Was nice to stay in hotel
Premier Lodge - Grangemouth
The room was comfortable and provided all the necessary amenities that we required and the bed was really comfortable.
My First Choice
Premier Lodge is always my first choice when staying in the area for business. While the hotel is situated within an industrial estate, don’t let that deter you—it's incredibly quiet, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. I especially appreciate the small touches, like the complimentary biscuits with the tea and coffee. It’s these little details that elevate the experience and make a stay truly enjoyable. Premier Lodge consistently delivers with style and attention to detail, making it a standout option for business travellers.
Spotless, excellent staff.
Clean and modern.
Good clean property. Excellent customer service by Wilma. The location is in Industrial area but good links for transportation. Good value for money.
No
Rooms were immaculate and very good for the price
Great experience
Friendly staff, great service extremely clean . Will be coming back
was very clean, staff are lovely and very nice hotel, would recommend
Great for a 2 night stay.
Great stay. Perfect location. 10 minute walk to the Kelpies. Really helpful staff. Thank you !
Good, clean no frills hotel.
The hotel was in the middle of an industrial estate, but was easy to get to with ample parking. Check in was easy and front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was big but quite sparse, it could have done with a small sofa or easy chair (there was room for one) and maybe a couple of pictures on the walls. The bathroom was huge. The room was spotlessly clean as were all the public areas. The location was very quiet and not too far from The Kelpies and the M9 for access to Stirling and Edinburgh. The only downside with our room was the very bright spotlight outside which shone past the blind onto the bed head.
Great staff and the room was great with a very powerful shower
2 night stay.
2 night stay.Clean room, quiet area, good onsite car parking. The Lodge does not have a restaurant.
Wouldnt stay again
The bed was so uncomfortable that me and my husband was 11.30 at night were looking for another hotel to go to. The mattress was so horrible when i moved i could feel the springs. I ended up sleeping at the bottom in the bed which was a bit better. I dont think they flip their mattresses which means the same spot gets wear and tear. I had to get another duvet for the second night so we couls habe one on the bes and one to sleep under. And the room was either way to hot or way to cold.
The staff were all super friendly and amazing, especially Catja. I had to stay behind at the hotel due to Covid while my family went to Ireland. The staff made me feel taken care of during my stay. I am grateful for their hospitality
Good service and great restaurant recommendations
Spotlessly Clean, Competitively Priced
I’ve stayed at Premier Lodge in Falkirk several times now, and it never disappoints. The hotel is always clean, well-appointed, and provides a comfortable stay every time. Its central location makes it convenient for exploring the town, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. The rooms are spacious, with everything you need for a relaxing visit, and the staff are always welcoming and attentive. Another big plus is how competitively priced it is, making it excellent value for money. I would highly recommend Premier Lodge for anyone looking for a dependable and affordable stay in Falkirk.
Staff were super friendly, check in and out went quick! Room was clean and quiet. Bathroom was spotless. Would recommend for people who want a quiet, clean room and are not looking for amenities onsite.
This is a very handy low cost hotel. It's clean with friendly staff, bathrooms are larger than many hotels. There is no bar or breakfast but that doesn't matter too much as there are lots of facilities in Falkirk.
It was convenient to what I wanted to see, do and where I wanted to walk
The staff was the best feature of our stay here. They were very helpful and kind.
Sehr grosszügiges Zimmer und Badezimmer/Dusche . Top Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis .
Nice spacious room , clean and tidy. Friendly staff
Amazing location for the Kelpies. Staff very friendly. Kitchen area small but really good to be able to make own meals. Room basic but great - comfy bed and smart TV. Will definitely return.
First impression tidy and clean outside. Receptionist Susan welcoming and friendly, lovely lady. Room was spotlessly clean, great shower! No food on site but you can take your own and use the staff kitchen. Or numerous takeaways or restaurants you can try.
Right up front, the staff was great, particularly in being flexible in various aspects of our lodging. Plus pointing out that we were a 10 minute walk to The Kelpies, which we took advantage of several times during our stay. Parking was easy, with disabled spots right up front, and the folks staffing the hotel were able to get our laundry done within the timeframe we requested. Our room was basic and simple, which was all we needed, but also, per our request, it was a mobility accessible room. Not just on the first floor (albeit around a couple of tight hallway turns), but with space to move in, out, and around. More importably, the bathroom had the grab bars and the roll in shower that we needed. Any restaurant eating was a drive away, but with a grocery store as close, and a kitchen usable by the hotel guests, eating was not an issue, arguably even easier and cheaper. We would recommend the Premier Lodge to anyone we know going to this part of the world.

Plain but simple
Plain and simple Little bit noisy
Property located in an industrial area without neighborhood restaurants nearby.
A little surprised at the industrial type setting but the rooms were clean and well appointed. Loved the staff! I've traveled a good bit and these ladies take top kudos for being helpful, and just great human beings! Would love to get to return.
It was good stay and we enjoyed every minute
10/10.
