere.
It was ok for 1 night to break up a long journey I wouldn’t want to stay any longer.
Basic, cheap, clean and friendly staff. Great stop between places for a night.
We just stopped to sleep 8 hours, on our way to the south. Staff at the reception was very nice but the floor in the room wasn’t clean. It was clearly not hoovered. Overall, excellent value for a stop when driving long distance, not sure about a weekend or holiday. It is quite noisy, you can hear people in the rooms next door or walking past outside as well as cars.
The check in staff were very friendly and helpful. The Bed was uncomfortable went in a bit to the middle
Property area not well kept, abandoned cars in the parking lot, some people seemed to be camping in the garden...
Basic pit stop room for drivers
Very basic small cheap room don't expect much for the price ok for pit stop break don't use for holiday or extended stay.
Very cheap and basic accommodation. Suited us for a brief overnight on a journey across France. Rooms are small and not suited to other than a brief stay but had all we needed for a break in a journey. Will definitely use again.
people were smoking directly outside my door as it was an open walkway but the small entered the room
Reims South Premier Classe
Easy to find, excellent check-in, comfortable, clean room.
AVOID
AVOID AT ALL COST Rooms smelt terrible and were not very clean. Lots of immigrants loitering around and playing scooter and football in the car park. Rooms are accessed directly from outside like US motel and so the noise from outside is clearly audible. Loud music from the neighbours with their door open was the last straw that made us leave. AVOID AVOID AVOID
***AVOID****
Awful avoid! Like a hostel! Booked a room with a bath for our two young babies and had no bath! Smelt like fags and fish the women at the desk was awfully rude saying there was baths and it wasn't! Discusting, lots of stairs to get up to the room and all are outdoors, rooms were awful, didn't stay there in the end, stil trying to get a refund for false advertisement ***AVOID****
Not what I expected from the pictures
outdoor access to rooms, uncomfortable in poor weather
Access to all rooms from the outside ok in good weather, in poor weather as we had, a little uncomfortable.
As expected for price
Plus points: loads of parking, near motorway and a cheap petrol station and McDonald’s; quick check in and out; friendly staff; cheap Cons: room smelt of smoke; with baby bed up couldn’t get out of room so definite fire hazard; not much space for luggage especially if three of you in room so just take small backpack each
Hotel was reasonably priced and ideal for our purpose of a stop over during our long journey. Clean and tidy, if there was a criticism it would be that there was not enough pillows on the bed and those supplied were quite small.
Best avoided...
Cheap end of this chain. Best avoided...
It is a very basic one. Good for spending a night or two.
OK for a stopover
I stayed at this hotel as a stopover on the way to Provence. It was chosen for price and it was basic but fine for one person staying only a few hours. It would have been cramped for two people and definitely not for any extended stay. But it was very clean and you get what you pay for. In hindsight I probably would book a slightly more expensive place next time.
Won't be using it again.
The room stank of stale cigarettes, the toilet smelled so bad that we couldnt use it at all.... glad we were only sleeping there for 6 hours!
.
Great choice if you are driving into Reims
Basic hotel as expected, but can be cleaner. Very old towels. Poor shower facilities. Shower drain very slow.
Not a great place and they charged me for staying there. Have to try and work with Hotels.com to get charge removed.
Better to sleep in your car!
Room realer so bad of smoke. One towel. No real shower. Scary property. Unkept hedges, etc. we could t stay. Paid and left.
Last night stay
Lovely big bed all clean room and breakfast filling
We booked 2 double rooms online and when we arrived at the property was only one double bed available
Dog barking in downstairs room. Receptionist unprofessional Man coughing & spitting outside our room for 2 hours in the middle of the night Shower blocked & bathroom flooded Shutter on window broken One bedside light not working No jug to boil water Rubbish outside not emptied Breakfast options very limited Overpriced Unsatisfactory experience
Not good
Property is worn w noisy guests.
