Amazing staff !!

Staff made this place worth it. Very kind and so helpful. They arranged the scooter from the hotel for us. We had a 7am ferry and with the front desk having limited hours it was not a problem, someone was able to help us check out and return our scooter at 6am. Although I recommend arranging those things the night before if you need to leave early. Central location, quiet away from the noise. Beds were hard but everything else amazing

Good family run hotel. Have stayed on Koh Tao several times including other hotels. We have stayed at Pranee Amata 5 times now and would highly recommend. Will always choose this hotel. All staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Very good

Have stayed at this hotel on several occasions before, each stay has been more disappointing than the last, the pool bar is never open, so should not be advertised anymore, the pool is used everyday by dive schools doing scuba lessons, dogs barking all night. Don't think we will use this hotel again.

Great clean pool, cleaned every day, nice rooms, cleaned every day, good location, friendly staff. Only problem was the fridge which turned off when you were not in the room.

Excellent value for money.

Staff were extremely welcoming when we arrived and throughout the whole trip. Hotel was very clean and pool was lovely. We will definitely be staying here again and would like to say a special thank you to Noyna who worked at reception for making our trip so memorable.

Nice stay in Koh Tao

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. First it’s close from the beach, but not too close so you can sleep well. The pool is nice, the employees are perfect and really helpful. It’s also close from restaurants, bars... but again not too close. I didn’t rent a scooter for my stay in this hotel.

The rooms are very modern and clean, we were quite impressed for the price. The rooms are also quite spacious. The bathroom was large however the water for the shower was freezing cold on the hottest setting. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely helpful and kind.

Perfect base around Sairee Beach

The location is excellent, short walk to the beach, 7-11s, restaurants and dive shops. Staff were brilliant, organised an earlier check in, taxi back to the pier - pleasant, very accommodating and no issues. Beautiful pool, (sadly didn’t try the pool bar), spacious room, comfy bed, beach towels, daily water, kettle, fridge, air con and also fan. Stayed on the second level, quiet enough as pool closes at 8pm. Only small issues, the fridge requires the key in to operate and the bathroom had a clunky design as you have to walk through the shower to get to the toilet and sink. Overall perfect place to stay and be close to all the action, thanks to all staff at Pranee Amata!

Great pool, comfortable rooms, close to to town.

Staff were amazing, unfortunately I came down with a fever on whilst staying. They helped with everything from extending accommodation to arranging medical help and providing extra water and the occasional check up. Super friendly staff. The pools were amazing, one at 3m the other a fun pool including a great pool bar and plenty of space for lazing around on the comfy sun-beds. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and huge. They also had both A/C and a fan so you could switch between them. Tv could do with a few extra channels, but I wouldn’t normally complain had I not been stuck in bed for so long. Hotel facilities we’re great, coffee shop, laundry and tickets for just about anything. Great hotel, great value, would definitely stay again. Thanks team...

Nice hotel

The room was clean with lots of room and had AC and a fan. Good sized fridge and the bed was pretty comfy (the beds are very firm which others might not like). Laundry on site for 40THB per kilo or 80 THB for expedited (3 hours). The staff was very friendly and the front desk clerk Aommi was very helpful. Wished I would have talked to her before I made travel arrangements back to Bangkok. Overall, a very good deal in my opinion. Some might say it is a bit high for this area but on Koh Tao (unless you want a hostel or a room without an AC) this is one of the best deals I have seen. Also, close to the main area of Sairee Beach but just far enough where you can't hear the party goers and the music of the bars.

Friendly and clean Hotel close to Beach

We stopped here as a family and had 3 rooms. We were supprised at how spacious the rooms were awell as clean. The owners and staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for you. It is 5min walk to the beach and 7/11 shop. They offer laundry service aswel as arranging trips and transport. The only thing I can recommend to make it perfect is wifi signal was weak/slow and they could invest in some better seating on the balcony. Overall we were very happy with our stay for the price.

Okay for a short stay

It was an okay stay for a week. Centrally located. No frills. It's not great value for money, especially compared to some of the other places in Koh Tao we stayed at. WiFi is next to nonexistent. The room is good, although the bathroom had a mouldy smell and the sink is too tiny for any use.

everything is ok except the site says every room has a balcony but only half do. I would not book this if I got the room with no balcony

Comfy and clean

I stayed here with my spouse Andrew we both felt comfortable through our stay. The only negative would be that we had to ask for more toilet paper. The room was clean and quiet. Air conditioner was great and so was the tv. Bed was comfy. Would definitely recommend

LOVELY

We loved it here! Great location, clean rooms, pristine washroom, big balcony. Just great! The woman at the front desk (manager?) was phenomenal!!! She spoke English which was incredibly helpful as we booked our bus, boat and flight with her. She was so friendly and accomodating. The WiFi and hot water weren't great, not a complaint just a fact.

