The property is located on a shopping street and very convenient to many of the Porto areas of interest. The breakfast was excellent and the room extremely comfortable.

Great hotel but not able to use sauna

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Breakfast was great. Think that annoyed me was that we paid extra to book a hotel with a sauna and pool. Advertised as open at 8am. Both days, sauna cold at 8am and advised it would take an hour to heat up. Totally pointless as by that point we were out for the day. Someone needs to turn the sauna on at 7am so it’s ready to use at 8am… another customer told me it had also happened the day before.

Location, Location, Location! Perfectly located between the busy city center and the river front. Everything within Porto was within a 20 minute walk. And, if you opened your window, you had live music down below on the avenue. Staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful with information.

Nice hotel, tiny room!

Great hotel option on a walking street in the center of Porto. Rooms are small, only enough space for the beds. There was no place to put luggage other than on the floor and no desk, no seating other than the beds. The small size of the room wouldn't be my first choice for more than a 1-night stay.

Room Was cozy as expected in Europe, but super clean and had a window that opened which was great if you like a little noise to sleep. Perfect walking area and helpful staff with recommendations for dining, walking and tours.

The room was cavernous, small and dark. Others Pousada have nice grounds this did not really have any amenities. We enjoyed other hotels this trip more and at half the price. Not worth the cost.

Best central hotel for exploring Porto! We hardly had to use transportation at all! The front desk staff went above and beyond recommending restaurants and getting reservations. This is a busy area of Porto, so there will be people out and about. Only con is I could not get ahold of the front desk by phone to turn on the sauna by the pool. We eventually gave up.

Highly recommend this hotel. So many things going for it. Mainly location but also scores high regarding cleanliness, staff and wonderful rooms.

This is my favorite place to stay when I’m in Porto. The hotel is in an ideal location! The staff goes out of their way to make your stay perfect. Rooms also come with bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast is serviced daily. There is great variety and it’s yummy. Love it! Thank you to all at the Pousada Porto.

I recently stayed at Poussada Porto and had a great experience. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean (although the room spray was a way too strong when we first entered, making us wondering why so much) and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable place to relax. The hotel's location is also a big plus. It's within walking distance to Old Porto, which made it easy to explore the city's historic sites and enjoy the local atmosphere. The only downside is that the hotel is located on a wonderful pedestrian street. Therefore, when arriving by car, we had to climb a small uphill side street. Overall, Poussada Porto is a wonderful choice for anyone visiting Porto. Highly recommended!

What an absolute find! We loved everything about this hotel - the helpful & friendly staff, the room, the gorgeous breakfast, the bar on an evening and the location. We were so pleased with the location. Only a 2 minute walk from Sao Bento train station where we arrived by metro from the airport. Less than 10 minutes walk down to the river front and all the lovely bars - and at the bridge end so we could walk over to Gaia easily. Nothing was more than a 20 minute walk in any direction. We do walk quickly but even so, half an hour stroll should get you everywhere. There are lots of cafes and bars on the street as well, if you don't want to wander too far. We're definitely recommending this one to all our friends!

The hotel has a superb location so easy to access all parts of the city. The Staff are extremely warm and welcoming and go out of their way to be courteous and helpful to guests. The rooms and communal areas are extremely clean and are very tastefully decorated.

The check-in staff, lounge bar staff, cleaning staff and restaurant/breakfast room employees were all wonderful! They made our stay magical; they were so attentive, considerate and genuinely happy to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be returning for sure!

I wanted so much to give this hotel 5 stars, unfortunately I have to give it 3. It is beautifully furnished, the spa is great, and the staff are great, however the sound proofing is terrible. Our last night we got no sleep due to people being loud above us, we moved room and then had more noise beside us. It looks like it was recently refurbished, however no attention was giving to sound proofing, as you can hear conversation word for word between rooms. If this were fixed it would be an excellent hotel.

The Pousada Porto - Rua das Flores was wonderful -Everything about it: location, luxury design and accommodations and staff. We didn't want to leave. Located in a central area, though touristy, once inside the hotel, the experience was elevated. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the room was spectacular and we can't say enough about the professional, knowledgable and extremely friends staff. We'll absolutely stay there again.

A lovely place to stay

What a lovely hotel! We had such great service from everyone - especially Mauro in the restaurant. He made sure to remember that I’m Celiac and had gluten free bread waiting for me for breakfast. It was truly thoughtful. But everyone is amazing. The hotel is also conveniently located. 7 mins to the water (a small hike to come back though!). You’re also 5 mins from the historical train station. Truly there is something around every corner that will have you in awe. The restaurant at the hotel is a hidden gem. Truly- treat yourself to anything but especially the prawns and octopus salad. The American style buffet breakfast should not be missed either. Veggies, eggs, smoked salmon, cheese, chorizo, and more!

Great location. Wonderful amenities. But what stands out the most is the staff. Amazing team of professionals! Our room was a little hard to navigate. Very narrow. Had to crawl around the bed to get from one side to the other. That’s our only negative comment.

We stayed here for 4 nights and we love it , room is beautiful decorated , love the bathroom is super spacious the only negative I will say is the room is a little dark and wish they had a full size mirror but other than that was a great place for us to stay we walked everywhere, close to restaurants and shops , breakfast was great and convenient, I would stay here again

The hotel is on a busy pedestrian street which is crowded with souvenir shops and is very difficult to get to by car. Ubers can not drive on the street and taxi's are limited. Despite that, it was quiet and an easy walk to many sights

Very much in the heart of the ciry, was very convenient for us for getting around, not too far from the metro station either. The hotel is beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the first night there and very much enjoyed the experience.

We had a great stay here while in Porto! The hotel is in a great area that allows easy access to everywhere in Porto. The hotel was very clean and the service was great. The Cozy Pool was a wonderful area to relax in after walking around all day. The breakfast was fabulous!

What I liked about this hotel is the location in terms of it being near everything. However, it is located in a very busy walkable street and it is super noisy. There is no protection against the noise and it was difficult to sleep. The hotel has excellent food; we ordered room service and the food was great. However, you have to call reception (it’s difficult to reach them because the phone is always busy) and they place the food request to the restaurant. There is no help with luggage nor concierge and the a/c is not the best.