This was like a party hotel with very small rooms and a lot of noise
Best described as a motel
This is not a 2 star hotel, at best a motel for van drivers going through Reims. The room was very small and clean , however the bathroom dirty and could not be cleaned. We arrived to balconies/corridors filled with people smoking and drinking with doors to room wide open and washing hung across the rails of the all corridors. We found this all particularly intimidating as we had children and needed to walk past all this to the top floor where our room was. Finally to top this all off , the electricity cut out in the early morning and when we informed reception the guy there shrugged his shoulders. It couldn’t have been an exte bal outage as they clearly had electricity in reception. Awful hotel and service overall and would not recommend this to anyone !
Well located for motorway access. Needed to use car to visit Reims centre but not far. Rooms were clean and tidy. Air conditions was brilliant. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Broken toilet, the flush button plates fall off
We were on our way from Germany to Paris and stay a night on the route in reims. Though i really enjoy premier class hotels, but this one is very very bad. We had a toilet which are broken. The flush button is about to fall off every second. Really disappointed experience
Clean and tidy
Clean room perfect for a quick over night stay
Good for overnight stop.
Good value, arrived later than planned all parking taken with rent a vans!!! Obviously meeting up drinking on the open corridor and smoking.midnight all was quiet. Bed was comfy, shower ok very small, breakfast basic 5euros. Staff very helpful. It was just an overnight stop for us. We will stay again if coming that way.
Awful hotel, not suitable for families!!!!!!
Checked in late in evening due to travelling, emailed 3 times during the day to confirm late arrival with NO response at all! Had to phone Expedia themselves to check about late arrival! Arrived to lots of people drinking out on the balcony where you access the rooms and was difficult to even get past them to get bag into rooms! Basic is too good a discription for the rooms! I wish we’d paid more to have some peace of mind! Lots of loud chatting at 11pm at night from the drinkers! Cleanliness was poor, got straight into bed, and up and out the next morning! Awful and very unsuitable for young children!
Sweet dreams in Reims!
Cheap and cheerful, ideal for our one night stopover. Booked going and also return from our holiday. Will use again. Air conditioning much appreciated. Helpful reception. Thank you.Well situated, Judy few minutes from motorway.
Great location; just off the motorway so really handy for a stopover when you’re on a long journey!
Only suitable for quick 1 night sleep - horrible smelly bathroom, I won't take shower there. Cleaning lady start to knock in door from 8 am. Otherwise ok, reception workers nice and polite.
Not premier at all
If you want a place to put your head down that's cheap this is it. Don't expect any frills because there are none. Very very basic accommodation like being in a small cabin on a ferry. When it states 3 single beds, one is a bunk you need to climb a vertical ladder to get into. Don't book if your afraid of small confined spaces.
Was much cheaper and no worse than other hotels of similar class. Excellent value.
Simple as expected
Not for comfort but just simple to break a long journey and good value
For smokers who drive
I booked the cheapest hotel near the TGV. It was a mistake. There is a tram just 200 metres that will take you the 5 km into the centre of Reims. My room smelled badly of cigarette smoke and was tiny. Breakfast was basic and wifi was patchy. It’s the worst Premiere Class hotel I’ve stayed in on my 2 month journey around France.
Good value
Very good value for the price. I was only looking for a place to stay.
Good overnight stop
Used this hotel for overnight stop while travelling home from holiday. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was very firm but very comfortable.
You get what you pay for.
Smelled of smoke. Room full of moths. Clearly in need of a refurb.
Superior service.
One of the better PC hotels. Excellent service sorting out problem when it arose.
Fine
Last minute decision, it was just fine
Dissapointing.
Didn't rest easy. When turned up in the first room we passed people were cooking on stove inside. Went to room. The main lock had been broken. I had to repair it myself with screwdriver and screws as could of just pushed door open. At 11:30 fire alarms went off. Got out of bed to find very confused receptionist who couldn't turn off alarm. Wasn't clear if false alarm or real, had to ask several times before all clear. Room smelt strong of dogs and bathroom needed some attention as some broken off holders etc.