Brilliant stay. Easy check in, great welcome by receptionist, got lost, but that's just us.. room was spacious, bed was comfortable (2 great nights sleep). Amenities were great, we were given a huge fan as it was pretty hot (worked wonders). First hotel in a while that offers hot chocolate, and it was good! We were given plenty teas, coffees biscuits etc. top class place!
Worst sleep ever.
First lets say the Staff were amazing.. the worst bed I have slept in ever, my wife caught her leg will putting her socks on and cut her leg on the glass top. And the link below will not open to allow photo of cut.
Tucked away in an industrial area, this hotel is fairly new and quite well done. Wilma, the receptionist, was lovely! So helpful and sweet! Gave us excellent recommendations and tips. Super quiet and comfy bed made for a great night's sleep. Plenty of restaurants and shops within 5 minutes away.
We chose this property as it was wothin walking distance to The Kelpies, and was reasonably priced.
The hotel was pretty nice but the amenities were lacking. We were surprised to learn that there was no mini fridge in the rooms but a few large, shared ones in the lobby/kitchen area. It was also pretty far from Edinburgh, so be aware that if you do not have a car, getting around will be a bit difficult.
Für die knapp durchschnittliche Qualität war der Preis recht hoch.
Decent Hotel
Its just a room. No bar or restaurant. Very clean ,both room and bathroom. Friendly staff. There is a little kitchen with fridge and microwave.
Karen, who checked us in was so lovely, friendly and helpful. We had a lot of questions and she answered them all with warm, genuine, sincerity.
Hotel was lovely and the receptionist very helpful and knowledgeable about local transport facilities and area. This made our visit to Falkirk and trip to Edinburgh go ahead with ease. Only downside out of the control of the hotel was the roadworks.
The Hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately there wasn't breakfast facilities (my fault for not checking properly). Overall really nice stay
Great
Clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious. A good stay. Needs a hob and some pans in its kitchen so one can cook a proper meal - there’s only a microwave.
Basic but very good
Basic but clean and comfortable Nice big powerful shower
Simple, but comfortable overnight stopover
Basic, but comfortable, clean and lovely service on check in. Really quiet and had everything you need for an overnight stay.
Receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable It's situated on an industrial estate so not the prettiest but did the job for an overnight stay
.
Very comfortable stay, staff excellent.
Great atmosphere
Lovely hotel, lovely staff especially Wilma, alway happy to help.
Unfortunately we were not able to stay because of a major police diversion to Aberdeen. This would of meant us arriving approx 5am. Neither of us were able to safely drive for that amount of time, so had to stay in Aberdeen. Although I understand that neither of us could do anything about this situation, I wondered if I could have any refund as a gesture of goodwill.
Basic but clean and roomy
Good
Good vist
Good stop
Good little stop, clean, friendly staff, and even hot chocolate and biscuits in the room
Generally very clean, quiet and very helpful staff.
Great stay, super friendly staff! Susan was so helpful! Spacious rooms, easy to get around!
Property located in an industrial park that was convenient for our needs. Nice, clean rooms; more of a traditional hotel you’d find in the states. Staff was very pleasant. Would return if needed to be in the area.
LOVELY STAY
Lovely stay . Friendly staff. Plenty of free parking . Quiet and nice rooms . Big spacious room and toilet. Need little improvement while re-servicing the room as my room supplies were not properly re-stocked and replaced. Overall good experience
Overpriced budget hotel, but ok
The good bits: - amazing and friendly reception team, informative and helpful - mostly clean rooms and reception area - good bathroom space - one of the best budget hotel showers, great water pressure - despite being a very small double bed, it had a comfy mattress and 4 different The not so good bits: - industrial location isn't too bad, just a bit strange, but only vending machines and delivery options, or you need a car to get out and about - very small room and little space to move around in, challenging with both of us with mobility issues (non wheelchair) - small double bed (I think the smallest UK double bed size) - so much bright lights in the bedroom at night affected our sleep and comfort - corridor lights under the gap under the bedroom door, the bright green emergency light above the door that was also right beside the bed as the room was so small, the 2 white flashing fire alarm lights, all reflecting off of the TV that also had irs own red light, the bathroom white light under the bathroom door gap abd the bright lights from outside/the car park that lit up the eindow and blinds due to the being a 1-2 inch gap between the blind and the window/wall - a lot of noisy coming and going in other rooms, we were located on the ground floor - some extra care needed when cleaning, I'm not sure whether it was a nut shell or toe nail on the floor next to the bedside table, I chose not to investigate. Overall, £100+ per night was a lot for this budget hotel.
You get what you pay for. Staff was nice but a pain to get to hotel without car or taxi. Noisy seagulls surround the hotel which can be a pain when you leave the window open for ventilation since there is no A/C
Totally recommend this place. Staff are so helpful and friendly. No places to eat close by but they have all types of takeaway menus and delivery was excellent. Thanks for everything
Comfortable room in a budget hotel. Clean and quite. All good.
Immaculate and so clean. Very spacious as well. Well worth the money. I could not believe how spacious and clean the too was.
Great Rooms and Service at a Great Price!