The shower is cold, the sink is to small for the tap and all the water comes out. The door didn't closed completely and mosquitos went inside

Don't recommend it

I didn't have a good experience at this place. At check in they demand either 2000 baht cash payment as deposit or they hold on to your passport. This should be made explicit upfront before booking. On Christmas day they say check out time is 10 am instead of 12 noon which is what was published on hotels.com because they had "many bookings". It's very rude to treat guests like that. And they have your depsoit or passport.... The room itself wasn't too bad but there was no hot water. Also I don't recommend eating at their restaurant because food was bad and takes forever to come. The mango shake was good though. There's a good buffet breakfast nearby for 200 baht which is a much better option.

OK hotel at average price

Good location for siaree beach, the rooms could have been cleaned more, we stayed 4 nights and only had the room cleaned once. Towels are replaced if asked and taken to reception.

Lovely peaceful place

Was a great hotel with very friendly staff!! Breakfast was a little over priced.

Good little base point. Close to beach and centre/nightlife. Fairly noisy until 1am and poor wifi. Ok for price but better looking places nearby for a lot cheaper.

Had an overall great stay. The location was very ideal. The room was clean. The wifi was great. Only thing was that the staff is a little rude...

Nice hotel, friendly staff

Nice hotel with swimming pool. Inclusive breakfast was a delight with a variety of choices. The room smelled a bit like mildew, but once the AC was on the smell dissipated. Nice staff, offered to let us show after we checked out and went to the beach. Overall decent hotel choice for the price.

Great new hotel in quiet location

We were welcomed with a free juice when we arrived and allowed to check into our room early. Staff were generally helpful and assisted us with laundry and hiring a scooter. The hotel is very new so our room was well equipped and had a huge, comfortable bed. There was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom but the room was clean and was serviced every day. It's a shame the hotel has no pool but it's only a 5 minute walk to the beach as well as to bars and restaurants. It is far enough away from the action to be very quiet.

Good service, great facilities!

The hotel was very high quality and we immensely enjoyed our stay. Other than some communication issues with the hotel staff, the service was also very nice.

The location and staff were great. 3 Beds. Clean. 5 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Air Condition. Wifi wasn't always working or very slow. If you want, they clean your room. We had breakfast included, variety is a little bit limited (everything good, except pancakes and eggs with ants )

Öppet, men få turister

Bodde i ett rum med tre sängar. Lite lustig design på badrummet med duschen för toaletten. Dock med väldigt bra tryck och varmvatten för att vara ett thailändskt hotell i den här prisklassen. På grund av få turister så var endast hotellet igång, ingen av deras restauranger eller barer.

タオ島はスキューバダイビングをする人にとっては憧れの地で世界中からそれを目当てに沢山の人が訪れます。 残念ながらコロナの為に今はお客さんは今は少ないです、ですが海も魚も島本体も宿泊環境も何も変わらないで癒しをくれます、今がチャンスかもです。

WARNING WARNING!!

WARNING WARNING! Someone had gone through our bags one day when we got back to our room. Things were displaced and on further inspection we found that 5000 baht was missing!!! We had locked the door and the staff claim that they always locked the door as well which means that the person that took the money most likely has a key. We never saw who took them and the hotel management asked their staff and nobody knew either. In the process of informing the hotel management we were asked to search our bags and had to empty the entire content of our bags out on the bed IN FRONT OF the hotel staff! Extremely uncomfortable. Other than that very sketchy and uneven water heat going from freezing cold to burning within seconds. Not at all a place to recommend!

Sale de bain très basique

Chambre spacieuse mais pas très propre, la sale de bain est horrible pour ma part et je ne reviendrai pas pour cette raison par contre les gens de l’hôtel ont étés d’une gentillesse et loin du port pour se promener compter 400 bath du vol car éloigné du port pas énormément de choses. pas d’eau chaude dans la sale de bain vraiment basique

Ganska nöjd!

Det var ganska bra! Vi hade lite problem med våran toalett de fixade tre gånger sen var både handdukarna och lakanen lite smutsiga. Man var tvungen att be om att få städning vilket var ganska dåligt men när vi kom blev vi oxå uppgraderade till en svit vilket var väldigt trevligt! Kylskåp och ac fungerade bra!

冷蔵庫は、外出等で部屋の鍵を持ち出すと止まります。そのため、昼間外出していて、夕方戻ると室温です。役にたちません。 シャワーは、全力で出すと、シャワー室の扉に直撃し、部屋が水浸しになります。 部屋の掃除は、朝に札を出すとやってくれるシステムのようですが、元々部屋に札が無く、クレームを言って、宿泊3日目にやっと札が来た。 部屋の掃除をしても8回中3回、無料の水を置くのを忘れられた。 部屋の細かい注意事項、案内が何も無く、自分で全部聞いた。（もちろん英語） プールがあることだけが利点で、それ以外は、周りのもっと安いホテルの方が良かったと思う。（同時期に周辺ホテルに宿泊していたため、聞いてみた。）

Accueil chaleureux, personnel très serviable. Aommi, à la réception, nous a été d’un grand service pour nos transports et des informations touristiques. Elle est très aimable et consciencieuse, tout comme le personnel. Nous y sommes restés plus longtemps en attendant que l’alerte météo cesse (pluie abondante et orages). Ils sont bien équipés pour pallier aux pannes de courant. La piscine peut servir pour les cours de plongée.