Convenient and clean room
Very good price and best value. Small Room and tiny bathroom but good mattress and clean
Functional Motel
We were traveling back from the Alps and needed somewhere to stay half way through our journey, and this fitted bill fine.
Location is bad. It is hard to have someone's help
Hotel 's location is not good for you to take a bus. It is hard for you to go anywhere if you don't drive your own car. The room is too small for you stay there, just for sleep when you are tired.
Small beyond imagination
The room was small beyond belief, toilet was comparable in size to an aircraft toilet. Do not ever get the breakfast. It is priced at 5 euros but definitely not valued at such. Can definitely get better breakfast outside for the same price. Otherwise a good place.
Budget stopover in Reims
An adequate place to stay as a short stopover.
Good value for money
Good value for money. Convenient for us (with one son) as an overnight stopover. Quite small and no luxuries but clean and comfortable. Restaurant next door for dinner too.
Would not stay there again
Comfortable bed. Ants on floor of room. Bathroom door wouldn't shut without a struggle and the handle was loose. Stains down back of toilet. Very slow check in. I know it was cheap but would not stay there again.
Basic but fine to rest your head for the night. A Chinese all you can eat restaurant is only a short walk away if you don't fancy the restaurant next to hotel. Got what we expected for the price we paid.
Oh Dear!
Unfortunately this was pretty awful. It is billed as cheap and cheerful but although cheap it is dingy and dirty and the staff unhelpful. A pity!
ideal for a quick stayover
Overnight
overnight stop
Overnight stop on way home from south of France. Perfectly adequate for what we needed. Rooms clean, staff friendly, breakfast for 5 euro's.
Great value for money.
Used as a stopover enroute back from South of France. Excellent access to major routes so easy to find. Breakfast good and availability from 5.30am useful.
ok for stop over
we used hotel as a stop over to break up journey from south of france to calais. easy to find off A7. a little cramped (2 x adults 1x 12 yr old) wifi only available for 1 device which is a problem if you want to check the latest delay info from Calais and have to deprive a 12 yr old from the internet for more than 10 seconds!. staff ordered us a taxi into city centre €25, although buffalo grill in car park appeared popular with younger families .
Ok for one night and keep moving.
By this time I learned that all premier class hotels are the same, the look the same and they are the same inside. Very small in every aspect. This one was no different but the personnel was nice and courteous. So it is a good small cheap hotel.
Good stoppover hotel
Nice clean room comfy beds, and the reception staff were very friendly. a good choice for a stop over on our way to Paris!
Good value but not quite up to standard
Just an overnight stop on the way back home from Alps. Have used other premiere classe hotels this one not quite as good. Room had smell of cigarette smoke (cigarette burn marks in bathroom) Also internet connection intermittant. Still represents very good value for money for a qucik stop near autoroute - recomend eating at Campanile 3 mins away with reduced price for Prem. Classe guests
Cheap & functional
After worrying that telephone number didn't work (wrongly listed!) and knowing we were arriving at 23:30 - the reception desk was open (website says closed at 21:00!) however our reservation fine and no problem checking-in. Small & functional room, but perfectly clean, fresh bed linen, one towel in bathroom. Nice television too. There is some road noise, but that's to be expected due to it's location, however if you can get a room at the back I imagine it would be quieter. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Self-service; fresh baguette, butter, jams, Nutella, coffee/hot chocolate machine (very tasty) fruit juice, yogurts - set us up nicely for the day. It's a cheap & functional motel - don't expect much and you'll happy
ideal for 1 night stopover
For a overnight stopover the location was ideal as close to autoroute. Room was very basic could do with soap and towels for the price. beds clean and comfortable. didn't try to use the shower as similar to the inside berth on a ferry and very compact. Travelling as two adults and a young child so just needed a place to sleep.
Small rooms
Smallest room I've ever seen. Bathroom looked like it should be on a plane. If you just want a place for a good night sleep great place to stay. Don't try to check in early no one is available. They do have a self check in,by machine. If you have paid in advance the machine is not useful. It asks for payment. A large group of people were at the hotel before check in. This causes a wait when the attendant showed up.