Perfect accomodations for our family trip at a great price. We were able to get two rooms for our family of 4 for less than what we paid for one room at other locations. Friendly and helpful staff, as well.
we didn't realise it was quite so far out of town (we didn't have a car) but we walked to Helix Park and got a McDonalds breakfast then caught the bus - so it was in fact great.
10/10
Nice hotel
Quiet out the way, room was very clean and tidy, shower was really good and bed was spotless
Short walk to the Kelpies.
Was ok
Good place to stay
Lovely place to stay. Very helpful friendly staff. Very convenient location.
Great location for the Helix Park and Motorway but set in the middle of an industrial estate. Everything you expect from the Premier Inn brand , clean, tide and pleasent helpful receptionist, though the bed was a little on the small size and there was no pub / restaurant adjacent.
Good budget hotel near the Kelpies
Stayed for one night in transit through Scotland. Had all we needed for the night. Good recommendations for local dinner which got a discount.
As above
Great price, good location for viewing the kelpies and lovely staff!
I've stayed here a few times now, the room and bathroom are very clean, the bed is comfy, and the shower is very good. I can recommend cooks restaurant next door to the nearby Grange Manor. Also the kelpies are a 5 minute walk through the wood at the end of the industrial estate. Also not forgetting the friendly and helpful staff.
Great hotel for our 2 night stay. Close to some attractions; Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel to name a couple Super clean, helpful and very nice staff Doesn’t have any breakfast available but you have full access to a kitchen which has microwave, toaster, crockery, utensils etc. just bring what you want and store in the fridge. Top tip; put your room number on and dates just so you know what belongs to whom Would definitely recommend this place. It is on an industrial estate but didn’t find that a problem at all!
Very solid place to stay, extremely clean, pretty quite
Convenient, friendly staff, clean & up to date
Lovely x
Just the industrial area a little untidy but the hotel itself not a problem
Clean tidy , friendly
Great
For where it is in industry easte was impressed how clean it was. Plenty windows that opened for fresh air. For 1 night was great very close to kelpies. Bed was comfortable i am not good sleeper in another bed but slept well. Lady at reception was amazing very pleasant and knows her things around the area very helpful. Infact i would say one of the best hotel receptionist. I would stay again. Very small and personal hotel. Only thing i would say no bar but not really important.
Good stay
Reception very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms spacious, clean and modern.
Fantastic stay made better by staff!
Really enjoyed my stay here, was greeted at reception and informed of facilities and also given local takeaway menu as I was hungry, from here we went to 2nd floor room, we took the stairs though there is an elevator (2 people max) after getting unpacked etc we grabbed food and used the kitchen facilities behind lobby. After which we took a short walk to the Kelpies, we were given directions by lovely member of staff. After a great nights sleep I enjoyed a coffee and biscuit from the facilities in the room. Upon checking out the same member of staff that greeted us and helped with directions was still working. With how friendly and helpful she was she helped make this stay! Her bosses need to know how great she was!
Kelpie
High Rate customer services Amazing standard of cleaning beautiful room
Get rid of single use plastic!
Good stay. Comfy bed. No AC. Only 2 plug sockets in room. Which i could find. Expensive! Biscuits supplied in room contained palm oil as major ingredient. Wrapped in single use plastic. Shower gel and the like, supplied in bathroom, were in single use plastic. 2 single use plastic cups supplied in bathroom. Poor sustainability.
Reception staff were excellent
Located in an Industrial area, but close access to major roads.
I would not stay here again. The room had a few visible dead bugs like the space had not been used in a long time. The shower did not drain so you were standing ankle deep in your shower water.
Amazing staff
Amazing friendly staff, in a very clean comfortable hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities very clean and very comfortable.
Clean room, great price.
Nice clean room. Price was great! The woman at the front desk was very helpful.
Swinging
Very welcoming and helpful one of the nicest we have stayed in
Last minute booking
Lovely cheerful staff. Felt welcome and although no restaurant there was a kitchen and fridge, microwave etc. we were able to order a takeaway and eat in the social area. Will definitely stay again.
Staff friendly, only downside is lack of plug sockets
Our shower didn’t fit the holder , one it was turned on the hose sprang off the wall as the pressure was to strong and the water temperature was to hot. Admittedly you could turn temperature down ,but the bathroom itself and accommodation was good. As a preference a slightly bigger bed would have been preferable, but comfy none the less. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful .
Road trip
The emergency light was on all night the lady on reception said it must be a fault and would report it
Near the Kelpies
Nice place
Basic and remote
I should habe read the description more carefully. This is a basic lodge, no restaurant or bar, in the middle of an industrial estate, a few miles from any real shops. Really noisy, people wandering up the corridor talking at the top of their voices at all hours. An almighty bang at 4am, with no visible reason. Lovely staff, great shower and bed but i wish I'd stayed somewhere else
Close to the Kelpies
All the staff were lovely, Sue Caron and Wilma were very friendly reception’s even spoke to the owner yesterday, could do with the bed been softer and night light was very bright but apart from that we had a lovely stay, good value for money and were told to go to Cook’s for our Sunday dinner absolutely delicious, we will defo return very close to go and see the Kelpies which was amazing to see when it gets dark