プールもある綺麗なホテル

こちらは２度目の宿泊になります。以前と比べて綺麗なプールが出来てました。スッタフも以前より増えてとても感じがいいです。昼食も食べましたが、安くて早く、美味しかったです。ダイビングの昼休みでも間に合いました。ルームクリーニングやお水の補給はドアノブに目印を掛けて置かないとやってもらえません。タオ島ではわりと当たり前なんですが、慣れて無いと驚きます。僕はたまにやってもらって、他の日はスタッフにタオル交換と水を下さいと言えば直ぐに対応してもらえるので不自由はしませんでした。でも日本から来た人はびっくりしてましたけど。お値段からすると、部屋がきれいでプールもあるし、頼み事は直ぐしてくれるので、オススメだと思います。港の送迎はロンプラヤー社の船の時間は無料で送ってくれました。(朝9時です)船のチケット買ったからかもしれないですけど？

中心からは遠い

夜遅くに空港から15分くらいで行けました。空港からは近いですが中心部やビーチが少し遠いです。バイクレンタルできたので良かったです。部屋や従業員は良かったと思います。

初のタオ島故に心配してましたがかなり快適で綺麗とはなホテルでした…シャワーの出や温度も良く、ベッドも快適でしたよ…何よりホテル自体が清潔に保たれています…部屋はかなり広々としていますがエアコンの効きも良くほんと快適でした…ベッドのシーツやバスタオル、バスマットも綺麗だしね…タオ島滞在中2カ所に泊まる予定だったけど次のホテルに行きたくなくなったくらいだよ… また利用したいホテルです…近くにモーニングがとれるカフェもあり、セブンイレブンもあり、ローカルフードもあり、かなり満足してます…何より清潔だよ…これ、大事ね…

新しく綺麗

まだ出来てそれほど時間がたっておらず、とても綺麗な部屋でした。また、ベランダがとても広いので、ダイビングの機材を乾かすには充分でした。難点は水がお湯に変わるのに時間がかかりました、自分の部屋だけだと思いますが、テレビが映らず、フロントに言ったらすぐチェックすると言われましたが、どうせ見ないのでチェクアウトしてからでチェクして下さいと伝えました。

Billigt och bra

Wifi var nästan obefintligt men i övrigt bra. Rent och fräscht i Thai mått :) Man får det man betalar för så tycker att det var väldigt prisvärd!

Dette hotel er meget nyt og liver op til de billeder man ser! der er dog nogle steder hvor det ku trænge til en lille reparation. jeg tror nemlig bygningen stadig er ved at "sætte sig". Koldt vand: Nogle har beklaget sig om der ikke er varm vand, det er ikke sandt! det tager bare 2-5 minutter før det kommer;) Rengøring: Der var nogen der også havde brokket sig over manglende rengøring. Man bestemmer selv hvor ofte man vil have gjort rent på det her hotel. Hvis du vil ha gjort rent hver dag, så siger du det til Receptionen eller hænger "Clean" skiltet på døren. Byggeplads uden for: Ja, de er ved at bygge noget over på den anden side at hotellet (10-15 meter) men det var minimalt hvad vi kunne høre, så skal det være fordi man generes af det ligger i udsigten. Depositum: Det var vores første tur til Thailand, og det men depositum er åbenbart meget normalt. Der var også en kommentar hvor man havde brokket sig over at ligge det depositum. men det giver god mening, for hvis man ødelægger noget, så skal selvfølgelig betale. Unge fest glade mennesker: På vores første 5 dage hvad der nogle meget fest glade mennesker, dette gik os lidt på da det ikke havde nogen ende. Men her kommer kommentaren med Depositum også ind i billede. Service og gensidig venlighed: Men efter vi havde ydret os fik vi et andet værelse, og det på jeg sige, man kommer lange med venlighed, vi havde den bedste service og et yderst hjælpsom personale! PS læs lidt om Kultur og skikke!

Sauberes Hotel in toller Lage

Wir hatten zwei Nächte im Pranee Amata verbracht. Leider hat es die ganze zeit sehr stark geregnet. Es war schade da man bei regen kaum etwas auf Ko Tao machen konnte. Daher waren wir froh das unser Zimmer gross und sauber war. Das Badezimmer hat für thailändische Verhältnisse eine tolle Dusche. Das Personal war freundluch. Die Lage ist zentral. Man ist schnell zu Fuss am Strand und bei den Restaurants.