Cheap
Cheap & cheerful, you get what you pay for. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.
Ideally placed at the south end of the town
Very comfortable bed, so slept very well. Breakfast was ample and tasty. Bathroom is very small .shower is a bit tight for someone my size. Would go back.
Okay Just To Sleep In
Not the best Premiere Classe hotel. It is more of a motel with rooms being accessed from outside, but my husband preferred it as less doors to walk through with baggage etc. We were there 1 night only to sleep, not sightsee, so this hotel did the job.
Good hotel for what you pay.
We stayed here twice as a stop over enroute to the UK and back. Cheap and cheerful, don't expect too much and you will be satisfied. Will definitely stay here again as a stop over.

basic but clean,
We arrived after 1700 when it should have been staffed but she was out making up rooms I think, auto check in worked up to the point it didn't spit out a key card! So had to wait for her to re-appear. She was very sweet though, lending us plates and knives to eat our cheese and pate from the convenient big supermarket. It was clean, and quiet despite being just off the motorway, just what we wanted as a convenient place to stop off on our journey to the Alps
Perfect for one night on the way through France
This was a great value option for my stopover on the way from Calais down through France.
Sorry to call it a hotel
Rather like sleeping in a pod. Shower area as small as an aircraft loo. Perhaps possible to practice for the mile high club
Good stop-over location
Adequate for purpose.
Hardly Premiere Class!
External stairways mean you may get wet moving to your room. The toilet/shower cubicle is minuscule. Shower enclosure ridiculously cramped.
Clean and near the highway
Great value!
Convenient for motorway
A convenient stop over en route to South of France. Cheap and cheerful ! Hippopotamus restaurant in the car park an added bonus.
Nothing good to say about this hotel
It took forever to find this hotel to start, the address does not have street number and we looked for about 40 minutes before we found it. Then we were confronted with a very rude and unpleasant girl behind the desk. She did not want to answer my 2 questions and when she did it was a huge bother to her and she was totally disinterested. Our room was one of the smallest I have been in, it was dark and dingy and yes it was cheap but we have been to plenty of budget hotels before but nothing like this. It was the type of hotel you do not want to go back to after dinner, there is no room at all just a double bed and the bathroom is the size of a one you would find in a small caravan (yes that small) The or St aspect for us was there was no heating at all and it as a very cold night. My husband went and told the girl and her attitude was the heating was the same through out the hotel and her heating in reception was the same as ours which was totally untrue, the reception area was nice and warm. We had air coming out of the air con/heater but it was neither hot or cold air just air ,so this did nothing. We had to turn it off when she would not do anything as it ended up blowing outside temperature air into room which was quite cold. We had to get under the blanket to keep warm. Would not recommend and would never go back.
Stay was comfortable for what we needed, one night stop off. would use the again. Only thing that was disappointing was that there was no toilet brush to clean after use. being a clean person it was a bit disappointing on that point. But regarding the rest, satified. Regards Eamann.
Room stinks of cigarette smoke
I thought this was a no smoking hotel! The room stank of stale cigarette smoke, gave me a sore throat after one night and a cough.
hotel was good as no frills stopover. great value for money.
Cigarette smoke very unpleasant
Non smoking rooms unavailable, stale cigarette smoke very unpleasant, especially when you have young children. Expensive beakfast, had to pay for the children aswell ''Gone of'f'' long-life milk for cereal, luke warm hot water for tea. Overall not a pleasant stop-over will not be returning.
Paid twice
Because I arrived after reception was closed, I had to pay again to get the room key, despite having paid Expedia already. When I tried to get the money back the next day, the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. Depsite many E-mails and promises, I have still not been refunded, over 3 months later.
Avis
Chauffage a fond... Dormi avc un t-shirt et un sweet ... J'ai eu froid toute la nuit ... J'avais la chambre numéro 1 (chambre handicapé) odeur de cigarette... Bref... Pas top
Clean good staff
